Nina looked around the room, trying to put the names that were being given out to the people who were giving them and finally just sighed.

“Hey ya’ll. I’m Nina.” She made a bit of a face at the random southern twang that had decided to invade her speech but shrugged it off. “To be honest…” The red head paused, trying to think of what to say, feeling the eyes of everyone on her. “To be honest, I’m just really kind of happy that you guys invited me here, and I’m not a wolf. I’m more of a bunny. Or a duck maybe. A baby duck.”

Not an ugly duck though. And not a swan. Bleh.

She shrugged and retreated back into her shell of observation. Being social was hard sometimes.

Lena wrinkled her nose at Avery's assertion that their roles in this last game had nothing to do with their place in this game, dispelling that as soon as she could. "Hey now, Councilwoman! I was an excellent seer in our last encounter, the villagers lived to see a new dawn. Of course you had to die a beautiful, tragic death as a martyr in order for that to happen but hey..." White teeth flashed wide in a smile so cheesily brilliant it might not be called 's**t-eating'. Even though it was.

Turning herself out towards the rest of the room the bluenette pushed her hair back and made the smile even bigger, if that were possible. Lena did a lot of things that didn't seem quite possible. "I'm Lena. I do whatever it is I feel like at the moment though I do have a single steady employer. Unfortunately, for national security reasons, I can't tell you any more about it." Mostly because explaining she worked at a sex shop never went over well.

Was there something else she was supposed to say? Arguing she wasn't a wolf? Nah. She was their seer last time and rocked at it. Everyone knew she could be trusted!

Mayumi swung her feet slightly as she sat, listening to the others' introductions. She always hated these "go around and introduce yourself" things - they invariably felt awkward and unnatural, and she would have preferred to just try to mingle with everyone. But, on the other hand, the auburn-haired girl supposed that this was a quick and to-the-point way to make sure she knew something of what she needed to know of everyone else all in one go.

When her turn came, she stood to make her introduction. "My name is Mayumi," she said with cheerful smile and a slight bow from the waist. Then she went on, "I'm with, ah, Nina, just happy to be here. Whatever you all were last game makes no difference to me, because I wasn't even here." She jiggled one wrist to adjust the charm bracelet around it, then went on, "I've never played this before, but I'm glad I'm not a wolf because I hardly know any of you guys really yet. What would I even do with no grudges or anything to kill people off by?"

Then, taking her seat again, she scanned over the gathered group, mentally repeating the names of the others to herself again and doing her best to commit them to memory.

"Feel free to start the accusations at any time," Ever offered, flipping his card around to show clearly why he wasn't a wolf -- because his said Moderator on it most clearly. He tapped it against his knee, looking at the lot of them.

"Also, I see those sullen expressions. You don't know each others' names. These are your fellow officers; these are the people you work with, and if you don't know them, that's on you." he raised his eyebrows, eyes sweeping over those he didn't know so well.

"I assume you all know that I'm Ever, now. General Ilmenite, for the curious. And I bartend at Bottoms Up, the gayest gay bar downtown."

He flicked brief looks to those who hadn't spoken yet. "There's still some people who have to introduce themselves, but might I suggest getting the lynching going while they gather their courage?"

"I was saving the best for last," Sawyer broke in indignantly. "And by best I mean me. Of course. And I'm Sawyer and I work at Maurice's Thrift down by the movie theater and that is why you can never find size 7 shoes there, it's because I snag them all before they're shelved. And I'm a kickass wolf, OK, I was the last wolf standing last game, although I got lynched up by some shrewd villagers--" he grinned broadly at Lena "--before I could finish my reign of terror. And maybe I'm a wolf again. Honestly we ain't got s**t to go on. Jade's answer was best, by the way," he added authoritatively, as if he had been called in for an assessment. "I ain't a wolf though. Even though I'm dressed like one. Come sit by me," he finished out of left field to Scott, patting the floor next to him and beaming broadly. Scott was clearly shy and retiring. He needed a friend.

Sawyer liked being friendly.

Avery very specifically said nothing to support or discredit Lena's claim of excelling in her role as Seer. After all, if she'd been so good, she'd have killed off those pesky wolves before they'd torn Avery to pieces!

"Well, here's something useful from our last game - those that ended up being quiet, pointed no fingers, and did their best to avoid drawing attention, invariably ended up being werewolves - except for Sawyer, who is very clearly always a naughty boy."

While factual, it was also an effort on Avery's behalf to get the others involved. The game was no fun when everyone kept their opinions to themselves and sulked quietly the whole time.

"Well why not, let's go with someone who's been looking disinterested, even if their a townie we'll have someone out who didn't really want to play right?"

Zac leaned back on his hands and then added with a small lift to his chin. "Ariel, you look less than ecstatic, goes well with team building I tell you."

"My thank you Sawyer," Jade replied, gifting him a quick smile before turning to Avery. She listened her words, considering them and pondering how it would affect to other's behaviour. Would that affect to her behaviour?

"I vote for
Ariel as well," Jade said then, deciding it was the best to go with the flow rather than point any fingers yet. At least for now.

When her name was first pronounced, a grin slid across her face and her red eyes narrowed, the look positively... wolfish. Was that a challenge Zac was offering her? Despite this being what she wanted, being challenged made her want to stand up for herself. She had the beginnings of a reputation going... she had to uphold that.

"I would like to point out that this game smacks of high school and I haven't been a teenager for nearly a decade, so you'll have to excuse my lack of... enthusiasm. I'm not who you want to lynch, though, just fyi." She said as she watched him closely. "I vote we lynch... Lena. If she was a seer last time, she's most likely not this time."

[ sorry, I realize I'm using red for her posts xD; Hopefully that's not a problem? I can change it ]

Delilah found herself sneaking glances at Avery quite a bit. It was amazing to her the kind of connections the Negaverse had. That and, okay, she was a lot hotter in person than on TV or in the newspaper. Nothing was going to do a girl that lovely justice except being close by, she supposed.

Ah well, she'd gotten names and maybe it was time to vote. "Yeah, sorry, but I gotta go with
Ariel. Sorry, sweetie, you're really cute, but you just look so very, very grumpy."

"If Sawyer was saving the best for last, he must mean me since I haven't gone yet." She flashed the boy a quick grin before continuing. "I'm Mackenzie. I teach hip-hop at the dance academy and go to DCU by day, and dance at clubs by night. I'd tell you why I wouldn't be a Werewolf but truth be told I'd probably be a really good one. I'm a coldhearted b***h and I don't know a single one of you, wouldn't phase me to tear you all to pieces in the middle of the night."

Mackenzie shrugged her shoulders before leaning back on her hands, her legs outstretched in front of her and crossed at her ankles.

"I'm going to pick poor clumsy Scott. He just screams werewolf for some reason." She smiled at him and added a wink.

With everyone introducing themselves, Scott thought he was ready for the event to start, but of course, then he thought wrong. He always thought wrong. Suddenly, there was someone sitting next to him, and Scott stared at Sawyer as though he just spontaneously combusted in front of his very eyes. He just openly admitting to being the werewolf in the last event, and no amount of logic to that fact being irrelevant for this event could comfort him.

Then, Mackenzie turned her vote to him, and Scott was quick to retaliate, though weakly. "If I was the werewolf, I would have tripped over someone, don't you think?"

Yes, make a joke at his own expense. It hurt and he knew others would laugh, but so long as he made that joke first, then it lessened the blow. It was the only thing he could think of.

"I... vote Ariel." Because others had.

Laine snorted, leaning back on her hands. "That's bull because I was a villager and I got lynched for those reasons... No thanks to some people, one of which is not here.." The corner of Laine's mouth twitched as she flicked a glance around the room, eyeing various people she played with last time. She then blinked at Mackenzie's intro. ....Laine was pretty sure she was now in love. Yep.

Her lips twitched again. She had been nominated for being quiet last time... and well, she remembered what happened the last time someone nominated Lena. Laine sighed. Why did the cute ones always go first? Propping a hand up, she dropped her chin in it as she looked at Scott. "You don't have to be good at being a werewolf... maybe you're the omega..." The Moon moon of the pack. "Sorry man, but I think I've gotta vote Scott."

Makayla glance over the people, making sure she remember names of those new to the game. Leaning forward, she nods as she turns her eyes towards Ariel then glance towards Scoot, chewing on the inside of her mouth for a brief moment. Shaking her head, she nods to Ariel "You don't look to happy, this can't be a good thing. My vote is Ariel." grabbing her beer, she rolls it between her fingers for a brief moment before taking another swing.

He picked up a card, looked at it, ran a hand through his hair, and then shoved the little card in his pocket. Suddenly people were introducing themselves and voting out people. C'mon Merric, get in the game.

"So... I'm Merric, or Jarosite if you want, and I play base," he said, some what lamely. Man he hated introductions. He chuckled a little at Nena's comment about being a duckling, an actual real smile on his face for a moment.

"And using teeth really isn't my style, to be honest. I'd rather kick than bite you. So not a werewolf," he finished with a nod that flopped hair back into his face. "And, uh, I guess I'll vote Ariel as well. Ya look like you're gunna claw someone's eyes out."
