The referee got in Shanahan's way, in a No Holds Barred match. That man was either dedicated to his job, or had a death wish. "No! Get the ******** out of here!" Matt roared at the man as he pushed him aside before he could lift King's hand once more. With one hand lacing through The One True King's hair and the other on his tights, Matt attempted to heave the man to his feet and toss him into the ring, shouting, "If he's still breathing, we're still going!"
Shanahan had worked way too hard for this match to let it slip away like this.

King was limp in Matt's grasp, and even for Matt, a deadlift of 200 pounds was not insanely easy. It was do-able, no doubt, but not a simple task. King, however, was unceremoniously deposited into the ring, much to the chagrin of the official! But he was lucky to have not felt that bat for himself.

After heaving the overweight Kelly King into the ring, Matt stayed on the outside. He moved to the apron and fell to a knee, his hands searching underneath it. "It's not over until someone's dead..." He grumbled to himself, which may have been a -slight- exaggeration. He came to stand on his feet once more after a moment while pulling, not one, but two chairs out from under the apron. He tossed them inside the ring and climbed in after them.
Moving to stand beside King, he gave the man a tap with his foot, seeing if he would respond. There was no vocal request this time.

King, once again, did not respond to the tap of the foot, simply laying there, face down on the mat, bleeding from the forehead. The momentum of the ropes with Matt's swing must have done a huge number on him to have knocked him into such a huge daze.

If King wasn't going to stir, Shanahan was going to go through with his plans. Grabbing both of the chairs, he moved to stand in the center of the ring and unfold them. Once they were unfolded, he put them in place by facing them towards eachother, with the seats of the steel chairs pushed together.
What relevance this held to the match would have be elaborated on momentarily, because there was still the issue of King laying face down on the mat. Pacing over to him once more, The Punk attempted to grab the man by his hair once more and drag him towards the center of the ring.

2.0 was like putty in the man's hands as he was pulled towards the center of the ring and that vicious bed of chairs that the villainous Matt Shanahan had constructed for them. However, 2.0 barely even was aware of it's existance, as he was trying to rouse himself as hard as Matt was trying to kill him.

Matt's hand never left King's hair; in fact, he attempted to lift the man up to his feet once more when they were in the middle of the ring. If successful, he'd have pulled him into the Powerbomb position, facing the bed of chairs. The fans knew what could very well be coming next...
... And it would be. Should Shanahan have been able to pull 2.0 up thus far, he would try to continue by lifting the man up and over his shoulders for the Around the Corner! His target location of landing? That bed of chairs.

King was staring up at the lights. Funny how far away they felt now that the ring was back on the ground. The flash of light, though, ached his skull so much that he realized that his feet were dangling and Matt Shanahan was about to slam him down with his attack, Around the Corner. King struggled somewhat, but felt the powerful arms pulling on his neck. 2.0 tried to use that momentum to flow through the first flip of the attack and instead of falling back first on the chairs, he landed feet first between the chairs and Matt, suddenly grabbing the bigger man around the waist and trying to lift and slam him with a Scratched Disc onto the chairs he didn't even know were set up!

There's a moment in every man's life where he's shocked to the point that he doesn't know how to react; that was this moment for Matt. One moment, King was out cold. The next, the man had managed to land on his feet and was showing clear signs of life. He saw everything in slow-motion from that moment on, but he couldn't react. He felt King grab onto his waist and lift, which would prove to be amazingly difficult due to the significant weight and size difference, but he didn't react to that either. Even after spinning around and being planted by the Scratched Disc, the only reaction he showed was the roar of pain as his back smashed down onto the bed of chairs! Steel screamed on steel as both chairs broke underneath the massive man's weight.
Time went back to its normal state after impact, but Matt barely noticed. He was too busy holding his back in pain and trying to roll away from the recovered Kelly King.

King fell right back onto his side after the spinebuster had planted Matt back first on the steel chairs, and he rolled away, kicking with his feet and watching with wide eyes while The God Of Punks thrashed about in pain. 2.0 had only just realized where he'd place Matt... but he didn't feel bad for him. In fact, he pretty much deserved it. He lay down on the mat, catching his breath and collecting his thoughts. He could feel the adrenaline coming back to him, but at the moment, he only felt the blood on his face.

The God of Punks only saw one plan of attack at the moment; advancement in the opposite direction. Clawing at the mat, Shanahan began to slowly pull himself towards the ropes, seeking to get out of the ring as fast as possible. His back was in a world of pain and he almost regretted not ending the match when he had the chance after that. Almost.

King shook his head, his hair, which was slightly more grown out than usual, flying every which way and he stumbled up to his feet in a hurry. He didn't want Matt to get away. Not this time. He ran over and grabbed Shanahan, trying to pick him up to his feet and, if possible, suplex him onto those collapsed chairs again!

Matt was nearly at the apron by the time King grabbed him by legs and yanked him back into the ring. In the back of his head, he couldn't help but think, "NOPE. NOPE. NOPE."
But unfortunately for him, he was forced up to his feet and yanked into the suplex position. The will to fight remained strong in Shanahan though, which was clear by the quick shots he attempted to fire off at King's gut. If successful, he'd pull away and try to Irish Whip Kelly into the opposite ropes, hoping to follow after him for a brutal clothesline!

King hated running. He hated it so much that when he started to bounce off those god damned ropes, he linked his arms around them to forcibly stop himself from doing so. But then he had the enormous issue coming up to blindside him with a clothesline, so King thought fast and dropped down, trying to catch Matt's legs with a drop-toe hold as he came running at him, straight onto the middle rope!

Of course Kelly King would hate running. The King was dead in Shanahan's sights, ready to be plowed over by the clothesline. Then suddenly, he disappeared. That's okay, Matt would simply stop at the ropes...
In fact, he was going to be forced to. King slipped from his field of vision so fast that The God of Punks was caught off guard this time and tripped by the toe-hold, causing him to land neck first on the middle rope!
