Xander held out a fresh piece of bait to the Psyduck. He waited then smiled when the water fowl started to waddle towards him.

Capture: Success!
His smile grew wider when the Psyduck did indeed waddle all the way over to him. He gave it the bait and pat it's head. It sure wasn't a fish but that was fine.
[Exiting to snowball fight!]

NaomiNaomi Your name: NaomiNaomi Bait/Try #: 3/3.
Daffodil stuck the rod in the snow and left it stand. Walking away, she let it be because she was positive the random number generator would not give her the twelve required to run into the Carvanha. rofl didn't see this post; extra bait awarded. Carvanha is the only one left!

Lennyka peered into the hole already cut through the ice. Lowering the line of her rod into the water, she waited to see if she'd catch anything.

Suddenly, Lennyka started to have an existential crisis. What is fueling me to return to this lake? she asked herself. I could be back in the cabin sipping hot cocoa by a fire, not freezing my a** off while waiting for something to nibble my line. What's wrong with me?

Lennyka didn't dwell on the question for long. Finally, the random number generator gave her a twelve, so it ICly meant the Carvanha was nibbling at her line. She hastily clasped her hands about the rod and pulled with hopes of snagging it. To her great surprise, even the three dice didn't give her a six, which meant the fish was hers. The dual Water and Dark-type plopped onto ice and flopped about uselessly.
"Heck yea!" Lennyka cheered with a fist pump. "You're mine!"
The Rocket plucked a Pokeball from her hip chain and held it out to the fish. "Okay, into the ball you go," she commanded. The fish blinked at her twice before figuring the offered member was food and daintily sunk her teeth over the length of Lennyka's arm. The teal-haired woman screamed. Loud.
"Ah, crud, g-get off!" she bellowed, flailing her arm about. "Get off, get off, get off!" The fish only chomped down harder in glee. "Ow, ow, ow, ow!" Recalling she still had movement of her hand, she pressed the button on the Pokeball in the bottom of the fish's stomach and withdrew her. Sighing miserably, Lennyka chagrined at her luck.
