"N-No, really. They said i needed to get 'out of the house' more." He admitted to Xander, figuring that the other would understand that the higher ups had kicked him out of base for a while. He didn't want to say it out loud in case someone over heard them. He wondered why Xander was here. Hearing Xander Viper shifted and poked her head out of Jack's shirt and flicked her tongue out to greet the blond before going back to her spot in the teen's shirt.

Arissa turned to look at the trainer who'd addressed her and smiled back. "Sure, go right ahead! There's plenty of room," she said, nodding to the seat beside her. Ronen turned to see where his trainer was looking. When he found she was talking to someone new he trilled and waved at Sunny. "Looks like Ronen is happy to have you sit by us, too," Arissa commented, glancing fondly at her Togepi.

Lennyka turned around to the tap with a cordial smile, but was so taken off guard by the question ejected toward her being she had to take a moment to consider it. "W-Well..." she began, going over the question in her head while reflexively touching a hand upon her glasses in thought. "I believe... in equal rights for both genders and, considering some of the problems women face, y-yes? Yes, I am a feminist?" She wouldn't deny it, though how she advocated for anything usually left her at the borderline between yes and no. "Is that fine?"

Remmy look up at the old man and nodded his head. He look around and saw someone that he knew. He ran up to her and took his seat next to her. He look up at her and showed off his Teddiursa. He then said "HEY Cara! This is my Teddiursa Pooh!" Pooh was still asleep and drool was still coming from his mouth.

Rao's eyes quickly widened at the woman's admittance to being a feminist. But she claimed to want equal rights for both genders, was she really a feminist? Feminists usually wanted the removal of all men. Something was wrong. She might be under feminist mind control. He had to make sure. "Are you under feminist mind control?"

Merrik watched as a weird sleigh came towards the group, and again he scouted the various entrances and exits. He mentally counted the steps and figured out which way would be best. Then he concentrated on the individual that arrived. He was about to step forward when he heard someone talk about feminists, and some mind control. " Is he okay? Is he okay?" He asked himself as he watched the events unfold. " I wonder what Big Brother would think of this strange fellow." Merrick counted his items, then again once more to make certain, the second time he payed superb attention to everything. (( Feel free to quote me to interact, but my replies may be a bit slow tomorrow. ))

Lennyka mentally grimaced. This is unpleasant, she thought as she again tried to muster up a polite smile to Rao. "Is... Is that even possible?" she wondered aloud. Well, of course it was considering Pokemon's psychic abilities, but she sure wasn't a victim of such brainwashing. "No, I don't think so? Um, j-just a question... Have you... Have you been reading too much comic books? Manga? Maybe anime? That sounds like something... out of one of those things..."

[[I laughed more than I should have at the unpleasant remark when paired with Lennyka's disguise.]]
Rao shook his head. "They say life imitates art, like two gym socks and seven silverfish. You know what I'm talking about, right? IT doesn't matter, though. Anyway, my name's Rao, and you don't seem to be a feminist, so we can be allies."

"What? Lennyka blinked, her mouth drawn to a thin, long line. The metaphor went waaay over her head, and so did Rao's reasoning. Allies against what? she thought, but shook her head. This man was a mystery wrapped in an enigma. There was no use questioning... anything. "I- Sure? If you want to hang out together, I'm game. Oh, I'm... Uh..." Her eyes darted around. She hadn't come up with an alias before leaving the base and hastily tried to think up with something on the spot. Her grey eyes shot from trees, the snow, passengers' Pokemon, so even her own body to hopefully come up with something. "I'm sle- Slee... Selene! I'm Selene. Hi, Rao."
Daffodil hiccuped while on Len's lap. Were they going to be leaving yet?

Vincent had never been a fan of waiting. Now that he had arrived early with no one familiar around, he was not quite sure what to do with himself. Some interesting people with interesting Pokemon passed by here and there. For the most part, however, he was content to sit in the sun and watch. He had the rest of the event ahead of him. He could introduce himself to the cool members of the group later! He crossed his arms and leaned back. Sitting here like this might have even been relaxing were it not for the cold… and that HUGE houndoom racing right towards him!
He was taken completely off guard. Thus, he did not have time to dodge. Unceremoniously, he yelped as Farvardin jumped on him. While he definitely liked Pokemon better than people, he did not like them standing on him… and licking him suddenly! Where did this thing even come from, anyways? Hotaru watched his trainer with an amused expression but did not intervene to help. Now he would know what it felt like to be Tackled!
For a moment, Vince was not sure what to do. Thankfully, the mutt’s apparent owner came to the rescue. When the dark type withdrew, he gruffly brushed himself off. “It’s fine! She just got over excited, right?” he replied without even looking up. Some weirdo with a sleigh and dragonite had pulled up and was asking for assistance with it. Why have the dragon pull the thing if it couldn’t handle a round trip? He was certainly not volunteering his only companion for free manual labor. If they could not ride to the cabin, his Volcarona could always fly!
Finally, he glanced over to Alexa. “Thank you! His name is Hotaru and he’s just as impressive when he battles! He can be a handful sometimes, but we’ve been buddies since he was an egg so we manage. Nice to meet you!” He smiled at first, but his expression melted into a slight frown when she mentioned specializing in fire. “My name is Vince Arkwright… I’m a bug catcher.” It was just his luck to run into one of his natural enemies right off the bat!

Ooh god no. Lex frowned, lips tight as he heard Rao, like he could forget the man. Crazy, unpleasant, and he hope to luck that he wasn't remembered. Ughh.
And why did you bring a sled that large with out relief pokemon? Really? Outside of his Gyarados, who was not the best train and would likely attempt to bite anyone near here, his pokemon was on the small side. Hollin was not pulling a sled. Powder puff would be blown away.
He approached the sled, ready to climb aboard and hoping not to get noticed.

Willa watched the conversation between a strange man (Rao, was it?) and the trainer of the Raichu she met earlier. Selena was her name, apparently?
Whatever. Willa shifted all her attention from the people hitching their pokemon to the sleigh and boarding to those two and listened with an amused grin on her face. As she did this she opened up her suitcase to take out a needle and some thread to patch up her coat. She always had these things handy because of Baratro's Rough Skin ability. It's great and all, but it's a real pain in the rear because the Sharpedo really enjoys getting hugs and being petted.
Not only that, she was getting really cold. Willa pulled out another shirt and slipped it on and buttoned it up before she continued to mend her coat together. Good thing no one sat next to her; she could use that space for her suitcase for now.

Alice stared with a feeling of mixed emotions. She...doesn't know what to make of sleigh. She picked up Shimmer and went up to the sleigh, stopping besides the dragonite. "Hello, Dragonite," she said as she reached her hand out show that she was friendly.

Merrick slowly absorbed the conversation. He then precariously worked his way towards the sleigh and found a suitable spot to sit. Before he could sit, he habitually pulled out a cloth to wipe the seat, methodically cleaning the section he would sit. After the area was wiped down, he glanced around furtively before he took his seat, quietly mumbling to himself, " Always clean for Big Brother, Always clean." He glanced around, again mentally noting the surroundings. Satisfied with his placement, he went back to listening to the strange man about the feminists.

Christina stood around with the rest of the crowd when a worn out Dragonite came into view and eventually stopped infront of them. Her eyes slowly left the horrid view of the Dragonite and followed the harness that was attached to what it seem like a gigantic sleigh! From the looks of it, it seemed very expensive and heavy! Not giving the slighest attention towards the oversized sleigh, she ran over to the poor Pokemon with a lot of concern. Who in their right mind would make this poor thing drag that piece of **** all the way to here? Let alone the distance she had to travel! "You poor soul," she said as she touched and rubbed the tired out wings of the Dragonite with her bright yellow gloves. They were just not as big and strong as a Charizard's. Christina gritted her teeth when she saw the man who was on the sleigh mere minutes ago, now standing there demanding other trainers to sacrifice their own pokemon to pull the heavy sleigh. "You should of thought about this before you took off," snapping at him underneath her breath so that no one could hear. She took out her pokeball and threw it towards the already harnassed pokemon. "Come on out Kiwi." The Deerling appeared and stood infront of the Dragonite, Sharkpedo, and fullgrown Sawsbuck. "Just as I thought. This won't do at all," and she walked over to the Captain and tapped him on his shoulder. "Excuse me, but I think my Deerling is just too small to help out at all. Look at their size differences. If he gets harnassed his hooves won't even touch the ground," she said as she pointed her finger towards her own sparkly well groomed pokemon. It's not like Kiwi would ever agree to help out since this sleigh pulling requires physical exercise and sweating...
