"It will be a rather small log I am sorry to say, it wouldn't be worth it" she said as she looked at him, noticing he was looking at her and smiled a bit more at him "th...thank you but really, I don't know how, I am finding you more intriguing, I still have more stuff to learn from you then you me" she said as she went all serious faced and mockingly shocked "is that it? I guess I can just answer that now" she said as she held up one finger and started counting them off, a new finger for each answer. "Favorite flower, I have two, would be any sort of orchid or rose, I would have to go with rain, the sun is beautiful but the rain is beautiful more so when you get to listen to it when you are trying to fall asleep all nice and warm in bed and as for dancing in the rain I haven't since I was a child" she said as she lent over and whispered in his ear. "If that is all you wanted to ask, maybe we should have gone back to the tree" she said playfully, her real self starting to show a bit more "but then I guess I would have to give up spending time with a handsome male Faun and I don't really feel like doing that yet" she said as she playfully licked his cheek and ran on toward the flowers, reaching there moments later she placed the bag down on the ground near the entrance and ran off towards a tree that was over to one side of where the wild flowers were, a branch hanging down over them and jumped up, grabbing hold of the branch and swinging herself up onto it, getting herself comfy she sat with her feet crossed at the ankles as she waited for the other. ((LOL well, in a way, thats what Lira needs, if he can remain loyal to her and playful etc (which I think will be easy for him to do) then I think seeing more of it will be a welcome thing. XD))

He laughed at her quick wit, but still took careful note of her answers. They seemed like strange questions to anyone else. Seemed. Kaiden however did not ask them for naught. Orchids, roses, rain, dancing when... His face began to burn under his fur when she leaned forward, completely caught off guard for the sudden closeness. "Handsome?" And then, the lick. His eyebrows shot up and his face warmed up even further. She certainly was like a mountain range. As she galloped away he tried to calm his thumping heart, taking a deep breath of air. It was a complete 180 from just a few minutes ago in the very same clearing. Shaking his head, he trotted over to her. "In the risk of boring you to tears I can tell you a little bit more about myself." Kaiden hopped up next to her on the branch. "I pride myself on hunting for the community, so often you'll find me checking on my snares. As far as I know, I get along with everyone and have no enemies. I can't cook, dance or sing but that doesn't stop me from trying. And in my spare time I try to make pretty girls smile." He flashed a smile to Lira, a little boyish in nature. "Like you."

Lira flashed him a smile before turning her face serious "so, I guess I picked the wrong guy to befriend then" she said as she looked at him "a guy who kills animals that I love...yeah, seems like we are not going to work out, pleasure to have meet you, I best be going, goodbye" she said as she jumped down and started to head back for her bag, deciding to see what he would do, she wasn't REALLY going to go she just wanted to play a little, that was all.

Wait. Was she joking or being serious? The male didn't know really how to feel, as Lira's emotions changed at the flick of the wrist. Kaiden hopped down from the branch to start walking towards her. "It'sreallynotthatbad!" He gushed out, his words almost tripping over themselves to get out. The poor faun had just gotten her to finally talk to him and now she was leaving! "Not every faun is a vegetarian and I honor every kill..." Plus, he would be an awful farmer. He'd be just as likely to eat the seeds as he would to plant them.

Lira stopped and turned around "i am kidding!" She said as she grinned at him "I know we Faun need our meat, I have never liked it but I do understand we need our meat, I wouldn't stop hanging out with you just because of that" she said as she walked over and took the muffins from him "I just wanted to see what you would do, I know, it was horrible I'm sorry" she said as she opened up the container and offered him the container first "though honoring every kill..." she said softly, trailing off a little before speaking again "not everyone is that considerate, Lady Artemis, I am sure, would be proud" she said, smiling softly at him, one more thing to like about this, was he too good to be true? Maybe she just lucked out but either way, he was making it hard not to crush on him even if she did have her reservations still a little.

The male all but deflated with relief, his body relaxing as the smile returned to his face. "I'm going to have gray fur by the end of our day!" He half-jokingly responded, picking up one of the muffins. "I'll forgive you, depending on how good these are." With that the male winked then took a bite. "...Well, with that standard you've earned an auto-forgive for the future too." Kaiden chucked, happily munching away. It was delicious! "Every thing has just as much right to live as we do. We need to recognize we end one life to further our own, so it must not be in vain." He was happy for her indirect compliment however, his tail giving a little flick. It was something he never thought of as it seemed so obvious to do. But who wouldn't want to be thought as considerate by a pretty faun? "I make non-lethal snares and cages, so I can release any youths. It makes the process a little more tricky, but the gain is worth it." He finished off his muffin, quite satisfied with the treat. "Which reminds me, I've got something you might like to see not too far from here."

"Well thank you, now I just have to make sure I do something that needs forgiving" she giggled and nodded "I agree, too bad not everyone sees it that way, there are still a lot of animals that get killed without any disregard to how they may feel, if we take something from this erth it is only polite to at least thank them for it, why should that poor animal loose its life just because we need something to eat? We shouldn't just take things that don't belong to us and if we do we should at least be gracious enough to honor them" she said she took a muffin and nibbled one as she placed the lid back on the container. Lira was about to mention something about the snares and cages but...but he wanted to show her something? As much as she hated to admit to herself that a warning bell went off in her mind she ignored it, curiosity getting the better of her, she trusted this guy more now, she didn't need to be weary of him right? not that she wouldn't have her guard up but still "Show me something?" She asked as she took another bite "I want to say no, i don't think it is right I go further from the tree then what I already have with you but then I do owe you a picnic on the beach so I can't really say no when the beach is further from here" she said as she took a deep breath and let it out "so please, lead on, my curiosity has, admittedly, gotten the better of me" she said as she took another bite of the muffin.

The male tilted his head slightly and blinked at the female. I wonder what an Erth is? Perhaps it was a fancy term for the area...he wasn't the most well-read pae. But he didn't say anything, not wanting to look like an idiot. He could do that well-enough just being himself. "Really? Great! I think you'll like it." The male offered an arm for the female as he flashed a smile. "It's not very far at all, I promise. I really needed to go there anyway today so this is perfect."

XD)) Lira finished her muffin and took the others arm "I guess since it isn't too far from here I guess that will be alright" she said as she remembered her bag, dropping her arm from his she ran back to get it, placed it over her shoulder and retook his arm "besides, how can I say no to such a charming smile?" She said as she gestured toward him to lead on "by your lead sir."

OOC: LOL! That was actually kind blaugh Originally he was going to ASK her! BIC: He beamed all the more at being called charming, her arm soft and warm against his own. The male started to the right, leaving the clearing of flowers behind. But even as they made their way through the trees, it wasn't too long at all until Kaiden all at once stopped. For seemingly no reason at all the male slipped his arm from Lira's. "We're here." He walked over to a rather large, thickly leaved bush. "Don't be shy, you can come over here with me." He reached down to grab a handful of grass then reached into the bush. As he gently pulled aside some leaves, it revealed a medium sized wooden box with a door flap and hook as a lock. He unhooked it and slowly opened the container. "Hey little guy..." It was a small, brown baby rabbit with bandages wrapped around one of it's legs. He dropped the grass inside. "One of my cages fell incorrectly shut on him. Hurt the poor thing. I didn't see any sign of his mother and he was too little to just set free again...So I've been taking care of him. Just until he's big enough to go solo again."

((LOL oh well, in that case I guess it was best he played dumb, not sure exactly how Lira would of been able to explain that. XD)) Lira looked around once they got to their destination and was going to ask what they were doing here, here being...well...nowhere that she would actually think of something being, all it was, whilst beautiful, was just grass, trees and bushes, not exactly somewhere that you would take a friend on some random spur of the moment outing but then, once he pulled the grass aside and listened to his tale her heart sunk, looking down at the rabbit her instincts made her want to stay away from the rabbit, making her look away she couldn't really bring herself to even see it. What happened in her past she sort of wanted to stay away from animals, it was better she just cut ties with them, too much heartache, and yet, as much as she wanted to just ignore them, and was doing a good job to having stayed within her room, she just now couldn't, why did he have to bring her here? She wanted to just leave, it would of been SO much easier, or at least she thought it would have been but she would, now that she had seen it, if only for a few moments, have worried herself sick over it. Lira, beyond her better judgement, walked carefully and slowly over to the other so as to not startle it and knelt down once she gt to the other side of the cage and gingerly reached in and pulled the little one out carefully, craddling it in her arms as she stroked its head "you poor little thing, injured and without a mother, what a horrible predicament you are in" she said as she kissed the top of the little ones head, cuddling it gently a little "I think you are going to need something special" she said softly to it as she looked in the cage and pondered for a few moments before coming to the realization she had something she could give it. "This little one won't be able to get better if it doesn't have some comfort" she said as she looked at the cage, thinking how big to make it "I have an old, still reasonably thick blanket back home, it is from my childhood, I can give you that for the little one, I will cut a little off it and keep it for sentimental reasons but the rest, I am sure, will make it a bit more comfortable and a bit more warmer for it" she said, looking down at the rabbit and softly smiling. "And I might make it a carrot and lettuce salad though I will also try and find out if there is something that it would usually help heal itself out in the wild, animals know what plants to eat to make them feel better but if I can add some of those plants to the salad then it will help as well and this little one does need to get released as soon as it is old enough, though....it would make..." she stopped herself, she was going to say 'a cute pet' but after her last disaster with pets she decided to just shake her head "ignore that, it wasn't important' she said, trying to clear up the random stoppage she just did in hopes it didn't make her look weirder then what she would have as it was...she didn't hold much hope for that though.

If Kaiden had any sense to put two and two together, he would have never brought her over. But after her concern for animals, he had guessed she would have loved to meet him. And it did appear so. The faun looked in amazement as she was able to take a wild rabbit and cuddle it so closely without the creature freaking out. "Wow...you have an incredible knack with animals." Blankets and medicine? Things he never thought of. Though he did suppose that was what mothers were for - something as a male he clearly wasn't. The male grinned as he knelt down beside her, looking at the ball of fluff in her arms. "A nice pet, right?" It wasn't exactly hard to piece together what she was getting at before she stopped. "I've thought about that. Even thought of names. But I didn't think that I'd be able to provide a good enough life for him. But you...You seem very capable."

((Yeeeah, Lira being randomly good with wild rabbits shouldn't of happened, I was just playing on the fact that it was caged, it couldn't really properly move (thanks to the injury hindering it a bit also) and so it was easy enough to get it even if it did flinch a little or try to pull away...which I guess I should of added into the rp. I'm sorry ^^; )) Lira smiled a little "I don't really, just that this one is injured and caged, it can't really do anything but let a Pae take it, it sort of had no choice in the matter and besides you have done a good job at taking care of it so far that there might be a little bit of trust within it when it comes to Pae, or at least you, I decided to just try my luck since I was taking advantage of its disadvantage but also, I admit, I have watched Lady Artemis a few times with animals when I was growing up, I wouldn't say it was the best lessons considering I would rather watch from a distance then actually go up and ask to help her but I did pick up one or two things" she said as she stopped and looked at him. "It was but...but I couldn't" she said as she stroked the head of the rabbit once more "look at where my last two pets got me" she said as she bit back tears that were wishing to fall and just took a deep breath and let it out "but thank you for saying so but I just don't want to take on that responsibility again" she said as she as she looked at the baby rabbit "and yet, I can't say no to taking it either..." she said with a sigh as she looked at him. "I know, how about we take care of it together?" She said, knowing that this may be a strange arrangement but she it would be a while till it was old enough to be on its own and till then it would have to remain caged anyway so since he would have to take care of it anyway then the both of them could become foster parents to the little one, maybe even get it a little male friend later on when it is strong enough and well enough to handle another rabbit sharing its space and keep it company when they were not there. "At least then the little one would have two parents, it will get better faster if it was kept in the warmth of the tree, hoping Rais wouldn't mind a rabbit within the walls that is and I can't really see us spending more time together as a bad thing" she said smiling at him, hopng he wouldn't say no to the idea, it would be fun taking care of the cutie with him instead of on her own even if she was brave enough to do it by herself.

OOC: lol! Gotcha. I thought it was a thing, what with her befriending wolves. Lira's hidden talent! BIC: He nodded understandingly, enjoying the sight of Lira holding the little fella. "Well, more than that. You understand that they eat plants for medicine, and thought of a blanket. I wouldn't have thought as much...sadly sometimes it seems my heart is bigger than my brain." He chuckled warmly. At the suggestion of taking care of the bunny together he paused thoughtfully. It wasn't a bad idea as two heads were better than one. "I do suppose that means we should come up with a name for the little guy." He couldn't imagine Rais having quarrel with sheltering a creature of the forest. The Chief simply had to love nature just as much as any faun.

"When you are around the Goddess of the Hunt who has a knack of tending to animals you pick up a few things though when it comes to actual hunting don't even get me started, no matter how many times I could watch her hunt I hate it and I just don't even know where to start with even using a bow and arrow, so I would suck at hunting even if I didn't mind the whole killing side of things" she said as she lent over and kissed his cheek. "and don't be sorry, it is one of the things I like about you" she said, blushing a little as she looked down at the rabbit, she was meant to just tell him she admired it about him, everything else wasn't meant to happen "and a name would be good" she said, wondering what to name the little guy "and thank you for doing this with me" she said, playing a little with the rabbits long ear, so soft and silky smooth, this little guy was going to be spoilt, she could see that now. ((Wish I could say that it was but the wolves were orphans and scared of Pae contact as it was, Lira, discovered the wolves, they didn't want anything to do with her but she just persisted on bringing them food/giving them her company every day/every other day which is how they slowly warmed up to her. Lira=outcast, she loved the family Artemis had made but she didn't REALLY feel like she fitted in exactly so... ))
