Vin gave a heavy sigh, his face falling into a blank stare, looking at the red demon girl's shivering, no, it should be called quaking, form. "Honestly..." He whispered softly. "Stop shaking like that..." The doctor walked up to the door, phone still in hand, a thumb touching the screen at certain intervals when dark blue eyes glanced down at the screen. Eventually the tanned man found what he was looking for and brought the phone up to his ear. "Sir. I found something you need to see. Now, if possible. I'll be in room 400." With that the Doctor ended the voice message, a stressed and exhausted tone evident in his words. Hopefully the Headmaster wasn't busy with anything else, otherwise the Doctor would be babysitting the girl for longer than he desired. Normally he would just contact Hisagi's teacher and let the two of them deal with the girl's presence, but now was the moment of the start of an Exwire exam. Sooner or later Vindictus would be called off to oversee his area of the trials which meant the girl would need to be babysat. Abiel himself was also in charge of the first trial, and thus unable to respond. Rogue would - or at least should - be more concerned with the exam to be called in from the trial. So that left the headmaster, in Vindictus' books.

Pocketing the phone Vin produced a key ring instead. With slow, tired movements of scarred hands the doctor finally found what he was looking for and inserted the silver key into the door, turning it before the handle and pulling both the door ajay and the key free at the same time. Behind the open door would be a cramped, but somewhat average sized room. A large table occupied the center, covered in the glistening glass lab equipment laid bare under the intense gaze of the full moon's light. Along the walls were wooden shelves, heavy with vials and glass containors behind glass sliding doors. Drapping down from the very top of these shelves were various vines from diferent plants. A few of the top surfaces of cabinets were also home to potted plants, flowers, fruits, berries, and thick, lush leaves adorned them.

"Don't touch anything." Vin reminded, motioning the girl to enter with a small nod of the head. "Most of them are poisonous." To humans, Vin added silently, but he disliked people, and demons, he didn't know touching the precious and rare specimens. The doors had opened to room 400, located up on the fourth floor of True Cross Academy, but the key Vindictus had used had cut the distance temporarily. After the girl crossed the threshold, Vin followed.

Alaric walked into Main Courtyard area, he had his hands in his trench coat pocket. Alaric looked around the area, "Even though I been hear for a short while this place already feels like home. I thought coming back to school after all that would make me sadder, but it only made me feel more at ease," he said with a smile. He stopped in front of the fountain that was located at the Main Courtyard. He took another look around and didn't see his friend, Rogue, anywhere. He let out a sigh before he started to speak, "I guess I shouldn't expect him to drop everything and show up." He took his hand out of his pocket and scratched his cheek slightly. He sat down and the edge of the fountain and waited for his friend. He hoped he didn't have to wait long for his friend to show up, he wanted to meet up with someone else and talk about training. He waited for a couple minutes before he leaned his head back and stared up at the sky. "I can't believe I missed out on the Exwire Exam. I guess it couldn't be helped. I wonder how everyone did during the test?" he said out loud. Even though he was depress that he wasn't part of the Exwire Exam, but he hoped that his absence didn't cause any problem. He lowered his head, he looked straight ahead of him, "The only thing I can do is make sure I keep up with them in strength and spirit. Even if I am not an Exwire I will make sure to be at the same level of power." He was determined to get stronger to keep up with everyone and stronger for his father. He wanted to get stronger, so he can find the person who killed his father.

Ignazio exited out of the storage cellar and closed the large metal doors behind him as the passage to the Cram School closed with the doors. Turning around slapped his hands a few times as to remove the dust and rust from his hands that adorn the cylinder handles of the doors. Walking forward Iganzio started to walk through the small forest before reaching the path that lead towards the different Houses of the Academy, on the route to the different dormitories, was a fountain that a lot of students tended to hang out around lunch time, but with classes starting soon, Ignazio figured this route wouldn’t be too crowded. ”I guess I can skip today. It’s too nice of a day to spend indoors learning something I already know about.” he said as he stretched his arms above his head. He soon found himself facing the fountain and then soon, the appearance of a the ebony uniform caught his eyes, the symbol of a member of House Deghinsea; the young tamer’s eyes narrowed a little as he started to shake his head, the young half-demon still had not gained a stronger control over his demonic aura, it was almost like he was asking for someone to come speak to him about it.

The fudge haired male flipped his hair from his eyes as a gentle breeze caressed his cheeks and moved through the strands near the side of his face. He continued forward and stopped before he felt a buzzing in his pocket. Ignazio reached into his pocket and removed his phone and noticed there was an email from the Vatican; the young tamer opened the email in a small holographic letter and took hold of it with his left hand and started to read the announcement. It wasn’t a message on the event he wanted to hear about, it was on something different. ”Erzengel?” he questioned before looking up from the hologram and then looked at Alaric and then back down towards the green projection letter and crushed it in his hands causing the hologram to shatter. Ignazio returned the phone to his pocket and started walking again before stopping a few feet away from Alaric. The young tamer’s hands were in his pockets, his summoning tarot cards still in the holster attached to his right thigh, which he forgot to remove before leaving the cram school, but it was fine at this point, Alaric was still technically a member of the Cram School and even if he wasn’t he was a demon. Ignazio looked at Alaric’s facial and bodily expression and slowly analyzed him, he had sympathy for the boy, but the only way he knew how to help him was to force him out of whatever mood he was in.

The tamer didn’t see any progress in the boy’s appearance, energy, or even his grades, he hadn’t seen or heard of Alaric taking the Exwire Examination either, so for that he wanted to get to the bottom of whatever was going on in the half demon’s mind. ”So, what happened to proving me wrong and getting stronger. You’re still weak, and to be honest, the only thing that’s changed about you is your spiritual energy, it’s grown a little bit, care to explain to me why nothing else about you has changed. Alaric Erzengel.” Ignazio called out hoping to catch the boy off guard due to his senses not being as sharp as they could be. Ignazio started to take a few steps towards Alaric as he spoke and stopped with about ten feet away from the boy once his sentence had been completed.

Alaric was deep in his thoughts as he waited for his classmate, Rogue to show up or at least hear back from him, but it doesn't seem like that was going to happen any time soon. "Maybe I should meet up with Rogue later and just try to look for..." he muttered under his breath before he heard a familiar voice and a familiar manner of speaking by the matter. "I was just about to look for you Igan...." he said as he turned his head and notice the person who spoke to him didn't look like the Ignazio he remembered. His right eyebrow arched slightly upward and tilted his in confusion. "Wait you aren't..." he said before he stop himself. He got up from his sitting position, he walked about two steps towards the man in front of him and now was looking up at his face. "You sound like him, you are also the same height as him, and you give off the same presence, but you look different the him," he muttered, but since he was so close to him, Ignazio could hear him. His sky blue eyes made contact with Ignazio's eyes. After a few seconds Alaric smiled, "Your definitely him," he said as he took a step back. He knew Ignazio wouldn't like him to be that close.

"I was just about to go looking for you, but it seem like you found me instead. I really do love what you did with your hair, it makes you look older," he said with a cheerful smile. Alaric kept his cheerful act up and hid his sorrow, he didn't want to drag Ignazio in his drama.Alaric let out a sigh before stretch his right arm and started to scratch the back of his head, "Yeah about tha.." Instead of continuing with his own question he decided to answer Ignazio's. "I had some family issue, so I had to rush back home, so I wasn't able to get training in and I missed the Exwire Exam," he said. He had no idea Ignazio knew of his father death, Alaric hasn't got a chance to read the new email he got from the Vatican. He lowered his right arm back to his side as he spoke, "I shouldn't make excuses though." He smiled at Ignazio again, "Even though I missed out on some training and more importantly the exam doesn't mean I am going back on my word. I am still going to become stronger. That is actually why I wanted to see you." He stared at Ignazio for a moment, but suddenly his upper body bent down into a bow, "I know you have mix feelings for me and think I am not worth your time. You think I am weak and just a half demon. Knowing all this I am here to ask for your help. I want you to train me." A few moments passed and Alaric rose back up and made eye contact with the Exwire, "I know I told you I would get stronger and I could work hard on my own or even with a teacher, but I believe you can teach me more because you won't go easy on me. So please can you train me?" Alaric kept their eyes connected. He knew he was asking a lot, but he had to take a chance since he believe Ignazio was the only person who could train the way he needed.

Ignazio turned his head in a scruff after being examined so closely. ”It’s my natural hair and eye color, if you studied more you’d know there is a lot one can do with manipulating the flow of their Qi in their body. Some people can even revert to looking like small children.” but soon was caught off guard as Alaric bowed to him and practically was begging for him to help make him stronger; the young tamer knew the boy thought of him as a rival of sorts, but asking your rival and your senior for help was something completely, out of the blue and could be seen as humiliating to most, especially for Ignazio. With a single hand the brown haired boy patted Alaric on his shoulder and took a step away from him before starching the back of his head. ”Look dude, there is no need to ask me for help like that; technically we are on the same side, even if I don’t like you. Besides, you lost someone recently, and during a period of growth I understand how that is.” Ignazio started before turning around to face Alaric again.

”Just know, I won’t go easy on you at all, and you may die.” he said boldly as his azure eyes looked at Alaric’s eyes through his glasses. Ignazio was only agreeing to help the male because of the passing of his father, but if it wasn’t for that reason, he would have agreed to help the boy. When Ignazio’s mother passed away he knew the feeling of closing off one’s heart and feeling s and pouring everything into just training; he didn’t want to see someone else go through that. That feeling alone was too painful for Ignazio. ”Just look, you need to promise me, you’ll stop pretending to be happy, control your emotions before you can control your powers. If you can’t control your internal problems you’ll never be able to control your external ones.” Ignazio said as he shoved both hands deep into his trousers pockets.

Flipping his hair slightly passed his eyes Ignazio revealed a smile to Alaric, one that wasn’t evil but not one of happiness, it was one of pure ecstasy for the simple fact of imagining the demise of the boy. Could the half demon survive whatever Ignazio could throw at him? Would he give up before the day was over? The thoughts raced through Ignazio’s mind as he watched Alaric’s body motions. ”Since you’ve already missed a lot of classes, you can skip today too, three days, I’ll give you three whole days of nothing but training with me. But I won’t be going easy on you. I’ll be attacking you as if we were meeting on the field, full contact. So there won’t be a reason to hold back. Understand?”

Alaric eyes widen a bit when Ignazio mention about losing someone, "How did you..." Alaric stopped and smiled. He shouldn't be surprised that Ignazio knew. Alaric reached into his pocket, got his phone out and looked at his emails, he sighed slightly, "Of course. I guess that news would spread pretty fast." He placed his phone back in his pocket before Ignazio turned back around to face him. He smirked at Ignazio comment, "Well you heard of the old saying, what doesn't kill you, will make you stronger. So I think that type of training would be best." Alaric knew what he was asking for. He knew that Ignazio will kill him if he left an opening. This was the best way, no, he knew this was the only way he can reach higher in his skill.

Alaric thought about the upcoming training was interrupted with Ignazio making him to promise to stop pretending and work on his emotions. Alaric looked down a bit, Alaric figured his act wouldn't last long with Ignazio, but this wasn't the reason why he looked down. "My father use to tell me that all the time. I never been good expressing any other emotions. I always been a happy person even if I was getting my a** handed to me by my father. He always thought I was faking my true emotions, but honestly I was truly happy when I was training with him. It was the only time he acted like his true self." he said. He kept his head down slightly as tears fell from his face, "However now I have no clue how I feel. I always felt some type of happiness, but now I have all these emotions. Some I can figure out and others I can't. You're right though" His head jerked up and his tears flew upward as he looked at Ignazio once again. "I promise I will work to control my emotions during your training. I won't let them get in the way," he said as he wiped the tears out of his eyes.

The smile that Ignazio gave Alaric was one that he would question a lot in that few seconds. After a few thoughts he realize that smile wasn't that of ill will or kind heartiness, but that of joy, joy to see how far he can push Alaric. At first Alaric was a little hesitate, but regain his mental composer. "Three days? Going to get my skill that high within three days?" he asked, but he didn't want an answer. Another smirk appeared on his, unlike the last one this was bigger, he was excited. Was he excited for the training or just the fact he could die at any moment during the training, either way he was excited, "Sounds like its going to be fun."

The tamer turned and started to walk in the opposite direction of the Academy Houses and headed in the direction of the forest that circled the academy. ”Fun for me and Hell for you. You’ll be wishing that you never asked for this type of punishment Erzengel. Follow me.” Ignazio said as he continued walking and started to explain the training while he walked in the direction of the forest. ”First, you won’t be eating for the next three days, this training will be over the course of twenty-four hours, so all you’ll be doing is training without any sleep, and if you manage to get sleep, I advise you to get as much as you possibly can.” The tamer was starting to sound like his father which caused him to stop walking and chuckle a little before he looked up to the sky and laughed even harder. ”Great, now I sound like that b*****d, what is my world even coming to.” Ignazio said out loud, as what he said was meant to be a personal thought. Although, at this rate he could get a little practice in of his own. He could force Alaric into learning to utilize his demonic powers as well as his Exorcist skills without relying too much on his half-blood skills.

It was still pretty early in the day, so the chance of them getting caught or in trouble for using a technical forbidden area was a little lower, just because it was the middle of the day, and with that the demonic activity would be a lot lower, Ignazio knew that from personal experience, he remembered his own final exam he took before the previous semester was over with a certain demon instructor whom didn’t know how to take no as an answer. Ignazio continued to walk waving Alaric along making sure he was keeping up with him. ”If you want to eat, you’ll have to find your own meals within the area, you won’t be permitted to leave for an entire three days, and I won’t be allowing you to leave either.” Ignazio said as they were approaching the grassy outer lands before reaching the forest. The stone path was slowly turning into dirt and rocks and eventually patches of grass and dirt the further they walked.

The heir turned his head and looked at Alaric slightly before turning back to face the massive forest in the clearing. ”Remember if you’re going to survive this, you’re going to want to kill me, and if you don’t I’ll end up killing you before you can even blink. During that little display, you caught me off guard and I lost my temper. Trust me, that won’t be happening again, I won’t hesitate to kill you and I won’t be pulling my punches either. Now before we reach this forest, I suggest you make up your mind about this training, because we will be breaking about fifty school rules, just by being in this area alone.”

The half demon started to follow, Ignazio and made sure he didn't fall behind. This experience might actually be hell for Alaric, but he didn't care, he made his decision and was going to stick with it. "I won't be eating at all and no sleeping?" he began to think too himself. He did think not eating was going a little bit over board, but he couldn't complain too Ignazio about it. If he did, Ignazio would try to kill him now for wasting his time. A slight confusion came upon, Alaric as his trainer said something he couldn't understand, but figured the comment wasn't for him and decided not to mention anything about it.

He remembered he was waiting for Rogue, so he pulled out his phone and started to text a quick message.

"Hey sorry, but I have to cancel the plans I made. I will be busy for awhile. I will make sure to contact you when I get some free time."

He hit send, he then shut off his phone and placed it into his pocket. He didn't want to get any calls during the training.

After awhile Alaric started to figure out where they were headed, a place he never really visited, nor did he care about them at the time. However as they got closer his curiosity did start to run wild, "I don't know why, but up until now I never cared about this forest. I just figure it was a normal forest, but as we get closer I can feel its not a normal forest. This training might be a little more troublesome then he first thought. Thoughts of backing down were interrupted when, Ignazio mention he could eat as long as he got the food from the forest. Relief poured over him as he thought he wouldn't starve during this training, but soon realize that he would have to get food out of the forest that gives off such a dark vibe. Could he really be able to stay in this forest for three days, a whole seventy-two hours? Was he getting himself into something that he couldn't get himself out of? All these thoughts poured through his head as they drew near the forest, but suddenly the thought of his father passed through his mind. "Right I am not just doing this for myself, but for my father. I need to become strong. I have to be able to carry the Erzengel name proudly," and with that thought all his doubt washed away. He stopped a couple feet away from Ignazio, he looked up at the massive forest as he spoke. For this training he knew he had to think Ignazio as an enemy and have to want to kill him. If he didn't then Ignazio would kill him, even if this was a training. "I understand completely. I know I have to fight you as if I want to kill you. Also I wouldn't want you too hold your punch. That is the reason why I came to you and not a teacher. So shall we begin? I am personally at the point where I can't back down from this," he said as he clinched his fist. Luckily he had all of his equipment except his father sword, Mimung, but in the long run it was a good thing. He need to learn how to fight as a Fighter Class and work on his Qi.

Agnès “Clementine” Edelfelt

Aria || Tamer || Upper 1st Class

        Her chauffeur stopped just in front of the main gate, an imposing looking bronze building. It towered several stories above and each floor lined with numerous glass windows. The young man made his way round and opened the passenger side door for the young heiress to step out of. She nodded her head as she looked toward the main gate that stood at the top of the hill. “We will be in touch.” Agnès said to her chauffeur, her icy gaze didn’t connect with his own before she began to walk towards the dark building before her. The man simply nodded before closing the passenger door and heading off towards the driver side. The familiar rumble soon began to dissipate as the young heiress reached the slopping steps.

        At the top of the steps the paved path flattened, a row of columns propped up on either side of the path. A massive set of glass windows distinguished the entrance way, Agnès pushed one of the doors open and passed through the lobby intended to help visitors find their way and many of the Academy’s Business Offices. Her icy gaze scanned the lobby as she made her way through towards the other side. In truth, it looked like a busy day. Secretaries busily tapped away on keyboards, speaking into the small mics they wore or directly to one of the few dozen families waiting to get assistance with enrollment or some other issue. Agnès pressed through another set of glass doors and back to the outside world.

        It took a few moments for her icy eyes to adjust to the difference of light between the lobby and True Cross’s courtyard. But it was well worth it, the grounds were always meticulously maintained and pleasant to look at- regardless what season it was. It was just past many student’s lunch hour and many could still be seen with packed lunches- sitting out in the lush green grass enjoying the fine day with friends. Others could be seen running between the different buildings in the distance. Yet, despite the serene atmosphere presented before her, Agnès could sense something more foul was within reach.

        The young heiress shook her head; there in fact was some reason for the Vatican’s concerns. The grounds reeked with demonic energy- energy young, weak demons struggled to control. Causing them to leave a trail, not unlike the qi signatures left by humans or other living beings. Most of the School’s students- Exorcist or not wouldn’t know what to look for when tracking demons or even tracking another’s qi signature. Making True Cross an ideal place to take young demons and half breeds to teach them the exorcist arts without much risk of someone hunting them down. But such an operation wasn’t without its risks, in the past it wasn’t unheard of for True Cross to have a few students of demonic origin… But, there were quite a few more than a few residing within the walls of True Cross today. ‘What are you thinking Tavion…?’ She thought as she pressed herself towards the far end of the courtyard- towards the heart of True Cross. A place where she could begin to get a more accurate sense of the numbers of the demonic anomalies she sensed.

Agnès “Clementine” Edelfelt

Aria || Tamer || Upper 1st Class

        The young heiress drew near to the heart of the academy, the clock town towering above. It was a beautiful sight, how the bricks seemed to glow with the light of the sun, complemented by the glittering glass and fine details of the building’s architecture. It pained her heart how the beauty of it was likely lost among the scurrying students around her. They were frequently blind to their surroundings- not noticing or caring if something were… a miss. Agnès couldn’t blame them as the next hour of classes had likely begun- but it was something she hoped wouldn’t haunt them. Especially those who chose to study exorcist arts. Blind and oblivious was one of the many things that would end a life quicker than anything else could.

        Agnès turned her gaze to the students around her for a brief moment, barely noticing the slight change in the clouds as a helicopter bore down on the roof top. The sound was something that alarmed even the oblivious- ‘A helicopter? What for?’ Agnès thought to herself as her gaze shifted upwards once more as soon as she recognized the sound. She watched as figures leaped out from the machine’s hull. From what little she could see- they were likely armed, and wore some sort of dark colored suit. A final figure made an appearance, his suit notably different- seeming to be a rich red in color. But from where she stood nothing more could be gained But it didn’t stop the gears from turning as she pieced together the pieces. She could only conclude the only person normally here worth making such an entrance for was the Arc Knight. Even the demons she could sense running around wouldn’t need such a grand entrance to be captured. A single man or woman could take care of them. Which then left the Vatican’s concerns- evidently; there must have been some disagreement with how to deal with Travion Vega. Agnès knew she had orders to investigate but, there were a few others who would push for more than an investigation. Namely the Barthomeloi family, one of the few things in the world the Edelfelt and the Barthomeloi would agree on was the poor choice to place Vega as an Arc Knight. The Edelfelt didn’t have the same prominence in the Vatican or among the Grigori as the Barthomeloi; her mother served a single master. One whom some saw merely as a figure head.

        Agnès adverted her icy gaze from the spectacle on the roof top. ‘Looks as if Ignazio the first has come to finish the job. Not much else I’ll be needed here for. But- there is still the question of all the demonic auras of this place.’ She told herself as she closed her eyes, standing silently as she took a moment to focus her qi before sending it out in subtle waves from her feet. Creating a visual map of qi signatures in her mind as she began to track some of the demonic anomalies- it wouldn’t be long till she’d reach her max range. A range that covered a majority of the Academy, including portions of the forest beyond.

Agnès “Clementine” Edelfelt

Aria || Tamer || Upper 1st Class

        As her qi waves began to return a visual picture began to form- one which showed the majority of the signatures being normal. And even more of those were weak like a child’s. But, her suspicions were further confirmed, from where she stood she had been able to detect several demons or half breeds with in two thousand meters. One seemed fairly close within one of the House’s.. Which house exactly wasn’t something she could recall anymore; it’d been at least six years since the last time she had set foot on campus. However, there seemed to be a concentration of demons a fair distance into the forest. She could faintly pick up on their auras, but it was overwhelming the essence of a single qi signature in that area. Multiple variations of its existing in close proximity- concluding some sort of fight was in the process. ‘A tamer and his familiars…? Why…?’ She wondered to herself.

        Agnès opened her eyes and briefly looked around; noticing the spectacle above was quickly becoming the cause of much gawking and idle talk. Students around her spoke about wild theories, some including how the NSA must have been taking out the head master for his illegal deals. Agnès could only chuckle at the thought of what stupid thoughts went through people’s heads. And how they seemed to come up with the most ridiculous stories from nothing at all. But, she wasn’t about to intervene with that matter. She had her own suspicions of what was happening, and that changed the goal of her mission entirely. If someone had pushed for the Arc Knight’s detainment then her mission went from reconnaissance to being able to provide evidence to his guilt. Of these things, a fairly high demon to human ratio could be cited- as many considered demons to be inherently dangerous. Especially how unpredictable and uncontrollable young demons could become. It wasn’t a view she shared, she saw the potential for demons to work alongside humans. But, an order was an order, a job just a job, and if it came to it she wouldn’t hesitate to thin the population. Agnès was no demon lover.

        Her icy gaze looked up towards the skies briefly- looking for the illusive shine of the iridescent beast scales. It didn’t take but a moment to find him, flying high above. Agnès couldn’t help feel a bit relieved An’givare hadn’t felt the need to draw near to the helicopter. If the man in the red suit was Ignazio the first, he would have noticed the demon’s presence and the young dragon wouldn’t be a welcome sight. Her gaze returned to the Academy before her, mentally she flipped through memories to find the best path to the forest. There had been a weakness in the wall even when she had gone to school. Agnès had done her fair share of breaking the rules in search of a real challenge.

        Agnès began to walk towards the forest of screams- her pace fairly rapid as she could sense there was something unusual going on with those woods. Something she was most curious to find out about.

┗ Titus Fulbright ┓
► Son of Satan ◄
Exwire || Knight || Berserker || Kurthnaga ||

╔══════════════════════╗

Titus had jogged from the East side of the academy to the courtyard. The school was pretty large, and if the students got anything out of attending the True Cross Academy, it was that they would be more physically fit than other students because of the size of the campus. It was almost like a castle, to Titus anyway.

As he settled his jog to a walk, Titus took a deep breath, and relaxed himself a little. He put his hands over his head, and shifted his weight to his back leg. "Where should I go now? I don't really know any of the other Exwires that well... How the hell am I gonna find anyone?" The young man thought to himself, as he took a seat on a stair, and peering around. Students were walking in and out of the building, so it was either a passing period, or some of them were getting out of class. The young man drooped his head, discouraged by the fact that he hadn't gathered a team yet. He needed one by the next day, or else he'd get yelled at by the doctor on campus; Doctor Blacklace.

Deciding that nothing could be done about team members at the moment, Titus took out the demonology book that he stole borrowed from his roommate. He remembered the words that the doctor told him about being prepared, and opened the book. The young man flipped through the pages, reading about each demon carefully. The more he read, the more his brows furrowed. It was his first time trying to study up on something in a long time. In all honesty, it was not as hard as one thought, if they just put their mind to it. While half way through a page describing Goblins in full detail, he began to think aloud. "People heard animal footsteps...and howling...It can't be a goblin.." Turning the pages, he found the next section: Ghouls. His eyes slowly scanned the page, trying to process the information in the text. Sometimes he would shake his head, and read at an even slower pace than the last if he didn't understand a part. As he read that section, trying to understand what exactly a ghoul could do, and how to deal with it, he thought aloud once again. "A... Ghoul? It has to be this, I know it!" Smiling, he kept on reading it, trying to find a way to dispatch the enemies quickly with the information given. He had no talent for memorizing sutras and prayers, so any fatal verses were out of the question. Ghouls were kin of Astaroth, according to the book, so fire should kill them, easy. Where was he gonna get a fire wielder from?

The young man thought about it for a while holding his chin in his palm. Then, as if he got slapped by some random side character, it hit him; Maybe he could use his own flames? As soon as his facial features lit up, they went back to a stern and serious face. He couldn't use his flames for three reasons. One, he could not reveal the fact that he was the son of Satan. Two, he did not have the ability to control his powers just yet, so he would most likely destroy whatever part of the school the ghouls were in, and get kicked out of the order and most likely get executed. And the third reason; He had no confidence in his demonic powers. He only used them twice in his life, and that was during his page exam, and when he had first awakened to the abilities that came with being the son of Satan. On both occasions, people ran away from him in fear, disgust, and hatred. Because of this, he kept Kurikara sheathed, and rejected his demon self as much as he could. Hiding the tail was probably the hardest part for him though. Sighing, he kept reading on the stairwell, hoping to gain as much information as possible.

Ignazio was in a rather interesting mood; although he was smiling he was actually rather angry deep down. The young tamer walked as he thought about the little session that he had started and it was interrupted by the senior exorcist. He soon found himself reaching the staircase in front of the school but as he was about to enter he noticed the silver haired half demon from before. Cocking his eyebrow slightly, Ignazio placed his right hand on his waist and then reached down and took the book that Titus was reading away from him before turning around and looking at the cover of the book and then closing it. ”You know, if you’re going to study for a class like this you should do it in your room.” he said as he shook the book in his hand from left to right and started to walk away from the crowd with it, in order to bait Titus to follow him.

Ignazio continued to walk until reaching the fountain in the center of campus away from everyone. He wanted to keep the conversation a secret from the other students who may be in passing time now. The tamer sat down on the marble structure and listened to the water as it sprayed into the air and lightly rained down back into the pool. The infinity pool was peaceful and had managed to bring the young tamer back into a thought on the different styles he witnessed today. Alaric was extremely rough when it came towards his methods of attack and defense, he wasn’t technically trained in terms of an art craft, and clearly was very proud and overconfident in his demonic bloodline. While Akemi, was precise and calculating, she hesitates often when it comes to making choices and fears her demonic powers even if it appears that her life may be at risk, she still rather rely on bullets rather than her demonic heritage. Both belonging to the top of the brass of demons of their kind, Ignazio couldn’t help but chuckle at the very thought of the two half demons, and then finally there was Titus. Ignazio had never seen him in combat, but he knew that he wasn’t a very good student or cared much for secrets, as he was openly reading a demonology book in broad daylight around other students.

The tamer soon grew bored of waiting on Titus to catch up or even decide to follow him so far out, so he started to look through the pages of the book and flipped to the page that Titus was once reading. ’Ghouls?’ Ignazio thought as he questioned the chapter and soon remember something he read in the mission form for the academy, it was a request from the student council and they even asked him personally while he was meeting with them about an organization he was planning on starting. Ignazio thought about the rumors they spoke about the shook them off just as that; rumors. But then Ignazio heard a strange growling, which caused him to stand up from the marble and look around. ”What was that?” Ignazio asked out loud as he started to look around and expanding his Qi but didn’t find anything within his range.

”The presence is gone. What the hell was that just now?” he thought as he couldn’t find a source of demonic energy or anything within his range. Ignazio knew the roar wasn’t anything from something so simple as a ghoul. ”Perhaps, I will take them up on their request. This seems interesting.” he muttered as he looked down at the demonology book and soon looked in the direction in which Titus would have to walk through to get to him.

Titus was diligently reading, minding his own business, until a person stood over him, and stopped, right next to him. He looked over his shoulder to see a guy around his height, reaching for his book. The brown haired upperclassman took the book right out of his hands, telling him that he should study in his room. He walked off with his book, as if it were the thing to do these days. Confused, the boy gave a blank stare toward the brown haired Bartholemoi, and blinked twice. "Eh..? H-hey! Wait up!" The silver haired half breed quickly got up, and followed his upperclassman to wherever he was going. A barrier known as a crowd of True Cross students seemed to impede the boy from making any immediate progress forward, but he could still see the brown pony tail bouncing with each step its owner took.

Shifting and almost swimming through the students going to their classroom, he stopped, and caught his breath. He looked around slowly, trying to scan the open area for the aforementioned brunette. "Where did he go..." His gaze caught the person he was looking for, and he started to head over to him. The young half demon stopped in his tracks, hearing a strange growling, causing his expression to change into a serious one, brows furrowed. The hell? That wasn't a dog?! Who in the world said THAT was a dog? The young man thought this to himself, surprised that someone thought that the growling was coming from a dog. Still heading toward the Barthomeloi heir, he tried to look around to find the source of the demonic growl. As he reached his target, he stuck out his hand, asking for the book that was taken from him. He said he would take up a request, and that he was interested. It seems that the brown haired boy in front of him wanted to take out the source, causing the silver haired half breed to speak.

"The request? From the student council? You're talking about the one to stop whatever the hell that was, right?" Still sticking his hand out, he shook his head a little and focused on the book for a moment. "I'll need the book back though, if you would be so kind." The boy tilted his head to the side a little, smiling. He wanted to make this conversation short and sweet, but at the same time, he realized that the young man in front of him might be able to help him with the request. Would he be so kind? Just a few hours ago or so, he got the not-so-bright student turned into a delinquent and a pervert in a matter of seconds. This encounter could definitely turn out bad if he were to say the wrong things...

Upon Titus coming to confront him about taking the book, Ignazio closed the book and then began to tap it on his right shoulder as he shook his head. ”You want it back? Next time do you Cram School homework in your room.” he asked with a smile before holding the book out to the half demon. ”And if I was? The whole point is to put an end to the rumors and stop whatever is causing the strange howling sound.” The tamer said sarcastically as he knew what the mission was about but he wasn’t amused with Titus and his free world loving world he thought he was in. It only made the tamer angry as he thought about it. Turning his head away from Titus, the Barthomeloi heir pointed in the direction of the school with his thumb and over his shoulder. ”If I had to put my money down, it’s a summoned creature that hasn’t been completely materialized into Assiah.” Ignazio said as he closed his eyes for a second allowing the wind to brush through his hair for dramatic effect before opening his blue eyes to meet with the eyes of Titus. ”If you’re thinking it’s a ghoul, it’s not.” Ignazio snapped before pushing the book into Titus’ arms and started to walk away from him slowly. Folding his arms behind his back and listened to the tapping of his leather soles against the stone path around the fountain.

Ignazio turned around and looked at Titus and gave a smirk. ”You know, you really are an idiot. First, Ghouls don’t come out in the day, due to the fact their powers are severally weakened in the sunlight. Also they have the horrible scent of rotting flesh. It’s something that’s hard to miss.” the young man said as he began to circle Titus like a hawk as he spoke. ”Why are you looking into this? Whatever it is, you clearly can’t handle on your own, and I’m pretty sure whoever else is working with you won’t be able to take this thing on. It sounded large, and dangerous. I’m pretty sure it’s even an illegal summoned creature, one on the level of a Demon King, if not a little weaker.” Ignazio said in a dark tone in order to scare the half demon. Ignazio didn’t know if it would work or not, but there was a lot one could tell about a man, if they ran away from a challenge just out of pure fear alone, especially when they didn’t know the cause of what they were afraid of.
