"N?" he asked, remembering the strange fellow. "Are you sure you don't have a little crush on him?" he asked, of course he was joking. Taking Shira's hand, Atticus opened the door, "Well anyway, lets get going."
Shira unlocked the door to the apartment and stepped in, moving to the side to let Ellise come in and look around. "The extra bedroom is over there to the left." she told her with a polite smile.

━━━━━━━━━━━━ Ellise walked in, looking around quietly for a few moments. She looked at Shira "Thank you very much." she said with a small bow. ━━━━━━━━━━━━
Atticus was the last one to enter the apartment, shutting the door behind him. Watching as Shira pointed her towards the extra bedroom, Atticus would remain quiet for a bit, something that was not unusual for him, but for this one moment, he was like a different person. "no need to be so polite, this is you home now, as well." Atticus would finally say as he started towards the couch, but would stop abruptly and fall forwards, hitting the ground rather hard.
Shira quickly went over to Atticus as he fell on the ground "H-Hey!" she started. "You need to lay down..." she muttered as she tried to get Atticus up.

━━━━━━━━━━━━ Ellise went over to both of them "We really need to look into what that mark is about..." she muttered. She pulled out a slip of paper and wrote on it then. ━━━━━━━━━━━━
Atticus would gently push himself away from Shira, showing that he is still able to stand and move on his own. "I-I'm fine." he told her before standing up and sitting down on the couch. Grabbing his chest as the mark was glowing once again, the only conclusion from this, is that the more it glows and pulsate, the more Atticus' body is in pain and his energy is drained. "This is nothing." he said smiling as Ellise began writing something on a piece of paper. "All I need is rest."
Shira frowned at Atticus, obviously not buying what he was saying she stood near him while he was on the couch, looking at Ellise to see if she would do anything.

━━━━━━━━━━━━ Ellise sighed "No need to be stubborn. I knew people like you and they all ended up dead or too injured to continue fighting in the end." she said. She finished writing the symbols on the paper before moving his hand and pressing the slip on his chest. The mark suddenly became enveloped with light and began attempting to get rid of some of the negative energy and to numb it. Ellise wrote on a few more slips then "Until we can find out what the heck that is... use these whenever it gets intense. It may not do much depending on what that mark does but it is better than nothing." she told him with a serious expression. She picked up the one small bag she had and walked towards the bedroom then that was supposed to be hers. ━━━━━━━━━━━━
Atticus smiled, "Ellise, there are many things you have yet to learn about me." he told her, "I'm not that weak, besides a little pain like this is nothing at all." As he said that, the mark pulsed once more, but Atticus would endure it. Just then, Ellise would move his hand off his chest and press the slip of paper on it. As this happened, Atticus could feel the pain from the mark begin to lessen and the black energy that was coming from it, was slowly being enveloped by the light. Watching Ellise leave, Atticus smiled, "Thanks, Ellise." he muttered before looking back at Shira. "See, I'm fine now."
Shira sighed "You know I like to worry though." she told him with a small smile.

━━━━━━━━━━━━ Ellise smiled slightly before walking into the room to unpack some of her things, which wasn't much. She placed an old black and white photo on the night stand near the bed which had three figures in it. She smiled slightly and went back to going through her bag. ━━━━━━━━━━━━
Reaching over and pulling Shira close to him, Atlas continued smiling, "Thank you for worrying." Atticus then kissed her gently on the forehead, before resting his head back against the couch. "But I'm fine now. I think." he added, before looking towards Ellise's room, "She reminds me a lot of you, but blonde and they are a bit bigger." Of course there was only one thing Atticus could be referring to when he said bigger.
Shira frowned slightly and looked away "Well that is awfully nice of you to point out..." she said, moving slightly so part of her face was in the scarf she currently wore.
Atticus let out a small laugh, before reaching up and moving her face so that the two could stare in each other eyes. "Who cares, my eyes only see your beauty. I only love you." he told her before kissing her on the lips. "Besides, I didn't say yours were small." he stated before laughing a little more.
Shira smiled slightly and quickly kissed him again. "I know you do. I still need to get used to you randomly pointing out stuff like that though." she said with a small laugh. She rested her head on Atticus' shoulder then.
"Maybe I should learn to keep that to myself." he added before gently resting his head on hers, "You know, the peaceful times like this aren't going to last much longer." Atticus stated, referring to the kishin, the alternates and all the other baddies out there.
