< Snacks! > Gemma bounced happily on her branch, making the entire tree shake and groan a bit, despite the concrete reinforcement. She took the treats that Caesar offered with a happy rumble, then leapt down off her branch, her tiny wings fluttering uselessly as she descended. She landed with a crash and dove for her pellets. They tasted like chalk. Mmmm. Her stubby tail wagged back and forth as she ate.

Name: Gemma Species: Gargoyle Physical Description: A big stone gargoyle, solidly built, with jet black eyes and moss/lichen 'hair'. Has wings far too small to realistically support flight. Also horns and a stubby tail. Brief Character Profile: Big lumbering, and clumsy, but with a sweet and gentle soul. She is loud and boisterous and finds standing perfectly still, as most gargoyles must, to be a bit of a chore. Direct sunlight fries her brain somewhat.

Francis had barely noticed the Cerberus' absence. Really there wasn't much to talk about anyway. The humans that strolled through barely received any attention as well.
Of course, once the one that had food came about he finally he decided to crawl partially off his rock to eat. As he ate the feeling of another nap began to creep up on him.
Odd. He's felt pretty wide awake earlier. The pellets were dry and he slowly chewed them.

Probably cause he's always sleepy for some reason. He enjoys a good staring contest though for some reason all his opponents just shrivel away suddenly. He spends most of his time near the crater lake basking in the sunlight on his favorite rock.
Having spent the majority of his time in his Den, Tavast finally decided it might be time to slide on out and into the sun. Once his head entered the sunlight he squinted the glowing blue portals to his soul and slunk out toward the water. He heard some growling off in the distance, and perked up for a second - then ignored it. He was hungry, so he decided to scavenge for pellets. When he noticed a few other creatures about. Noticing they had pellets, he turned his attention to the basilisk that was actively eating.
<Hello, where did you find those?>
His stomach rumbled and he really wished he had some of those pellets.

Though honestly, he's more likely going to spend his time sunning himself near the crater lake or singing to the stones to build himself a proper den. He has more interest in other creatures than humans however, but will watch humans from a distance as long as they don't approach.

Food..Caesar grinned as more of the creatures came out of hiding once the handler had left.Food for all. You take. Go..
The bigfoot motioned to the various divided portions for all of them, each with a custom meal. Thankfully the bigger monsters weren't interested in his fruit and protein balanced diet. He never had to worry about anyone stealing it.

Name: Caesar Species: Bigfoot Physical Description: He's a bigfoot. XD About 7'6", hairy and brown, ape-ish face... ya know.. BIGFOOT. Brief Character Profile: Caesar isn't very bright. He's not fond of flash photography sad
He had been content in his silent munching, but it seemed the others were not quite so. The Basilisk's eyes had slipped closed for a moment until another voice chimed in. A single golden eye slipped open as all his legs gave an erratic twitch. His mouth was still fairly full, so while he began to chew quickly he whipped his tail around, pointing to where the lumbering Bigfoot was.
Francis swallowed hard. The half chewed pellets scraping his throat on their way down. [There.] A low hiss and with that the Basilisk took another bit of his own food. There were little chunks of meat mixed in which he appreciated he supposed. At least it wasn't all pellets this time. Though he's probably go find some little critters to hunt once it began to get dark.
Night time was when he was his most active.

<Thank you, friend.>
The Obsidian Dragon lumbered past the Basilisk toward where it had indicated where the food was located. When he reached it, he did his best not to bodily shoulder the Bigfoot out of the way, leaning his head down to start munching up the much more protean heavy diet that sustained his bulk.
<Thank you as well, friend.> The Dragon rumbled to the Bigfoot, as he gulped large mouthfuls of pellets. <Anything interesting going on as of late? Or is it same-old-same?>

Caesar had fruit juice running down his chin hair and he nodded vigorously at the dragon. This one was not as ornery as the others.Guests she say. It was followed by a shrug since he didn't quite know what 'guests' would entail.
Maybe.. they have more food? His ape-face twisted into a childlike grin.

Tavast rumbled laughter at the Bigfoot, stretching his wings a bit, having been forced to keep them close to his frame while under the earth in his den. <Heh, Guests? Maybe.... But I doubt it.>
Sitting down, he curled his tail around the front of his forelegs as he leaned his head down again to grab more pellets. <Not that I would mind if they did, they feed us barely enough as it is.>
He really didn't care about "guests" or anything - whatever it was better not mess up his den building.

It was too much to hope that they could have a few minutes alone out here.
September sighed when he felt a pair (or five) on the two of them, even though he seemed entirely content with Tobias behind him, tossing snacks to a Bigfoot nearby. "Always something watching out here." He sighed gently, tilting his head to nuzzle teasingly at Tobias's cheek before leaning back with a smile.
"Your proclamation is duly noted." He joked, but there was a warmer tone in his words than usual. "And I should very much like to have you teach me your idea of fun sometime."
He knew just as well as Tobias that flirting at work was just asking for a disaster (or a loss of job), but there was this thing called temptation that he was entirely victim to. Not to mention that his recently acquired boyfriend was not entirely great at stemming the constant urge to tease and play and forgo work at times for a private meeting outside of the line of fire and giant monster eyes.
He gave the rest of his treats to the creatures to split however they pleased, knowing that more handlers would be around whenever to give them their due meals. He was unassigned, which meant he had no obligation to go and meet their guests, but hell if he was going to let Tobias go on his own and hell if he was going to miss out on seeing what breeds of crazy they'd attracted this time around.
"If we must," He retorted dramatically, his tone sounding as though he were admitting a grave defeat. The familiar nervousness still gripped and tugged at him, jarring his thoughts with what-if's even though the park was running "smooth" enough. He couldn't say he regretted taking the job (too many good things had come out of it, and Tobias was one of them) but he was worried about the sudden addition of strangers, like adding a foreign chemical to a mystery potion and just waiting for it to go off.
Twining his elbow with Tobias's, September pulled him off in the direction he thought might have been the correct one, his smile softening at the edges.
"Time to give them a show, Tobias."

Banshee, much like her namesake, screeched as Argos pulled her out. It was painful feeling- not Argos' grip, but from the pull of Bubbles' slime. He definitely wanted to keep her in there and eat her.
Glumly, she plopped down where Argos set her. < Thanks, > was mumbled, but Banshee didn't look at him. It was embarrassing. The gratitude was reflected on everyone though, she was very glad of their help.
Trainers came in, but Banshee waited dutifully. Would she be selected today?
[ shitty post because i'm busy moving stuff back into my house! sorry! ]

Name: Banshee (given her to by keepers without ... consideration ...) Species:Frost Wyrm like black skeletal icy dragon thing idk ;_; <3 Physical Description: She's kept in half humanoid most of the time. Black hair dip dyed blue. It's straight and drapes in front of her face something like this. She's mostly skeletal with a glowy blue core, glowy blue eyes- its a deep saturated blue. Outfit is something like this w/ blue/black color scheme. Black skin with skeletal parts. Horns, wings- dragon-y stuff. Also has a foggy fog emitting from her body just to add to general ~spookiness~. When she's not half-humanoid, she's a frost wyrm, as pictured above. Brief Character Profile: Banshee has a very strong sense of justice. She's very calculated, often thinking in percents and proportions. She has a really strong sense of what's right and what's wrong she is the law. She's relatively friendly, but can be somewhat stagnant to interact with. She likes technology and other things she can take apart and put back together. Has a hard time breaking out of her shell, but not neccessarily unfriendly. A speaks-when-spoken-to sort of person.
Livi emerged from her shelter, which could only be described as a large cave....but it was definitely better that she wasn't told that. To her, on that day she had found it, her only conclusion was that it was a magical patch of stone covered by a magical floating...something, that would keep the rain from reaching her when it was stormy outside.
Right now, she had to exit this place because the grass near the entrance (which she didn't think of as an entrance because what kind of open spaced land that wasn't surrounded had an entrance, right?) was almost all eaten. To get more food, she would have to wander away for a bit. But how would a unicorn that could hardly see and without a sense of direction find her way back? Well, that certainly wasn't on her mind as she trotted in a straight line out of the cave.
Quote:
Name: Livi Species: Unicorn Physical Description: like this except not made of clay? Brief Character Profile: She's a baby unicorn. She's easily lost and confused....because she's near-sighted. Has a huge fear of walls but doesn't know she's pretty much surrounded by them? xD

The thing about Hannah's driving was that it got the job done, and then got a lot of other little sub-jobs that you hadn't ordered done too. If one were prone to car-sickness, then driving with Hannah might qualify as hell on wheels; personally, she took very great pride in the fact that she hadn't crashed anything. Yet.
"And here we are then, folks." Somewhere in their drive to Monster Mountain she'd found time to change her gum to something new (mm peanut'n'watermelon-flavour) and now the perky guide was ambling out of the car and giving her group a smile grin. "Ground rules: don't wander off from the group - if'n there's something ya want a closer look at, inform the rest of the group so we can come with you. Don't touch the creatures unless Ash specifically says it's alright, on account of her being a creature handler and knowing her stuff. You get in trouble, you notify either of us tour guides and don't try anything heroic, alright? We got ways to handle these things that you don't; not that I'm anticipating any trouble or anything, the monsters are kept docile enough. Just making sure you know what to do on the off chance that something does happen."

Usually found loudly chewing some exotic flavour of bubblegum. Brief Character Profile: Hannah generally takes to everything in life with a constant cheerful vigour and dogged determination to get things done. She's very sociable and has an ill-hidden romantic streak a mile wide. Despite her demeanour, she's quite competent at her job.

At the sound of an engine, Caesar's eyes widened. Guests? He didn't like the vehicles very much and on ingrained instinct, he scrambled behind a tree, putting the wood between him and the humans.
He peeked, quietly, from behind the trunk and observed them. What.. we do?

Ian was glad someone else was driving and Hannah's reckless approach to the action didn't even bother him at all. He tended to drive like a complete lunatic despite his relatively calm exterior, he was always in a hurry - the universe, though centred on him didn't actually wait for him very often. Besides, when you were in the industry he was, you learned to be fast on your feet and on wheels pretty early.
When they arrived, he listened and nodded along with the rules, following along with the guide. He was starting to doubt the wisdom of wearing sandals for this trip, despite how at one with the earth and all its creatures they rendered him.
"Lovely scenery." he mused, oblivious for the time being that they had company.
Guest Name: Ian Weiman Guest Profession: Pet Psychic Physical Description: Tall, blond and lanky in a loose pink shirt that looks like a reject from a 70s glam rock band, left open to reveal a chest bristling with hair, over which is sprawled an absurd number of charm necklaces, gems, wardstone pendants and all other manner of knicknacks. On his wrists he wears what has to be hundreds of jangling gold, silver and what he assures are unobtainium bracelets and every dramatic wave of his hands is heralded by a clatter of metal. His hair is a halo of backcombed disaster and his eyes are remarkably pale blue. His mannerisms are reminiscent of a slightly mad parrot.
The sound of the vehicle did not warm the dragon's heart at all. Moving away from the food - swallowing the last bit that was in his maw, he found a nice rock formation and curled around it, resting his head on his claws as he watched the humans approach.
<We wait... and hope they go away.>
No, the dragon was not thrilled at all.
