Aurianna nodded and said "Well, we'll have to see what we can do about this. Chane, the healer, is not here right at this moment, I believe he's out gathering herbs or some such..." She paused, and looked a little embarassed to admit this next bit. "I really don't understand what all he does, honestly. I just know it's worked well for Miro. But he usually returns before the sun sets, in my experience, so I don't think you'd have to wait all that long." She moved aside from the entrance of the cave. "Come in, dearest, come in and rest til he arrives... Rosh, you know you're always welcome as well."

Rosh smiled a little, and nodded, but waited for Zeldin to enter. She was the important one here, and if nothing else, he could always go to find some one... After all, Auri could protect her daughter better then he, he was quite sure.

Zeldin nuzzled her mother again, then made her way inside the cave to a soft bed where she'd slept with her mother when she was a foal. She lay down, trying not to jar her injured wing, though she shook with the effort.
Once she was down, she closed her eyes, then mumbled something that was meant to be a thank you, but sounded like nonsense, before drifting off.

A few days later, Roshahan returned to Aurianna's cave to check on Zeldin. It wasn't that he didn't trust Auri or Chane, since he did... It was he felt he should, and also... well... He rather liked the mare. She was sweet and kind, and innocent in a delightful way. Or so it seemed to him, anyways. And besides, he felt he had something of a gentleman's duty to check on her, after all! He had rescued her, clearly he should make sure she was well!
Or at least that was the 'logic' he was using to justify it in his head. He'd even gathered a few flowers... Some pretty purple irises he'd found... As a 'Get Well' Gift. He paused at the entrance, and set the flowers gently down, before calling into the cave. "Hello... It's Roshahan, might I come in?"

Zeldin's lay on a bed of soft clovers and sprigs of lavender that had been gathered together at the back of the cave. Her wing had been bound up and packed with a special blend of herbs provided by her mother's friend. She wasn't sure how much they helped, but they did seem to sooth the injury and alleviate some of the pain.
Most of her time home she'd simply been sleeping. As much as she'd wanted to be out walking through her old home she was just too tired most days. The odd time she was awake, she was either eating, or thinking about that stallion who had come to her rescue.
She'd never had someone on her mind quite this often before, so when he showed up at the cave, she found she was quite flustered.
"Oh, yes, come in!"

Rosh beamed, and leaned to pick up the flowers, before he entered. He slowly walked in, so his eyes had time to adjust to the shade inside, as it was a rather bright day out, and he really did not want to make an a** out of himself by tripping on so much as a pebble. He'd look stupid, and possibly hurt himself. All told, it was definitely better to be careful.
Once his eyes had adjusted, he moved to the back of the cave, smiling around his carefully gripped teethfuls of flowers. When he got to Zeldin, he gently set them in front of her. "A gift, in hopes that you are healing well, Zeldin. And indeed, how goes the healing?"

Zeldin was happy to see him. She didn't see the flowers at first, since the only light came from behind him and hid them in shadow.
When he set them down though, she grinned and leaned forward to give them a nudge and get a sniff.
"Oh, they're lovely. Thank you so much, Rosh. My wing is healing well, though I've been warned against flying any time soon... Where did you find these!?"

"Ahhh now that would be telling!" He says, in a joking tone. "But more seriously, there's a glade nearby, where the river creates a small, slow pool. It's often full of all sorts of flowers, from what I've seen. At least this time of year." He nods his head thoughtfully, and shrugged. "I haven't visited it in the winter or fall, so I can't say about then, but I suspect, like most places, it's not so floral that time of year."
"And I am glad to hear you are healing. I wouldn't expect you to go flying anytime soon, anymore then I'd expect the moon to come singing and dancing in the cave entrance. Wings are delicate things, and you don't want it tearing worse." He tilted his head. "But are you getting out of the cave? Talking walks, enjoying the sunshine? I hear sunlight is good for the health."

She nodded, "He's worried that I'll strain my good wing, or injure the bad one again even if I fly with my injured one folded, since the muscles are so close. These herbs he mixes together are just about magic though. I don't know how I would have slept for the first little while with all that pain," aside from pure exhaustion, naturaly.
"I've been walking around whenever I don't feel like sleeping any longer. I know where that glade is though, and I havn't been that far," she bent to smell the flowers again. "Would you... be willing to take a walk with me?"

He nodded as she spoke about why Chane felt she shouldn't fly, and smiled at her description of the herbs. "I am glad, so very glad to hear they are helping! I know how hard it can be to sleep with even a more minor injury, I'd hate to imagine one like that." He smiled, in a gently teasing way. "I had a feeling he could help you, I think I might have mentioned that..." His tone was fake-absent minded, pretending he couldn't remember.
When she suggested taking a walk, he gave a warm smile. "Absolutely. Did you wish to go to the glade, or somewhere else? I'd be happy to head there with you, or escort you somewhere else you might wish to go... I'm sure your mother, protective as she can be, has been keeping an eye on you during your injury..."

She giggled, "He's pretty good considering his breed. I wouldn't have guessed it just looking at him."
When he glanced away for a moment she stepped forward and gently bumped the underside of his muzzle with her nose.
"I would love to go down to the glade with you. The flowers you described sound like they're just what I need right now."

He smiled down at the mare, and nodded, happily. "Sun, a beautiful day, and fresh air... All good things for healing, so I've heard. Shall we, then?" He begins to move off, towards the glade in question, looking quite happy with the result of this discussion, his head held just so as to catch the wonderful warmth of the sun as he moved.
"Other then resting, how have you been occupying yourself, Zeldin? I can't imagine you're able to do as much as you might like, sadly, since flying is just not an option at the moment..." He turned his head to look at her besides him, his eyes warm. "I hope this has not been an overly boring time for you...?"
