The Native Ace For personality- I base every character I create off myself. That description is actually my astrological description- and it is very accurate, so, best of both worlds works when you're me. Also naïve? I'm super educated, super mature, but people ALWAYS describe me as naïve. Explain that one. He's vain because I am incredibly vain. I hate working on character creation. Roleplaying is my deal- characters suck, just putting that out there. I guess I'll go through it and make everything work, but I disagree he can't be balanced, because then that would be stating I can't be balanced and let me tell you: I am. -No on the emotion manipulation. -Thank you for being detailed on how your powers work -I don't understand why her bat voice thing wouldn't work on people or animals or open spaces. Bats use it to find tiny bugs in wide open spaces in the air, so it pretty much would work on anything, anywhere. Other than things like color or lighting, I don't see any reason for it not to work. -withdrawn is the same as shy, and doesn't count as a flaw -Demonology, world history, and general magic are all during first period. She would need to have one during each period. That's about it, I think. ^^ Well done.

Genetically altered/enhanced human Orientation: Bi Relationship Status: Divorced History: At her birth , both her mother and father knew exactly what she would become, but loved her unconditionally. A new genetic experiment was just released a few days before her birth. They had more than enough money to go with the procedure, it being easier to do on infants and new borns. The expectation of the experiment was to alter the DNA of the subject, expanding their life span, giving them supernatural abilities and evolving into a new world altogether. The test was successful, Angela developed supernatural abilities and showed no sign of negative symptoms. After her first year , being in isolation for observation, she was allowed to be taken home. She lived a comfortable and luxurious life style, her mother being the prosecutor for the us attorney. Her Father being a surgeon. Angela was raised to realize that money wasn't everything and that family and friends is what made a place home. No one ever told Angela what she was, what her true race was. She started kindergarten when everyone else her age did, at 5. Jason, a kid in her class, threatened her , told her she was monster. The young Angela was dumb struck when a kid , that she didn't even know, suddenly had all this venom towards her. Apparently the Nurse whom helped deliver her knew exactly what she was, calling her a demon spawn and warned her son not to go near her. When Angela came home she asked her mom and dad about her true heritage. They told her, that she was genetically altered. She sat alone at lunch, partly her own choice, not wanting to hurt anyone if she was this monster everyone said she was. Angela didn't dare trying using or testing out her new powers in fear of what they could or would do. In high-school the bullying worsened, she was more intelligent than the other kids, giving them more reasons to pick on her. Angela slowly began closing her self off from the social world, feeling no escape. In Sophomore year, her mother was assassinated during a particular case, involving a powerful gang leader. Even then , at her weakest point, no one bothered to give their apologies.. It was nearing the holidays, father gone at work, alone at the house. There was a knock at the door, an Angela filled with hope that it was her father ,home early from work. When she opened the door ,she met Jason's face. He invited himself in. She was as best of an hostess as she possibly could be, being nothing but friendly towards him. While she was on the way to the kitchen , he slammed her into a wall, and began punching, kneeing, kicking and throwing her. After he knocked her out he left the house, afraid that he had gone too far. She dropped out of school the next year, not even graduating. Angela quickly left home and started living off of the streets until she met Lyon. Her Tropical towel boy. In some tropical island , Angela doesn't 'remember' , they somehow ended up married. Apparently dancing around a couple of fires and drinking was something they took seriously. At the age of 20 she moved here and became a professor, keeping her past a secret from everyone, not wanting to be judged. Weapons and/or Powers:
(1 Regenerative-Really Serious burns or wounds she can't do much about, right under really serious she can heal them to an extent they wont be fully healed and they will leave a scar, medium-ish wounds she can heal nearly complete, most likely leave a scar and then the minor wounds can be easily healed with little effort. The effects is leaving her pretty much exhausted, in a way hung over.
Lightning - Angela absorbs energy from the surrounding hair , electrifying her touch. Giving her the ability to send bolts of lightning from her palms and at her opponents ,or from her direct touch.When she uses the lightning ability it does burn her. Most of the burns would be seen on the hand that was used to fire the bolts, and up that arm. She can channel quite a bit but the more power she channels the worse the burns are and the further they spread on the body. Say for example a human ticked her off ,and she wanted to make him crumple to the ground , it would take her very little energy to do that compared to doing that to a demi-god , or someone with regenerative abilities, which would use a lot more power. So in the end trying to take down a human would end in minor burns on the hand and fore arm, while trying to take down the demi god (depending on how powerful he is ) can leave sever burns on her hand and for arm , and the burn can go all the way up that arm , onto the shoulder and chest, maybe even neck and face , abdomen and ect. But it depends how much she is trying to channel.
Personality: Ange is a "free spirit " "good time girl and a child at heart" despite her authoritative role in the student lives as a teacher and role model. She is very caring ,open ,friendly and takes a nurturing role a lot of the time, feeling responsible for not only students but for co-workers ,acting as a mother or adviser to those who need it. At times she can be quirky. Angela can be flirty as will. She is very defensive of her past, she doesn't like it being brought up in question. Will do anything to avoid it. Character Flaws:
Commitment Issues- Angela is terrified of commitment, Her only real relationship and marriage ended in a nasty divorce. All of her other romantic 'relationships' never really started, Angela only giving them two or three days a week to even be around her, she tried distancing herself from them as much as possible. The only relationships that she can commit to are friendships, and ones that she can be the nurturer.
Jealous- Angela can find her self at times being jealous of others, feeling that their life was or is easier than her own, thinking that it would be better than living her own life.
Workaholic- She constantly wants to be planning , working on her personal programs, wanting to get everything done then and there, not leaving much time for herself. Habits: When nervous, bored, ect she puts her hand to her mouth , bits at her nails.

Are you still planning on creating a child character, or did you make this one in it's place? -last name -that pic isn't of a real person, right? I'm pretty sure its not, but whoever made it did a really good job lol -so she's married but tells people she's single, or what? -how serious can she heal, what are the side effects, can she heal herself? (regenerative powers would make more sense with the genetic experiment thing, but its up to you) -I'm a little nervous on the whole pain ability, as it seems kind of god-mod. But then again, its practically useless since it only works with eye contact, and anyone who is suddenly in pain is almost assuredly not going to be worried about looking her in the eyes. Also, what do you mean by shield? Physical shields or some kind of mental thing or what? -lightning ability is cool, I like how you had her absorb energy around her in order to use it, very nice. Please clarify how much lightning she can channel. Also, does holding the energy on her affect her, like burn her or something, or does her genetic thing protect her from that? And if it does, does it also protect her from other forms of energy that may be directed at her? -caring too much doesnt count -the first time I read "being turned on by her students," I read that the completely wrong way. O.o At least I'm pretty sure what that's not what you meant... -what are her tattoos of? -How come you described her as super caring and protective and always worried about students, workaholic, etc, and then answered her questions as if she was this cocky, self absorbed, uncaring chick? She can be mixed, of course, but it needs to be explained.

(( I wanted to apologize for any confusion in the profile or the post today, I did this at like three in the morning , I should of revised. But sorry about any misconnections ) I still planning on creating a child character ,I have just been waiting on someone's reply :3 and I plan on student hunting today so YAY! -last name I will think of one right now :3 - and okay i'll think of a different flaw - No , the pictures not real, I think it might be something done on photoshop, like one of those paintings -Healing, She can heal herself, like the burns she would get from the fight. Um Regenerative powers would be the better idea now thinking about it. Breaking eye contact works both ways, if she breaks eye contact then it goes away and if he or she breaks eye contact with her then it goes away. I wanted to make this ability fair in that I didn't want it to be over powered , like there wasn't a way around or to avoid it, So I added the shield thing I thought it might even things out that's really any type of shield will block it physical and mental. on the physical thing ,if she can't find a way to look in their eyes ,then she can't do this ability, that's im guessing you meant like brick wall or something , but if you meant something else than tell me and I'll try clearing it up more .mental shield does the same thing whether it be a magic barrier , telekinetic shield ,something that protects the specific person in their actual own mind. I appreciate you trying to make it so its not OP and all, but at its core, it controls other characters without them really having a say. Student or Professor: Orphan Nickname: Ray, (Feel free to nickname him yourself!~) Age: 4 Gender: Male Race: Neko Orientation: Straight Relationship Status: Single History: Ray was born to a family consisting of three older brother and two older sisters, mom and dad. They were the average family, except for Ray. He was the only 'special' one of them, having cat ear , cat antics, as well of that of a human boy. When he was born they were disgusted, wondering where they went wrong. They took care of him because he was an responsibility They constantly told him how he was a mistake, disgusting, worthless and would be a curse to all of humanity. Ray was forced to stay in the attic. Ray wasn't allowed to go on family vacations or come down for family reunions. His parents hide him from the world, for their own sake. They were important business men and women , they deserved respect, something they would never receive with this child. They would lose their clients, money, friends and big house. The only four things that mattered to them His mother screamed at him every time he tried to speak, or ask for help. She would kick him and throw things. When his father came home he would hit him, until he felt like he couldn't move ( Ray would be about 2-3 years hold when this happened) His older brother, Zach, took him in. His other siblings treated him like his parents did, often hitting him ,or pushing him, telling him harsh words. They avoided him like the plague and would soon avoid Zach as well. Zach said they're irrational and arrogant fools, that had no human emotions. Zach was 16 when Ray turned 1. His parents punished Zach for trying to be there ,to protect Ray from them. Zach would constantly be bleeding ,or be bruised when he would come get Ray from their 'secret' place , where Ray would hide. Ray would hide in a trap door that they made in the closet. Zach moved Ray into his room , letting Ray have his bed ,and would protect him during nights, he'd get to play in his brother's room. Zach reassured him that he would become something wonderful ,and brilliant. They stayed up late at nights talking about how Zach would save him from this life. Ray had no idea how ,but he trusted his brother. On November 22nd Zach turned eighteen. Already expecting this to happen his parents told he had to leave, not because they disliked Zach ,but thought Zach and Ray's relationship was to close. All they wanted was Ray gone , Zach was just making the process that much harder. He refused to leave without Ray. It started as arguing and quickly became violent. When Zach was hit by his father, he lashed out at him. Knocking him into a glass coffee table, and beating him into a bloody pulp. Zach quickly got Ray, packed their bags and ran off. A few months later though , they were found. Zach not being the legal guardian ,was told that he had to give the child back to his rightful parents. Panicking Zach came to the only conclusion he could. Ray refused and cried, begging his brother to come with ,but It wouldn't work that way. Zach knew where they had to go. They left in the early hours of the morning, taking a lot of Ray's belongings with them. They finally arrived in Atlantis, once inside He told Ray to go play outside, so he followed instructions, after much arguing, and went to the gardens. Zach met with the headmaster and some of the Professors there, he explained the situation, and told them that he no where else to go. If Ray went home he would be killed, so he begged them offering them anything they wanted, just as long as Ray had a home there. Once Zach was told that he was allowed to stay with them Zach fled to go find his little brother. Zach said that today was special, so they spent the entire day together. At the end of the day, Zach told Ray the news, that he would be living here, in Atlantis , but that he would be safe. The boy refused to accept the face he had to stay here, he cried and begged Zach to take him with ,or just that Zach would stay, but he couldn't. Finally Ray gave in and agreed to staying here. The first few months at Atlantis were extremely hard for him. He refused to talk or socialize with anyone ,even the Professors. After Ray started to feel more comfortable he begun clinging to certain people ,were he had developed trust . The next thing he did was the only thing to ensure the safety of his brother. Zach spent months on this project, the deadline to give Ray back quickly approaching. Zach created a powerful bomb and set it in their apartment. He ran away and went into hiding, blowing up the apartment, faking both Zach's and Ray's death. Ray has now spent the last couple of years living with those on the academy, most people there know about him being an orphan. Weapons and/or Powers:
Always land on feet - self explanatory , if you drop (or if he falls) him he'll thrash about and land on his feet.
Enhanced hearing and speed- he can run faster and longer than a regular boy, and he has improved hearing, making it able for him to eavesdrop
Personality: Ray is quiet and shy for the most part, only talking to those that he has come to know in the academy. He is very loving and sweet, always trying to be good, because he doesn't want anyone to be mad and leave because of him. He carries around a bear with him that he talks to. Despite his shy attitude he finds he likes being around people, as long as he knows one or two there. Character Flaws:
-Self-deprecation - Ray often finds himself thinking he shouldn't be here, he's the worst , he hates himself, often thinking that people would be better off without him. Finds it hard to understand why people actually do like him. Ray feels that he just simply isn't good enough that he will never be of any importance.
- Absentminded- Preoccupied to the extent of being unaware of his immediate surroundings. Abstracted, daydreaming, inattentive, oblivious, forgetful. Ray often misses anything that you're trying to tell him ,due to this, because he's easily distracted and loses concentration. He will usually ask you to repeat what you were saying or say ' What?'.
-Impish- (I'm not sure if it counts as a character flaw..... but I like the description XD) -Naughtily or annoyingly playful. Ray loves to play, even when others find it bothersome. He enjoys biting at peoples legs while they walk or try jumping on them. Ray often tries hiding people's belongings , even very important project. The projects aren't important to him ,so he doesn't understand. He only does this to people he knows though, so just stay a stranger ;3
