Deborah Jetson Deborah Jetson  Zipporah was trying to not freak out at what the man, Oris had said. He was kidnapping her because she was the final piece to someone's plans. Hell, who are they that want me? I'm only a simple harper and why would I be the final piece to someone's plan??? All I know now is that I got to get away from Oris somehow.......Zipporah looked up at Oris, noticing that his eyes were glowing fiercely out of his helm. Oris scared her, and if it hadn't been for twisting her ankle earlier, she would have already climbed out the back of the wagon to get away. She still might do that, only to delay the man and hopefully Rilus can catch up with them soon. Assuming that Oris didn't use something to prevent her from escaping.... Zipporah wasn't going to let the man place doubts in her mind about Rilus. No, she couldn't let herself believe that as Rilus was the only one that knew she needed help...."Who are they that want me? I'm only a simple harper and nothing more. How can I be the final piece to their plans? I don't understand why they would want me for.." Zipporah asked Oris, wondering if he would answer those questions and hoping that he wasn't going to tie her up before she could try to get away later on. Hoping that Oris couldn't read her mind...Oris starred down at Zipporah with the same glowing unhuman eyes. It was unsure what he was going to do with her. He gave no emotion to hint what he would do with her, was he truly dangerous, was he going to find somewhere to dispose of her, was he going to deliver her to the ones who sought her. "One hundred years ago Southern capital of Gilore was destroyed to ensure that another mad king got a rare treasure that GIlore refused to sell. three hundred years ago in Hilla a wee 3 year out prince was abducted from his room fifty floors up in the second largest tower in the all the land, all to be sacrificed in a cults ritual. seven hundred eighty years ago a kings canary was stolen from him, the canary having the power to sing anyone to sleep. It was used to steal many treasures from all around the land." He paused a moment and turned away for a minute as if he was oblivious to anything going on around himself, almost in a trance as a few more minutes began to pass by. Then out of nowhere he called to her. "Do you know what role you have in common in these stories?" He finally asked her.

Zipporah listened top what Oris said to her and it didn't make any sense to her. He's mad to think that I will play in a similar role as those in those stories... I can only hope that Rilus will help me soon.... She thought as she couldn't tell what he would do next."I do not know what role you are talking about. There's no way that I would share a similar role as those in those stories, not that I know of." Zipporah said back to him wondering what he might know about her that she may not know about."If you know something about me that I don't know, then please enlighten me about it." Deborah Jetson Zipporah listened top what Oris said to her and it didn't make any sense to her. He's mad to think that I will play in a similar role as those in those stories... I can only hope that Rilus will help me soon.... She thought as she couldn't tell what he would do next."I do not know what role you are talking about. Oris turned his gaze back over to her, his voice the same. "Your fate is to be the rare treasure, the wee prince, and the canary. So as long you exist or follow that pathetic Prince." He prophesied to her. Was it his intention to frighten her, or just warn her. "I was summoned to take you back to 'where you belong'. Those were 'his' words." He went then back over, and sat down as if to steer the wagon again. "Know your options. You could stay on this wagon and give in to 'him'. You could jump this wagon and try to live the fall. Or you could simply snap out of it...." The Onyx armored knight said with much more mystery.

It was nonsense, it had to be, to Zipporah's thinking.I would be fought over, stolen or even killed if I was to exist? I'm only a simple harper and who is this him that he speaks of? She thought as Oris continued their journey to this 'him'."You are only taking me away from where I do belong. I was heading back to my home but then I fell of the wagon and came across you." Zipporah said before continuing." Who is this 'him' that you speak of? What do you mean by snap out of it?." She asked him, wanting to know who this 'him' was and what he meant by snapping out of it.

Oris groaned tired of the length of conversation, he wasn't used to communicating this much with others. "I guess you really are weak to illusions, just like that Prince." He said right before Rilus' voice was heard.  "Zipporah! Are you alright?" Rilus' voice echoed all around the wagon. It almost seemed as his voice shot from the sky, somewhere invisible to her. "Call back to him if you are sure its the path you choose." Oris finally said, his body giving out no sign of life. His attention seeming non-existent.

Zipporah wished that Oris would say who this man was that wanted her."Who is it that wants me to have you to fetch me in the first place?" She asked him, even though she could tell that he was tired of talking to her. Her curiosity was getting the better of her and didn't know why someone would kidnap her for. Then she heard Rilus calling out for her, assuming it wasn't a trick of Oris to make her think that he was there. Would he simply let her go after he got her? Zipporah wasn't sure what to think."Rilus!?! Is it really you?" Zipporah said as she went to the opposite end of the wagon from Oris."I am injured but nothing life threatening." She answered back to Rilus, thinking that not having a life threatening injury could change soon if Oris wanted to injure her to keep her from escaping. What was she to do now?

Oris never answered her question on who wanted her and she wanted to know! A little surprised that Oris let her go so easily as well. Zipporah didn't understand what Rilus was saying at first but didn't take long. Another chilling thought came to her and it sent chills down her spine. She didn't even want to think at what could have happened if she had met the man that wanted her. If he had magical powers.... She shivered as she tried to get what could have happened out of her mind. Her grandmother that warned her against what could happened in the world of dreams.... Zipporah began to wake from the deep sleep that she was in. She wasn't sure how she ended up in the deep sleep of dreams. She knew that was some part of it was illusion as well. "Rilus? What happened?"Zipporah said groggily after waking up from the deep sleep. She remembered what had happened for now and wanted to forget it. Especially the what could have happened....

He never saw the Onyx clad knight, and hadn't the same experience she had. "Whats important are you okay? Besides the ankle?" Rilus knew they were making a lousy escape from the kingdoms surrounding forests. They were but a days ride from a nearby village that he knew of, if they needed a doctor that is..

Zipporah wasn't sure what to say as she glanced around the area before trying to sit up. " I know that I'm going to have several bruises from the fall off the wagon. They hurt now for that matter and I probably got some more when I fell a second time and injured my ankle in that fall. Are you alright Prince Rilus? " She said before sitting up slowly. Her body hurt all over but mainly her right ankle. "It's mainly my right ankle that hurts the most for the moment. Did you happen to see an Onyx clad knight nearby? He tricked me to go with him as he used an illusion disguise on. He was disguised as you and 'rescued' from a vile creature and took me to his wagon. He claimed that he was taking me to where I belong. Where ever that might be as someone else had hired him retrieve me. I wished that he had revealed who it was that wanted me but he didn't. Surprised that he let me go like he did though. One minute I was in the back of his wagon and then I was here with you, trying to wake me."Zipporah said before wincing a little at the pain in her right ankle. She wondered how Rilus would respond to the onyx clad knight. Would he think that she dreamed it all or what? She was ready to get to Tullamore at this point. Zipporah wouldn't blame Prince Rilus if he thought that she was loony at this point...."We need to get back to the wagon to dry off. I hope Luna is alright. Do you know how far we are from Luna and the wagon? "Zipporah asked him as the night came closer upon them. She hoped that she will be able to walk some but wasn't sure until she gets up to try."This incident confirms that vision from yesterday that someone wants me... Why me though? I'm only a harper, there's nothing more special about me..."Zipporah asked aloud but not expecting Rilus to answer her. The question took her mind of the pain and thinking of who from her past that would want her in some way with a far away look in her eyes.

Rilus could tell that Zipporah was shaken up by how many questions came out of her mouth. It seemed she was in an illusion just as he was moments ago. He knew they weren't far from the wagon but half a mile walk. "Don't worry, we will find out why all these strange things are happening to you. sorcery can be a complicated thing, and it seems it may be connected to you in someway." He then slid his arms underneath her and held her in his arms. Simple harper or more, I will take you to your wagon. Don't want to aggravate your injuries any further. Prince Rilus also had an ominous feeling he knew of the Onyx clad knight she had mentioned, but didn't want to believe it to be true. He said walking with her in his arms through the light rain.

Zipporah Habakkuk Zipporah shivered from the cold as she listened to what Rilus had to say. Her body tensed up some when Rilus picked her up to carry her back to the wagon. Needless to say, she wasn't expecting to hear that Rilus would, will help her find out why these strange things were happening to her even though his kingdom had been taken away from him. A bright pink blush graced her pale, porcelain skin that was paler than usual."Thank you," Zipporah said to him as she felt like she had become more of a burden to him than anything else right now. She was thankful that he was with her and helping her but it was a blow to her self-esteem. Zipporah wrapped her arms around Rilus as they made their way back to her wagon. Oh how she wished that she could take a hot bath once they were in her wagon but knew that wasn't going to happen. A sigh escaped her lips and hoped that she wasn't going to get sick as well along with her injuries this evening.A bird embracing....
