Not wanting to take any chances of being blindsided, Aiden made sure to look over his shoulder more frequently this time. Additionally, Aiden finally got the ladder study to a angle and placement that he liked so that he could use it for later impact moves. Now a debate was stuck in his head. Does he slide out a wooden table from under the ring, or does he not slide out a wooden table. That was the question. Seeing Jake go into the ring though, Aiden figured that he might as well bake his decision fast. Which is exactly why Aiden decided to pull the apron cloth back and look around for a table while on one knee.

Dazed and confused, Jake arose to his feet in the ring after another extra effort was given to get back up. Once he caught his balance and wasn't so groggy, a table had snuck it's way into the ring. He was thinking about what he should do about the weaponry that surrounded him; no conclusions came. So with that said, Jake leaned against the turnbuckle, using every second he could to muster up a comeback. He awaited Aiden's request to join him in the squared circle once again.

Once the table was slid out all the way, Aiden re-covered the apron fabric and started to prop the table up. Aiden would step back since he would need to grip the table from the bottom, and he would do so in a rather hurried manner. Especially since Jake had already begun to stand up and catch a breath in the ring. Sliding the table inside the ring fully as it glided across the mat to it's eventual full stop, Aiden would slide in the ring right after the table from under the bottom rope.

And it took a bit of patience and selfishness to use the ropes for leverage, but as soon as Aiden stood up, table in front of his face or not, Roman would look to go for his favorite move. It was his bread-and-butter, his pride and joy, everything but his finisher. A surging Jake Roman would look to charge at his opponent and decapitate him with a running big boot to the head as soon as Aiden was about to stand himself.

Once slid into the ring, the only thing on Aiden's mind was getting that table set up. Well, that, and putting Jake through it. The match seemed to be in his favor however as a small boding of confidence had inspired Aiden to think that he'd pick up the win tonight. However, fate didn't work that way. As a matter of fact, fate, worked in mysterious ways. Which was true since the moment Aiden had managed to get up on his own two legs and find sturdiness, the feeling of the sole of Jake's boot had collided head-on with his cheek. Such a blow that had Aiden's eyes looking startled and shocked, only to crumble down to the mat and lay flat out on his back.

In a retort to Aiden exposing his strategy of hardcore weapons, Jake used his foot to slide the table back out of the ring. Poor Covell, all that extra time spent on bringing in a table and all it resulted in was a running boot to the face. After removing the table from the ring, the Kid went for a quick cover.

Unable to truly look around him since his eyes were closed while he aimed to recover from the big boot, Aiden was in a world of hurt. Sure, he had taken a big boot or two in his life. But it always hurt that much when there was a run added to it. The idea of a charging big boot compared to a stationary one was a huge difference. Aiden's facial expressions and current uncomfortable predicament told enough of that as is. Aiden heard the approach of footsteps and the sound of the wooden table being slid out of the ring due to the loud crash it made from the metal legs vibrating off the wooden canvas of the table upon impact. Aiden's leg was hooked for the pin, but he wasn't done yet. He'd do his best to fight out of it with a shrug of a shoulder or a kick of his leg.

                                  One! . . . Two! . . .

Two!

Maybe that extra second of kicking out the table cost him the early victory, but Jake knew it'd take a lot to keep Aiden down. Sure, Covell was cocky, but he had heart and wouldn't let moves he was accustomed to keep him down. Roman went to raise Covell up by his arm and chest, and if this went uninterrupted, he'd look to Irish whip his adversary into the set of ropes behind him, hoping that the high flyer would rebound his way and be sent to the mat by an AA Spinebuster!

Kickout. Thank.. god. None of them had hit any real signatures yet and Aiden still had enough in the tank to continue. It might not be a full tank by this point in the match, but it was enough. Loosely his body felt like hell as Aiden was lifted to his feet and his face looked like it was in pain. He was tossed to the nearest set of ropes, which was only about a long three-step stride, then ricocheted right back to Jake. Easily lifted in the air and dropped down for a huge impact spinebuster to give Jake the lead in the battle for momentum. Aiden's shoulders scrunched back as his back arched in further pain.

A quick attempt at another pin may have followed the typical routine of Jake, but no. This was the beginning of the end for Covell. Jake stood up and nodded to the crowd to their approval, before walking behind Aiden and waiting for him to stand, crouching with an anxiousness that could not be contained. This was the waiting game... time to see if Covell had the willpower to stand back up and potentially deal with a game changing manuever.

Physically, Aiden's body was pretty exhausted. Not fully, since this wasn't one of those matches that lasted what felt like ages. No. This was a typical weekly match that would most likely leave him sore afterwards. As any match a wrestler of his build would be sore after. However, he's fought in worse and was winded in several other matches. This match, was just well contested is all. Aiden's didn't notice any real indications of him being attacked or felt any stomps while he was on the ground, but he did notice Jake waiting for him to stand up. Most likely having something up his sleeve. Well in that case, Aiden would have to think of something quickly. However, until he knew what he was getting himself into, Aiden would slowly stand after pushing off of one knee to study his stance.

As Aiden got to one knee, Jake was ready to pull the trigger maybe a little too soon. But Roman was blind to any potential risks, because he had tunnel vision on his goal of making Aiden tap out. The Kid approached Aiden from behind, hoping that his incoming attempt of locking in his finishing submission, the Crossface Chicken Wing, would succeed in it's duty of ending this match.

Oh damn. Oh hell no. As soon as his arm was being grabbed and slid behind him, Aiden knew what he was getting into. The crossface was locked in tight and there Aiden was trying to fight out of it. His right arm was free, but all he could only do was hope to push his head from out of the hold. That, or something creative. Trying to kick Jake's feet out would only end up with them both on the mat and Aiden left with no advantage options. Keeping themselves standing is what seemed like the only choice he had. Seeing as it was a hardcore match and there was no disqualification, Aiden played to his instincts and attempted to kick back with a low blow.

Once his privacy was invaded (more like kicked into his stomach), the hold was released. Talk about taking time to heal some injuries; Jake's back was on the mat but he was curdled into the fetal position, protecting his package so no more foul play could be done to them. That, and to feel and see if they were still there afterwards. Yup, still there. But that didn't stop the pain that had flushed his body instantaneously from Covell's sneaky escape.

Welp, that worked. Much to the dismay of Jake and the outpour of boos from the crowd, Aiden's low blow made direct contact. The hold loosened and now Aiden was free to catch a breather and allow himself a chance to stretch out and pop any necessary joints and loosen his muscles that way he wasn't in that much of a sore state. Heading over towards the farthest turnbuckle from Jake, Aiden did just that in the means of stretches and leaning against the ropes that way he could slow down his heartbeat to a much more calmer pulse.
