Volpeo Grinned, Milla had not changed once single bit since he left. The tittle of the elder who controlled time was not in vain.
Finally, after a cheerful greeting, Volpeo remembers to give the elder her waist back.
"Well, it's actually not that different. I didn't like the human world, neighter the netherworld because of the hunt
of out kind. Yet, we found a lovely realm, pretty similar to this one. Yet we don't have a three but a mountain. But one day we
were attacked by an evil force and I was forced to drive it away, sealing the entrance to the realm so no one may enter."
Replied volpeo with a saddened look.
"I miss my wife and child, wish they could meet you, you would had loved Myrna."

Volpeo grinned while holding onto her shoulders with his hands.
"Oh Elder, you make it sound as if they were dead. They are just fine... what worries me is that evil. I know she's trying to break in once more. She's not strong enough to take on you, otherwise she might had tried to invade this place instead. While my powers are enough to seal her away from my home I do not have the strength to walk back. I can't even communicate with mirrors. It needs someone stronger than me to be able to contact the..."
Volpeo would then fluster lightly while looking away from the elder.
"So... I was thinking... maybe you could let me call them just to let them know I am okay.."

Volpeo grinned mischievously as the Milla claimed to be able to create a quick call.
"Well I figured if someone was capable of contacting my family that would be you Elder."
Guilty of charges the kitsune accepts the offer.
"It is a shame that you cannot leave, yet is a relieve, that way she won't try breaking in as long as you are here. But, being that the case. It would mean I still have to deal with her by myself."

"It's alright Elder."
Volpeo replied while turning over to the flower in Milla's head. He had to find a way to "distract" the attention from being pranked by Milla once she said they could develop said technology in about 100 years.
"Anyways... I would like to ask for permission to live here for the time being I'll work to earn my place if needed."
He added while following Milla. The elder then apologizes for not being able to leave.
"Oh no no it's fine, should you live, this tree... everyone here would be in grave danger. I appreciate your commitment. To bound yourself here is an admirable act. Regardless if being of your own free will or not. To withstand it until today and have the same gentle smile I watched since kid, it's admirable. And thank you, Advices are always handy."

"Wait what?."
Volpeo didn't like the idea of loosing Milla. After all this time they finally see one another. Just to know she won't be always here?
"W-what do you mean Elder? where would you go then?."
He asked worried about the very fact of loosing her.
"Ever since a child, I always looked up for you. You were like a second mother to me. Perhaps even more. What do you mean when you are gone? Aren't you eternal?"
As mucha as the thought pained him, he had to keep up with her footsteps, Milla proceeded her explanation about something of great meaning while they stood upon a door, she said to had no clue about it's meaning until recently.
"Then what is it?"
Asked the curious Kitsune. Then Milla apparently gave him some advice for what lied beyond the door.
"Wait how would I know when I find the truth?"

"E-elder wait."
Volpeo would dash to hold her hand as they went through that gate as he didn't wished for an Illusion to break them apart just now.
"Would that mean I'll never get to see you again?"
Once again, the fact of loosing her threatened him as he found peace in Milla's company, specially during this times of trial where he's away from his family.
"I do remember, you were our saviour, but despite doing all those great things you rarely even smile. As if you were loosing your fire. I had no Idea you were going through such painful vissions. I was merely a cub I had no Idea what were you going through. That's why I always tried to cheer you up. I tried to be there to you as much as you were there for me when I was little."
As Milla continued her explanation, volpeo seemed to be more concerned about the fact Milla might disappear. He knew he could find his family once more if he didn't give up. After all, it was all in the teaching he had from Milla since young. but the fact of loosing her, to wake up one day and know she won't be there anymore. It was breathtaking.
"Tell me I will be able to see you again..."
Despite Milla not telling him when or where that would be, he didn't wanted to risk said day to be tomorrow and not be prepared.
"Tell me there would be a way to find you... even after you're gone... if there is I'll look for it AND find it! That way, when your Duty is over, I'll be there for you, and take care of you as well. To do I couldn't do when a kid, now that I am a man."
Volpeo said, not wanting Milla to be ever forgotten, or alone.

The Kitsune listened carefully, with a hand on his head, it saddened him to have to say goodbye, but the goddess.. if she could be called that. Gave Volpeo a promise... or a secret. He would listen carefully, and endure the fact that it would happen. With no doubt. But at least, the secret could ease his anxiety and regain the kitsune's peace at last.
"I'll do it, I shall keep the secret."
A very child like display on an adults body. But time nor ages would matter.
Between those two, he was still the child she greeted when he joined this world as Milla would forever be, the same mother like figure, even after she's gone.

"Good, that would give me enough time."
Replied Volpeo while following Milla inside the vault strange objects.
"it seems it hasn't been used in ages."
Comments Volpeo, regarding of how dusty the place was. Some
of those objects were not even used since he was a kid.
