"We can rest here for a little bit. They cannot really see us here." He had to pace this a little bit. Isidore was not like his sisters, who could barely be pried from ceilings.
It also gave him time to plan his next move. He had never been in here, to be honest. All that he knew about the place was that it was barred to most of the population, and that seemed interesting enough in itself.
The stairs had opened up to a large second story, a massive crystal taking up most of the back and glimmering in every hue, much like a prism. The elves kept on their daily routine, unaware of the two divine intruders.

Isidore caught his breath and looked around the room that they were in. "It's okay." he whispered, I can keep going, though the room they had landed in was certainly very interesting. "What's that over there?" He asked, pointing to the large crystal that took up the back of the room.

"That is a very good question..." He could feel that the crystal was storing mana in some way - perhaps this was what kept the island afloat ? It would make sense to have it hidden away, in this case. Had it not been his power keeping them unseen and unheard, then the guards would have caught them a long time ago.
"We can go take a closer look, but make sure not to touch anything, alright ?"

Don't touch ... possibly the worst words someone could say to a child. Still Isidore would do his very best to not touch. He didn't want to get caught by the elves ... though he was sure his father would be able to handle things. He was a god after all. "Kay." He replied, following after him as they moved closer to the big jewel.

They would indeed carefully make their way closer to the crystal cluster, stopping some paces away from it. "Do you feel it ? The energy... It's humming, too. I think this is what keeps the island afloat. It must be here so that no one can mess with it, and the mages can look over it."
Or so he thought, at the very least.

Isidore stared at the crystal, transfixed by it. It was beautiful. "Yeah I feel it." He replied, holding his hands out towards it like someone would to a fire to feel its heat. "You think it makes the islands fly?"

"It might. Islands do not normally fly, you know. It would requite tremendous power to keep this place afloat."
The crystal looked like quartz, though with undertones of colors as it pulsed gently. Maybe if he looked, he could find more like this on this world - crystal he could take back and that were not used to so vital a purpose.
"Well. He should probably get going before we push our luck too much." The rest of their family was probably anxiously awaiting their return by now.

Isidore stared at the crystal and thought about touching it ... just to see. though if it made the island fly and he broke it then the island would fall out of the sky and that would -not- be a good thing. he was confident of this. "Oookay." he said softly, taking a reluctant step back away from it. "I don't want mama to get mad at us, she's scary sometimes."

Oh, poor Isidore had no idea how scary his mother truly could be, and hopefully he would not figure that out too quickly - or ever at all. Because it really took great stupidity for Cosine to achieve her maximum scary potential.
It would take no time at all to follow their steps back to the door.
