[Genin] [Tsukigakure] [Bakuton] [Jashinist] [Taijutsu]

Luka himself savored the food. There were four things in his life that he enjoyed greatly; serving Jashin, murdering people, eating food, and pleasuring oneself. His kind could not die from wounds or sickness, but they could die from malnutrition. It was perplexing, but Luka accepted this as Jashin's way of having Luka try new things. There was literally no type of food he disliked, save for calamari. It was not because of the taste, but rather the suction cups and tentacles. Luka looked around at the hustle of the people all around. Most of the onlookers had been pushed away by now, leaving only the military force. It was such a small gathering that Luka could not help but think of how easily they could be crushed. Even an alliance was something to be very careful about. Soragakure could take advantage of them in their weakened state and destroy them. He looked at the ground for a moment and pondered that, the possibility of a true death. If it were to come for him, then clearly Jashin no longer favored Luka. If that was the case, he would be sure to try and please his god one last time before dying.

Luka laughed at Shinj calling the sky villagers monkeys. He had heard tales of their technologically advanced city. They apparently traveled via some sort of skyline system if they were true. He could imagine the ninja leaping from rail to rail like some industrial monkey man of sorts. When he was ordered to follow, Luka did just that. He was always up for missions, they gave him something to do. Usually, they even gave him someone to kill. Luka thought back on the recent days and felt very satisfied; he had sent so many to Jashin he could probably take a week long break and lose no favor. But of course he would never do such a thing. He enjoyed the battles far too much. Especially now that he had this wonderful sword. "I will help with whatever needs doing, just tell me. I am a tool for Lord Jashin first, and a tool for Tsukigakure second." He said as he followed Shinji to wherever the hell they'd go.

{Great time for missions, isn't it?}

"The killing is for Lord Jashin. The suffering- well, that's for me."

"By the powers invested in me..."

"For now, all I need you to do is keep up a good face and continue your duty. You're a Jashinist, correct? Amp up your offerings by double if you can. I don't want anyone innocent harmed, but hell, you find a pirate, it doesn't matter how measly or unimposing they are, their fate is death, understood? Your Lord Jashin will be receiving many more souls soon. Above all, we need to maintain that we have control of the situation, and that means wiping out any opposition, even more quickly than possible. If Soragakure thinks we're stronger than usual, as opposed to weaker, then our conditions will obviously be more favorable. Do you follow along?" Shinji asked, standing up after he finished breathing. Now that he was certain his heart rate was normal and he was no longer woozy from losing so much blood, he began to stretch slowly, straightening out both legs and making sure to loosen his muscles up for the work to come. There was yet much killing to be done, and Shinji needed to be ready. He tightened the straps on his armor and sandals, drawing the twin Arakh from their respective sheaths when he finished. The Senju heir cracked his neck experimentally, before deciding he was ready. "Now, the way I see it, there's still quite a few stragglers out there, slower ships, maybe ships that aren't fully manned, you know the deal. Ships full of enemies of Tsukigakure. Ships full of men and women who deliberately harmed the island, and sought to kill it's denizens. You're a bright young lad, I think you know what we do to people like them." Shinji said with a devilish grin, a bloodthirsty expression clear on his face. He ran to a rather flat hunk of beached wood, that laid there in the sands. It was definitely large enough to comfortably house the two of them. "Come on then, Luka. They picked a bad idea, fighting a Senju with a ridiculous water affinity out at sea. For your Lord Jashin!"

The Jaegerbomb stood and watched Shinji prepare himself mentally and physically. It apparently had taken a lot out of him to have done what he did, and his want to fight was admirable. Luka was starting to like this guy. Luka was prepared for another onslaught of battling. Shinji's words served only to reignite the fire that was inside of him. He reached down and kissed the medallion hanging around his neck. Luka bowed his head for a moment and spoke a prayer. "Lord Jashin, your most savage of servants wishes to thank you for everything you have given him. I, Luka Jaeger, am most grateful for the numerous chances you have provided me with to sacrifice to you. Grant me the strength to send more heathens and blasphemers to your great hall once more!" With that he adjusted his underwear and strutted down to the piece of wood Shinji was looking at. Luka had just seen this guy create giant trees that seemed to move as if they were made of water, he could probably make some sort of boat to take them across the water. "I make things explode." Luka said, demonstrating his ability by creating a miniscule explosion from his finger tips. "Get me on a boat and I can destroy it. Get me near a person..." Luka trailed off with a smirk and nodded his head, chuckling at the thought of a meat fountain.

"The killing is for Lord Jashin. The suffering- well, that's for me."

The Black and White ninja ran onto the seaport seaport and quickly went to the Shinobi. "Where is the Kage? What happened here?" He was frantic and was worried about the village. He then asked, "What are we going to do?" He had calmed down and was ready to protect his village.

"By the powers invested in me..."

The Senju heir whistled appreciatively at Luka's ability. Explosions, coupled with the savage taijutsu he had, and his near immortality, would make Luka a viciously powerful opponent to face, especially out at sea, where the footing was unsteady and a slip up would lead to death. He clearly had picked a good partner. "I'll get us in close, you know what to do from there."

Shinji focused, closing his eyes as he kneaded chakra in his stomach, sending it out first to his feet, then to the makeshift surfboard. The wood, now pumped full of his powerful chakra, began to smooth out, curling up at the edges and losing its jagged shape. It was an oval-like shape, pointed at one end, with the edges rising about two inches. Shinji kicked off, a few powerful strokes of his long, lean legs sending the raft into the water. Now, for the easy part. Shinji simply willed the water around him to part, using his chakra to propel the 12-foot long board at high speeds towards the other ships.

"Get ready!" Shinji yelled to Luka, bracing himself and jumping back, his arm swinging out to bring Luka down with him. The two fell to the very back edge of the board, moments before about 8 feet of the board collided with the hull of a ship, tearing through the weaker wood with a screeching whine. Once he was sure that his makeshift dinghy was firmly embedded in the other ship, he stood up, helping his partner up. "Okay, here's the easy part. I want you to swim to the closest ship and do your work. If anyone looks important, restrain them. The average pirate dies. Try not to destroy too many ships, alright? If we get this done quickly and cleanly enough, I can probably link up the ships in a line and we can steer them to the mainland. Untouched ships are worth money, after all. If it's minor damage, with somebody who knows what they're doing, I can probably fix up a ship, but even I'm not able to patch up giant holes from explosions and whatnot."

With that comment, Shinji began to climb up the hull of the ship, his blades secured on his back. There was work to be done, after all.

"I grant you permission to die."

With a frustrated screech and a punch straight up into the air at nothing at all Elizabeth's consciousness returned to her. She was holding Samehada tightly in her other hand and the blade had somehow ended up wrapped up in more bandages than she was. The blade was no longer alive with activity as it had spent it's hearty meal fixing Elizabeth, something she was honestly glad it could do. As to her memory, she was incredibly embarassed that she had lost. She was to her feet in no time using Samehada as a crutch, and then placing it on her back. As the bandages around her body were ripped away she had a few cool looking scars but was otherwise totally 100% again. Okay shark, what's going on. Elizabeth listened fast to the whispers of Samehada and then looked out to the ocean. Luka and Shinji for sure. Close to her was one of her genin, who she turned her attention to. What I need you to do is stay calm and help out with the mending of the village. Start fixing up any damaged buildings around the village and I'll be sure your properly compensated. As she said that she took a pen and some parchment and wrote up an official mission. This would keep him busy and also get him some needed cash money. Her own chakra changed the shape of her chakra and it formed into the shape of a large, demonic krakken. It would sink into the water and as she watched her underlings, unbeknownst to them they would have an insurance policy in place already in case things went south. They weren't too far out and she could see them. Instead of idly stand she walked over to the destroyed landbridge and watched with little shock to see them fixing themselves up stronger and larger than before. He could have just killed us all yet for whatever reason, we're alive. What in hell... wait. her eyes widened suddenly. She stood up and bit her lip. Soragakure was either in danger too, or already down. Nothing good was coming out of this anytime soon. She turned the krakken on one of the floating ships and in a show of frustration large, powerful tentacles grabbed the ship, wrapping around it's mast and hull and crushing it as it pulled it under water. Clear these fools from my waters. They should have killed me while they had the chance! she would order any shinobi close enough to hear and then the krakken would turn on another ship.

She herself walked menacingly towards the other ship with visions of malice in her eyes. Samehada would feast again starting with helpless pirates floating in the water. It took no time at all for the water to be stained red with the blood of the fools who no longer had Kaisen to distract her.

Michael nodded and turned to help with the damaged houses. Fires raged throughout the entire village, he could also hear in his head cries for help from people who were trapped under rubble and other. In his mind he thought, 'Hmm, deal with the fire or the people? Yeah fire is not my thing so, people it is.' Michael then began heading for all the trapped villagers. A while later most of the people had been pulled out, and most of the fires had been put out, it had not been easy, but the Seaport was safe. The next step was to begin rebuilding the houses and shops, so he began. In his mind he wished he could be helping with the fight, but he knew this was important as well. Brick by brick, plank by plank, metal, by metal, the buildings went up, at least partially. He helped carry wood, and as he passed by the people he heard their worry, like would they be ok, were their families alive who lived in other countries, what why was the island attached to bridges, and more. Michael would stop and console them, telling them the Tsukikage would protect them till her last breath, and trying to keep the calm with any villagers in the area. He sent the children and the elderly more inland, while himself and the men and women of the seaport built on avoiding any trouble, at least till trouble came looking for them.

[Genin] [Tsukigakure] [Bakuton] [Jashinist] [Taijutsu]

Luka crossed his arms over his chest and watched as Shinji molded the wood. It was so interesting how he could manipulate it and shape it to his will. It really reminded Luka of his clay ability, one he rarely used. He felt it was too refined of an art to fit his style, but at a time like this it may actually come in handy. Luka reached into the pouches tied to his belt and opened the mouths he normally kept closed, letting them devour a handful of clay each. Afterward he focused on keeping his balance on the board Shinji was manipulating. The speed at which they traveled had brought a smile to Luka's face, though them aiming right for a ship had him preparing to be picking splinters of wood out of him. Luckily Shinji had prepared for this and pulled him backward. Luka accepted the helping hand and rose to his feet, listening to his higher up for his orders.

He frowned at first. Not being able to destroy the ships meant Luka had to adjust his fighting style. This time it would be without the explosions, well at least the big ones. Now was when his clay creations would come in handy. Before he climbed on board Luka opened his hands and touched them to the side of the ship they were on. He released a small army of clay insects, all very small and very mobile. They began to scatter and would look for anyone who was not either Luka or Shinji. Their potency was so small it was a fraction of a standard explosive tag, but together it could easily cause a limb or two to fly off. Now Luka climbed on board, grabbing his executioner's blade and setting to work.

Shinji having rammed the ship with their board had brought enough attention to them, meaning these pirates were ready for Luka. Luckily for him, they had not yet seen the destruction he had caused on the other ships. So they charged at him, brandishing their cute scimitars and little knives. Luka put his left foot forward and leaned as he twisted his body, letting his blade do the rest of the work. The first man to try and block the oversized butterknife found himself without arms to wield anything. The rest of the weapons were knocked clean out of their hands. Luka planted his right foot on the ground to stop himself from spinning and gripped the blade with two hands, angling it upward at a man. He cauht him at the groin and ripped a wound straight up and right through to his jaw, splitting him apart. The blood splattered the blade and Luka both, earning a smile from the Jashinist.

Just as he planned the insects were already planting themselves on people. There were two or three for every man. Luka jumped backward and away from a water whip of a pirate, who was apparently also a ninja. "Lord Jashin will rejoice, though I must delay your deaths for but a moment." Luka grinned devilishly as he raised his hand in a seal, activating his clay bombs. All of the bombs exploded at once, bringing screams of pain forward. Luka laughed and charged forth, using his senses to 'see' through the smoke. He heard the whimpering of a man who lost his right hand and he jumped, delivering a kick powerful enough to smash his head against the rail of the ship. Luka landed and continued his motion, smelling the terrible breath of a man in front of him. He stuck his blade out and first chopped right through his legs. Luka slammed the blade downward and right through his chest.

He grunted as something poked through his stomah, causing him to pause for a moment. The bloody head of a spear was sticking right through him, and someone was busy trying to pull it back out. The flared head would cause some damae on the way back, and Luka really did not feel like having to stop fighting because he was slipping on his own blood. He leaped backward and slammed his body into the man behind him, squishing him between the mast and Luka. He generated an explosion from his shoulder blades, a very small one that only really caused a concussive blast to launch out. Luka heard the guy's head rock against the mast and felt his body go limp. He reached down and yanked out spear before turning and taking a bolt of lightning right to his chest.

In most cases this would have stopped someone's heart, but that was not something that could kill Luka. Instead it made him pause as his body shivered from the electricity. The ninja took the time to run forward and clamp his hands around one of Luka's legs, paralyzing it. Luka looked down at him in annoyance and used his one good leg to lean sideways. Luka used one arm to chop right through his one leg and half of the upper body of his opponent, sating the blood cost to regenerate a new leg. It took a moment, but most of the pirates on this particular ship already had debiliating wounds. Luka wanted to kill the rest of them but realized he should probably just capture them. He holstered his blade and found some rope. Luka set about tying the pirates up, and taking the pants off of one of them. He slipped his legs through them but had to cut the bottoms off as they were too short. Luka walked to the front of the ship and looked around and frowned. A lot of the ships were too far off for him to make it walking or swimming. He was still a genin, and keeping up the constant chakra across that big of a distance didn't sound like something he could do.

Instead, Luka turned to one of the crew on this ship. He picked a guy who lost his left hand and grabbed him by the scruff of his neck. "I want you to make this ship go that way, get me close enough to the other one." The man looked as if he was about to defy Luka, but one threatening look was enough to take care of that. Luka watched as the man took the wheel and spun it about. The wind caught in the sail and they were off.

"The killing is for Lord Jashin. The suffering- well, that's for me."

"By the powers invested in me..."

Shinji climbed aboard his own ship, slipping quietly over the side as everyone had left to examine the gaping hole left by his high-speed makeshift boat ramming into the side, creating a large leak. When he was safely over the edge of the ship's uppermost levels, he simply sauntered over to the wheel, occasionally blocking clumsy swings of scimitars and sabres with two kunai, dealing death as he strolled merrily to his destination.

Leaving a veritable trail of bodies in his wake, Shinji finally arrived to the wheel of the ship, lifting the helmsman by the scruff of his disgustingly dirty vest, no doubt the sole witness to a long career of brutal crime. Shinji made a mental note to dip his hands in a vat of rubbing alcohol later, he couldn't stand this uncleanliness. The Jounin peered over his prey, noticing with some satisfaction that the helmsman was very afraid. Good, that made Shinji's job easier.

Shinji put up one hand signal, activating a Mokuton jutsu, the Cutting Technique. Spears of wood shot out from the wood of the ship, tearing the floor apart and simultaneously sending up the spikes. The entire crew died in moments, as the tendrils of wood pierced through them, before warping back to their previous position, leaving the entire top deck drenched in blood, and in perfect condition.

When the short slaughter was finished, Shinji turned back to the helmsman, who had wet himself profusely and was reduced to tears. Shinji eyed the throbbing, crying mass of flesh with more than a little distaste, his nose crinkling in revulsion from the stench of blood and piss. Instead of pushing him away, Shinji pulled the man closer, digging a kunai into his stomach, twisting the already deadly weapon. As the man's moaning and crying escalated to a scream, Shinji leaned into his ear, whispering to him.

"With your gut pierced, your stomach acids will eat away at your flesh and you will die from the inside out. If you'd like to avoid that fate, you will send up a signal for the ships to surrender. Once that fails, you will lead this ship into the harbor, leaving me on a dinghy. Understood?"

The man simply nodded, obviously in too much pain to respond. Shinji left him for a second, ripping off a cleaner-looking strip of clothing from a dead sailor's chest, and wrapped it around the injured helmsman, not even bothering to make his blood coagulate. Served the damn pirate right.

"Oh, and if the ship slows down or you seem to be slacking in any way, I will make that hole in your chest the least of your concerns, you filthy sea peasant."

Satisfied with the pirate's frantic nodding and hobbling quickly to his post, Shinji laid back, toying with a kunai in one hand, the other clenched tight around the railing of the ship. He was ready to kill.

"I grant you permission to die."

Luka had stuck his biggest blade into the mast just above the crow's nest. He had wound a load of rope around him and was preparing to board the other ship. He had ordered his pirate slave to get as close as possible without ramming the other ship, and had left a clay centipede on the nape of his neck to ensure he followed his orders. They were approaching Luka's target ship fast, causing the crew to try and see what was going on. When it was clear Luka's ship was not going to stop they did everything they could to get out of the way. It was then that Luka's slave began to rapidly turn the wheel, swinging the ship about. The harsh angle provided Luka with a perfect chance to jump, and so he did. He catapulted himself off of the crow's nest, aiming at the pirate who was using a telescope to gaze in the opposite direction. Luka righted himself in the air and stuck his leg out, using it to smash the pirate's head into the mast. The telescope embedded itself in the pirate's eye and cracked when it hit the mast. Luka landed with barely a noise and set to work, only pausing to chuckle at the poor pirate. When he looked down from his vantage point he saw the majority of the crew watching as his ship floated on by. Luka had not exactly been clean with his assault, and there was blood and body parts all over the place.

Luka dove off the top of the ship, casting a shadow down the sail. As he fell the rope begant o unravel, and when it pulled taught Luka began to wrap around the mast. He circled it five times before letting go, slingshotting himself out to the side. He twirled his body at the hips and struck a pirate on the side of his neck, launching him at his buddy next to him and clean off the ship. The moment he landed he was surrounded by the assorted group of ninja and pirates. They began their assault with polearms, pikes, glaives, and spears off all sorts. They jabbed and slashed, but Luka was quick on his feet. He back peddaled and bent, dodging a thrust at his stomach. Luka's flexible body bent backward and he placed his hand on the ground, lifting his legs up. He kicked the spear upward and out of the enemy's hand, planting his other hand on the deck as well. Luka pushed off of the ground and allowed his body to fall on the people behind him. The moment he connected with them he generated an explosion from all over his body, killing most of them instantly. The only problem was he had underestimated the blast radius and blew a hole clean through the deck. Luka found himself on the level below, surrounded by casks of gunpowder, ale, and weapons. This was definitely a tricky situation. One spark and he could sent this whole boat up in flames. Shinji had told him to try and refrain from destroying the ships, and for some reason Luka did not want to disappoint the man.

He jumped upward and grasped the edge of the hole he had created, hoisting himself up with his upper body strength. When he made it onto the deck he found himself facing someone's palm. This was one of the few ninja on board and he had managed to manipulate the water in order to form a ball around Luka. The water closed around him quickly, suspending him inside of it. Luka wanted to shout, but when he went to take in a breath water rushed inside of him instead. That wouldn't be a problem for him, but would mean he would eventually have to visit the medics again. Luka reached one hand out and generated an explosion, creating a small hole in his prison. Before he could capitalize on it the water bonded together once more, trapping him inside. Luka shot a death glare at the man holding him, taking in his smug look. He vowed to Jashin that he would wipe that off that man's face. After a few moments it occured to Luka that they expected him to drown inside of this thing. He formed a plan and turned on the theatrics, reaching for his neck and forcing his face to turn red. He opened his mouth as if to take in air, only to have even more water rushed in. Luka struggled a bit more, clawing at the water to try and escape. After a bit more he let his body go limp and closed his eyes. The man held him in the water prison a bit longer just to be sure, and then let him fall to the ground. The moment the water broke around him Luka shot his hand out, grasping the man's face. "Tell Lord Jashin Luka says hello!" He shouted, exploding the man's head into bits and pieces. He quickly ran forward and grabbed the end of the rope he had wound around the mast and dashed forth.

A sizzling sound alerted Luka to an attack and he back pedaled, narrowly dodging an electrified blade. Luka knew that if he chose to use his own blade to try and defend it would only result in a shock. So when the man attacked again Luka twirled around the attack and circled the man once, wrapping the rope around him. He then applied chakra to his feet and climbed the mast, tucking and tying the rope tightly around itself. Now all he had to do was wait. Once his ship got far enough, the line pulled as tight as it possibly could. The man that had been wrapped up in the rope screamed in pain as the rope began to dig into his skin. Ship ropes could sheer right through a person given enough tension, and the ships were struggling to pull apart. A squelching noise followed by silence let Luka know his plan had succeeded. The rocking motion caused by him tying the masts together threw him forward, but with a quick application of chakra to his feet he managed to not fly off of the ship. It took him a few more moments to dispatch of the rest of the crew, and when he was done he retrieved his blade and ordered his pirate slave to tow the other boat to shore. He climbed to the sails and painted a huge crescent moon in blood, claiming these ships for the glorious Tsukigakure.

When he made it to shore Luka immediately sought medical attention. The sight of him freaked a number of people out because he looked like he had actually drowned. His skin was pale, his lips were blue and he looked water logged. It took a few moments of pumping water out of him and cellular regeneration for him to be back to normal.

Shinji Senju - Tsukigakure's Forest Guardian
Tsukigakure Jounin
Mokuton - Wood Release

User Image
"By the powers invested in me..."

The Mokuton user watched impassively as his one lone ship faced against the multitude of others, calling for a surrender. Surprisingly enough, two or three ships did actually surrender, no doubt scared witless by his Kage's show of power and sheer destructive capabilities. Shinji chuckled darkly to himself. Perhaps a few of these surrendered pirates might even live, he thought. The young man looked over at his hostage, nodding to him to sail close to the surrendered ships.

It took a few minutes to get there, but once Shinji had made it close enough to the three surrendered ships, he simply held a half-ram seal, willing the wood of the ships to meld together, fusing all four ships together in a vaguely diamond-like shape.
"Alright, you sorry excuses for flesh-bags, get sailing. You'll go to the harbor, get off the ships, and beg for forgiveness and mercy from the Tsukikage. If you tell her you surrendered willingly and are willing to face justice she might let a few of you sorry lot live to see another day. I'm taking a dinghy, and so help me, if any of you even think of disobeying me, I will personally make sure these ships become your graves. Am I understood?" He said in a sibilant tone, practically hissing out his displeasure at the situation. The assorted crews, probably 160 or so men in total, seemed to nod as one collective, gulping in unison at the demise they could face if they crossed the clearly pissed-off man in front of them.

Shinji simply chuckled to himself again, going below-deck to gather a twenty-five meter length of rope and a cast-iron grappling hook, winding about five meters of it around the foot-thick mast of his small boat. Once the man lowered his tiny vessel out onto the open water, he picked up the other end of the sturdy cord, looping it through the heavy hook, watching his hands so he didn't slice himself apart on the jagged, blackened barbs on all three sides of the brutal tool.

Shinji simply rowed himself out for a few more minutes, focusing on catching his breath. The other ships would be following his diamond-shaped conglomerate at the moment, and he had slipped out the opposite direction, so it would be a bit longer before they noticed him, perfect for his plans. Once the dark-haired man got closer to a specific ship, he began to swing the grappling hook around his head in a wide, but tightly controlled arc, eventually building up speed and letting the heavy instrument loose. It sailed through the air, propelled by the centrifugal force of his frantic spinning, eventually latching firmly onto the railing of a rather unoccupied section of the ship. Capitalizing on his momentary advantage of surprise, Shinji climbed hand over hand, ascending the rope silently until he managed to get to the top of the railing. He hid on the side, his fingertips barely visible, and his body only visible if one were to peek over the edge of the ship, directly down at him. Sneaking a quick peek to make sure nobody was looking at the rather cornered part the ship, Shinji swung his legs over, detaching the hook and instead tying another five meters of the rope around the railing, securing it firmly in place. Now, with the heavy grappling hook in one hand, Shinji stalked the crew silently, coming behind one member and brutally grabbing him around the neck, squeezing the man's neck between his bicep and forearm, and braining him with the hard blunt end of the grappling hook. The man's head was caved in, and another brutal strike to the temple finished the job. Shinji dragged him over to a corner, hiding the body underneath a bundle of ropes. It seemed the crew was almost all below-deck, probably manning the longer-range weapons in an attempt to fight off the two savage opponents brutalizing their fleet. There were three crew members on the top deck that Shinji could see. One with his back towards Shinji, and the other two working together to fuse ends of rope together. They were farther away, and of less risk of spotting him. Shinji crept along the ship's deck, his feet making barely any sound. When he was just barely behind the crewman, he swung his grappling hook in a huge overhand arc, crashing the barbed ends down on the man's face, killing him instantly. Shinji caught the falling body with one hand, setting him down as quietly as he could. Reinforcing his leg muscles with a bit of chakra, Shinji lept, rising higher and higher into the sky, coming down on the two men fusing the rope, landing between the two and spinning in a counter-clockwise direction. Shinji's left elbow met one man's nose, and his right fist met the other man's solar plexus, blinding one and driving the wind out of the other. Not wasting any time, Shinji grabbed the blinded man by the head, crushing his windpipe with a strategically placed knife-hand strike, and spinning to meet the other, who had by now whipped out a knife. Shinji's right arm shot down, elbow first as his right knee shot up, literally catching the knife between elbow and knee, before pulling his body to the right, taking the man off balance. As he did so, Shinji twisted his body slightly to force the knife out of the man's hand, crouching as he did so to dodge a swinging right hook. Shinji's right foot hit the ground and he used it to jump up, expanding his entire body in a vicious roundhouse kick to the man's throat, also crushing his windpipe. The Mokuton user picked up the knife, using it to slit both their carotid arteries to finish his work. They would bleed out soon enough, and they definitely couldn't breathe either.

The veteran Jounin simply walked downstairs to the lower deck of the ship, whistling a jaunty tune. The assembled crew, probably 55 men or so, looked at him incredulously before attacking with assorted battle cries and their puny little scimitars and spears. Shinji just pirouetted on the ball of his left foot, lashing out with a kick from his right to knock back the first man, before two took his place. This time, Shinji ducked underneath a high left hook, sweeping out one man's leg and using the previously killed pirate's knife to slice open the throat of his second opponent. As the man fell in a spray of blood, Shinji ducked again, this time driving his borrowed knife into the chest of the swept man. The Mokuton user didn't bother to pull it out, instead drawing his twin Arakh for the first time in a fight that day.

Shinji fell into a familiar stance, with one Arakh raised above his head and pointed down, the other at hip level and pointed up. He engaged the crew of 52 men in a deadly dance, his lithe frame moving around them like water around rocks, nicking open throats, hamstrings, calves, biceps, ankles, whatever was offered to him. At one point he sliced out a man's entire eye with a scooping motion, flinging the bloody mess at another man to disorient him, before Shinji knocked the wind out of him with the hilt of his swords and chopped open his chest. A high swing of a hammer almost hit him, forcing the Jounin to plant his sword down into the wood of the floor as he ducked underneath it, pulling it free and pointing it up as the wielder of the hammer literally pierced himself on it in his stumbling rage. Shinji was in his element, butchering the crew. In his haste, he almost missed the telltale sign of two ninja on board. They probably weren't even real genin level, rather pirates who had learned chakra exercises at some point. The two teamed together, one using Manipulating Attack Blades to levitate a large number of weapons, all aimed straight at Shinji. The second pulled out a scroll, running his hand across it to summon yet more weapons. Shinji smirked, facing the collision of hundreds of weapons head on, using his blades to push past certain weapons and simply dodging others. However, the Jounin was in for a surprise, as the second of the two used tiny chakra strings on ten of the weapons, all swords, to attack Shinji from behind. At the very last second, Shinji noticed, sending out a shuriken that embedded itself firmly in the weapon puppeteer's skull, disrupting his control. However, the weapons still had the momentum behind them and sped towards both Shinji and the first of the ninja. The Mokuton user jumped, ducking into a roll and sweeping out the legs of his opponent. As the swords shot towards him, Shinji grabbed the body of the living ninja, using him as a meat-shield. Six swords sliced cleanly into him, three missing, and one going through the body entirely, and stabbing into Shinji. It wasn't a deep cut by any means, just a scratch into his upper thigh, but it surely hurt like hell. Grimacing and cursing rather loudly, Shinji ripped a piece of cloth off of the dead man, wrapping it tightly around his wound. It was minor, and he couldn't waste chakra at this time. The lone ninja wandered around the lower deck of the ship, grabbing any documents he could find and sealing them away, to bring to his Kage. This ship seemed quite a bit bigger than the others, obviously manned more heavily than any other ship, and so, Shinji assumed that besides the one that the Uchiha was personally on, this ship acted as the flagship of the fleet.

Even though the fight was rather loud, Shinji was a bit alarmed to find that nobody had reacted. There was surely more than 60 men on this behemoth of a ship, even with all the fighting going on. The Mokuton user wandered around for a few more minutes, finding nothing. It was eery, Shinji was sure he had seen hundreds of men manning the ship. Eventually the Jounin wandered down to the third of the four levels on the ship, being greeted with the sight of probably a hundred or more slaves chained to various posts. They were filthy, malnourished and underfed, some appearing more dead than alive. The place was filthy, reeking of the stench of humans and decay, and Shinji simply went around, clipping chains left and right to free them. Without a word, he left, kicking open the door to the final level of the ship.

Shinji saw where the rest of the men were. On the lowest of the four decks, in the midst of a few chests of money and valuables, was the captain and ten men, clearly rather frightened to be there. The Jounin walked silently to them, dropping his Arakh as he did so, cracking his neck in anticipation.
"You ten, you might live. Get out of the way." The guards, already fidgety and nervous, did so, parting like wheat before a scythe. The captain, by now a blubbering, crying mess, began to beg for his life, offering gold, slaves, his ships, anything to let him live. Shinji simply chuckled to himself. "I don't think you understand, mongrel. I'm going to take all of that anyways. Your death just makes it more enjoyable." And with that final comment, Shinji reared one fist back, bringing it crashing down on the fat captain's chest, grabbing him by the scruff of the neck to reel him back in. A rather brutal trouncing occurred for the next fifteen or so minutes, until the captain was left a sad, vaguely human-shaped mass of blood and broken bone on the ground. Shinji's hands, face, and armor were quite literally soaked in blood by this time, both from the battle before, and from the barehanded beating that he gave to the captain. Turning to the guard of the captain, Shinji simply spit on the ground, walking away.

As he reached the top floor, he was greeted by the sight of the hundred or so slaves celebrating atop the deck. Shinji himself went to the mast, raising a white flag. Before he did so, he dragged up the obese body of the dead captain, drove a spear through his chest, nailing him to the flag, and raised up the flag, showing the other remaining ten ships or so the cost of not surrendering. The effect was almost instantaneous, with all but one of the ships raising up a white flag as well, and beginning to sail into the harbor. The final ship was bombarded with weapons from the other nine, reducing it to splinters before Shinji's eyes. Nodding in approval, Shinji stood, a lone, blood-splattered figure guiding a fleet of ten ships, fifteen if one counted the previous five he had 'persuaded', towards the harbor of Tsukigakure.

In twenty or so minutes, all fifteen ships were there, docked and ready to be raided for valuables. The slaves were led to various hospitals, and Shinji sought out Luka and Elizabeth, to report his rather bloody success.
"You look like hell," he commented to the both of them, a massive s**t-eating grin on his face as he idly wiped some of the gore off of his face with a now-useless towel.

"I grant you permission to die."

(Okay, time lapsy post inbound but bare with me. It'll be cool yo.)

Elizabeth was a very different girl now than she was before Kaisen handed her her a** on a silver platter. She was no longer one who weildd shadows. She had been to the otherside, leaving her body behind as death embraced her. But just as she began to let go a spark of hope ignited in her. She knew not how it happen, just that it had and now, she was more ready than ever to get back at the bastards that had harmed her village. There was one ship that had nearly escaped. Nearly...

A man on a crow's nest spotted it and before anyone could mobilize something could be seen tearing it's way across the top of the water, raising walls of h2o around her as she took light quick steps. It radiated a purple color from it's body as it rammed the side of the ship. This Man'o'War seemed like nothing as it was nearly topped over by the impact. As the sailors tried to figure out what was going on a head, seperated from the body that was beside it, fell from the mast. There she could be see, wearing hospital scrubs still and holding a katana in one hand, her Masamune, and a shield in the other. She fell from the mast and as she landed men gathered to surround her. The side to side rocking of the ship gave her an edge. The men were used to it, but not to such a huge degree. The balance factor was not on their side. She rushed forward and shield bashed the first man she saw. He went barreling backwards and the men around him were pushed away as well. In a swift and fluid motion she turned into a slash on her left side, turning the attack into a glancing blow and then stabbing the man from behind the shield. She then quickly removed her blade and put the shield over her back, leaning forward in a sort of dance that stopped another attack. A leg was lopped clean off and then Elizabeth rose to a standing position, taking a step back and positioning her sword over the shield and puffing out smoke from her nose as a challenge. From this position she was rather safe from attack and able to charge at any moment.

In the next moment she was blocking a flurry of strikes from a man using two blades who seemed rather skilled. She managed to get the shield into his arm, blocking a strike from the left and then bringing her blade up to defend against his other hand. With her strength she simply pushed him off his feet and then delivered a Rim shot to the head of another ninja. Onlookers began to recognize her even from the shore. She was a literal terror to be fighting, no one knew she could weild a shield so well, so it had shock value on top of it's raw skillful execution. Eventually, however, she tossed the cheap and battered buckler to the side and sheathed Masamune. She bit her thumb and performed a set of seals. She leaped back and slapped the helm of the ship. Syn! she called out as smoke came out of nowhere and a band of ghastly looking skeletons, each with an instrument, looked at her. She nodded and immediately they began playing her favorite tune. She reached back to her shoulder and as the song began to pick up she became the blur of motion she was at one time. She seemed to be dancing masterfully as she lopped limbs off of her enemies and ended their lives. As the radioactive combo of her music and the screams of her enemies combined into the worlds best kind of violent scene, she did a handseal and a charge of lightning crawled up her blade and she stabbed a trail of rum with it. She hopped off the ship as Syn played the last minute of the song with an evil laugh as the ship exploded and began to sink. Elizabeth walked along the water's surface and noticed something was swimming along behind her. Good boy Same! she told the blade turning to snatch the blade, which had leaped at her, out of the sky and continuing to walk to the shore. She looked Shinji in the eye and gave him an approving nod and warming smile.

Status report, The woman said as she began taking off the top of her scrubs to reveal a blood bra and scars from her recently fixed body. She rolled her neck and began popping all the joints on her body as she examined the state of the village and the new landbridges. She could barely remember much after Kaisen KO'd her, but this was one of those things.

[Post so crappy I need to get back into the swing of things x.x]
[11.6k word count in total shinji for joint mission, thats a 5800 ryp bonus]
Luka had been occupying himself by scraping the dried blood from his body. He had been waiting for Shinji to arrive, and when he did Luka couldn't help but smile and nod his head in awe and respect. He had captured two vessels himself, but Shinji just came back with like ten. So this was the power of a Jounin? Luka smirked at Shinji when he spoke to him. "No Shinji, I look like glory." He said, pressing his hand to the inverted triangle on his chest. Jashin had favored him in battle and once more Luka had proven his worth. He would live to fight another day, and most importantly he would live to sacrifice again. Luka planted his blade into the ground and leaned on it, turning only when Elizabeth approached. Luka could not help but smile devilishly at her. She had lost her battle, proving she indeed was not the strongest around. That meant a great deal to Luka. Regardless, he bowed her head when she spoke and paid careful attention to her as she began to look around. As scary as she could be to Luka he enjoyed the very sight of her and did not look away. "Under Shinji's command I was able to destroy a number of ships, and even captured two myself. There were a few captives, but I sent most off to greet my Lord Jashin." He said with a certain air of happiness about him. Even though he was tired and filthy this was how Luka liked it to be. He had fought diligently and scored for his village. There was no way Elizabeth could be angry at the number of people he had killed.

"The killing is for Lord Jashin. The suffering- well, that's for me."

The Prophet Wei

Before anything else could happen, a piercing screech from a falcon would be heard throughout the area. The majestic as ******** bird began descend slowly in circles. It closed its wings and dove down, aiming for Elizabeth. Before impact it opened its wings and landed on a nearby conveniently placed piece of driftwood. As the falcon began to clean its feathers, it lifted its wings to reveal the letter tied to its leg. It was marked with a seal that read: Tsukikage. Inside it would read:

Greetings Lady Tsukikage,

I have heard of your recent troubles in your village and I am terribly sorry it was caused by a former Soragakure Shinobi. We have renounced any association with Kaisen Uchiha. I do not know if you have heard news of Soragakure, but we are in no better shape. A recent attack by one of the sages, Kaiser Shiro-Kame, has removed Soragakure from the sky. I was able to discern that these events are indeed linked and not some sort of cosmic coincidence. We could barely hold off the assault on our own and there is no way either of us could stand up against a joint assault from the sages. I do not know why they are doing this, but I intend to put a stop to it.

I am requesting that you meet me in the disclosed location to discuss the terms of a temporary alliance. We need to stand together, or I fear that there will be nothing left of the shinobi world. I will be bringing a single companion along with me.

I hope you agree and meet me there. I will set out as soon as possible.

- Saiyuri Mayu, Sorakage.
