The young tamer was thinking the whole time when he was being explained about a mission from a few years ago. Ignazio was practically a child in middle school, he really couldn’t remember the number of times he was left at home with his sister, whom was deemed ‘Queen’ of the Barthomeloi. Ignazio placed his left hand under his chin and turned slightly as his right arm was held under his left for support. ”I suppose” he muttered before his eyes widen and his left hand connected with his right as he remembered the event Kenji was talking about. ”I remember know, that was the day he came back so tired he went into his room and went right to bed and before that said goodnight to us.” Ignazio almost wanted to slap himself for nearly forgetting something like that, he so called father rarely said things like ‘I love you’ or ‘goodnight’ to him and his sister even at their younger ages. Ignazio really only remembered going to bed without dinner or being told to memorize things in his sleep or how he wasn’t allowed to sleep until after he mastered something. The simple thoughts were enough to turn his smile into a frown and then a glare before he looked back at Kenji.
”Did you know, during my father’s last year at this academy he was part of a group on campus known as the Seven Lucky Gods. They were all versed in a different form of Fatal Verse all referring to a different…well I guess God wouldn’t be the word, a Demi-God I guess would be the better way to describe them. My father was known as the God of War apparently, I have reason to believe he was studying the lore of Bishamonten, although the books here really don’t tell people that much information. For some reason today I woke up and all I wanted to do was read Sanskrit and study the teachings of Bishamon, I don’t know why, but it was something my body chose for me.” Ignazio explained as he shoved both his hands into his pockets and began to walk around the table as he spoke. Once he finished his explanation he stopped near at the head of the table where he originally was before Kenji got between him and his studies and reached out his left hand and grabbed the book then held it out to Kenji. ”Turns out my mother was also a member of this group, but it’s funny, they are both Tamers primarily, well at least I think my mother was primarily a Tamer. But it’s interesting that my father even bother to learn such powerful magic, unless there was a reason why he would learn it. The Barrier Exorcism doesn’t just stop demons but it stop humans form channeling their Qi, only those whom have special qi that derives from Buddha actually can use their Qi within its walls. Next is the second part of the barrier, it basically purifies everything. Doing it alone from what I’ve read seems suicidal, I don’t even know if I can learn it.”
Ignazio looked away for a second at the books and then back at Kenji with his never fading stare ”But I have to. There is someone I have to defeat. At all costs.”
"I'm going to put a bullet through your skull and drain you dry."
Kenji's arms dropped to his sides and his head slightly tilted to the left. He looked as though the energy had been completely drained from him. Ignazio had to be so serious all the time. Kenji had thought he had taken Ignazio away from the books for a little bit but it seemed as though he only dragged the young exorcist into another boring topic of the day. Kenji hated technical talk. The debrief of the missions he goes on were the worst part to him. Just hand him a form and tell him who he has to kill. No explanation needed, no boring details about their expertise. Now Ignazio was on about some history regarding his father. With an uninterested face and a slight depressed look, Kenji sighed as he said "Your father has mentioned that to me from time to time. He's not big on sharing though. Especially not about what he studies." Kenji wasn't a big fan of sharing what he studied, either. He would share with both Ignazios, but that was it. If someone knew what you studied to gain your power, they could go down the same path to be a strong as you or find a way to effectively counter you. All people who were a concern to Kenji never lived to tell about his powers or try to figure them out, though.
Kenji's body was still limp from disappointment about the way they conversation had turned. Why did it have to be all seriousness with the Barthomeloi? Was there never a time for relaxation and fun with either of them? Even when Kenji went out of the country with Ignazio the First, his boss never wanted to sight see or see the night life. Kenji was always stuck doing mission work without taking a breath. When Kenji went alone, he took time to see the country. In New York City he took time to see the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, do some shopping in NOHO and SOHO, and even visit the Museum of Sex. The museum was his favorite, he even bought a few souvenirs from it. However, had Ignazio the First come along with him to New York they never would have left the hotel unless it was mission related. Ignazio the First would burn down the museum before ever consider visiting it.
Kenji's body raised and became serious, though, when Ignazio mentioned that the spell he was trying to learn could probably kill him. Kenji used three of his fingers on his right hand, as his head tilted down slightly, and he pushed his glasses back into place. His glasses slipped off his nose from time to time. The glare of the light in the Library was now shining off his glasses to where Ignazio couldn't see his eyes. Kenji's body was stiff now, and aside from his head being down, his body was straight as an arrow. "Lord Barthomeloi, revenge is never worth your life." Kenji wasn't sure who Ignazio had to defeat at all costs, but he figured the motive behind the boy's determination was revenge. No one ever showed such dedication besides someone who had taken it upon themselves to be an avenger. Kenji never called Ignazio "Lord Barthomeloi" unless he was in front of Ignazio the First or unless he was speaking from his position as General of the Easter Seas. As the second in command to the General of the Southern Flames, he saw Ignazio as sort of his boss too, or at least someone he needed to keep alive for his commander. Kenji was not only Ignazio the First's personal body guard, but he took it upon himself to be the entire Barthomeloi house body guard. He wasn't about to let any of them die.
With a slight turn of his head to the left, Ignazio gave a confused look upon his face once he was called ‘Lord’ by Kenji then it brought a smile to the serious face followed by an uncontrollable laughter. Ignazio grabbed his stomach as he continued to laugh until he was nearly on the ground. Slapping his free hand along the table he slowly looked up at Kenji as he started to control the laugh and wiped a tear from his eye. Ignazio, shook his head slowly and looked into Kenji’s glasses that blocked the view of his eyes; the eyes Ignazio wished he could gaze into forever. Kenji’s eyes were special like that, so much so that he had a street name, which brewed from his method of killing; they called him an Alpha Stigma, someone who wasn’t a demon but wasn’t exactly a man either, these demon eyes were physically intoxicating. ”Don’t joke around like that, getting all serious on me. Besides, revenge is just a fool’s errand, this is more of a punishment that needs to be executed as soon as possible. Don’t worry I know my limits, I won’t press beyond them unless I know I’ll win no matter what.”
Ignazio stood up straight and shoved both his hands into his pockets and raised his head before turning his head to the left than right flipping his hair from his golden eyes and then with a simple glare of superiority he looked down upon the fair skinned man and said ”I’m the heir to the Barthomeloi family, we strike for the kill and will not show our fangs towards any normal enemy. Perfection is the key to life, and with such perfection, we rise above all even in death.” After his speech the faint ideal image of a younger Ignazio the first stood behind his son in spirit but soon faded after Ignazio turned his back to Kenji and went back to the books. ”I do need to finish a few more of these, you’re more than welcome to stay, but I’m planning on studying until I get a summons to do else work. Being an Exwire isn’t fun, it’s just petty work that the upper class refuse to do. Like cleaning out the air vents of coal tar or repairing the barrier around campus, all one hundred and forty-seven thousand seals. Do you know how long that takes? It’s a big pain in the a** to hunt down each seal and make sure it’s not damaged and if it is repair it either by hand or Qi. I mean, it is the biggest waste of energy I’ve ever had to endure, I’d rather go through my father’s training simulation fighting a dragon or something worse.”
As Ignazio complained he grabbed the lotus sutra and opened it back up and began flipping through the pages until he was back on the page he originally left off on. On the next page Ignazio read something that caught his attention, but he’d focus on that during a later time. For now, he had to learn how to complete the barrier exorcism, seeing how it would only be half complete at the rate he used it now. His familiars would be useless while the barrier was in use, so he’d have to rely on his own skills and his Aria knowledge in order to survive, so obtaining stronger verses and shorter lines was the best way to do that. Ignazio had a plan, and he wasn’t going to stop until it was completed.
"I'm going to put a bullet through your skull and drain you dry."
Kenji couldn't help but let out a few chuckles himself when Ignazio began to laugh. It was hard to be serious with Ignazio, even if they were talking about revenge, punishment, life, and death. Kenji had seen Ignazio grow up from a twelve year old to the young adult he was today. There wasn't much they could be serious about with each other. Even when they tried to be serious with each other, it always ended up with laughter. Maybe it was because they couldn't actually picture the other dying. Their lives seemed promised because they were the strongest in their class. Kenji had even heard how Ignazio lead his team to victory against a Hydra, and that was way above his class. It seemed impossible and improbable that either of them would die unless they were the ripe old age of one hundred and five.
Kenji raised his head from it's downward view, releasing the glare on his glasses and allowing his eyes to be revealed once again. He couldn't help but continue smiling at Ignazio as he proclaimed his family name. It wasn't his sinister smile, though. It was a genuine smile, one that showed content or light happiness. For some reason, when both Ignazios got proud about their noble family, it made him happy. Most people got offended and found their "nose in the air" attitude degrading, but Kenji actually enjoyed it. It was good to be proud of where you came from. Your roots gave you definition and were part of who you were. Kenji himself was very proud to be a Sakamaki, a name that meant you were heir to a technology enterprise. Kenji's family dealt with changing the future, as did Ignazio's. Kenji could proclaim the Sakamaki name like the Barthomeloi did, even though his name wasn't a noble family, because the Sakamaki's donated a lot of technology to the Vatican and True Cross to aid in the fight against demons. Kenji's father was very supportive in the fight against demons and what Kenji aspired to be. If only every father could be like Kenji's.
When Ignazio mentioned that he was going to continue studying and Kenji was welcome to stay, it reminded Kenji why he was there in the first place. He had to grab school documents for his mission, but he also had come to learn a Buddhist Fatal Verse, much like Ignazio. If he was going to take on the forces that were surely to come at him during this mission, he needed more fire power under his belt. Though he was the most talented Dragoon in the Vatican, his Aria skills needed sharpening. At this rate it seemed as though Ignazio was going to surpass his skills in that area. Luckily, Ignazio was learning from the lotus sutra and Kenji needed the surangama sutra. He didn't want to have to interrupt Ignazio's studies to flip a page. When Ignazio turned and began to look at his book again, this was when Kenji's genuine smile turned into his sinister one. He couldn't help but eye Ignazio from behind, feeling his rune begin to surge its manipulative power into his thoughts. The rune was almost demonic like that. It could tell when people around Kenji let their guard down and would be an easy target for Kenji to either kill and eat, or just take enough of their blood to make them pass out. It was a good thing Kenji had better control of his power than when he first obtained the rune, or he may have attacked Ignazio without a second thought. The rune's manipulative power at this point, with Kenji's level of control, just merely made his face and eyes appear evil while making him feel slightly hungry. It no longer held the flesh lust over him with his loved ones; though he couldn't say that about his enemies or complete strangers.
As Ignazio's back was turned, Kenji moved quickly once more until he was behind Ignazio before anyone could finish a blink. Kenji's left arm wrapped around Ignazio's waist as he pulled him close and is right hand grasped Ignazio's throat tightly, with his fingers on his jaw forcing the boy's chin up. Ignazio was a good five inches shorter than Kenji, so the back of his head rested up against Kenji's shoulder and chest. Ignazio lowered his head down to where his lips were within inches of Ignazio's cheek, and he talked slowly and menacing to where Ignazio could feel each release of breath on his face. "You're so precious, Ignazio. I could eat...you...alive." Kenji then pulled his head away from Ignazio's face, as he let go of the boy's waist, and lastly, his grip on his throat and jaw. Kenji turned his back and walked slowly away from Ignazio, giving a deep throat laugh that almost sounded maniacal. He loved to torture Ignazio like that. Both Barthomeloi men knew of Kenji's reputation as a blood drinking, demon-like man. It gave him an infinite amount of happiness to play vampire and take on the gothic role of the feared monster of old.
As Kenji made his way to the bookshelves, he held his hands behind his lower back and was holding his left hand with his right. He walked straight with his shoulders back, as royalty should. He grabbed a copy of the surangama sutra before heading back to the tables where Ignazio worked. He decided to drop his book on a table behind Ignazio, not wanting to crowd up the boy's thinking space. He then flipped open the book and began to study the verse he needed to learn, still laughing slightly at his antics with Ignazio.
Compared to Kenji, Ignazio moved like a turtle, even if he wanted to defend himself from the man, he wouldn’t be able to react fast enough. With that said, he allowed Kenji to touch him, knowing if any harm came of him from the man, he’d have to deal with not only his father but the Vatican, it wasn’t a smart idea on Kenji’s part to let his cursed rune take control of him; especially against the young Lord. Ignazio took a seat and began to read through the Lotus sutra again, his eyes narrowed as he read through the pages. All he needed to do was focus and figure out how exactly to complete the Barrier Exorcism. Continuing on from where he left off the young tamer read the words along the page within his head. ”The text speak of the lotus sutra itself becoming a physical manifestation of power, encircling the area in power and destroying everything within its range. So by creating the barrier, it limits the destructive force of the exorcism to a specific zone rather than a larger range. If I’m correct, all I have to do is create the barrier, maintain its form, have the barrier circle the area in which I’m targeting, and then continue onwards from there with the actual exorcism. For the most part this looks like a spell that releases spirits and destroys them.”
Nodding to himself as he placed his left hand under his chin, Ignazio took in the information and then flipped backwards a page before in order to check for more information within the text. Upon reading, he found something within the second section of Sanskrit, it was strange but the young Lord believed he had figured it out or was at least on to something. Grabbing the Sanskrit dictionary to his left he opened it and began to look for the word. ”I see, so that’s it, it’s basically a barrier that forms multiple layers of fields within the range of the barrier stacked until it reaches the top of the barrier, causing the areas within each bracket to produce a different layer of power based on the location of the caster and the target. This is genius, but the problem again, isn’t the fact that it’s a massive spell, but the fact it takes a large amount of Qi to use, and it would be easier to use by multiple people chanting it. But it isn’t necessarily difficult or impossible to cast. I might actually be able to pull this off alone.” A smile fixed itself on to the tanned face of the tamer before Ignazio closed the sutra and stood up. He was ready to try it, at least in a smaller area. Looking around slowly Ignazio looked for something he could test the exorcism on but then it hit him, he could use one of the vases. Walking away from the long desk he made his way over to an open area that had a white and blue vase with flowers painted around it. Ignazio closed his eyes and took in a deep breath as he prepared himself to perform the Barrier Exorcism, in its complete form.
Ignazio exhaled once more as he pulled both his hands to his center slightly in front of the center of his chest. His hands intertwined and created the seal Rin of Bishamonten. ”Un Bai Shiwarandai Sowaka. Un Shishirokuri Sowaka” Ignazio began to chant before repeating the mantra an additional two times. As the young man repeated the mantra a ghostly blue aura of Qi began to form around his body in the form of a sphere, behind him the image of a large silver statue appeared in the same hazy ghost like shape; the statue was of Bishamonten. As quickly as Bishamonten appeared the statue vanished and the sphere around Ignazio’s body began to compress before his body leaving him out of the compression. The small sphere vibrated slightly before floating before Ignazio’s eyes and above the vase. Soon the sphere circled the vase’s head and four arcs of energy rained down stabbing into the carpet and a larger version of the ghostly dome that was once around Ignazio’s body had appeared around the vase and the wooden pillar it was on. Ignazio’s brow started to sweat as he focused on the barrier and keeping it maintained and controlled.
Piercing gold eyes glared at the glass like barrier as he ignored the sweat flowing down his face. Ignazio took in another deep breath as he kept the same seal with his hands. A slight grunt came from his mouth as he struggled to keep the barrier from shaking, which was until he pushed more Qi from his body and started the next process which was for the Lotus Exorcism. ”Now, to just complete the exorcism””Noumakusan Manda Bodanan Abira Unken! Ha!” Ignazio forced out of him as a golden light came from within the barrier before it created a large lotus flower at the base of the pillar. Keeping the seal with his hands Ignazio went back to chanting the mantra ”Noumakusan Manda Bodanan Manban Sowaka” upon completing the first round through the incantation the Sanskrit that was at the base of the pillar began to rise up climbing against the air and forming additional layers of lotus flower heads long the center of the object before reaching the top. The letters were as pure as the snow and the lotuses were just as bright as Ignazio’s eyes color.
Ignazio began to repeat the mantra again, this time in full. As he chanted the protective barrier began to shift, he closed his eyes shut extremely hard and focused his Qi into the barrier itself and then slowly began to distribute it to each of the layers. For the time being this seemed to work. Ignaizo held his stance and his eyes peaked from behind his eyelids slowly almost afraid to look and lose his concentration; the thing was he was feeling fine at this point within the process of creating the barrier and performing an exorcism. Ignazio’s eyes opened and glared at the barrier as the lotus flowers were slowly changing color, from a ghastly white to a holy yellow in color. The sanskrit continued its climb up the vase and etched itself into the very air in order to create the lotus flowers.
"I'm going to put a bullet through your skull and drain you dry."
Kenji yawned slightly as he starred down at the text he had to memorize for his new fatal verse. Normally Kenji didn't have to use his skills as an Aria; his guns did the trick the first time around. However, it was never a bad idea to get more verses under your belt. You never know what enemies you were going to face that a bullet couldn't take care of. Kenji wasn't very good with reading Chinese, but he was alright. He definitely wasn't as good as Ignazio with it. Japanese was hard enough for him to learn as a child, let alone learn Chinese. Kenji could feel Qi shifts and the pages on his book blew slightly as Ignazio practiced. He didn't pay much attention to the Lord, because Kenji knew he would only be a distraction. He had to learn his verse and let Ignazio learn his own, or Ignazio the first would surely get on Kenji's case for distracting his son's studies. That reminded Kenji of his mission. He would grab the school articles and newspapers before he left. He was learning this verse specifically for his mission, but he momentarily forget he was working. He merely thought he was in the Library studying with Ignazio, like he did at their mansion long ago.
Kenji seemed to read the phrase "Freed from sound by turning hearing backwards, what do you call that which is disengaged" at least a dozen times, the words not sticking in his head. He struggled with interpretation, first of all, second of all, once he figured out what it said it didn't stay in his head. The Bible was easy to learn verses from because it was all more or less the same stuff just repeated one hundred different ways. Buddhist scripts were more complicated than that. They required abstract thinking when the Bible was literal most of the time. Kenji lowered his head closer to the scripture as he ran his fingers through his hair and let out an annoyed "Arruugggh!" sound. Somehow Ignazio was able to read the verses, have them stick in his mind, then practice them immediately. Kenji's mind did not work this way. He was more of a doer than a memorizer. Once he had the verse memorized, though, the power he unleashed was phenomenal. It was just the school work aspect of it he hated. It was amazing how high of marks Kenji made at True Cross and went directly to work at the Vatican. He was just lucky to be born with a photographic memory of things written in a language he could understand. Maybe that was what he needed to do. Write out the translation of the verses so he could look at it once and have it stick. Of course, he didn't have a pen and paper to do this. Why did he expect to need one? Kenji let out a sigh of frustration as he continued to read. Why did this verse have to be in Chinese?

• Joushi entered the library with quiet steps. After opening and closing the main door with steady hands Joushi approached the front desk, slender hands already delving into the leather messenger bag to retrieve the three tombs safely secured inside. Green eyes remained forward, pace calm and collected while slender hands retrieved the three books. Their weight was sturdy and solid, the hard covers protecting the piles of fragile paper each held, allowing the books to stand tall when placed on the desk in front of the librarian. The employee turned at the sound of the heavy, muted thump, eyes turning from Joushi to the small stack.
"To return." Joushi explained, fingers once more delving into the beige stripped messenger bag. Pulling out a slim, Italian leather wallet, Joushi retrieved an ID while the books offered were opened and their cards checked. The librarian checked the ID before nodding and taking the books properly, satisfied they were not damaged and allowing Joushi to freely roam the open sections of the library to select another set of texts to check out. The Dragoon already had a select genre in mind and headed for the biography sections of the library, green eyes roaming the multiple spines on display, finger occaisonally reaching up and out to carefully slide one tomb or text to check their contents before deciding if the book was relevant to the Beast Charmer's search or not. Once Joushi had gathered a total of three texts the pink-haired teenager turned and left the tall aisles of solid, stained wood and the dusty-covered books to once more approach the librarian, True Cross Academy ID in hand to check the books out under the Dragoon's name. Green eyes watched as each book was signed and stamped, taking them back one by one to safely tuck them within the confines of the leather bag strapped over one of Joushi's shoulders. New study material in hand, Joushi turned to return the dorm room.

Leaving the Great hall in fury she hated to admit but Joushi was right. She needed to learn how to control her demonic abilities and hone in on her dragoon skills. She wondered mindlessly through the halls walking without a destination in mind at all what so ever. her mind was to clouded with anger to make a rational decision. The only way to clear her head was to walked around thinking of nothing and to mind her own business. She couldn't believe that she let Joushi get under her skin like that, but she should couldn't help how much of a temper she had. No matter how much she suppressed her emotions her anger always finds a way to push through her wall as it it was a ghost. A ghost that possesses her body to do nothing but speak of anger.
Akemi had been walking for a good amount of time before finally she reached a pair of large cherry wood doors. Above the door read the words "Great Lulim's Library". A nice quite area would surely keep her mind away from the angry thoughts her demonic half would think of. raising her right hand she pressed it against the one gold plate that was drilled into each of the doors. pushing the door open she followed through with the motion and extended her arm out to the right as she walked through. Stepping inside the room she took her hand off the door and it slowly returned back to where it once was, as if Akemi had never walked through at all. As it clicked back in place a loud sound echoed through the hall signalling that door closing. Everyone inside was quite and kept to themselves. Some students looked up from their studies to see who had walked into the room while other's kept their noses in the books not caring to know at the slightest.
Her steps echoed silently as she walked pasted all of the desks and the students that sat in them. There were thousands of book here, a topic for everything. There were so many books that the fact that there were exorcism books didn't look suspicious on any level at all. If a student of the normal academy was to find on of those book, the student would simply just think that the school was wanting to keep a vast variety of books to please everyone. Not everyone reads and likes the same things so a school like this would make sure to have all the books they possibly could. If you could think it the school has it! The sky was the limit with the amount of books they had inside this hall.
As she walked through the isles she looked around seeking books that could possibly help her out. Without any luck she couldn't find anything. It was like looking for a needle in a hay stack, it was just going to take too long for her too find what she needed. So instead she walked over a computer near by and pulled out the chair. Taking a seat she started to type in key words for things she needed. Key words like "Dragoon", "Five demon Kings", "Iblis". Eventually after trying several key words she would find the books she needed. Next to the keyboard was a stack of sticky notes and a pen. Taking the pen she wrote down the location of all the books she was wanting to look at.
Before standing out of her chair she made sure to clear the key words that she used just in case a student came by, she didn't want them seeing what she was looking up. The last thing she wanted was to have people start thinking she was worshiping the devil. Of course the only ones that would jump to that conclusion would be those not in the cram school. Exorcists in training would understand why a student would be looking for such books. Pushing in the chair she left in search for the books she was wanting to retrieve.
Looking at the first location she wrote down she was looking for the genre. Above all the isle there were signs hung to make it easier for the students to locate what they were looking for in the utopia of books. The first book was about weaponry tactics. This book was written by a specialist on weapons. They best part about it was that the author himself was once a well known dragoon. The only reason she knew that was because one day in class a teacher mentioned his name. stopping where the book would be located she looked up. A long ladder was connected to a rail at the very top of the book case. If she had to guess there was about 30 to 40 shelves on ever bookshelf. And her's would be located on shelf 35. Taking the ladder she moved it over to where she needed and kicked a switch at the bottom of it so it wouldn't move on her while she was climbing up and down on it. Wiggling the ladder a bit she was making sure it wasn't going to move, and after the ladder not moving an inch she started up the ladder. Placing her foot on the first step she gripped the edges of the ladder and started to climb. One foot after another she started to slowly trek her way to top of the ladder. Reaching the shelf level she needed to be she held on to the edge of the ladder with her left hand. Running her index finger alone the bindings of the books reading each one as her finger passed them. When she located the book she needed she picked at the top of the binding with her finger. The book tilted forward and allowed her to grasp onto the book with her hand without trouble. She then made her way back down the ladder careful with every foot step she made. Being that she was so high up the last thing she wanted was to fall off a ladder. Then she would surely end up in the nurse's office and instead of it being a cover up story, like Ignazio, it would really be the case for herself. Once she reached the bottom she used the tip of her shoe to unlock the ladder, ableing it to be able to move once more.
She continued this process looking for the other books down to the very last one of her list. After she was done she carried a total of 5 books all stacked one on top of the other. Her hands cupped around the edges of the bottom book, she was able to keep her grasp on all of them. She then took them to an empty study space. She quitely placed the stack of books down on the desk, pulled the chair out taking her seat, and scooted herself closer to the desk. Taking the first book of the top of the stack was about her father himself, Iblis. she wanted to learn more about who is was. she knew little about him considering she never asked any, for she didn't want to explain why she had such an interest in a demon king. It was unusual for a cram student to seek information on a particular demon king. The last thing she wanted was to start getting unwanted attention. Reading through the book she studied hard, trying to make sure she absorbed ever last word she read.

Etched into the side of the bullets is a crucifix which binds this hold power together. Demons shot with one of these bullets can lead directly to death because of the high amount of holy energy. They tend to completely destroy the targeted area so it turns to nothing but dust. A shot to the head is fatal for low level Demons while upper level demons might take more than a single shot to kill them with these bullets. If a mid-level or higher demon is shot with one of these bullets are able to resist the holy power for a period of time but the bullet must be removed as soon as possible if they want to survive and start healing. Locations shot with these bullets won’t heal until the bullet is properly removed. Half-Demons are also affected by these bullets but they tend to suffer milder side effects because of their human side but because they are still demons they will feel as if they are being burned alive from the inside out starting from the location the bullet entered the body and will eventually make its way to their hearts. reading the passage about her birth father she started to grow frustrated. Little was known about her father, in fact he rarely leaves Gahenna. She tried to find information on why he came out from the depth of hell years ago. The only information she could find was that he was quoted saying that he was seeking to have spawn strong enough to lead his army into the destruction of Assiah. Closing the book Akemi tossed it to the side carelessly. It angered her to think that the reason she was even born was because she was intended to join a demonic army. How could he even assume that. There was no way to tell how she would grow up and what morals she would have. But then again, children are extremely impressionable so if she ended up growing up with Iblis in Gahenna she could very well turn out how he wanted.
Grabbing another book off her stack she was to continue her research and extending her knowledge. The next book was on weapons. Specifically on the types of guns she had herself. The book went on to describe how to gun words. The functions of the gun and what controls those functions. After ready a few pages, she flipped to a page that showed a diagram on the separate parts of the gun itself. There were step by step instructions on how to take about the gun to clean it, how to clean it, what materials need to be gathered in order to clean it, and lastly how to reassemble the gun back to it's original form. Mentally she started to test herself on how to take about the gun, then re put it back again. Again and again she quizzed herself on that to the point where it was drilled into her brain. After she knew exactly how to take apart her gun she went and grabbed the third book on the side weapon that she carried. The Beretta M9. This model is the older version of her primary weapons the Beretta 92FS series. The functions of the gun's are similar but the functions were a bit out dated compared to her primary weapons. Once she reached the page with a diagram on how to disassemble it she grabbed the other book and started to compare the two. Considering the two weapons were basically the same there wasn't much different on how to disassemble them. The only thing different were how to remove the Magazines. Akemi made a mental note on how to do so. she pushed the two books aside leaving them open grabbing yet another book.
The fourth book was simply on the weaponry tactics a person could use in battle. while reading the passage it said that most people think all they have to do is point and pull the trigger. Most people don't think thinks through and just blinding start shoot, forcing them to lose more ammo than they needed to. The book stated that one should look at their surroundings and find other things to help in their battle, such as shooting a hot water pipe. The hot water would come shooting out of the pipe making it extremely dangerous for someone to touch or even run through the water, as there is a risk of burning themselves terribly. After hours and hours of reading books akemi decided to check out the last book and take it back to her dorm. Closing the books she had scattered on the desk in front of her she neatly stacked them into a pile for someone to come a clean up later. Akemi walked all the way back to the enterance of the door where a desk clerk was sitting. "I would like to check this book out please." she said hand placed the book on the counter along with her student ID. "Yeah sure no problem..... Here you go. On that paper there says when the book needs to be returned. Have a nice day.""Thank you." Akemi gathered her things together putting them back where they belonged. Picking up the book she walked out of the Library.

The tapping of leather soles echoed through the empty halls until reaching the library door. Ignazio reached into his back pocket and grabbed his student identification card and tapped it on the card reader. A new feature added to the library after a certain incident with the door being destroyed at the start of the year. The fudge haired male made his way through the doors as they opened after the pin lock switched from red to green. His azure eyes scanned the area. It was just as empty as always, but the library was one of the largest rooms on campus, even housing an underground restriction section. It wasn’t something that wasn’t to be expected, seeing how the school was linked to the Japanese Branch of The Order. Walking into the library the sound of the tapping from marble floors to carpet soothed the boy’s feet. He made his way through the main section of the library, noticing the librarian was busy signing books back in and stacking them on to a cart. Ignazio checked his watched and noticed he had about another five minutes or so until Lloyd was supposed to show up. His curiosity peaked a little as he traveled through the rows and columns of towering books until reaching the stairs. Ignazio took a step onto the stair and it began to lift him up to the next level. Upon reaching the second floor, the young tamer moved down the line of bookshelves slowly caressing the edge of the shelf as he walked by.
Soon Ignazio found himself in the section he was looking for; the demonology section. The tamer read through the titles of the books and soon began to grab books, one by one. Of course, when it came to demonology Ignazio was still really old fashion, just as his family was, reading things in a hard copy form rather than utilizing the technology that was at their disposal. The books were extremely large and heavy for the tamer. Looking around he soon found a cart that was pretty empty and stacked the five large old, broken spine books he had found on the cart gently before going back for more books. The next few books he had grabbed were smaller in size but the information that held was more in depth as well in German. Ignazio made his way back the cart and added three more books to the pile and decided that might be enough for now. Taking the handle of the cart in both hands he began to wheel the cart towards the elevator shaft. Entering the elevator he pressed the ground floor button and shortly after, he and the books were transported to the lower level.
The heir to the most renowned family of demonology experts found a study table and began to set the books in order starting with the larger books and then the smaller books behind them. Taking a seat, Ignazio pushed the falling bangs from his face and behind his ears as he began to read. The book he was reading was one that he had used often for his theory assignments on demonic creatures, but because of the depth and prestige that followed behind each and every word. Ignazio looked through the pages of handwritten and drawn images of ancient demons and soon began to take mental notes on the ones that could fit the description of the sound in which he had heard.
Two girls walked passed him and stopped at the shelf not too far from his table and began to speak about the rumors at school. Arguing about if it could have been a dog or a cat then discrediting the rumor. They then changed it to maybe just the sound of the wind blowing through the windows or maybe even a nearby construction site. Ignazio closed his eyes and thought about each of their theories and soon opened his eyes as he discredited them himself. Next thing that was said made Ignazio turn around and give the two girls a nice princely smile ”I’m sorry ladies, but there is no such thing as ghosts, everyone knows that.” he said before they started to blush and then apologize for disturbing him, ”It’s fine, don’t worry about it. Just try not to talk too loud about events like that. Someone might think you’re crazy.” he suggested before they walked off quickly and leaving the city of never ending books.
Somewhere along the duo's journey, Celebron had taken to the ground in front of him, and was now leading the way to the library. "I do not think I understand humans yet. A lot of you are dumb, or boring. So far, in this entire school, I only like Joushi and naturally Kit. Cat Sidhe's are by far the superior of our two races though." Amazed at the ego that small familiar had developed since arriving, Lloyd hastened his past just enough to catch up with Celebron, and once he had let the Cat Sidhe feel on top of the world, he picked the small animal up by its tail. It was not forceful at all, so as not to hurt the familiar, but done in a matter that would show Celebron who was still stronger. "Superior you say? Do not forget that you chose to stay by my side because of what I did for you when I was just a little boy and you could hardly take care of yourself." Holding the small demon in his arms now, he felt Celebron's breath hit his hand repeatedly as though he were mumbling about the words that Lloyd had spoken. "There's no need to mumble Celebron. As the superior of our races, you should be able to say whatever you wish without fear of anything." Having broken out into laughter, he could faintly hear Celebron yelling for him to shut up before climbing up his arm in order to perch on his shoulders The remainder of their walk was rather quiet, with the only noise coming from students that they passed on the way to the library. Having finally reached their destination, he pushed open the doors before stepping inside.
Stopping to look at the card reader, he quickly rummaged through his pocket before pulling out his student identification card. "Well this is new..." Nodding his head, he slowly tapped the identification card against the card reader before watching as the light switched from red to green. It was more than likely added to replace what happened earlier in the year thanks to a certain someone. The event seemed to have happened so long ago, but he could remember it as clear as day, much like the Hydra battle. While he entered the area, two girls had exited talking excitedly about he had actually stopped to talk to them. Given their facial expressions, he could only assume that Ignazio was already within the library. Just like when he had first entered the library at the beginning of the year, it was a quiet and desolate place for sure. "I hate this place..It makes my fur stand on end..Its always so quiet and empty in here." He could do more than agree with his familiar and his, exception, observation skills. Moving through the area quietly, he scanned the various isles for the young Barthomeloi, and in time, had found him. However, instead of being within the isles of the library, the male was seated at a table with various books around him. Moving over to his table, he put one leg onto the table in order to hoist himself up slightly.
Once properly seated on the table near Ignazio's books, he spoke up. "It is nice to see you again, though from the message you sent, I doubt I am here to study, am I?" questioned Lloyd before watching Celebron jump down to the table before sitting directly beside the books that were not being read yet by the elder Barthomeloi .
Ignazio felt Lloyd’s and his familiar’s presence before they arrived at the table, it didn’t cause the older male to change what he was doing or make him lose focus from the book. Soon Ignazio closed the book and looked at Lloyd and shook his head before stretching his arms above his head. The crimson suit jacket slightly raising as he stretched and yawned a little. ”No, not really” he said as he ignored Celebron’s existence, in order to avoid fighting with the Cat Sidhe; although his threat about making him into a soup was still valid, Ignazio was a little hungry after using so much Qi earlier in the Forest of Screams. Placing both hands on the table Ignazio motioned towards an open chair for Lloyd to sit down. ”Ignoring the fact I’m still a little annoyed from our little spat at lunch, I’m overlooking it now, seeing how we are childhood friends and I don’t see why we should end a friendship over a small matter. Never mind all of that though.” Ignazio started but quickly changed the topic from his frustration to actual business. He turned his head and looked around to make sure no one was around before he started speaking about rumors and other nonsense things.
”Have you heard them? The school is crazy with rumors about these eerie howling we keep hearing. Some say it’s a dog or a cat, and some say it’s just the sound of the wind or echoes from a nearby construction site.” the tamer started as he moved his hands under his chin and closed his eyes for a second as he began to think about the incidents that have been happening around town and at the academy. ”Anyways, before the student council asked me if I wanted to create a task force they asked me to look into these rumors and put a stop to whatever the howling is, at the time I turned them down, for a few personal reasons. But it seems this howling isn’t just attracting the attention of the normal students, but its attracting some of the students from the cram school, certain demon clientele to be more specific.” Ignazio continued before placing his hands on the table and then looking at the books in front of him. ”I’ve accepted this mission, as well as taken on the responsibility of doing some private tutoring of a few of these demons students we have infesting the school. But unfortunately, a certain flat chested woman got in the way, and pretty much forced me, to end the exorcise early. Tonight I’m planning on starting it up again, but one of the demons uses a sword, I want to borrow your expertise, if they plan on entering the Exorcist Qualification Exam they won’t even be a challenge and winning that way isn’t really a win.” Ignazio continued as he looked away from Lloyd towards the end in order to hide the fact he was truly doing something nice. Ignazio began to scratch the upper part of his cheek with his right index finger and slowly turned to look at Lloyd. ”Oh yeah, you’re family went all out for you it seems, bribing the State Officials and becoming a partner, just to allow Pages to participate in case they failed the Exwire Exam or just failed to participate in it. They must really want you to succeed soon. Huh?”
When the male had motioned at the chair for Lloyd, he moved slightly in preparation to actually sit down, but had to pause for a moment when Ignazio chose to bring up what had transpired during their conversing in the Great Hall. His annoyance meant little to nothing to Lloyd for the male had brought it upon himself. Due to their being childhood friends, Ignazio should have known very well that Lloyd would not back down, regardless of who he was talking too. If the subject matter was something of utter importance to him, like his familiar, then he would defend his point until his dying breath. Nothing would change his mind, nothing would break his will, and nothing would squash his conviction. At the mere sound of the male's words, Celebron had stood from his position before walking back over to Lloyd who had now moved from his position on the table to the seat given to him by Ignazio. Knowing that if he said anything, the rude young male would hear him, he merely kept quiet before laying down and closing his eyes. Since at the moment, he had nothing nice to say to the male, there was no reason for him to look at him either, lest he say something "rude" again and be forced to apologize.
"I've indeed heard it, and anyone within the cram school should be able to tell that it is by no means a normal cat or dog, or even the sounds of wind." spoke Lloyd as he released a slight yawn. Hearing that Ignazio would be tutoring various demon students that had entered the school honestly made Lloyd want to laugh. The poor children probably had no idea what they were getting themselves into, and if they did, then they had some false idea about getting stronger quickly through whatever training method Ignazio would employ. While they would more than likely grow in power, there was was no telling what type of physical beating their bodies would be put through just so that they could increase their power. What was the sense of increasing one's own power if their body was beaten so badly that they could not wield it properly? "A flat chested woman? Seeing as he specifically pointed out that she was a woman, I would say that she is more than likely a teacher, or perhaps even, an Exorcist? But who?" His thoughts were soon interrupted when the Barthomeloi asked if he could borrow his his expertise. So that was it. He had been called over in order to help his old friend train a few demons. While the events of the Great Hall were fresh in his mind due to being brought up in such a manner, but he could push it to the back of his mind in order to help train a couple of demon students.
"Very well then. You have the aid of both my blade and that of my expertise. My family will need to do more than that for what they have done. Simple bribery in order to grant me entrance will not be enough. While I am not a person of vengeance by any means, it is time for my family to be taught a small lesson. How strange though, I have never seen you take on multiple people to help at one time. If I did not know any better, I would say that Ignazio Barthomeloi is actually being nice to other people." His words were calm and quiet so that no one else in the area would her, and all through his talking Lloyd kept the air of a proud Knight around him at all times. It was the mannerism drilled into him from birth, and whether he realized it or not, his polite nature even carried over to his anger. "You need only tell me what time in which you wish to begin. Surely, you have told whoever it is that I am to go up against, that I will not be holding back in the least, right? I would hate for them to enter our training unprepared."
Ignazio blushed slightly as he crossed his arms over his chest and leaned back in the chair causing it to be only on two legs as he looked away from Lloyd. ”I don’t know what you’re talking about.” he struggled to say at first before leaning forward in the chair and then turning back to Lloyd and standing up. ”I wouldn’t consider it a bribe, it’s an investment, I highly doubt they need to bribe you to do anything, if they wanted something done they would just command you or whatever you people call it, and you’d trout out with your sword and do whatever it was you were asked. Bribery normally is an exchange of some sort, even if you didn’t become an Exorcist you’d still be the head of the family one day, so it’s pointless for you to think of it as bribery.” Ignazio spoke with passion, moving his arms as he spoke but then folded them once again along his chest as Lloyd asked him about who ever he’d be helping him train. ”Actually, I didn’t I might have mention something along the lines of be prepared or something like that, but I don’t recall ever using your name or speaking highly over your skills. Anyways, we’re meeting tonight at nine. We’ll deal with this little assignment first and then we’ll deal with their training.”
The Barthomeloi heir took his seat and grabbed another one of the old texts and opened it up as he flipped through the pages as he began to memorize the material. Slowly but surely he had time to memorize everything along the pages in the book involving demonic beasts that could possibly haunt the academy or be summoned inside its walls. That’s when it hit him. Ignazio’s mind had a slight flashback to one of the males he encountered before break. The boy had the ability to summon creatures from a demonic plane that was on a level as high as Innocentius, if not higher. Although Ignazio defeated the male, he couldn’t remember if the Vatican ever released him or his friends after attacking the prized child; well in a way Ignazio wasn’t much of a prize, more on lines of second place, while his elder sister took the grand prize position in their family. ”It is possible…” he started but stopped himself from speaking and slammed the book shut before standing from his seat and quickly stacked the books.
”I want to investigate a little more into the source of the howl before we start looking for whatever it is, and we can’t just pretend it doesn’t exist now, can we?” Ignazio said to Lloyd before placing his right hand under his chin and closed his eyes as he began to think. ”The school is protected by a magical barrier that is supposed to keep mid-level and upper-level demons out right?” Ignazio started before he reached down towards the card holster on his leg and unbuckled the hatch before pulling out all the tarot cards and placing them on the table. ”But I summon mid-level demons inside of the campus barrier all the time. There isn’t a single low-level demon that can produce an Earth shattering howl or one loud enough to move throughout the entire school. Which means, the only possible method for a creature with that much power to be in the academy is through summoning.” Ignazio excitedly blurted out as he looked down at the cards and then thought about one of the rumors he heard earlier that day, ”The biology club is under suspension by the student council, while most of the members are from the Cram School, there is a rumor that the mysterious howl is from a chimera that was born in an experiment. But if that was the case, the demonic aura would be spreading throughout the school, and we would have had a few dead bodies by now. Unless someone managed to seal the creature within a certain location.” The tamer continued as he picked up his cards and placed them back into his holster. Ignazio was on a roll with his theories, but then it got to the small point, if it was a barrier created within the labyrinth of an academy then it would have been detected a while ago by one of the instructors, if not himself. ”Actually that could be a little farfetched. What do you think?”
Ignazio turned to Lloyd and tried to ignore the fact they had differences and he was still just as stubborn as the armor most knights wore in combat to shield themselves from enemy attacks. In any case, the noble stead in which he threatened was more than likely the major cause of the fight, but it wasn’t like he wasn’t being serious or made an idle threat. Sometimes, Ignazio didn’t understand why he hung around Lloyd, was it the simple fact their families were on good terms with one another, or was it the fact he actually liked Lloyd. Thoughts other than the howl filled the summoner’s mind as he tried focusing on multiple matters at once. While he needed to use Lloyd’s skills for his own reasons, he didn’t entirely like Lloyd at the moment either, but he was one of the few people he could trust with his life if anything were to happen to him. The thoughts swirling behind the bright blue eyes only made Ignazio’s eyes lower back into their typical stern glare.
