Room B68? What was going on, and why was Harrison in the basement, and bugs? Jordan didn't bother trying to ask any of these questions via text, though; he hauled his coat on and took off at a run.
The stench that came rolling out of the room as he arrived gave him pause briefly. He got the nausea under control and hurried inside. It was maggots, not the crawly, leggy things he'd been half afraid he'd find; he felt almost guilty for being intensely relieved about that. Still, the things were huge, and they were piling up around Rep and Harrison. "The hell," Jordan said, but he summoned Ferros.
The maggots made a disgusting squelching sound. Ferros wasn't unhappy about the Fear to feed on, but a flicker of though demanded that Jordan polish him later.

The basement was starting to become an almost home, if home was damp and in sore needing of being bleached from ceiling to floor. Over the last few weeks, Konstantin had grown more familiar with its dark passageways, enough that he could walk within it with surer footing than before.
Of course, he still had to use Syntax to light his way, and occasionally he would feel something watching him from the dark beyond, but... Such things were to be expected. It was little more than a trick of his overactive imagination.
There was little time for imagination, now. A text had been sent out, and while Kostya had no affection for Harrison, he had a great deal of loyalty towards America and the almost-home that the basement kingdom had become. With one hand pressed to the rough-hewn stone wall, Kostya navigated his way to the room in question; B68. It was easy to follow the sounds of combat and bitching. He looked at the room opposite of it, wondering what was inside of the elusive B69: it surely couldn't be so bad as the mess in 68.
He coolly regarded Rep and Harrison, although he had no strong feelings towards Jordan either way, and fired. An arc of electricity flew from his arm to a series of bugs, obliterating them.
Kostya opted not to say anything to anyone, lest he be tempted to make comments that would get him left beneath a writhing pile of bugs as offering.

Rep was very glad of the help as and when it arrived, though in the middle of the fray he was still deeply concerned for the wellbeing of his possessions.
"It's important to kill the bugs." he said to Jordan as the other Sun arrived, like the most welcome cavalry. "But don't ******** up my stuff. Um. Welcome to the hoard I guess. Thanks for coming."
Kostya's arrival was met with a far more suspicious look, Rep giving him nothing more than a nod, as long as they were working for a common goal he'd stay out of the other hunter's way and ask only the same in return.
Harrison got a smirk for his staunch defence as Rep edged around him and swung hard at the massed creatures. "Everyone being dead was a bit of a downer. Though can't complain about present company." he nodded to B0nez.

America pocketed her phone with a grimace. They were never gonna be done with repairs down here. But at least Harrison has recognized her authority which should counter any s**t-stirrer seeds Scotland had planted.
Summoning Stryker, she took off down the hall in a brisk jog. Upon entering the room she saw a hideous mass of ******** abs attacked. Unfortunately it was just some weird s**t somebody had collected and thrown in here.

"Hold on, answering some twits," Harrison grumbled, while he multitasked.
"Thanks for coming. And okay. Fair point. Makes me and him half-dead, or something. I don't even know why they attacked, we practically belong on ghost cruises."

Jordan nodded politely to Kostya and America as they arrived. More help was always appreciated when dealing with bugs. Or, for that matter, anything too large to squash alone.
He paused to shoot Rep a venomous glare. "Are you serious. Your collection generated these things, and -- Jesus ******** Christ, dude, really?" He brought Ferros up and around in an overhead swing into a mass of maggots, all the force of his irritation and frustration concentrated behind it. It was probably a good thing that this was the basement. Ferros made a small crater in the floor.

While Milo didn't really have too much of a problem with bugs, even with the last time he had found some not far down the hall or that time in the desert and a few other times after that. He mostly had a problem with the idea of them getting into his stuff, as small a collection as it was. Bugs down the hall... again, that just didn't seem awesome at all.
And apparently, they had originated from someone else's stuff, he gathered when he finally got down there (he had not been in his room the time and had to make it down) and joined the collective of people that had already gathered. Not without making a sort of entrance though, coming in with a 'whoop,' a spin, and slamming his naginata down on a few of the bugs while he was at it.

It was not so much out of a desire to help Rep and Harrison that Taym separated himself from his reading as it was that he'd been reading for hours and was fairly aching for something mindless and physical to do. The addition of Kostya and America to the fray cemented the decision, and he'd followed the noise more than the room numbers.
True to his nature Taym did not make a splashy Milo-esque entrance, nor did he, unfortunately, arrive with a literal bang in the way of Jordan. He did, however, skewer something wriggling and disgusting on his way through the door, gazing at it in open disgust.

Rep snorted out loud at Harrison's comment. "Tweets dude. Though there are plenty twits on there." Though Milo got a toothy grin for his help, clearly exempt from this estimation.
He was expecting to take the news of what they were dealing with slightly less than well, so he flinched when he snapped about the mess and almost jumped out of his skin when Ferros crunched into the ground and several hapless bugs.
"Some of them had names. I cared for them all right. They only eat rotting things!!" Once again, carefully - he was getting paranoid now - he swung at one of the many many ******** maggots.

It appeared that he was privy to an argument of a domestic variety. Kostya offered a nod to the three that entered that he knew and recognised, sidling away from the crater that had been left there.
"Poor choice in pets," he added, lightly, shooting one in the...area where its face would have been. "Recommend minipet."

Having arrived just in time to hear that the things he was slaughtering were apparently Rep's pets, Taym's second foray in among the maggots came with somewhat more enthusiasm.
"Don't give him any ideas, Bashmet," he suggested brightly, albeit through gritted teeth as he shook a body off the end of his knife and looked like he might throw up. "Maggots seem ideally suited to his personality. They say your pets start to look like you after a while," he added, jabbing a knife demonstratively at something writhing on the floor.

B0nez had a charge, but Harrison held on to it...he was getting swamped. The bug muck had caked into a glue that made it harder to move around, and he kept getting confronted with wriggly, angry mouth after wriggly, angry mouth.
They had more help, which was good.
"Sorry, Jordan," is all Harrison had to say, as he slogged through the gore.

"... some of these are your pets?" One part disturbed, one part fascination. "No.. judging or anythin'" Milo waved a hand in defense as he kind of stabbed at another little bug.
Though, he did recall a conversation on twitter about how lame it was to want a bunny.
