Never Again...Herald grinned. "We don't need portals to get out of here," he told her. "In fact, I think it would be more fun to destroy this mansion entirely. Then we'll be outside it. Two birds with one stone." He looked towards the door before looking back at her. "Where were you?" He asked curiously, wondering why he hadn't been able to sense her wavelength. ☽"I don't think it would be that easy..." Emma muttered. When asked where she was, Emma glanced up at Herald "I was trying to get back but I got lost. I ended up in a garden. There were statues everywhere that looked pretty weird. Then I saw scale marks around their necks and fang bites. Natte has a certain way of torturing people before turning them to stone and that was it. That was when I knew we were in deep sh*t and went to go find you. I used the air vents and made sure I took a mirror from one of the bathrooms with me when I was trying to get back to the room. I found you two then." she told him. ☾

Never Again...Herald nodded. "It's good you came when you did," he told her. He turned towards the door and began walking towards it. "I don't know how much they've calculated how strong we are..." He looked back at her. "But they couldn't have accounted for your new form since I'm the only one who's ever seen it." He turned to face the door again. "Let's save that until we need it. But I doubt we'll be able to leave this city without a fight, so let's bring it to them instead. Let's find the guy who's in charge of this place and kill him." Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald looked back at Emma when she asked about what was in his pocket. He reached into it and pulled out her folder, tossing it at her feet. He noticed she was still kneeling and remembered what she had said earlier about her neck. "Are you okay?" He asked, turning to face her fully. Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma stood up and looked at the file. Her face darkened and turned a bit paler as she stared at it. "I've been better..." she replied. She didn't want to admit it, but she was pretty disturbed and frightened by the ordeal they were in. She never wanted to deal with this again. So many 'what ifs' went through her head about what may happen. ☾

☽ Emma stared at the ground "My friend, V was really strong. He was a kishin and it was obvious he was the strongest of all of us. But then... Blitz was able to take him down in a matter of seconds. All I could do was watch." she said. "I am afraid that something might happen... like I will end up back in chains... or you might end up being tortured or killed." she admitted "So I don't know what to do. Defeating them is the only way to get out of here... but I don't know how strong they are now or a good way of defeating them..." ☾

I'm not worried about being tortured or killed and I promise I won't let you end up back in chains. Don't worry, we'll make Blitz pay for what he did and then some." Will I be bound in chains

She moved closer to Herald and rested her head against him, closing her eyes for a moment or two and thinking to herself. After another few moments, she nodded "Alright." she said before stepping back and smiling slightly up at Herald. ☾

Never Again...Herald returned Emma's smile before he turned back towards the door and began walking towards it. Without slowing he kicked out, sending the door flying straight off its hinges and into the room beyond. "Let's find Natalie and this Blitz guy. The sooner we kill those two the sooner we can go home."Will I be bound in chains

☽ Emma walked out of the room as well "Natte said we were invited to dinner... I think that is where we should look first... a dining hall or something." she told Herald. Her ears twitched. She didn't here anything. Part of her suspected that the guards were just for show and nothing else. She began walking then down one of the halls. ☾
