Feytouched blinked as a paintbrush was shoved into his hand, along with paint. He had to... paint the flowers? Huh. Well, he'd heard stranger things from his father. Making a face, he walked forward and stretched out his hand to paint one, instead getting slapped in the face by a thorny vine. That was uncalled for. Stepping back and wiping blood from his face, Feytouched grimaced and pointed his paintbrush at the rose, proceeding to heal himself for the damage that was dealt. He would paint the roses, no matter how insane the actual act seemed. Using his abilities to the best of his knowledge, Feytouched moved and attacked and nearly took out the rose in one hit, watching as it swayed and moved, still attempting to limp towards him. One more hit should do it. Apparently his abilities decided to go against his wishes, and defended him, as well as healed. Such was the life of a hatter. His skills replied and he offed the rose with ease, glancing back to the guards with a cross expression. They didn't say anything, but looked at each other with disappointment. Would the Queen have their heads for this? They weren't going to say anything to the hatter. Hatters were crazy enough as it was. Where were these things coming from? Another one whipped out its vine and attacked him, leaving a gash on his ankle. The hatter hissed, leaping back and ready to attack. And with the second and final swipe, the rose was dead. Sighing at the paint bucket still in his hands, Feytouched hoped there was a rose that wasn't alive and deadly to paint. The second one didn't attack him either, so Feytouched figured it was safe to paint. He smiled as he gave the petals a flourish, and twirled to the third and final rose, hoping it wasn't aggressive.
