Meadow had wandered around by herself for some time, enjoying seeing the other ponies enjoy themselves. She giggled to herself when she caught sight of one of the cupid's "arrows" fly off in Forest and Shadow's direction. Scanning the crowd she happened to see another unicorn coming over to see the presents. So many ponies had been kind to welcome her, so why not extend the generosity. "Hello!" she addressed digi. "The gifts are for anypony, the apple family made an announcement earlier, if you weren't here for it. One for everyone."

Nine had given a glance over his shoulder at the comment, nodding a quick "Yes of course!" He was happy to be welcomed back after such an accident. Though he took careful steps, not too sure where that caution of a spell might come into play. He'd be likely to land on his face if he wasn't careful. Furthermore the green pegasus with a cute little new addition to the family made him smile to hear that he would help. "Y-yes I mean, I run a shelter, actually. I see lots of kittens come in as surprise presents... So many ponies just don't know where to start." He sympathized. "I haven't seen any cats in Cloudsdale... I heard of some upper-class ponies getting magical collars, but I've also heard sometimes the little guys get nervous from the height." he chuckled a little, watching the kitten wiggle and look around, curious as ever. Kittens were some of the best to watch too, so clumsy and unsure of their bodies. "When the party is over I'd be happy to fly some supplies over, and get you set up with some vets... Oh, that is, if you want to keep him."

Asch turns the handle on the little music box and smiles as it starts to play. His eyes lit up at the tune. He smiles softly, "This is the song Dad sings to Mom..." He smiles and starts to hum along, not noticeing he begins to sing getting louder as he goes, as more emotion enters his voice. Before long, he is really getting into the song.

Trot glanced over at the pegasus that had taken the kitten and spotted the other pegasus that had broken the mirror talking. Oh...that was good. His cutie mark was a cat...or was it a nine?...either way, the kitten looked to be in good hooves. Her mild concern gone, she glanced back at Gyspy with an embarrassed smile.

"Your company is more than enough, but if you want to give it to me, it would be rather rude not to take it, wouldn't it? And it is very pretty," she added, admiring the color of the pendant. The necklace she'd pulled from her box was pretty as well, of course, but there was no harm in having to necklaces...right?

"Oh...I'm sure it's nothing," she said as she lifted the one she'd opened. "It...hm, that's odd," she said with a little frown, leaning in a bit closer. Hadn't the stone been an opal just moments before? Now it was red, like a ruby. Still very smooth like the opal had been, but the changing colors were gone. As she watched, the stone slowly changed from red to a rather ugly yellow color. Wrinkling her nose, she pulled away, and the stone changed to a deep, deep purple.

"What is this? Changing colors like...oh!" Her ears perked up instantly. "It must be a very...very fancy mood stone. I've read about these, but I've never seen them. The color changes depending on what you're feeling at that moment. I didn't think they could be this big...maybe that's why it feels funny," she said, lifting her head to look at Gypsy again. "It must need a bit of magic to work so quickly. Usually they're just tiny things, just enough for an earring or something like that."

Digi looked up with a weak smile," Hello, thank you for telling me." standing up an walking over to the table. Then levitated a present to himself, opening it he smiled again, a little warmer this time. He then levitated two cupcakes out of the box, "would you like one", he asked. then setting the box down next to him,"my name is Digital Scratch, but you can call me Digi, its very nice to meet you".

Asch blushes and rubs the back of his head, "Oh... Uhm... Th-thank you" He chuckles slightly, "W-whenever I hear a good song I just can't help it..."

Trot tilted her head as Gypsy reacted oddly to the necklace but, not wanting to ruffle his feathers any more than they already were, didn't comment on it. She tucked her necklace and the one she'd given him into her box and slid it with her hoof under the table for safe keeping. Surely no one would take a present that was already open.

"To the dance floor, then," she said with a grin. She'd freaked this guy out enough today, it was the least she could do. 'We'll leave these here...dancing in necklaces like that can only lead to trouble." The large gemstones on both of the necklaces would only swing around and probably hurt one of them in the process. She gave her head a little nod in the direction of the dance floor before heading off - it sounded like one last song was starting up. Perfect timing!
