The training ground had suddenly went from deserted playground to the hub of socializing in just a few moments. Saiyuri could not help but smile as she felt the presence of a number of familiars. Xanatos' mind brushed against hers casually and the elder Mayu returned the gesture. A warmth would be felt from the boy as Saiyuri created a link with him. As with most Mayu, she chose not to speak in order to communicate but shared a number of feelings and impressions. At first it was a happiness to see him, and then a query as to how he has been. There was genuine care in her. She had seen the report from a recent mission he had gone on, one that turned out to be far more bloody than any had expected. Saiya could recall the hitch in her breath as she read what happened. Xanatos' team had conducted themselves very professionally and not only completed the mission, but escaped with little injuries. They had proved that they could work together and execute battle tactics very well. But Saiyuri knew these could have a toll on the mind of each individual. She had not seen her cousin since he had left for the mission and Saiya had been concerned for his well being. Seeing him outside and here in particular made her feel content.
An anomaly appeared on the radar that is Saiyuri's mind. Curiosity sparked, a habit the woman could hardly stop. With a mind like her's it was nigh on impossible to stop it from craving answers. Without much of a thought as to why she wanted to know so bad, Saiya extended a mental link towards the girl known as Alice. She did not speak nor did she share a single bit if information. Instead the Kage merely let Alice be aware of her presence. To solidify this contact and perhaps alleviate some of the awkward feelings behind this mode of contact Saiyuri turned her head and looked up to where Alice was currently perched. Her eyebrows furrowed in momentary concentration as she focused on Alice. She had not seen her around before but Saiya wished she had. Maybe it was the way the light was catching in her hair, or the angle of viewing, but Saiyuri thought that the girl was very beautiful.
Zeppelin's audible words did not fall on deaf ears throughout this ordeal. Saiyuri was capable of splitting up her conscious into a number of different focuses and carry on like normal. She turned her head back to the young girl and placed a hand on her shoulder, and an almost cocky smirk appeared on her face. Saiya raised an eyebrow at the girl as she thought to her. "I don't believe that in the slightest. I've never met a 'just normal' girl looking to host a demon. There are plenty of facets of knowledge to pursue even without clans, bloodlines, and even an element. The universal or null element jutsu list holds some of the techniques that I believe all ninja should know, yet they ignore in favor for flashier and more costly maneuvers. Do not diminish yourself for lacking an inheritance. Sometimes those who are without such additions are indeed the most special." Saiyuri thought to the girl, transmitting images of some of the most fundamental techniques that Saiya herself knew. She showed herself balancing on wires, summoning shadow clones, and even breaking out of genjutsu. "You don't even need to walk the path that has been mapped out before. Crafting and creating your own jutsu is another method of training. Ninjutsu is not the one and only thing to work on. There are physical and weapon styles, medical techniques, illusions, sealing methods, and so much more. The world is open to you Zeppelin, and you're the only one tethering yourself down." She said motivationally. Hopefully the girl would have caught onto something she wanted, and Saiya could school her in the fine arts of whatever she wanted.
As Saiya had been explaining things to Zeppelin she felt the aura of another she knew; Kozi Nakaya. When she first met the girl her last name had haunted her. Saiyuri had once known a boy by that name, one who had had a profound affect on her life. He was gone now, and yet it seemed as if a ghost of him was still here with Saiya. But she knew full well that they were not the same person. Kozi was far different from the friend she once had. Saiya extended a link to the newly promoted girl, opening the channel between then. "Congratulations, Kozi. I had read of your promotion in today's reports. I cannot think of a kunoichi more fit and deserving of this rank than you. I hope you will continue to grow." She said, the feeling of pride seeping into the link. Saiyuri loved to see her charges bettering themselves and climbing higher in the world. It always brought her thoughts to the future. It was times like these that Saiyuri could believe that Soragakure would be in good hands after she was gone.

Pitter patter. Tat tat. Thud. Thunk. Misaki sprinted along the various rooftops in the training area, jumping on and off various terrain as fast as she could. Her rubber-soled boots absorbed much of the impact, assisting in the time attack run by gripping surfaces that'd otherwise slide right under her. Of course, it'd make sense to do what normal shinobi did and use chakra to basically magnetize herself to the surfaces, but this was a traditional part of her routine. One of her toes clipped the edge of a balcony and sent her tumbling, forcing her to take a hard tumble to recover herself before going off another roof. That risk was part of it, too. Couldn't have anything nearly as fun as that if she could just up, down, and around walls. Time attack failed though, and she'd have to try another day. There were more interesting things going on.
Scanning the area around the rather scary Kage, she spotted a frail looking girl wearing a somewhat similar outfit. How uncanny. The only reason she'd be wandering around with the head of the village would be some type of personal training. That sounded like something she'd want in on. With a quick smirk and a flick of her tail, Misaki hopped among the rooves at a leisurely pace, and landed a comfortable distance from the pair. First giving a respectful nod to Saiyuri, she greeted them.
"Yo, care to let me join?"
Still bothering you? Punch it again."

~Iki Yabo~
Kazumi was preoccupied with focusing on her breathing. A bead of sweat dripped off her nose and splashed into the puddle forming beneath her. Staring intently at the ground, her body was supported on her forearms. Her legs were arched over her body and her feet rested upon her head. So it was pretty important she ignored the little academy students gathering around her. Letting out a large exhale, she uncoiled herself to the sound of 12 little kunoichi exhaling at the same time. Kazumi squinted and pouted her lips, looking disapprovingly at them. The face quickly dissipated however. How could she ignore their cute enthusiasm? “Did you want to learn something from me?” The girls cheered and circled her. “How do you get so bendy!” One girl exclaimed. Kazumi made the girls line up behind her and began to lead a demonstration. After teaching them the basic drill, she riled them up. “Okay, let’s run through it from the top. I you practice this every day, your body will become gradually loosen up. Then maybe when you’re older, I’ll teach you how to apply it. Until then, remember. Be what?” The girls replied in chorus. “Soft as a cloud, like bamboo blowing in the wind”. Kazumi nodded approvingly and turned, beginning the demonstration again.
“Let your body grow” A small giggle squeaked out from behind her, but she ignored it and continued. “If Yin is the spiritual energy that fuels our chakra, Yang is the physical energy that guides it”. More suppressed giggles. “Clouds do not talk!” She left her pose and spun around. Iki lay face first in the ground. His limbs were twisted together in almost a pretzel like fashion and he seemed to be struggling with untangling himself. Kazuki placed a hand to her temple and let out an exasperated sigh. Great. The little kunoichi exploded with laughter, falling out of their little poses. Kazumi’s eyes narrowed to dangerous slits. “Training is over.” A collective aww filled the air as the girls began to return back to their sensei. Iki began to follow in an awkward rolling motion. Two of the kunoichi began to roll him too until Kazumi barked out “Leave him”, sending the little girls running for their lives.
Iki looked up innocently as Kazumi approached. “Well?” Iki’s face just scrunched up as if he were intently listening to her. “Being cute, are we?” “No. I trying to be a cloud. And clouds. Don’t. Talk.” This guy was always working her nerves. “I said training was over!” She stomped her heel into his ribs and twisted it. Iki suddenly unfolded from his strange configuration with an uncomfortably ecchi grunt. She stomped on him a few more times, each punctuated by the akward moan. She blushed and turned away. “What do you want.” Iki sat up and pointed to his face. “You’re going to teach me how to fight like a kunoichi.” “WHAT”. Iki sprung to his feet and pulled out a pouch filled with Ryo and a sealed letter of request from Satoshi’s family. “Oh, no WAY! How did you get that?” She eyed him with equal parts disbelief and suspicion. “I mean, I heard the rumors”. Iki laughed and waved it off. “The villagers will always find a way to keep the rumor mill going, even if the river runs dry. Either way, I could have gotten anyone. But” he reached out and then pulled his hand back against his chest as if unsure. “I just knew it had to be you.” “Iki….I missed…I missed…” Kazumi reached out as if to embrace him. Iki took a step forward into it and suddenly felt himself falling to his knees. “…That poetic garbage excuse for romance you always feed any woman that takes your fancy” Kazumi brought her knee back down to where it belonged and watched as Iki rolled on the ground clutching his groin. “Chh. Frraahhh just uhhhgggg waiii” She began to walk away but paused and looked over her shoulder. “You know why. Do the routine I showed the girls until you can actually do it with a full range of motion. When you finish that, I’ll give you a few more before we start on any actual techniques. If your body can’t bend as easily as a grass stalk, you aren’t going anywhere.” They both knew he would too. He was stubborn like that. She fully turned and gave him an unladylike gesture of grabbing her crotch. “And remember that pain, so you know exactly how hard I'm going to make this for you.”
As she stormed off the training field to Kami knows where, Iki pushed off the ground with one hand and sat while still holding his crotch with the other. He called out after her “If it's as hard as you used to make it, I look forward to it” A kunai appeared between his legs, just barely grazing the skin off of his knuckle. The knuckle corresponding to the finger she had almost put a ring on.
He smiled.

It became evident that someone had invaded her thoughts. No, invaded wasn't the right word. It was more like she just made herself present. Alice was very aware of the person inhabiting her mind, and welcomed the notion. She smiled sweetly, then lowered herself from the hanging roof, landing gracefully on the city street below her, almost curtsying. The place seemed to be bustling with activity, with rookies fresh out of the academy. Alice remembered a time when she was in their position, with nothing but a determined spirit and an inflated ego to back it up. Things had changed since then. Alice had matured, in more ways than one. Other than filling out physically, she changed im other ways. With age came finesse, and with finesse came skill. Never did she dream of getting to this level of ingenuity. Of course, she still maintained a few things, like the moxie that got her into this line of work. Reminiscing could wait though, for there was a more important matter in her Alice's line of sight. She had an aptitude for putting things off, but this seemed different... important. Slowly she walked towards Saiya, hands within her coat pockets. "Alice, Jounin. Reporting for duty."

[Time Bubble Saiya] It was almost as if Saiyuri had thrown on a switch to a big neon pink sign that advertised her being here at the training grounds. Now all of the nuggets were coming out of the woodwork and looking for training. On one hand this was wonderful; the village as a whole would grow ever stronger as the genin worked to better themselves. On the other hand Saiyuri seriously needed to skidaddle on over to the meeting with the Tsukikage. Before Zeppelin or really anyone else had a chance to respond to the pale beauty, yet another youngling joined the fray. This girl may literally have ears, though Saiya wanted to believe it was just her jacket and an odd accessory. She was quite the spectacle; dressed with a tail and her mismatched eyes. This girl would probably gather a lot of attention, then again the way she held herself suggested that's exactly what she wanted to do. With a shrug, Saiyuri waved her on over, accepting her role as teacher of the masses.
[Not Time Bubble Saiya] Alice! That is where she had saw the name. Saiyuri's demeanor immediately perked up when the girl announced herself. The dossier this morning had foretold of a kunoichi by that name, though Saiyuri had ditched her office in favor of actual sunlight and human connection. But she had found her, and now they could be off. "It is wonderful to meet you, Alice. I regret that it is not on better terms though. There is an urgent meeting I must attend and I am bringing you as my second in case there are any issues. I hope you are ready, for I believe we are already late." Saiyuri said fervently, rushing forth to the nearest building. She jumped forward, planting one foot on the wall of a building and pushing herself upward. Rather than using chakra she used her physical strength and hoisted herself up smoothly. She would need all her reserves in the event things did get messy. Once Saiya scaled the building she leaped into the air and magnetized herself to the skyrails. Saiya was whisked off into the distance, heading for the entrance of Soragakure.

Kozi held up her training by moving on to performing a fast bit of seals and aiming her head forward. She exaled and what looked like a snake made entirely of fire went flying out of hit and hit a nearby wall used to block jutsu. She held the jusu as long as she could, leaving a large black scorch mark on the wall where she had hit. (Fire Dragon)
The next thing she went to was a shakuton technique she heard that the kekkei tota was known for. She performed a set of foreign seals and a chakra just as odd flowed out of her body. She molded it with her very precise chakra control and then solidified it. It was a wild power, but contained in three small balls, much like her own explosive potential was being held and molded by her age and body. The three balls all flowed around her and she sent them each at a tree. When they impacted the three trees were instantly set ablaze and dehydrated until they were black stalks of lifeless dry steaming nothingness. (Extremely Steaming Murder)
Following on that she moved onto something decidedly less intimidating. As she weaved through seals and seperated her chakra back out into fire and wind individually, the fire rushed forward and she spat out an oily substance in a circle around her body. She then snapped her finger and all around her a wild fire from the oil kicked up, obscuring her within it's confines and keeping her image distorted and looking secure in it;s own evilness. She smiled as she thought of this and willed the fire to die down before shaking off the sudden onset of crazies and began to realize the fire represented a certain, hungry part of her that will consume and destroy until nothing is left but a world she never felt truly connected to until recently. ((Bed of FLames.))
Saiya really did have a way with words. Her speech had helped to rebuild her waning confidence, and now she was entirely ready to get down to business. She had given her area of expertise plenty of thought before hand, so she didn't need to spend much more time on the thought. The medical field had always seemed like a good fit for her, so that's what she wanted to work on. But just as she was about to tell Saiya, a mysterious new girl appeared on the scene. Normally, Zeppelin would have just continued on with her sentence, but this new comer had a...well...unusual look to her. One that successfully derailed Her train of thought. "I....um...huh?" she stumbled, trying to think of an addiquite response to the girl's question. In all honesty, she didn't mind...but it was entirely up to her teacher if she wanted to take on another student.
xxxxx Xanatos smiled and acknowledged Saiyuri-senpai presence. He was glad that she was alright after the entire fiasco that began with the village falling. She seemed to have been taking the whole "lifting the entire village up with her mind thing" rather well. He floated closer and waved to his sensei.
"Cool." Misaki responded. There was only so much that she could learn on her own, and as highly as she thought of herself, progressing further would only be possible through proper guidance. Maybe then she could lone wolf it again in the future, but she needed a baseline, which the Kage was willing to provide. She glanced towards the frail looking girl, and then strolled over to her with her hand outstretched. "Name's Misaki, look forward to training with you." The fox girl introduced herself, her tail swishing back and forth. After the other girl responded she turned back toward Saiyuri.

[Time Bubble Saiya]
The confusion was not only clear in Zeppelin's mind, but also in the way she held herself. A faint smile spread across Saiyuri's lips as she shook her head and began to gesture as she 'spoke' to each of her ninja. First she met the gaze of each of them in turn, addressing them as a group. "I cannot determine your professions and lives for you. Please, tell me what it is you are interested in learning and I will do my best to accommodate each of you. There should be little I am unaware of, so I doubt we will run into any problems." She thought without a shred of pride nor any feeling of bragging. A Mayu was an encyclopaedia of all the facets of information they were ever shown, even if only once. Saiyuri had taken the time to read about the known techniques of many different styles, elements, and more. She could teach anyone how to shoot fireballs from their finger tips or even how to bake a perfectly good cake. Whatever these genin needed, Saiyuri had it. After speaking to the group Saiyuri would leave the links up but think only to Zeppelin. "I already know what it is you want, so we may as well begin. The first thing every single medic in the universe should know how to tell what is wrong with someone. It is purely chakra based. You run your energy-charged hands along the afflicted's body and you will passively receive information." Right on cue a random and injured genin strolled on by. Saiyuri hailed him with her mind and asked him to aid Zeppelin. With a quick glance Saiya herself could tell that the boy had cut himself, though she was not sure how. There seemed to be something inside of the wound. That would be clear visibly, but an assumption led Saiya to believe that this boy would be running at a slightly higher temperature from normal. The wound did not look like it was doing well.

~Iki Yabo~
Iki lay in the sun, staring up at the sky. All the swagger in the world to face an enemy. A meek curtsy to face a friend. Whatever. One step closer to obtaining the skills he needed. As the soreness dissipated, he sat up and recomposed himself. Infiltrate, assimilate, assassinate. He still wasn’t sure about that last part. Killing an human had to be different from killing an animal, right? But to make it to an ANBU level, you had to kill, right? He lay there pondering it for a bit before he gave up. Whatever. Cross that bridge when we get to it. Brining his focus back to the reason for his visit, Iki vaulted onto his feet and began to study what he had learned.
Infiltrate. Iki closed his eyes and concentrated on molding his chakra. It had to come out and surround himself. Impose your will on the outside world. That’s what molding chakra was, right? Maybe. Class was too boring to pay attention in when he could be doing other things. So he just did other things. Taking a deep breath, he sunk into the ground and opened his eyes. Awesome. He began to swim through the earth, spinning in all directions as he took in the layout of the ground. As he swam he felthimself losing grip on the jutsu. He popped out of the ground gasping. “Whoohoo”. He cheered. After a few more tries, he got the feel for how far he could go before he would lose control. [Learned: Earth Military Movement]
Iki resumed his position on the ground, watching the clouds drift by. So he could travel through the earth. That was pretty useful. But could he take it further? He swam through the earth. How fast? How far? He sat up and planted his hands on the ground. Why not find out? At most, he would just get tired, right? He had watched the older shinobi practicing. They had gone through the motions with him, but told him to wait. For what? To suddenly get stronger? Iki laid down on his stomach and began to form the seals. If he used this technique, it would probably be while running or hiding. Which always ended up with someone going prone. He concentrated and tried to envision the entrance to an empty building on the other side of the training camp. He had some training equipment stashed there that he didn’t see fit. His senses extended and he could swear his chakra was almost touching it. That’s when his hands came together and created the seals he had memorized. He felt the chakra leaving his body as he slowly sunk into the ground…and popped up in front of the door. “Awww yeas”. He rolled onto his back with satisfaction. That wasn’t something he planned on using more than once, maybe twice, a fight. You hear a bunch of things about chakra and techniques in the academy, but feeling it out definitely was something different. It took a lot out of him. He decided to take a small break to meditate to replenish his stamina and focus. Excitement was unprofessional and he had to learn how to keep it reeled in. Or maybe find a different outlet for it…Deciding upon the direction for his meditation, he ohmmed to find a solution. [Learned: Instantaneous Body Skill]
An outlet. That’s what he needed. The cold, professional sniping would be complemented by a passionate style based on instinct. Yea. Something cool. Like a predator. He thought about the wolves and the bears and the jungle cats. Something with claws. Iki fell to his back and kicked his legs in the air giggling. Yea. That’s an image that he could build. He sat up and swiped at the air like a cat. An image he that could get famous. And fame brought the village contracts and prestige. Yea, it was decided. Iki would create his own style. More than a style, he’d create a signature. Playful to deadly. Just like an animal. He lept to his feet and bowed toward the sun. Meditation felt awesome.
But he shouldn't run before he could walk. Although he kind of already did. His teachers said he was exceptionally good at chakra control. Iki had been happy to hear that, given the personal vendetta he was on. They had laid out steps for him to improve his chakra control but Iki had decided to forge his own path. He felt like that's what learning was. But it wasn't as if he ignored their suggestions. The basic justu they had made him practice was what would probably become the bread and butter of his profession. Iki molded chakra to his feet and tried to even it out.
He put a foot against the building and tested the grip. No, it didn't feel right. He re-adjusted the proportion and tried to grip into the wall instead of standing on it. Better. He swung up the other foot and smashed into the wall. Whoops. He pried it free, ignoring the scrapes and cuts he procured. Okay, maybe that was too much. He gingerly placed the sole of his foot onto the building and tried again. There we go. He wobbled up and around the building, peeking into windows and trying to get used to being parallel with the ground. Maybe he should have listened to them after all. He threw his hands up and released, falling to the ground with a loud thud. Iki squinted against the rays of the sun and raised a hand to block them. The world really was a big place. [Learned: Tree/Wall/Water Walking ]
Too big. Anything can happen. Iki wrapped his dirty jacket around his waist and pulled his hair back into a ponytail. Fun had its place, but this wasn’t it. Outlet. Save the fun for the animal. The genin walked into his would be training armory and plucked a crossbow off of the wall. He tinkered around with it, beads of sweat from the long day sliding down his blank face. It was kind of like a ritual. Before he hunted an animal, he always checked his gear three times over. His crossbow had misfired once while a boar was barreling down on him. Needless to say, he owed somebody his life. He turned the crossbow in his hands and measured the counterbalances and the tension of the string.
Satisfied, he jogged over to the firing range and set up the targets. The last thing we would train for today was a technique he had learned from the jounin that regularly visited the training grounds. From what he understood, it was a good technique for extended missions but it wasn’t a substitute for a good solid bolt. He took a knee and aimed down the sight. Concentration was key. He visualized a bolt from the tips of the stabilizers to the square shaped tip. He held the image just like he was taught and let the chakra flow from his fingers into the flight groove. The bolt materialized. Iki merely took aim and shot. “Huh. It’s lighter. Gonna have to compensate for the variation”. He shot a few more to get a feel for how taxing it was before he put the crossbow down. [Learned: Chakra Shot]
Iki went to check where the arrows landed and how long they would stay solid. Making the mental note, he walked back about half way and set up another standing target. Moving back into place, he loaded an actual bolt and drew in a deep breath. Impose your will. That's what chakra did. It manifested will to reality. He exhaled and shot a bolt that embedded itself within the half-way target. No good. He set it up again and shot, pushing the tail with his chakra. It shot off at an angle and continued going forward. So then? He repeated the process until his lower body burned from kneeling so long. And there it was. He exhaled and shot, his chakra pushing the tail of the bolt to angle it out and then climbing the shaft to pull it back into it's target. He lowered the crossbow and rose to his feet. Acceptable. [Learned: Curve Shot]
"Haa?" She began, tightened her fingerless gloves. "I thought it was pretty obvious what I like to be trained in, you're packin' it. Dunno' about Princess Snowdrop over there, but I want to hit stuff, fast and harder." Misaki replied with a confident grin. She adopted a mock stance and threw and few punches, and a single kick to get the point across. The Kage's physical strength was pretty well known, and she wanted in on some of that, but maybe it'd help if she narrowed it down a bit for me. "How about something to limber me up? I've heard that 'kunoichi' combat style is pretty popular nowadays." She put emphasis on the kunoichi title of the style, mocking the female exclusivity it implied.
Zeppelin quickly approached the genin and got a brief survey of the affected area. The wound, a pretty deep gash running down his thigh, had grown red around the edges and started to swell. She had scene this kind of thing numerous times with the nurses; it just meant his body was fighting off an infection. It wasn't too serious of a threat, but if left untreated for too long, it would cause serious problems. It looked like a pretty standard case, but it was best to make sure. That, and she also had a jutsu to learn. Zepp focused her chakra along the palms of her hands, giving them a steady, green aura, and ran them along the wound. In all honesty, she had no clue what she was looking for, or even how to look for it. She did notice, however, that her palms seemed to become more sensitive than ever before. She felt the outlines of the wound, the warmth of his skin, all without even making contact. After a few more scanning motions, Zeppelin honed in on a few details. The wound was about an inch deep and evenly cut, except for a small protrusion lodged inside the wound. Along with the shard of whatever, the boy's temperature did not match his outward appearance. It seemed his body was failing to fight off infection and he had developed a fever. Zeppelin quickly turned to Saiya, "He needs immediate medical attention. This cut is pretty bad..." she said, .
