Trying to go intangible to dodge the meatloaf, Sulmanon failed and was told to go back and try again. Grumbling, Sulmanon thought this would be so much easier if she could use her wings.
I'M GOING GHOST!
Current Obstacle: Attack on Meatloaf Obstacles Passed: 2/5 Time Remaining on Potion: 17/40 Total Time: 23 minutes
This time, she barely had to think about it and managed to go invisible. Then she tiptoed past the students and straight towards the next to last task.
I'M GOING GHOST!
Current Obstacle: Attack on Meatloaf Obstacles Passed: 3/5 Time Remaining on Potion: 16/40 Total Time: 24 minutes
Reading the instructions for this part, Sulmanon had no trouble lighting up, it was just like her flame moulding. Finding the flags was a bit harder of a task though, and took her several minutes.
I'M GOING GHOST!
Current Obstacle: The Murky Pond Obstacles Passed: 4/5 Time Remaining on Potion: 9/40 Total Time: 31 minutes
Reaching the last obstacle, Sulmanon remembered how she had beat the second task and quickly levitated over each of the pits landing at the finish line with time to spare.
I'M GOING GHOST!
Current Obstacle: The Glitter-Glue Pit Obstacles Passed: 5/5 Time Remaining on Potion: 5/40 Total Time: 35 minutes
Having managed to best the obstacle course, and still seeming ghostly from the potion, Sulmanon went to walk over to another table when a whale boil called out to her. Unfortunately, she did not want to show off ghost dorm colors, so the boil offered to let her try her strength. Smiling, she picked up the hammer.
Quote:
1-30: Did you even hit the target? The ringer barely moved at all, and Wally doesn't seem impressed. He hands you a Ghost Marshmellow as a consolation prize, but he seems reluctant to even part with that.
Unfortunately, the hammer slipped out of her hands before she could raise it and landed on the platform, barely making it move at all. Not looking impressed at her mess up, Wally grudgingly tossed her a marshmellow. She'd have come back later to prove she wasn't a weakling.
Walking out from the stand, Sulmanon went off in search of snacks. If she didn't find something to eat soon, she'd probably wind up joining the ghost dorm. [Exits]

"That is a pleasing enough answer for me to place this in the prizes..." She answered both boils simply and smiled a little bit up at Petro, to show that she was indeed pleased enough by the answer.
She tilted her head toward the newer student as he introduced himself, "I am Lattice. I suppose you may have known that from before...I am not certain but pleased to meet you, in either case. This is my Petro," Lattice tilted her head up at the boil she held hands with. "He is my dearest protector and friend."
Using these terms freaked her out a little less than using most of the other traditional terms. She was too frazzled with all that is happening to go full force today.
When Amarus appeared she gave a small shake of her head, "I saw him at the opening but otherwise I hadn't seen him at the booth yet? This doesn't mean much since I am not familiar with his form and voice just yet. He might be about."

Amarus snuck over to her Phoenix Hatchling, who was sitting on a perch at the booth, and scrawled something onto a piece of paper, before she turned back to Lattice to reply: "Oh, then I am sure we will see him eventually."

Follow he did, cellophane package in one hand and the note from it in the other between two fingers. The delivery had been a curious calling, one that had gotten his attention for the moment. Venturing further into the ghost booth territory he peered around for a sight of pink, looking for the familiar aura.
Once he had the glow spotted it was a matter of mingling into the crowd to meet up with the ghoul. The closer he got the further his tail extended from his body and step by step the end of the chilly appendage threatened to prod the ghoul he was heading for. Pausing a few steps from her he stretches his tail out and gives a slide of the tip up Amarus side.

It looked like her hatchling had done what she'd hoped it would, and found Spinar for her. She was happy to see him, and reached out one hand to brush the tip of his tail with her fingers in greeting, somewhat surprised that was how he'd found her. "Siku, I am glad to see you here. Are you enjoying the festivities?" Amarus asked, smiling at the frosty demon.

When she touched his tail his lips curled tight at the ends, forming a deep smirk as he spun the bag he was holding around a finger. Clearly amused with both her current and previous gestures to gain attention. She was a weird ghoul, such a weird ghoul but he did have a respect for her, more so after their spar. "Amarus. You as well.." He replied, rolling her name in a soft sarcastic baritone. When asked of the festivities he gave a simple shrug and rolled his shoulders, settling the spinning bag to hold in his palm. They weren't half bad but not as exciting as he had hoped when signing up. "They are..a pleasant let down? Not bad." He chuckled and eyed the ghoul looking towards the others near her now with a tip of his head in greeting, "how about yourself, anything interesting you've been up to aside from the hatchling calls?"

Amarus reached one hand out, tilting her head, so that her bells jingled: in this way, she summoned the Dream Phoenix Hatchling to her side. It alighted on one hand, and she smiled at it gently. "I am very fond of birds, but I have never tried to train one before. This one is an excellent messenger. I have raised a fledgling to give away by the end, it is all very exciting," she said.
Amarus nodded. "It will get harder, Siku, I suspect-- we are seldom bored for long. I have not finished setting up the booth for Aegis yet; other things have distracted me. Ah, so the other booths... have you been? I have not yet had a chance."
Kari felt apprehensive... she wasn't quite ready to take on that dreaded obstacle course yet. Maybe pulling a ticket from the box would suffice...
'14' was the number that emerged from the box. Tucking it away in her front pocket, Kari tried to decide whether she would brave that obstacle course...
