The redhead almost jumped off the chair as Axel revealed the dark mystery behind his missing eye.
"But... how?.. I mean, was it a witch frog? can normal frogs do that? I'm certainly not going to let Illo bring frogs to the apartment"
She stated, about to grow up a ranidaphobia any minute now.

She replied unaware of her situation or why would Axel be laughing right now.
"Frogs could just pop out of nowhere and eat our eyes out any minute, that's certainly not a matter of laugh"
She stated looking around, finding everything suspicious.

"oh how could you trick med!? I litterally thought frogs were now some sort of madness condensers and start bitting people's eyes off to spread madness and all that stuff."
One could tell she was really pissed about it.
"I was just this close to kick a friend out of our appartment if he ever showed up with a single frog! You sir are just plain evil"
She stated before a waiter showed up.
"Cheese cake!!"
Demanded the girl at once, forgetting about the subject completely for just a few seconds before the waiter went to take Axel's order.

As the waiter left to order, Melani went back to her little outrage.
"oh now you want to talk about how you lost you eye huh? What's next? chimps? homming birds? glittering fairy vampires?"
She asked unsure if he would actually say the truth or just made up another story to traumatize her into maybe kicking poor Illo out of the residence because of inexplicable phobias.

"I lost it when I was 10. When I was training with an instructor of mine, he shot an especially powerful soul wavelength through my eye, virtually destroying it."

After hearing Axel's second story, she remained skeptical as she cocked an eyebrow at the boy.
"well that sounds more reasonable, but why would an adult shoot a powerful soul wavelength to a 10 yr old?!"
She asked calmly, despite the fact she felt angry towards said instructor for harming little children rather than being freaked out like last time.
"And you said partially, meaning you still have it...partially?"

Replied Melani, still not having a good impression of Axel's former superiors. She would slid her eyes back at the eyepatch as the look in them would sadden lightly.
"Does it hurt?..."
She couldn't believe he would happen to loose his eyes at such a young age, and not even by the enemy but a friendly fire.
Moments later, the waiter arrived, leaving the orders at each side of the table.

The german accent should had stated that as obvious, however after being startled with the eye eating frogs, she sorta forgot about that detail.
"Well your family seems lo like awfully strict teachers. No offense but i wouldn't had taken that training."
