Zin ducked, dodging Alec's hastily-aimed blow, and backed up again. She smirked a little, proud of her hit, but her smile quickly changed to an expression of concern as he held up a hand to call for a pause. She hoped she hadn't seriously hurt him... But he didn't indicate a desire to quit yet, and she wasn't about to back down either. Her bruises ached a bit, but she was still game. "Let's finish this!" she crowed confidently. She shifted her weight from foot to foot for a moment, seeking an opening, before making her move. leon_a_darkangel 1: Alec gets to counter attack 2: Zin misses 3: Zin gets in a hit 4: Critical hit!

Alec was fine once he'd had his moment to catch his breath, and nodded confidently to her to dispel the obvious concern. Her blow was equally hasty, and his next move wasn't well placed. The equally agile teen easily evaded his blows as surely as she'd his. His counter on her punch hadn't been as effect as he'd hoped resulting in only managing to swing at air as he tried to follow up with his own strike. "Not giving in yet! Here goes." Alec shot back, squaring his shoulders as readied himself. His breathing wasn't as even, but he kept his body in motion trying to move around to get in a better angle for his next strike watching for her next move. The red head kept his eyes on her, least he regret taking any would be avoidable hits. Renekai Following previous 1-4 numbers = Missed. Lets say next person to hit even gets to finish the match, and odd is a miss?

They'd each found the other's rhythms, resulting in great dodging practice. Zin wasn't satisfied with that, though; she wanted to win! "Next person to land a hit wins!" she declared. She was panting just as heavily as Alec; her heart was pounding, and the adrenaline was running out, leaving her feeling exhausted. It looked like they were both on their last legs. Putting everything she had into one last shot, Zin charged forward with a startling battle cry. leon_a_darkangel Sure! Even = finishing blow, odd = miss

Rennati knew that when Axel laughed, it wasn't to be mean to her, but to try and make it a little less awkward. Maybe it would help. Laughing a little bit as well, she stood a little ways away from him. She knew she needed to do well with this, but it was so difficult when you were as clumsy as she was. When Axel agreed that he'd try to teach her, Ren was grateful. The clumsy trainee knew he didn't have to, really he could probably just beat her to a pulp, but he was going to help her, and for that she was thankful. When Axel got into position, Rennati's face changed. Her eyes narrowed, her jaw set, a very determined look in her eye. She studied him and tried to copy everything. Getting mostly everything correct, Ren adjusted herself so that she had her right hand dominant and hoped she was in the right deffensive pose. With his warning, Rennati nodded to him. She saw his punch coming in and it looked really super fast to her even though it really wasn't. Right before his punch connected with her shoulder, something seemed to click in her head that she was supposed to block it and she hastily moved her forearm to push the punch away. With a surprised look on her face, she stood there somewhat dumb-founded before getting a huge smile. "Okay okay! Now I'm gonna try!" She said excitedly as she tried to get back into position though she didn't quite get it. Figuring she'd aim for his shoulder just like he did for her, Ren tried to not through her whole weight with it like the last time. troll toll Feel free to have her hit where ever or miss or be blocked or whatever. ^.^

Lenore was knocked off balance by Mykanos' counter/block. Stumbling a bit, she threw a punch with her left hand at his thigh. She had to keep on the offensive if she was to have any chance at winning.

She did not expect it to work or that she actually hit him in that did not make him wince in pity. Before she could respond to his words, he came at her. He was freaking fast, she did not have time to block his punch as it hit her in her abdomen. The air came out of her lungs in a rush, but before she could catch her breath, Hazel was on the ground being straddled at the boy. Her breathing continued to come in gasps. What was she to do in this situation? She could always try to bring her legs up to create space between him and her, then press them against his chest and push off. But the problem would be getting her legs up, since the way he straddled her did not allow for too much movement and she did not possess the strength to roll him over. Could she try to hook him with her leg and bring him to the side and then straddle him herself? Was she even that flexible to get her leg that high? No that would not work. She needed to do something that did not require too much strength or flexibility. Days of when she was in this position filled her thoughts, how did she get out then?
There was no more time to think about this, she needed to get moving. Hazel brought her legs up, so that her knees were bent behind Jeonge-jae’s back. All of a sudden she pushed up from the ground, sending Jeonge-jae forward towards her head. She dropped her hips back down and grabbed the left arm of her partner. Bringing it into her chest, locking it into place, then she stepped over his foot. She bridged a second time and then turned toward the left, finally straddling the boy. Her breath came in quick gasps and her face was red. If he tried to get free of her saddle, she did not thing she would have the energy to do what she just did again. {{Sorry that it took me so long to reply, the Titan known as School had eaten me. I hope you are okay with what I did there. Here is what it looks like [x].}}

Alec twisted, shifting his weight to his other leg, breathing in first, and out he held his stance as she came charging. The shout had his nerves on edge, tension in his posture. "One shot eh?" He replied to her bold choice in how they'd conclude this battle. Nodding his head, he watched her closely. Using the momentum of her body, he grabbed her wrist, sweeping with his legs with a shout of his own. While he didn't aim for the ankles to hurt he used her charge to bring the other down to the ground. Still he was out of breath, releasing her arm and smiling gently down at the younger. "Thanks Zin.. That was fun, you fought really well." Alec offered his gloved hand down to her, not one to gloat instead appreciative of the fact they'd gotten in a good practice session. Renekai :> we'll have to do a rematch some time! or another type of match up idk rofl.

Staggering back from the blow, Hilda straightened up and felt her stomach where it landed. It hurt but nothing was broken. Hilda scowled at her opponent. "That was a pretty weak punch. You don't have what it takes to do this. Maybe you should spend more time shoveling at the stables to beef up." Hilda didn't take kindly to the other girl's tone when she was challenged. Frowning, she lowered her head and charged at Preacher in a mad rush. Her arms flailed through the air, fists clenched and ready to beat the crap out of Preacher. It was all a clever ruse. Just out of reach, Hilda skidded to a stop and began to HORK and HOCK. The dainty blonde girl started spitting rapid-fire at Preacher. She unleashed a hailstorm of spit, one after another. If her plan worked Preacher would now be off guard, wondering what the ******** Hilda was doing. Hilda pressed her advantage with a lunge forward, leaping into the air and throwing her patented Hilda Haymaker straight down, her knuckles connecting with Preacher's chest. "Aaaaaaahhhh!" Hilda screamed, falling to the ground and rolling to and from, clutching her arm to her chest. "I sprained my wrist!"

Really, the witchcraft-born twins (for what else could they be?) were too adorable! He wondered idly if he set them next to each other, what differences he could find. Maybe one's hair was slightly different? ...no. Or one was cockier? He chuckled. And did not see Hwan-jae coming. Alister went down once again, this time with a creaking sigh flowing out of his mouth. He really was tree-like, at times. Still, he thought quickly, for once, and evaded the other boy's pinning hands, rolling him over onto his own back. Suddenly, Alister grinned and kept rocking to the right, Hwan-jae on top, then Alister, then Hwan-jae, then Alister. A laugh escaped from him as they topsy-turvied their way around. He had decided he wanted to see exactly how far they could roll. Perhaps they could just... roll right out of this lesson!

"Gotcha!" With a successful pin Jeong-jae grinned down at Hazel while she wiggled beneath him. It was kind of weird to be just sitting on her like this and he wondered if he should continue the fight or count it as a win when suddenly he was pushed forward and rolled to the side. Confused as the blur of motion disoriented him, Jeong-jae blinked as Hazel managed to roll out from under him and switch their positions. Wow where did she pull that from?! Her strategy seemed to work as he laughed at the strange reversal and struggled to shift into a better position.
"Nice! But it won't hold me for long!" When Jeong-jae had been straddling the girl his weight had helped in securing her to the floor. She was much lighter than him and thus not as capable of keeping him down with her mass of barely a hundred pounds. It was a strain to push her off from this angle but not impossible thanks to the difference in their size and strength. The fact that she'd done even this much impressed him. Sliding her off of him with a bit of effort, he rolled away and pulled himself to his feet.
"How'd you do that anyway?" Curious to know, he held up his hands to block if she tried to attack again but was clearly less interested in the official curriculum now that the chance to learn another useful skill came up.
((It's alright! Hope it isn't bogging you down too much though!))

Rose's ability to fight was like his ability to socialize. It didn't exist. "....." curling his hands to fists he backed up and took a singular swing before backing away, hands at his sides, not really thinking after one sing he ought to have kept going. "I am not familiar with the practices of combat." Against humans or titans. "I appologize if I am a poor partner for this exercise, I do not feel very comfortable in.. gatherings." He never had, and never likely would. "Are things normally this loud and crowded?" He was going to struggle here in the classes, that was for sure.

" A bit stupid to be left without something as basic as a knife." He muttered, still disinterested in the sparring. "Mostly just shoving someone's face into a wall works. Breaks a nose, step on a boot then break a few fingers- I mean if you want to fight and take someone out the easiest way would be to dislocate their ankle or wrist." Having fallen to the ground he kicked upwards, aiming for her chin. Even if she ended up biting her tongue that would have been progress. "Practice like this has no meaning without drive. At least give us something to fight for like a better bunk."

Shakuntala winced upon the impact of Rose's balled fist to her arm. It was a clean punch and the pain radiated in a pulsating heat that traveled up the base of her limb, but the girl ignored it and fixed herself straight.
"It's... I-it's fine," Shakuntala returned, "I'm n-not a good partner either..." Blinking at his next statement, she nodded her head. "It is... S-so many people, aha..."
Thinning her lips, the trainee realized it was her turn to make a punch, but she was readily open to doing so. Shakuntala didn't want to bring harm to another; especially someone she hardly knew. After gathering her bearings, she finally raised a fist and threw it in Rose's direction.

Farvardin sprang back when he began to fall and when she saw his leg kicking up she knocked it aside with one of her arms. "Well sometimes it happens because things go wrong. You need to be prepared for it." She said bouncing back a few steps to give him time to get up, "Yeah that stuff does work and the easiest thing to do in a fight is to simply deter the person from continuing by dislocating or breaking something. Doesn't always work though." She laughed at the rest of what he said. "Well you got to pick your own bunk so if you got a bad bed sorry. All the drive you need for this is to survive... and well pass so you can continue on and not repeat the class." She then rushed him and faked a right hook. It was immediately followed by a left handed punch to the gut. She ended up misjudging the distance and had thrown her punches too early. She staggered forward for a moment before tripping on a rock. Then it was a quick trip to the ground face first.

The sudden turning motion was unexpected and Hwan-jae yelped in confusion as Alister got them rolling. But after catching on, he grinned and began to join in the movement to see where they'd end up. He wasn't gonna be the first one to wimp out from dizziness. The purple boy crashed around with him and it was a wonder they didn't knock over any other sparring teams. Alister began to laugh and it was a pleasant light-hearted sound that got Hwan laughing as well as they kicked up a good amount of dust.
"You're not bad, Alister." Finally settling down, he lay on the ground with his arms spread lazily apart as he breathed. The flurry of activity had been fun as well as the fight even if it'd mostly been them crazily stumbling around and he decided Jeong's room mate was alright. Even if he was deceptively pretty (compared to his surprisingly slick fighting skills).
"I guess it's a draw. Until next time! I'll best you next fight." Wicked brown eyes sparkled with an obvious promise of another round again at a later date. It was clear he wanted to find out who was really stronger between the two of them though they both needed to practice more. He raised a hand hoping for a handshake and agreement to try this again sometime. The Semblance of Unity Thanks for sparring with me, it was a lot of fun! Let's do it again sometime!
