Another familiar face had sprung up in this little gathering. It wasn't really one he had expected, nor one he had seen in quite awhile. Shun looked over Riyo for a moment, then gave a curt nod to her in turn. Standing besides Mitsu, he just placed his hands into his pockets, content to watch the others mingle about as they went through this reunion.

"All things considered, I'm doing pretty good." Poke admitted. "I've been in some insane situations before, but I think this one was one of the more bizarre. And confronting." Yeah, she had faced a few memories that she would of preferred to stay hidden away by the passage of time.

A moments pause, and then something came to her. "Ah, the goddess of Ruin...that was the professor wasn't it?" She frowned. "I wouldn't mind socking her one of these days. Just for that."

Probably a dangerous/stupid thing to be saying that, but since when did she give a dam about danger? Or cautiousness for that matter.

Riyo made a face when Mitsu asked her how she was. It looked like she was seriously considering it. "You know what?" The feline finally said after a moment. "Yeah, I'm pretty alright. I'm... Really good actually." Seemed like an odd thing to say after an ordeal like that.

She shot a look around before lowering her voice. "I... Think this helped me a lot. I know it sounds stupid after all that happened, but this whole thing made me realize that everything I've gone through sort of... Completes me, I suppose." Riyo kicked at the ground, as if reluctant to admit such a thing.

What was Poke talking about though? "The professor?"

There were students colliding everywhere with one another, all talking, laughing, cheering. Sparrow gave them all an interested sort of look, tilting his head curiously at them before giving a small laugh.

"Lively is good, though," he said with a smile. "Lively is better than not lively, after all."

He glanced up at the imposing front gates again, and then to the school beyond.

"I do hope I'll be able to make a good impression, though," he added to Shehk, idly tugging at the sleeve of his long, bright blue coat and smoothing it out. "I'm not particularly good at doing things well, I'm afraid, but hopefully things will turn around while I'm here."

Sparrow's confidence only widened that small gap of uncertainty Shehk had about where she felt she'd be going with her future at Amityville. "Well, at least you know what your skill set is." she smiled, "even if it's a lack of skill set. I don't even know where to start, myself." Nodding, as if such an action would just confirm what she said, she moved from twisting her sleeve to scratching the stapling underneath her ear.

"But I'm sure we'll both learn a whole plethora of things while we're here, so going in without much to your name just means you'll gain that much more."

Perhaps at one point in his life the giant sign would have made him shrink back and hug the fence, following it until he could slip inside the gates. Instead Merope merely leaned back as he stared at the giant sign, taking in the view of it. Simply looking at the sign brought a mixture of feelings he wasn't quite sure about.

Upon lowering his gaze to those assembled, the boil realized that he was less sure of those gathered before it. He narrowed his eye as he stared shamelessly. Some of them looked familiar, while others... Who were these people?

He had figured she would try it again and he was ready... for another cheek-wetting. West raised his hands back to the sides of his face and stood tall, preparing himself to initiate Operation Beatdown a day early. Instead, he was forced to lean back when he saw where she was aiming. Sadly, he was too slow to avoid a beard sliming.

"Jackdammit, I..."

West's hands clenched into fists. He was poised to strike when his protest was suddenly cut off by a flying Belladonna. The boil deflated, sighing in frustration.

"Ghouls," he growled, stomping off toward the school.

The shout of her name accompanied by the kiss, however sloppy, only served to make the witch that much more excited. Once her feet were back on the ground she hopped back into the air, up and down in quick succession, clutching Hel close.
"You're safe you're safe oh thank Hecate you're safe!" She chirped, rubbing her cheek against the Valkyrie's. After a moment of this, the witch grabbed Hel by both her shoulders to push her out at arm's length, but still hold onto her. "I did not see you there at all! I was not even aware you were there!"
A sigh from nearby caught the witch's attention and she let go of Hel to reach out after West.
"WESSTYYY! You're alright too!" In the event West was not quick enough to evade the wiggling hands, he would be caught in the witch's grasp, wrapped up in a hug.

Done with that, she sighed in gladness and turned back to Hel to see Amrita. Not wanting to put off the ghoul, Belladonna passed her a fond smile and more slowly tried to bring her into a hug because everyone needed hugs today.
"Were you there as well? How could I have missed all of you? How dreadful of me!" With a sigh she nestled against the Undead ghoul, rubbing her cheek against the patchwork skin. Terrible of her to have somehow not found her friends, but even better that they had returned safely.
