Library A || Library B || Restricted Section A || Study Area
Restricted Section B ||Hidden Underground

Found in close proximity to the Garden of Eden Church, Great Lulim's Library is found in the upper right hand corner of the lake with the only way to reach it is through a bridge. Often used for studying and commonly known for social gatherings the Library is a multi-floored building, being rather spacious with many staircases, study rooms, and desks sparingly placed throughout the complex. Dozens of bookshelves fill the interior of the library, each filled with books meticulously gathered by the Head Mistress herself. The library is where students can go to peruse or borrow books to supplement their studies (or for personal enjoyment). It contains tens of thousands of books on thousands of shelves.The library closes at 8:00 pm.

Students and teachers may take out books from the library, with the librarian’s permission. Books from the Restricted Section require a signed note from a teacher to be checked out. The Restricted Section is an area in the Lulim's Library closed off by a dozen chains and guarded by two familiars and only accessible to students with permission from a professor or from the Order on official business; in order to enter, they must present a signed note from a professor. Some of the books in the library are chained to the shelves, which would suggest some of them are particularly valuable. The books within the Restricted Section typically discuss Demon history or other information not for the general public or young children.

There is a rumor going around that underneath the Library lies a vast underground chamber but the truthfulness in this matter remains up to debate.

[] ❧ Audrianna Hara Black ❧ []

"I am more than just a means to an end."

As was the norm during most of Audri's nights, sleep eluded her. Ever since she could remember, she has never gotten a good nights sleep. Audri has always had to sleep with one eye open. Even those she was supposedly safe at the Academy in her own dorm, she still felt like there was a need to watch her back. What had made Audrianna decide to come to the library on this early Tuesday morning, she didn't even really know. She was hoping that since the school year had just began that not many students would be here. Plus, if students were here anyways, they would just be the "above and beyond" type and would probably tend to their studies and leave Audri alone. At least, she hoped. Audrianna decided that she would stroll through Library A, and maybe venture someone else in the Library after a while.

As she entered that section of the Library it was exactly how she expected it and wanted it...empty. Audrianna closed her eyes and smiled as she took a big whiff in. Ah, the smell of old books. There wasn't a smell quite like it. Some people didn't appreciate the smell of old books, but Audrianna did. Each of these books had been held by different people, read by different people, and interpreted by different people. These books have been many places other than this library, and each one had its own distinct smell. That was one of the things Audri loved about books. Audrianna opened her eyes and looked around, trying to decide what section she wanted to read about. She made her way to the stairs, and began to climb them. Her combat boots clicked loudly against the wooden stairs as she walked, the emptiness echoing the sound of her steps. Her hand slid up the hand rail, the cold of the wood stinging her palm slightly. When she made it to the top, she stopped and looked at the walls of books. If she was completely honest with herself, she would like to go into the restricted section of the Library and read some of the Demonology books. She knows that there are bound to be a plethora of books in that section about Amaimon, and it great detail. Audrianna could not find anyone to give her permission to go in there, though, and check out a book on him. The exorcists do not trust her as much as she'd like.

A sigh escaped her lips as she thought about it all. She was a half-demon at a school that trained exorcists. The professors who knew who she was didn't trust her, and neither did the higher-ups. Why was she even forced to be here? If they wanted her to be on their side, they could at least treat her better. Audri's fingers brushed the spines of the books as she walked past them, their rough, old spines feeling odd against her fingertips. She read the spines as she walked past them, and none of the books seemed interesting to her. She was really itching to get into the Demonology section, so she knew nothing she would see here could quench her intellectual thirst.

Another place of solace. The library. It was often that the young Headmaster would come here to read books, not ones about Exorcism but simply ones about literature and human history. He found them to be very intriguing. But today he wasn't here to occupy some of his time reading but to enjoy the company of the half breed. The heals of his monks shoes clicked against the hard floors of the library as he entered and walked about trying to find the girl whom the Vatican had labeled as an abomination. But of course not to her face. They wanted to use her power and use her until she was of no more use, then toss her to the wolves. Tavion wouldn't allow that. He was just about the only person that treated her with kindness, but that was his way of doing things. Luke Chapter Six Verse Thirty-One states :And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. If he were in her situation, he would've liked for her to return the favor.

Tavion walked with his hands in his pockets traveling to Library A, hearing the footsteps of what he thought was the half breed girl. He thought he would be able to find her hear because during his observations, when she wanted to be alone she thought this to be the perfect spot. He stopped as he spotted her in a row between two shelves marveling the books that were there. Even after seeing them for the thousandth time. "The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge." He said reciting a line from Proverbs Chapter Eighteen Verse Fifteen. "I like that you come here often the quench your thirst for knowledge Ms. Black" He stated as he walked nearer to her.

Victor walked into the library with good haste. He was wearing his house's uniform, a black suit with gold lining along with a blue vest with a white shirt and red tie. His bullet proof vest was well kept underneath it all and the black combat boots gave away the contrast of Victor's true personality beneath the uniform. He didn't want to spend too much time at the library so he headed in on a mission. Victor wasn't much of a reader, he preferred to get his learning hands-on and so he was there for different reason than to look up a book. He was carrying a back pack on his back with some of his exorcist gear inside. Finding an available table, Victor sat down and set the backpack down in front of him. He pulled out a laptop and slid the bag aside. Opening it up and starting it up, Victor noticed that there was barely anyone there. He could hear the voices of someone up on the second level but he dismissed it as staff. Victor was hungry and wanted to pick up the legendary cup of coffee he was used to in town so he went straight for his e-mail account to check his mail and receive some messages from his teachers for that year regarding books to be checked out and schedules. As Victor scrolled down the random e-mails about weight loss and matchmaking, he found a message from the Headmaster himself. He opened it and read something like a news report regarding criminal activity involving demons and violence on the streets. It was harsh to hear of something like that happening in his own city although he might have an idea of who might know what was going on. It spoke about underground fights, something that Victor was all too familiar with and hoped that the Headmaster wasn't talking about the same ones. Past all of the bad news, there was a small add-on about what had happened at the gymnasium. To his relief, the destruction had been pardoned, this time. It reminded him of Alexandria and Ignazio, both exorcists of which Victor had not spoken to since that night. Taking a deep breath, Victor put his arms behind his head and began to tilt his chair back and forth the way he usually did when he daydreamed in class.

[] ❧ Audrianna Hara Black ❧ []

"I am more than just a means to an end."

Audrianna had yet to spot a book that interested her. Demonology was her passion. She needed to know more about what was coming for her. She had already faced demons that wanted to take her to Gehenna and get reward from her father, but she could never trust demons. How did she know her father even wanted to see her? It was all probably just a trap. She had also run into demons who wanted to kill her because her father had done them wrong. What better way to get back at a man than to kill his family? Audrianna sighed at the thought of her being constantly chased. She was also slightly depressed at the restricted section. Sure, her demonology teacher would teach her what she needed to know to defeat demons, but she wanted to know things beyond that. Audrianna then felt her phone buzz in her pocket, and when she pulled it out she saw that it was an e-mail from the head master. It seemed as though there was strange activity in town. This was something Audri definitely needed to check out, to see if there could be any answers about her father.

Audri then heard the sound of another person enter her area of the library. Why, oh why, did they have to choose section A of the library? She crossed her fingers, figuratively of course, hoping they wouldn't come near her. She placed her phone back into her pocket as she listened closely to the sounds of their walking. They were coming up the stairs. "Damn it..." she thought as she realized that she had been spotted. She hadn't hidden herself well enough in the shelves to keep people away. She didn't face the person as she heard them approaching, just in case they happened to need a book in her area. Unfortunately, she heard the voice speak to her. It was the head master. Out of all the people to come to the Library out of all the times, and of all the people to talk to. What was he doing? Audrianna turned slowly towards the head master with an uninterested expression. Her fingers were placed on the spine of a book, but her hand dropped when the head master finished speaking. "What do you want?" Audrianna had no interest in casual conversation, not even with the head master. It was the higher ups who forced her to this school, and the ones who keep her captive here. She was under much stricter rules and observation than any other students. The head master was part of this scheme, and Audri didn't like it.

Audrianna then heard someone else enter the library. "Damn it, it's Tuesday morning. School just started. What the hell, people?!" It seemed as though Audri wasn't going to get her peace this morning after all.

"I am more than just a means to an end."

Audrianna sneaked a peek of the clock on the wall in the Library. Her eyes widened and her body tensed as she realized what time it was. "Oh s**t! I'm late!" Audrianna took off past the head master and down the stairs as she began to run to her first class. How could she be late? She came to the library with plenty of time to browse before class, and now she was late. This is what she deserved for being social, she supposed.

Audri raised her hand as she dashed down the stairs and yelled after the head master "If I get a detention you better take care of it!" She then exited the Library, sprinting towards her class.

Victor Rodrigo de Asturias

Victor was shaken from his daydream by the sound of a bell. He quickly looked to his phone for the time and immediately sat up. Getting out of the chair, he quickly threw his laptop inside his bag and began to jog to the door when someone's voice stopped him. He could see two people talking by a book case somewhere in between the second floor. Victor could see white hair, a male and immediately thought of Ignazio, but t hen realized that he didn't have his stature. It was the Headmaster, Mr. Vega. There was also a female, strikingly attractive. She wore mostly black and had piercings in places that accentuated who she was. Victor wasn't sure he'd seen her before and perhaps she wasn't an exorcist. What's the headmaster doing talking to a student so privately. In the library too? Victor suddenly realized he didn't have much time and began to run down the library and down the hall out of the library. He had some ground to cover, but he didn't have much trouble covering it at all. Looking to see who was around, Victor stepped once more and seemed to disappear just as he reached a staircase.

A frown formed at the mouth of the Headmaster as his words of kindness fell upon deaf ears. Her voice held a snideness to it her as if she hated his very existence. It was fine though. Although she might have despised him, she would never know or come to terms with, even if she did somehow find out, that it was he who had saved her from death. Her coming to this Academy was no coincidence. It was either come here under his observation or be burned at the stake. He cared for her existence, thinking that she was special, so he begged and pleaded that she be sent here. "Just idle conversation." A smile replaced his small from as he raised his hands in defense. Just then, the bell signaling the start of classes rang and his expression changed yet again into one of surprise. He was never one to judge the time wrong. "Oh my, it's about that time already. It would seem that my timing was off." He spoke before Audrianna ran off past him saying something behind her about him covering for her detention if she were to get one. The young Headmaster sighed as he watched her off and shrugged it off. "Well then, I better get going too." He said to himself as he walked down the stair and exited the library.

[] ❧ Audrianna Hara Black ❧ []

"I am more than just a means to an end."

Audrianna stood in the entrance of the Library. It seemed as though she had returned to the place where she at first this morning was seeking solitude. That was interrupted quickly by the head master. Hopefully when her group showed up no one else would come to interrupt them. The library was virtually empty, since it was at the odd time where students were either eating or in class.

Audrianna stood in the lobby of the library with her back against a bookshelf and her right foot propped up against the same book shelf. Her arms were crossed, and in her right hand she clenched both her exam and the True Cross Academy map. She remembered Ignazio mentioning he needed one, so she grabbed one for convenience. That's also why she left the cafeteria in the first place. On the thought of the cafeteria, Audrianna wondered what Victor thought of her now. She said one innocent thing to him in class, and he seemed to hate her for life. That didn't bother Audri, though. A book couldn't hold the names of all the people that hated her, so Victor was nothing special. However, he would supply her with endless entertainment when he tried to insult her or, possibly, harm her. She didn't like interactions with people, but when classmates tried to insult her or verbally abuse her, it made her day. She loved the bickering and fighting with people, because she was always better at the come backs. She wondered how Victor would manage all day with a sticky face and dirty uniform.

Audrianna looked up at the ceiling as she waited for her fellow exorcists. Her tongue played with her lip piercing again, which is something she normally did when she was bored. She also raised her eyebrows up and down, feeling the piercings move with her movements. She didn't do this for long, though, as she knew her classmates would arrive soon. She didn't want to be making faces when they showed up.

Audrianna knew the meeting place was the Library because Ignazio had e-mailed her about it. He obviously got her e-mail from the class list, because Audrianna didn't give out her e-mail or phone number to anyone. Not even to teachers when they asked. She valued her privacy that way. Unfortunately, teachers had access to her school e-mail. Her personal e-mail was still all her own, thankfully.

Reaching the library Ignazio’s phone was still up and the hologram projector with this email was smaller than usual, in order to keep the messages private and whom they were being sent to. The young silver haired male closed the phone screen canceling out the green opaque projection. The phone was placed back into his pocket as he and Lloyd entered the library. Ignazio made his way to Audrianna and noticed she was holding something, he didn’t know what she had but he hoped it would be useful. ”This place is a lot better to speak in, besides most of the day classes are starting and the Cram students should be the only ones roaming about, but for now, I say we claim this area as main base. I mean we have unlimited access to the knowledge the school has collected so it makes it prime for pretty much everything but combat. So because of that….hey Lloyd, put the close sign on the door. I’ll start drawing a barrier around the entrances to make it seem like the doors are locked to everyone but those who’s within our alliance. No need having outsiders hear what we found. Miss. Black do you think you can go around and make sure no one is here. That shouldn’t be, the only one that we should be keeping is the librarian and they could be more useful than harmful as an ally and a hostage just in case.” Ignazio began to bark out orders as looked around the large space and looking up to the nearly infinite levels.

Walking over to a table he tossed his bag over it and then unzipped the front pocket and grabbed a piece of chalk from it. Making his way to the front door he placed the chalk on to the wall and began to draw a circle and filled it with arcane runes and another language. He proceeded to write the names of himself, Audrianna, Alexandria, Lloyd, and finally Victor in five of the circles but there was one circle empty. After he completed the glyph he went to the other wall on the other side of the second door and drew the same circle again. Taking a step away from the wall he clapped his hands together, with that circle glowed a faint gold in color before rotating clockwise changing the positions of the names. Alexandria and Victor’s names were on the top left of the circle and the others were on the right side. It was like a giant lock. Ignazio looked around for a second as he tried to remember the number of exits and entrances of the building, but then turned and noticed the others were still standing around. ”Oh, Lloyd, you can help me out too, I know you can write a barrier even if you can’t erect one alone, you can still form the circles with me. Alright, let’s go.” he said in a confident way before marching off to the nearest emergency exit.

Alexandria Elaine Ferdinand

Doctor || Knight || Exwire

              Alexandria found herself opening the library door despite the sign that hung on it, marking the place as closed. It seemed whatever they were meeting to conference about was indeed something of secrecy. Alexandria walked further into the immense space, glancing at the tall bookcases as she studied the room. It had been a while since she had been there- truth be told. She looked over to the far wall; it held a few large black boards. There were some words written on it, one a complex looking set of circles containing not only the names of those of this ‘club’ but also stuff that looked more like arcane magic, glowing a golden hue. The other diagram looked much simpler- a simple layout in the shape of a pentagon. This diagram also held their names but it also alluded to the question Alexandria had been wondering as well- if it is based off the Kings and Queens of Gehenna- they missed one King.
              She paced for a short while before finding a seat at one of the tables. Shortly after noticing the pale girl from before off at another table- her name must have been Audrianna. Alexandria sat quietly, leaning back into her chair with her arms crossed over her chest.

        Having entered the library moments after Ms. Black, he could not help but go over to speak with her. "I have to say Ms. Black. Your acting is phenomenal, and while it took a little bit to understand what you were doing, I'm sure anyone that could hear assumed various different things. I just wonder what that will do for Victor's own public approval in the eyes of the other students." Laughing once more, he turned to the doors to see when the others would be arriving. Ignazio was right behind him, but there was no telling how long it would take for Victor to convince Alexandria that she should come to meet with them. Just as he had thought about it, Ignazio had entered in behind him. "Hopefully we won't need to make the poor Librarian a hostage." Moving behind the main desk in the library, he quick found the close sign, and with but a few actions he had placed the sign on the outside of the door. Now, only those who knew where they were meeting would disregard the sign itself, and hopefully others would to the rules and stay away. Just after putting the sign on the door, Alexandria entered the library, and with a kind wave he moved over to the table with Ignazio's belongings before placing his down onto the table as well. He was then asked to write barriers alongside him. "I'll be borrowing some chalk then."

        Reaching into the front part of Ignazio's bag, he quickly took hold of a piece of chalk before following behind Ignazio. While he went to the first emergency exit, Lloyd went towards the final exit. After making sure the door was tightly sealed, he began create the formula needed for the barrier. He had placed the names of those coming in the same spot that Ignazio had done on the first barrier drawing but he could not understand what or who was going into the middle. "We've left a spot blank on each of the seals. I assume that you intend to have one other person join us?" question Lloyd as he moved back towards the front where he and Ignazio had left the others. After sliding the chalk back into his friend's bag, he stepped away from the table in order to clap his hands together twice. Whatever amounts of loose chalk dust had gathered on his hands had now fallen off and dissipated. "Now, we merely need Victor. Ms. Ferdinand, do you know where he went?"

Victor came into the library, ignoring the wards set to deter the other students from coming in. There was a barrier in place and Victor could sense it had been made by Ignazio and his own brand of gold Qi. Victor's hair had been recently drawn back with a bit of paste, leaving a greasy look and a fresh new white shirt shined under his blue vest. There was also the scent of pine that came from him, falling from his skin. It was sure to be the soap that he uses, nothing special in particular. He carried his back pack on his back and a cigarette stashed on the top of his right ear, pointing forward, past his temple. He could see that the Library was nearly empty. Victor spotted his classmates scattered about the first floor. Lloyd seemed to be helping Ignazio with creating barriers to seal off the building, Audrianna had found herself a perch and Alexandria was sitting in one of the tables by herself. He didn't say anything as he made his way inside, only eying Audrianna. Victor pulled out a chair from the table Alexandria was in and sat down, facing her. He offered a smile to her as he sat his bag down beside him and got comfortable. "So are we getting this party started or what?" Victor said nonchalantly rubbing his chin. His left arm was draped over the chair and his right was on the table.

Kris Akatsuki :: Knight :: Aria :: Page

Kris was napping in the library when the other students entered the library. What...? His thoughts were still quite fuzzy from falling asleep on top of one of the shelves while looking up information on the demon kings. It appeared to be a gathering of students who were doing the same assignment, but he did not recognize any if them. He was pretty new after all, and rather nervous when he entered the cram school, so he did not notice most of the other people.

Bang. The book in his hands dropped with a loud sound that could probably resound through the entire library due to the silence that encompassed it. Ahh...there goes my chance of sneaking away, thought Kris, might as well wing it. He wiped his face clean of emotion, though a nervous smile kept popping up no matter how he tried. "Uh... hi? Are you all doing the assignment as well? Do you need any extra help?"

As he spoke, his mind was practically going into overdrive. Ahh... now I've done it. Who would want to invite a random person into their group? It seems that they all know each other too... One of them looks pretty fierce, too. Depressing thoughts began to weigh down on Kris's consciousness as he awaited a reply fron the people in the group.

[] ❧ Audrianna Hara Black ❧ []

"I am more than just a means to an end."

It seemed as though her classmates had arrived quickly, not letting Audrianna wait too long. That was unfortunate, because she was enjoying her solitude in the Library. However, she did kind of want them to be here already so the assignment could get done. The fast the exam was finished, the faster she would know if she was able to move on in the Cram school. She wanted to graduate from this school as quickly as possible to get away from all these hypocritical students and bigot teachers. None of them truly knew what it was like to dangle between both Assiah and Gehenna, and never be accepted by either. If a person residing in Assiah accepted her, it was due to personal gain. If someone from Gehenna accepted her, it was to gain favor with her father or to use her to help them gain leverage against him. Audri sighed at the thought of it all, and unpropped her foot from the book shelf as Lloyed approached her.

"I wasn't acting. He really did try to pay me off to do vile acts to him behind close doors. Unlucky for him that I have self-respect." Audrianna walked away from the bookshelf and Lloyd a few feet before Ignazio came in barking orders. It seemed as though her job was to scout the area to make sure no one was in the Library. Unfortunately, Audri could already sense that there was. Her senses were great for an exorcist, but phenomenal for a demon. She had already felt the presence of another student in the Library, but luckily for them it was an exorcist as well. If it had been a regular student, that would have been a problem.

Audrianna shrugged at Ignazio's orders and began to search the Library. She had to make sure her senses were correct, because if they weren't, she would look foolish in front of her classmates. That was not something she wanted. Audri wanted to be seen more as a threat than a goof. She took off full sprint from the group, her arms flung behind her. Instead of using stairs, she leaped from bookshelf to bookshelf until she was on the second floor. She dashed in and out of aisles, looking for students who still might be in the Library. Audrianna was very fast and agile, and due to being the daughter of Amaimon, she was more flexible than any human could hope to be. Most say she doesn't have a bone in her body with the way she moved. When Audri passed a desk at full sprint, some papers were blown off and scattered onto the ground. She didn't bother to pick them up, because if they were important they wouldn't have been left on the desk. As she made her way into another section of the Library, she stopped on her heals at the sight of the person she had felt the presence of. It was a young boy, and he was asleep. Audrianna didn't bother him, she just merely sneaked away quietly and began her search again.

When she returned to the group, she noticed that Victor and Alex had arrived. That would mean everyone was here besides the one person the empty spot in the markings was meant for. She passed Ignazio and as she did she stated "There is another boy here. He's in the Cram school though. He's asleep." Audrianna wasn't sure how Ignazio would handle the student, as he didn't have an exam and wouldn't prove to be very helpful. "Also, here's an Academy map." she said as she handed the paper off to Ignazio. She held onto her exam, though, not wanting to give that away. Audri was the only one in the group who could read demon, and she wondered what story she could possibly make up to explain why she could, since she knew she would have to translate the exams.

Audrianna looked over at Victor and noticed that he was eying her, rather coldly. She smirked to herself as he turned around to speak to Alex. Audri knew that she bothered him, and she loved it. Her one comment in class could produce so much blood boiling hate in him...how wonderful. The fact that she loved pushing Victor's buttons as far as they would go was probably Audri's demon side coming out. She couldn't help it when people were so bothered by her that they had to make faces or insults that she absolutely adored it. It was what kept her entertained at school. Audrianna made her away over to the table where Victor was sitting. She came up behind him, rather quietly, as he sat and spoke to Alex. He was probably so enthralled with whatever the hell he was talking to her about that he wouldn't notice what would happen next.

Audrianna snatched the cigarette placed behind Victor's ear with her point finger and her thumb. She then began to walk away from the table with a slight skip in her step, almost like she had won a game. She then stopped and lifted the cigarette up to her face as she said "You know, Vic, these things will kill you." Audrianna was obviously teasing. It wasn't like she hadn't smoked a few things in her life time. However, she was half a demon and had a different tolerance than him. Plus, her body healed its damage pretty quickly.

Her eyes then trailed off from the cigarette to stare at the boy who had woken up and entered their group. Her face was blank and her eyes were piercing. She was obviously not a happy camper to begin with, but adding more people into the group would mean more problems for her. She was already at risk for letting her half-demon secret out by being able to read the demon language, but having someone else join in to see that would mean more suspicion. She didn't answer the boy, nor did her eye contact leave his face. She was awaiting an answer from Ignazio, because he ultimately decided whether people were useful or not. He, being of noble blood, had more understandings of exorcism and exorcist families. Audrianna did not.
