"No." Tuck fisted his hand in the hem of Heidi's shirt. "I don't want you to leave, an' you ain't sleepin' on the floor."

He cleared his throat.

"Unless you want to leave. I ain't gonna make you stay here if you want to go, Heidi. Ain't nothin' changed, like I said. I ain't gonna... make you do nothin' you don't want to do. I just don't want you to feel uncomfortable."

He released his hold on her shirt.

"If you want to go, you can. I would like to hold you tonight an' fall asleep next to you without you feelin' like I'm expectin' something out of it, cuz I ain't."

Heidi just stared as Tuck grabbed her shirt, her heart pounding almost painfully. But if she slept in the bed he would be uncomfortable. She should leave. She should go. She should give him his space and they could hang out and spar tomorrow and sleeping this off would make everything okay they were just really riled up from hanging out and tickle fights and My Humps dancing an kissing and oh god she should go. She really, really should go. It was the right thing to do. It was the polite thing to do, to let Tuck have his room to himself so he could, ahem, take care of business and then in the morning they'd be all cooled off and back to normal.

He assured her nothing had changed and let her go. Heidi's breath left her in a light laugh, apparently she'd been holding it and hadn't realized she was doing it. "I feel like I should leave but I don't want to. I was worried I made you uncomfortable 'cause I had no idea what I was doing and.." Heidi gave Tuck an apologetic smile. She wouldn't say it out loud but she had..no intention of doing anything to relieve him of his little problem. It wasn't because she didn't care about him and his issues, it was because that would make her uncomfortable.

She laid back down beside Tuck, facing him and picking at the blanket again. She wanted him to hold her, she wanted to sleep here with him, and she didn't feel like he was expecting anything out of her. If Tuck felt that way he would've been actually trying harder to get in her pants, not cutting off kisses for the rest of the night, covering only her in a blanket, and trying to hide what he was feeling and even saying several times that he wouldn't blame her if she left.

He really did sound like Edward with how often he kept telling her she could leave. Geeze, Tuck. Don't be so melodramatic.

She should leave though, she really should. It wasn't fair on Tuck if she stayed.

"...Would you sleep better if I was here?" Heidi asked quietly with a small frown. This was all her fault. "Like I said I don't want to leave but maybe I should...I don't want to make you uncomfortable. I do like sleeping here with you, and it was really nice when you held me this morning, and I really like kissing you, but I can't give you more than that." It was way, way, way too soon for anything past kissing. Heidi fell quiet again, thinking really hard on this. She was so torn. She wanted to be selfish but she didn't want to upset Tuck.

This was a lose/lose situation unless they both magically forgot this entire conversation. "I..." Heidi hesitated. "I don't know.." She sat up again, holding the blanket around herself.

"Maybe I should." Maybe it was for the best she leave. She wanted Tuck to be able to sleep without worrying he was upsetting her..which didn't look like it was going to happen if she stayed. "I can sleep over tomorrow night instead? We're both..really riled up so...it might be best." She swallowed and looked down at Tuck. She felt so bad.

Tuck's brow knit in a frown, and it took a moment for him to realize what Heidi was saying.

"We was kissin'. I liked it. My body reacted. Ain't nothing unnatural about it, ain't nothin' shameful. I just wanted to make sure you didn't feel awkward 'bout it, so I was honest with you, an' I ain't gonna demand nothin' of you. I would sleep better with you here, but if you want to go, like I said, that's up to you to decide. I ain't worried 'bout what's fair and what ain't fair. It's about what makes you comfortable and what don't."

He smiled, a lop-sided grin.

"It's real simple. Ain't no blame to place on anyone. You want to stay, you stay an' we go to sleep. You want to go, you go an' tomorrow everythin's like it was before all this happened. It really ain't nothin' to get upset about, nothin' to get worried over. I ain't upset."

Tuck paused.

"You hear me? I ain't upset."

He rolled onto his side and watched her carefully.

"You never want to kiss again, s'fine. You want to kiss again, you let me know. Here on out, you the boss."

He'd said his piece. Ball was in her court.

He liked kissing her. It happened because he liked kissing her. That was...flattering, but it still made her nervous. He wouldn't be bothered that she wasn't going to do anything about this? That she was pretty much going to make him suffer the whole night if she stayed? He said he had no expectations but come on, she didn't have one but she could only imagine having one of those for a long time must get..eugh. Maybe it would go away on its own.

No. No. She should leave. It was for the best. She didn't want to but it would--oh he was smiling. That was not fair.

Heidi could feel her face burning hotly, it made her glad the lights were off or she would look absolutely ridiculous blushing over this. "..Really?" He really wasn't upset? He wasn't bothered about what she had done to him? He didn't think she was some kind of terrible heartless succubus?

She cleared her throat, wringing the edge of the blanket anxiously. "Whoa now, let's not get ridiculous," Heidi laughed when Tuck suggested never kissing again. "I'm the boss? O..okay.." She stayed sitting up for a little while longer.

Okay, so..her options. Stay or leave. Stay, and she could be held and cuddle with Tuck and sleep and wake up with him in the morning. Leave, and she'd be sleeping by herself after having such a good day with him, and then she'd wake up alone and have to remember she'd ditched Tuck after they'd had such a good day and he'd been so great to her. But if she stayed..

Well..he said he wasn't upset...

"You're really not upset? It won't..like...bother you?" Heidi chewed on her bottom lip. He was smiling again. Smiling was good.

Would she notice it? She didn't see it, she was not looking anywhere lower than Tuck's chest--stop looking at his chest what the crap, Heidi--so she wasn't sure. Now that he wasn't...being so evasive about it he was so calm, like this was a regular thing.

Heidi slowly laid back down, curling up on her side and pulling the blanket up to cover the lower half of her face, the back of her thumbs against her lips. She'd stay. She hadn't wanted to leave she just figured maybe it was for the best for him. But if he insisted he wasn't upset, that he was okay..maybe he really was? This was so embarrassing. She didn't want to leave and pretend none of this had ever happened, she'd had too much fun today for that.

"..If I stay can I get a good morning kiss?" Heidi asked quietly, her voice muffled slightly by her own hands. "I'm..I'm sorry for freaking out. This isn't something I'm used to and, like..that isn't...something I..yeah." She cleared her throat and moved her hands away from her face. "You're the best friend I've made on this island." There was no way she was going to do something that could wreck their friendship. No way.

Heidi smiled. "Sorry you didn't get to third base with me~."

She'd read twitter.

"It ain't gonna bother me, Heids. Ain't gonna lie to you, though, you gettin' all worried or anxious or freaked out every time somethin' .. you know .. happens when we kiss, I ain't sure I can handle that. Can't help the way I react. You gonna have to get used to it is all - and you know I ain't never gonna make you do nothin' you don't want to do, so even if something comes up," he gave her a look, "you don't gotta freak out. We just gonna move at the pace you comfortable with, and that's the end of that. I'm grown. I can handle it."

He tugged at the blanket in hopes of urging Heidi back down on to the bed.

"You're one of the people who mean somethin' to me on the island, Heidi. You know you can trust me. You just gonna have to be honest with me. That's all I want is honesty. When we kissin' and you want to stop, tell me. When we kissin' and you want to try somethin' new, tell me. If we ain't never gonna kiss again, tell me that too. Whatever you want. Ain't gonna stop bein' a friend to you."

He narrowed his eyes at her question about getting a good morning kiss.

"If you wake up an' you still want a kiss, just kiss me." He shrugged before narrowing his eyes further.

"An' I never planned to get to third base with you ******** Gnat.

That was reasonable. Don't freak out every time. Right. She could do that, not a problem. Heidi nodded her head, eyes wide. "I'll try, I promise. I won't freak out." She'd be more delicate next time. Promise. She would just try not to get him to the point where that happened again. Right. She'd be more prepared next time!

Whoa. Heidi couldn't help but smile and giggle a little when Tuck said she meant something to him, biting down on her lip to try and hide the smile and failing terribly at it. Yeah, she trusted him. "I promise, I promise. I'll tell you." Heidi assured him eagerly, nodding her head again. She'd do it, all of it. She didn't expect she would want to do those things as often as he was probably used to with the other women he saw on the island, because he was her bro first and foremost, but to still have the option was nice. He was really just making her the boss of this? That was strange..maybe. Maybe not. She was new to this. "But you have to warn me if it's ever..like...too much for you. You can tell me to stop too." What had it been tonight? Three kisses? Something like that. All it'd taken was three...geeze, she was either really good at this or he just..

She was going to stop thinking about this. Yes.

She couldn't help but grin at Tuck's reaction to her fake apology. "I dunno, Gnat seemed under the impression you were macking on me." Giggling, Heidi moved closer to tuck her head under his chin, curling up beside Tuck. She was starting to get tired, the excitement of the day finally calming down now that she was in bed. "It's your fault I'm in trouble with her, you know." She mumbled, closing her eyes.

Maybe he was too nice of a guy, or maybe he was just plain stupid. Maybe he was a glutton for punishment, or maybe he just liked to suffer.

Women. Women.

"Good. No freakin' out. An' like I said, I can handle it."

As Heidi curled up against him, Tuck wrapped his arm around her waist and drew her closer to him.

"Wasn't mackin' on you. An' she's a s**t an' you should just ignore her because for some reason she likes to get up in my business since she's my sister. Thinks it gives her rights or something, hell if I know."

He pressed a kiss to the top of her head before closing his eyes.
