When the grey-ish Green Wraik attacked her sister, Cataya shrieked, at an incredibly high pitched level, in PURE rage and flew at her, her small body angled to come at the Wraik's head from behind. After all, the creature was tangled up in Thala, and she grabbed for that head, her small but very sharp claws trying to rend and tear. The Baron had paused when he realized what, precisely, was going on, and frowned. He didn't know the purple Winiko, but he DID know that Lil'Cat called her sister, and... Well she was a Winiko being assaulted by two Wraiks, And Lil'Cat was, in his estimation, far too small to be of much use. He thought for another moment, then charged forwards, aiming for the purple and red Wraik with his cane. He clearly knew how to use it, and it wasn't wood... It was enameled metal, other then the bone skull.

Abeytu wasn't that worried about say, cutting and running, so much as just not being overwhelmed. Finish one foe, draw the rest in...keep from dealing with too many at once, which could quickly become troublesome.
Like when the green, screeching blur flew into the side of her head like a kamikaze sparrow. Rather than allowing it to dislodge her hold, she sank her claws and teeth in deeper, holding firm while Dylara went for a critical blow. Still, the tiny pest was causing her normal calm to splinter. She arched her back, her long tail cracking like a whip to try and swat the little green bug away from her head. Whatever it took to dislodge her. Even her wings flailed at the attacker, the Wraik tossing her head without unclenching her jaws. Maybe the little thing would impale herself on her horns.

Thalassa barely noticed Cataya blur past her, she was too busy trying to dislodge Abeytu. Her inexperience in battles of any sort showed, as she thus forgot about the Wraik who was in front of her, and it was only by virtue of her frantic shaking and flailing that Dylara's claws tore into her shoulder instead of her neck. Still, the damage and pain of the attacks were causing her tired and sore limbs to buckle, and before she knew it she was on the ground. Dylara saw the purple Winiko's muscles give out as she crumpled to the ground, bleeding from multiple wounds. She grinned with evil malice and was in mid-pounce towards Thalassa for a finishing blow to her skull when something heavy cracked into her own head, causing her to be knocked aside and to the ground herself from the force. She lay in a crumpled heap of her own, the elder's Winiko's strength and experience wielding the cane effectively taking her out of the fight in one fell swoop.

Raik cackled in glee when the dark form attacked. Somebody who wanted to wrestle! WOOHOO!
It suddenly became clear after receiving several slices across his flank that this wasn't wrestling. At least not claws-in, lips-over-teeth wrestling. Oooooooooooo, Raik was excited. He hadn't had a slice-and-dice wrestle/fight since... before his human vanished from the world, maybe? (She'd come back after a few years, though) Before he'd found out that most Wini do NOT like slice-and-dice playing.
Of course, now that he knew it wasn't safe-playing, Raik unsheathed his claws and bared his sharp teeth. His entire manner changed from "awkward child pouncing for fun" to "competent adult pouncing lunging at an opponent". It was a little disconcerting seeing the abrupt change from wrestling to fighting.
"YEAH! WOO! A real fight! Thanks, stranger! I've been wanting to fight for a long, long time!" he grunted as he fought.
Then the black form said something odd. 'Traitor'? 'Turning on his own kind'? What was that about?
Annoyed that he was confused, Raik moved in on the shadowy form. Instead of letting its tendrils do the work, Raik closed the distance, moving to grapple. He contacted the main body and began raking with his claws, teeth locking onto the ruff around its neck. He managed to land a few gores (he couldn't tell how deep they were; he was a bit busy. One was definitely only a shallow graze, though) on the neck with his horns.
"What're you talking about?!" he snarled, fighting in earnest now. "Waddaya mean 'traitor'?! Who've I betrayed?!"
Of course, Raik had sustained many wounds, several a bit deep. This made him more annoyed because he hadn't landed any really good ones quite yet. Impetua heard Raik cackling faintly in the distance. She rolled her eyes. He was probably fighting or wrestling with somebody if he was making that much noise. There were a few shrieks of rage, but it was probably from innocent bystanders who hadn't wanted to be pounced on. She kept following the trail of eggs. They had to find the Easter Meiko. At least, Imp did. If she didn't, she would never hear the end of it from Raik-- he would forever be whining about how he missed out on candy.

CatCat snarled in fury, an odd sound from the normally happy and bouncy little Wini. The head tossing didn't work, she had a good grip on the skin of the Wraik's head. The tail cracks DID hit some, which hurt, though a few missed, and might even have landed on the Wraik's own body. However, the swats didn't discourage CatCat. Instead, she got madder, and she pulled herself up higher, then reached down, scratching and trying to slice at the eyes of the wraik under her.
For once, maybe, being small was an advantage. "Dat'll teach yah to gang up on one lil'gal, ya'hear?" The Baron snapped as he moved past Dylara, though not blocking his view of her. He was prepared to help Lil'Cat, and her sister, but he was going to wait for a moment where he didn't risk braining them, and he wanted to be sure that the Wraik he HAD brained didn't recover and get back into the fight, from behind him.

Leilani had been silently listening as the other winiko had first thought of looking for clue's. she had looked around a bit but had not found anything worth mentioning. When Impetua found the trail of eggs, and thegroup of winiko started following it into the woods Leilani considered for a moment. She really wanted to follow the rest and look for/help the easter meiko, but she was supposed to keep an eye on Fawn. Looking back she suddenly noticed that Dyani had arrived. That meant she could go!!
Seeing the last of the wini's dissapear into the shadows of the forest she quikly ran after them and caught up with Morty. "Does anyone know the Layout of this forrest? if we do we might be able to figure out what possible places the Wraiks could use to hide the Meiko" as she talked she almost stepped on one of the colourfull eggs. She clumsily sidestepped it, and started paying more attention both to the trail, AND to the surrounding forrest. A big smile had just been forming on Fawns face as Thane seemed to agree to be her friend "Fawn like make frie...." she suddenly heared a familiar voice call out her name, as she looked in the direction of the sound she had only a second left to leap out of her brothers way "MOKI!!!" she cuddle pounced her brother, and then looked up at Thane "Moki is brother" she nodded to herself.
She then tried to explain to Moki "Thane telling fairytale story, and story is really happening now story, very fun" she bounced up and down excitedly. Fawn saw Dyani approching and smiled up at her hoping for a cuddle "Hi mommy, I was go looking at flowers with LeiLei, and now Thane is friend!"
As she talked to Dyani she noticed the wini's had left the clearing, she imidiately got alarmed "Thane! the story went all gone." just as she finished saying this the loud fighting noises began to erupt from the forest edge not to far away. "Whats that?" without realising the danger Fawn started inching closer to the sound, this had to be part of the thrilling story Thane was telling!

Uaithne Uaithne had one paw around the little one pulling her back to him, his other paw had somehow found its way to act as a pillow of sorts for her brother. He inclined his head to their mother, "My pleasure ma'am. I am Uaithne. Your little girl has been quite the source of amusement. Trying to distract her has taught me a few things." he heard Fawn's question and quickly came up with an answer, "The good guys are fighting the baddies. Of course like with every great story. They're winning."He was a tad nervous as their mother was...bigger than him. So, he didn't want to say something the female didn't like... [[OOC: XD Sorry if it seems jumbled.]]

A dark Wraik struts into the path ahead of you. Gloating drips off him as he laughs at you. “You silly Winiko are pathetic in your puny attempts to find your long-eared Meiko," he cackles. " You’ll never get her back.” His body fades from view as his words die in the air.“Your fluffy friend will be turned to the dark side!”
Another voice, owner unseen, whispers, “Your pretty holiday is now ours. It’ll become dark and twisted.” If you have a Wraik that wants to throw a few taunts (or start trouble as some of you already have), you’re welcome to RP them as one of the minions. If you plan to have your Wraik attack a Winiko (and vice versa), please work it out with the other owner before hand so there are no unwelcome surprises. Remember to play nice with others and keep it PG13.
The Wraiks couldn’t help themselves. They had to boast about their victory over the Winiko. In doing so though, they left clues behind on where they’d taken the Easter Meiko.
(There are no right or wrong choices. Just RP and have fun! Throw out any clues you want to make up to find the Easter Meiko. Follow the trail and see what you turn up!)

[OOC: I waited 2 days; I canna take it anymore! gonk ] Impetua skid to a halt as a fiery Wraik appeared in their path. He taunted the group about finding the Easter Meiko, then ended it with a threat to turn the Easter Meiko "to the dark side". Imp laid her ears back-- if they made the Meiko "dark", then she probably wouldn't be giving out any more candy. Meaning that Raik would never get his candy. Then Imp would have to listen to him whine about it for the rest of forever. Imp hissed and swiped at the Wraik just as he vanished. Naturally, he was gone by the time her paw got to him.
Well that was great, just great. Now it was a race against time. They had to find the Meiko before she was turned or whatever. Imp swore under her breath a few times before turning to her companions, "Looks like we need to pick up the pace. We need to find the Meiko before the Wraik turn her." [OOC: If nobody else can come up with any clues for us to find, I can probably think of some.]

For a moment Leilani did not notice when Impetua stopped walikng, and she almost bumped up againast her. she was just about to ask the dark Wini what was wrong when the suddenly appeared Wraik started talking.
Not having expected his voice Leilani almost jumped when it came our of nowhere. The wraiks words were menacing, and they slightly frightened Leilani. "so much for being brave on this rescue mission" she thought to herself.
The wraik dissapeared again just as Impetua had tried to smack it. Leilani nodded at her words "I completely agree, we have to hurry" She quickly scanned the foresty surroundings. for a moment nothing seemed to stand out, until she noticed on the right side of the path a bit in front of the group.... "Look there!" She pointed at the spot, where an almost invisible path of broken and bend branches and twigs led off the path they were following "Maybe that is the way they went? the branches could have broken as they struggled the Meiko though the bushes" she waited for a response from the others on what to do next.

"Glad to see another friendly face." He said as Leilani joined the group. He began to lag behind the group, constantly getting distracted by any movement along the path. It was unintentional but he soon found himself far behind the group. He jogged to catch up with them and in time to hear Impetua and Leilani suggest they hurry. He had just missed the entrance and exit of the wraik. He would have to keep his eyes peeled in case anything were to happen to the group. "hmmm. That's quite peculiar. Are there easter eggs this way too, or perhaps egg shells?" He said in response to Leilani's suggestion. "My name's Koko!" He said happily. He almost stumbled over the striped and horned egg in front of him. Whispers reached his ears to take it to the Easter Meiko. He assumed this was where their mission was leading them to. He wasn't present for the kidnapping, but happily agreed to go on the adventure. "Did you hear that?" Koko asked Takuto. Koko picked up the egg anyways, it might have served good purpose at the end of their adventure.

Tiburon had been hanging out deep in the woods during most of the excitement, along the general direction of the escape route. The rest of the gang had gone past him already with the Meiko and he was merely waiting for any Winiko who might be following. He was rather laid back most of the time, and he yawned a little as he enjoyed the scenery during his wait. But that didn't mean he wasn't aware of his surroundings, and he eventually heard voices heading his way. He sniffed the air a little and a smile flowed across his face. "About time," he murmurs softly to himself and his shark tail sways as he steps out from his hiding place, boldly putting himself in the path made by the rest of his fleeing gang. He doesn't even bother to hide, a rakish grin adorning his features as he merely waits for them to near his position, yellow eyes glowing in anticipation.

Dyani chuckled softly, leaning down in response to her daughter's unspoken plea and nuzzling her head fondly. When the scene behind began to draw her attention again, she subtly shifted her reclining position to extend a large paw between her daughter and the action in the distance. "Of course, dear, you have to wait until the end of the story to find out what happens," she coaxed, glancing towards the orange mini for confirmation.
"A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Uaithne. And thank you for keeping an extra trio of eyes on my wayward children." While a tad nervous herself, she was more concerned with the events unfolding at a distance than by the conversation with another Wini here and now. And to think, once she would have found that more terrifying. It never crossed her mind that, even with her new form, anyone would find her imposing.
Moki had somehow ended up flopped comfortably on his back, head on the orange mini's paw, and swatting idly at the green scarf that hung around his neck. He'd actually been completely distracted for a time, only now looking back as his sister commented that the 'story had moved away'. Rolling partway over, onto his side this time, he looked up. "What's what?" he asked Fawn, curious. How could a story be gone? It was still somewhere, wasn't it? Maybe not here, but somewhere?
