Astrix grin became wider and filled with glee. Number one rule in being a cool girl is try to contain your smiles. She would sometime forget but whatever, Astrix is cool no matter what. Viktoria looked at him and smiled a bit. "Maybe i missed you, maybe i didnt." she told him as she nibbled on some food, not really in the mood to eat. She set her fork down and grabbed her goblet before curling up against him. He had been there for her when her parents died and thats why she opened up to him.
Tobias chuckled as she curled up against him and he put his arm around her. "Don't lie, I know you did." he told her. He and Viktoria had been friends since their first year at Hogwarts when they met on the train. In their second year, when she lost her parents, he had been her shoulder to cry on. He comforted her in her time of need and he was still there for her when she needed him. He knew she suffered from depression at times but he tried to keep a smile on her face. He would always be there for her, even if she never returned the feelings he felt for her. "Ready for another year of fun?"

Viktoria let out a laughed and looked up at him. "I doubt it will be fun." she told him as she sat up and looked at her now empty cup. "Are you ready for Quidditch this year?" she asked him as she turned to him again.
"Of course," Tobias said in reply to her question, smiling. "I've been practicing all summer. I have a feeling we'll win the cup this year." Quidditch was an obsession of his, something he had loved since he was young thanks to his father. He had been on the team since his second year and hoped he could be captain for his final year.

Viktoria looked at him. "No pressure on the seeker." she teased. She had been seeker for the last four years and was only able to lead their team to the final game once. And she had received a concussion for them to win. She leaned against him again and chewed on a strawberry creme cracker.
Tobias chuckled and grabbed a cracker as well. "We should have our own practice, just the two of us." he told her. "Like tonight or something, since it's the first night back and all."

"Tobias Baker." she said, smiling, "Are you asking me out on a date?" she looked at him as she smiled, waiting for an answer. It was sweet how he acted sometimes.
Tobias cheeks turned a dark red at her question. "No, I mean, it wasn't meant to be..." he said, quite flustered and rubbing the back of his neck. A couple years ago, he had started developing a crush on Viktoria and though she had never showed interest in him, there were still some feelings there for her. His suggestion was not meant to sound like a request for a date but it seemed to have come off that way.

Viktoria stood and smiled as she looked at him. "Come on." she told him, "I could go for a ride now." she walked out of the great hall with him and took a deep breath.
Tobias' cheeks were still red when she stood, telling him she'd like to go for a ride now. He stood as well and left the hall with her, smiling. He wondered if this really did count as a date or if she had just been kidding about the whole thing. They liked to tease each other a lot so it wouldn't surprise him.
