Sophie eyed the battle field; the worry on her face evident. Fighting was not her strong suit. In videogame terms, she was the priest - the healer. She took a deep breath and stepped forward to her selected target - the monster mascot.
She rolled her shoulders back, squared her feet and then jumped forward, fist coming out the second before she was in range. It hit, but she could instantly tell it didn't do a lot of damage and the retaliation sent the ghoul back a bit, skidding on the dirt.

Lifting both her feet, she kicked them against the monster's body. One, two, THREE! It went flying over her head. Bouncing against the ground.
She rubbed at her throat momentarily while jumping to her feet.

The Jiang Shi was done. She'd had enough battling. Just done. Done done done. Stomping over to the monster, she lifted a foot and brought her heel down hard on it's head. Another fist came out and this one didn't land very well; much like the first. A counter-attack came and Sophie managed to avoid any major damage but still took a small hit. A frown creased her brow and she pursed her lips. Everyone was fighting hard and here she was barely making a scratch.

Another hit landed, this time a leg sweeping out to kick her target in the side. It retaliated again and Sophie caught a blow to her arm.

She struck out again with her first, but still the ghoul was doing a very average amount of damage. The counter-attacks from the mob were slowly exhausting her and she stretched her muscles.

She stood still for a moment, taking a few deep and unnecessary breaths. Around her, she heard the roar of the crowd and she could have sworn she heard a familiar voice calling her name. She concentrated and there it was.
'Go Sophie! You can do it!
Her mother, in the crowds was cheering her on. Sophie didn't need to look to know she was probably waving pom poms or a poster of some sort. A smirk twitched onto her lips and, eyes opening, she leaped forward with a yell. This time, her hit landed and she managed to knock the monster back.

There was only one hit left until the creature was down; that much was obvious by the way it was now slouching, swaying in the breeze that rolled past as if it were only made of paper. Flexing her firsts, Sophie took aim and launched her assault, hitting the mob square in its chest and knocking it to the ground. It landed one last blow on her before so, but when it didn't rise Sophie new she was victorious.
