"Yeah, and I respect his, which means I'm not inflicting my presence on him," Alex said, and then he looked back at the back of the couch. "Given that I have your keys now, it's a little pointless, eh?"
Gabriel happily booped his nose against Arsenic's, and she let out a very happy purr. "Don't judge, Des, you gave her to me," he pointed out, laughing.

"He probably wants you there though. You know he'd behave around you right?" Des just snorted and rolled his eyes. Maybe it was time to get a security system. Let's see Alex get in then. "Yes, but I had no idea the reaction it would cause. ..That's fine Alex pretty much did the same thing." Then he threw his hands up, getting a started look from Arsenic, and two swats from the boys on either side of him "Ow! Hey. I was just going to ask if we were starting this thing. I wasn't trying to scare the fur ball."

"Let's start, then," Alex said, but somebody else is gonna have to get up, given the whole I-can't-walk issue." The blue-haired man laughed, dropping his head into Des's lap without a second thought.
"I got this," Gabriel said, setting Arsenic on Alex's chest and standing up to put in and start the first movie. He avoided commenting on how close he was to his boyfriend, and instead tucked himself on Des's other side and rested his head on his chest.

"And here I was going to make you do it.." Des replied flatly. "Thank you captain obvious. What would we do without you?" He blinked almost stupidly when Alex set his head in his lap, and then again when Gabriel didn't say anything.

Alex flashed both of his companions a smile, fluffing Arsenic's fur and setting the kitten to purring happily.
God, this was nice.
Gabriel reached over to pet his cat, only half paying attention to what was on the screen. It was actually really nice to see Alex smiling, even if he had gotten himself hurt. It did wonders to assuage his guilt over what had happened to Cait - at least for the moment.
