"Oh, but driving is very fun! I am always stuck behind them as we go on family trips," Terra pouted for a second before going, "I will not make you wear a helmet!"
"Because the scooter only goes up to about thirty, if y'crank it," Roch drawled. Although he HAD summoned his guitar and was tuning it--he just hadn't left where he was standing.
Terra gave him a dark look. "I will get that changed before the next vacation," she said. "But yes! Let us go for eyescream after this! WITHOUT hermano," she added, staring at Roch. "It is a date--there are only two people on it!"
"... well, y'got at least ONE factor of datin' figured out," Roch said finally. Though he guessed his little sister could prefer females... but probably not, considering the first thing she noticed on Yaya was her hair...

"It sounds like fun - an' I don't right care if it only goes thirty, I jest wanna feel th' wind in m'hair, which y'can't do if y'got a jackin' helmet on."
She directed a droll look in Roch's direction. "I agree. Eyescream w'out yer fuddy duddy brother. If yer flyin' I'm buyin'," Lark added with a smile on her face. Look at her! Making friends!
"Y'goin' t'prom, Terra?"

"Si! I am going with my very best friend, Angeline! We are going to dress up as tight rope walkers and dance with all the people!" Terra said cheerfully. "It will be very fun! You can dance with us!"
And the idea of Angeline and Lark meeting made him even more nervous, Roch realized. But neither were--they were just friends he took out to eat or to the fair--or... skinny dipping... or--
Yeeeah, time to stop that line of thought. "Speakin' of prom," Roch said, deciding it was time to change the subject. "If I get y'another piano player, can y'do that Phantom song?"
"F--f--for prom?" Terra asked, looking rather panicked.
"Yeah, for prom," Roch said. "You think she should play, too, right, Lark?" he asked the other ghoul evilly. Terra was going to be traaaaappped. "An'that other song, the one y'did in the hotel room!"

"I ain't got a date, but I think it's gonna be fun anyways. I went t'the last prom, n' we had a pretty good time, an' I had a date t'that one, but there ain't no reason y'gotta have a real date t'have a good time, yeah?" She stopped and kind of rolled her eyes when Roch directed the topic away from prom. "Ain't y'got somethin' else t'do asides from -- wait, what now?" Roch got a narrow-eyed look, but when she turned back to Terra there was no denying the curiosity in her eyes. "Y'gotta do what y'want, Terra," Lark turned to glance at Roch again before sticking her tongue out at the punk. "Now.. I gotta admit, it'd be neat t'hear y'play or sing or w'ever y'do, but. Only if y'wanna."

Roch was about to argue--then Nahm appeared. "Yeahhh, man, one, little sister, y'jackin' perv, two, there were bugs bigger than Cricket's an' a noose hangin' in the window for ambiance, an' three, the whole family was in there--Family policy is we play music till the last one crashes."
Whereas Terra looked confused, and only confused. "Si, it was a hotel--we were riding to Bloodstock!" she said, cheering up. "I have pictures!" she said, digging her skelephone out of her pocket and bringing up her photo album. "Jimi was there," she said in an awed tone. "He is AMAZING."

"I like nooses. Nooses are great decoration. One of the aunts makes decorative nooses to sell on Regretsy," Nahm said cheerfully. "Makes good seeds that way."
He circled around to peer over Terra's shoulder for a look at the pictures on her phone. "Now I'm jealous. Bloodstock's awesome. You get any pictures with the man himself?"

"No, not with, but of!" she said, bringing up the pictures of Jimi on stage. "Isn't he wonderful?" she asked with a fanghoul sigh. Some ghouls sighed over JD--Roch's little sister? Jimi. It was fitting. "I got a signed poster," she added happily, practically squealing with happiness. "See, y'can't say that t'my lil sister till y'see this," Roch said as he pulled out his eyephone and brought up the recording of Terra playing in the hotel room. The younger reaper even danced as she was playing in the video. "Can y'really say she should stick t'the dance floor when she can do this?"

"Lark did," Roch said, pointing to the tomboy in question. "C'mon, Terra, just a couple of songs!" he said. "Please?"
Terra chewed on her bottom lip, looking down as she played with the hem of his t-shirt--the one she had stolen. "I--I... guess one would not hurt?" she said tentatively.
