Haides smiled. "Apparently so." Beta nodded as she followed her best friends' gazes. "I'm glad. This place just makes you feel good, y'know?" She didn't know why, but it just kinda... did.

Jaromila reached over and nuzzled Haides, knowing exactly what Beta meant.
"Yes, it is such a wonderful place to come and relax. Plus, it holds such special meaning to us,"Jaromila spoke.

Haides's smile widened as he wordlessly nodded. This place... was the most important place on the Isle to him. He watched as Beta pranced about the lake, though she notably stayed away from the hill.

Jaromila couldn't believe they had such a wonderful place to relax. She leaned on Haides and just let the peace of the place wash over her.
"Seems a lot of the big moments in our life happened right here,"Jaromila commented.

"It does seem that way," Haides replied, lightly resting his head across Jaromila's neck. He was content to just be there with her.

Jaromila felt her beloved's head resting on her back and she smiled, she loved just being here with him.
"We met here, you declared your love to me, and this was where I first got sick because of our little ones,"Jaromila spoke, happiness in her eyes.

Haides smiled in remembrance. "I also introduced you and Beta here. This was where she declared us soul mates." And hadn't their families met somewhere around here too? "This is also where... I reunited with Itzal." This lake, that hill... so many of their fondest memories were carved into this place. And hopefully their children would be able to add their happy memories to it.

Jaromila nodded her head softly, yes she had met Beta here as well.
"Ah yes, almost forgot this is where you arranged my meeting with Beta and she declared us soul mates. Who knew back then how very right she was,"Jaromila grinned.

"I don't think anyone did," Haides replied. His smile widening, he added, "I don't think even Beta herself did." It wouldn't have been the first time something like that happened. She's say something profound and not even realize it...

Jaromila smiled, yes, Beta may not have even realized she was right about what she had said about the pair back then.
"Well, it is a good thing she did say something or we may not be together. Though, I suppose it could have been inevitable for us, hmm?"Jaromila suggested.

Haides sighed contently. "I don't know, but I'd like to think so." His eyes slid closed as he just listened to the sounds of nature around them. "I can't see myself with anyone else." If he hadn't met Jaromila... he might've ended up in a similar situation to Itzal.

Jaromila closed her own eyes, listening to the birds chirping in the trees and also mentally checked with her bonded, to make sure she didn't need anything.
"I can't imagine being with anyone else either, my love. You gave this mare someone to hold on to and know I was someone who mattered,"Jaromila smiled.

Haides smiled. "The feeling is mutual," he murmured. His gaze went to the hill where his daughter and nephew were. "Hopefully they will both find someone to make them feel the same way."

Jaromila reached up and nuzzled his cheek, he was so wonderful, she had figured that out long ago.
"I am sure they will, love, it will just take them some time. Let us hope they enjoy being young for a little longer though,"Jaromila replied.
