Eachann entered the room, having followed the glowing signs from the gymnasium. He glanced at his gamerbot as he entered and grabbed a blank ballot. He looked over it while he listed to the discussions around him.

He quickly filled out the ballot before throwing it in the pot:


He looked into the crowd after he placed his vote and cast a winning smile to all inside. "Yeh, I secon' the Chimera and, uh," He waved a hand, trying to prompt the owrds back into his head, "Eat, Drink, and Be Scary! sounds pret'y great to me."

He brought his human bot to the back of the room as it seemed much more interested in his DS than the rest of the happenings in the room.

The humanbot seemed nervous in the crowd.

Aldara was, per the general norm of things, just a little bit late in arriving to the dorm meeting. She was all smiles as she came through, though, bringing along with her another tray of snacks. If she was going to be late the least she could do was make sure that it was worth it...

Setting the assortment of cookies down on the table after nudging an empty bowl aside to make room for them she turned, taking in a bit of the conversation going on around her as she headed for the ballot box to scribble in her votes, attempting to bring a little bit of fashion to the grand color scheme.



"If we're talking mascots, I think chimera really would be the best representation of our dorm. I mean, Harpy would totally be my first pick, but that would hardly be fair to the other monsters..." She grinned. "Chimera at least has a little bit of each of us, right?"

"Black is popular because it goes with everything and I don't know one person that it doesn't look good on." Another soft smirk as she turned to glance at the RA that had welcomed her, making a vague gesture at her face in an attempt to subtly let him know that he had something all over his face; beard, as it was. Unless he was storing snacks there for later, it probably wasn't the best idea to let him just go on like that.

"What we really should think about, though, is what colors the other dorms are likely to wind up with. We wouldn't want to embarrass ourselves by not being unique enough to pick a set of colors that another dorm has already settled on. We, as a very unique and special group of individuals, want something that matches how fabulous we are." She paused briefly, tapping a well manicured talon against her lips in thought before continuing on. "We haven't positioned anyone to listen in on the other meetings, have we?"

Late, half asleep, wearing missmatched socks and clothes that clearly hadn't been ironed in the last century, Kwasi sulked around in one of the least crowded corners. Listening with only half an ear, there was only one colour on the list that appealed to him. It didn't seem particularly monster-ish in the traditional sense, maybe copper or bronze would be better, but at least it was a colour he would wear. Attempting to stride forward to drop in his vote, he ended up having to squeeze between people, spoiling the effect. Clawing his way back after dropping it off, he frowned at the mottos. Sexy? Sexy??? Boils were tough, cool, bad-a**, not sexy. That was a ghoul word. He didn't really care about the other ones, but no no no way would he be ok with sexy.

"Uh, I like the second! Eat, drink, and be scary!"

Alexander was content to just lay back and relax until things were completely hashed out. He kept an ear open for any more motto suggestions, though there were none and instead everyone seemed to just hash it out between two in particular that were put forward right from the start. He'd have to give a quick tally of the two later but for now.....

He slowly pushed himself to his feet, slowly stretched out his limbs with a creaking noise like his bones might be about to break, and then relaxed and shuffled himself on over to the tally box.

"Color votes are now closed." He announced to the crowd, before lifting up the lid and giving what was inside a quick count.

He then wrinkled up his nose. A tie. Of course there was going to be a tie!

"All right, listen up! I have a tie for two colors here so now it's time for your two RA's to step up and give me their votes as well." He turned towards them both, Muka, who appeared to have accosted some newly arrived snacks, and Demi, who was well...Alex couldn't help but grin at the sight of him completely decorated with color swatches. That particular idea had been brilliant. Waving them over, he whispered in conspiratorial tones.

"So, red is our clear winner, but black and gold are our tied colors. Can you guys please give me a vote on which of the two you prefer more? Don't forget to consider what ah...your other schools dorms might be going with as well. You don't want to inadvertently end up with the same colors as them!"

Muka was mid-chomp on a snack when he was called upon. The boil blinked owlishly, crumbs tumbling into his bushy beard. His head tilted to an unreal angle and the strix grinned.

"I quite agree with the.. hrmm.. ghoulie." He motioned to Sheelah with a talon. Muka then bobbed quickly upwards and straightened his tie, a gold tiepin catching the light.

"I much prefer gold."

Damien was busy shimmying all the colors about on his jacket. it was magical. It was at that time that the undead boil called him and bird brain over and gave them the tie breaker. "oh a tie you say?" the hound said, covering his mouth in shock.

The hellhound didn't expect them to be so in unison with their color ideas. The eager pup took the swatches of crimson and obsidian and brushed gold in hand, and turned them around.

then upside down.


and then did a headstand with them turned upside down. And tried to sneak a green swatch in there as a tie breaker color. "I like black more. Red and Gold reminds me of a sad lion for some odd reason." the hounds stated, inadvertently making it, another tiebreaker.

Chilling somewhere in the background, Pokerus heard Alex ask them to vote on the motto chosen. It was a easy choice for her on this one.

"Eat, Drink, and be Scary" sounds good to me" She said.
