"That means we just have to keep a close watch on everyone we tell. That way nobody can backstab us." Said Jacknife as the jeep rolled over another dune. And thats not all I see, one of you here dining, one of my twelve chosen, will leave to betray me! Sang Kevin Muth as Jesus on the radio.

"Turn that crap off," Flare complained, gesturing to the radio.

"Whatever," Flare said, obviously not interested in commenting any more.

"Let's just try to find clues to get petals. We can argue about what to do with them later. And we can decide on whether to trust people as we come across them. But sitting here arguing isn't getting anything done."
And that was all he had to say, as he pulled out an mp3player and some headphones, soon blasting his ears with the blessed sound of old-school Metallica.

Jacknife grinned as his eyes flashed purple and the radio clicked off. "If you dont want to listen to it then you dont have to. Where are we heading, this beach seems pretty deserted right now."

"Like he said," Flare leaned over towards Nascen. "Drive this thing somewhere already."

((And off for the night.))
"You heard the boss. Les' go, Jacknife. Take us into the inland so we can check out the place out." he says, leaning forward to pat Jacknife's shoulder in the drivers seat.
Nascen who was now seated back squeezed between Allen, Psyche, Flare, and Masayu, leaned toward Flare as she leaned toward him, until the tip of his nose was not far from hers, flashing a slightly suggestive smile, and then ruining it all with a flamboyantly non-sexually suggestive wink of his one eye, laughing as he settled back into his spot and shook his head lightly. "I just said 'go', didn't I? Take it away, Mr. Jacknife."

Jacknife gunned the engine and the Jeep sped off towards the road. They took the road into the inland area of Gambino Island. "We'll eventually find something, with the nature of this 'game' its just a matter of time..." ((I'm off too.))

Irzael, now out of the arena and back in his old attire, had done enough idling. "Where to now," he mumbled, "I guess I have to go back to...Gambino I think it was called." He looked around and found Geylkre, "Let's go back. I need to get those petals and it seems the only way to do that is to cause chaos myself."
"Don't you think that may be going overboard?" the roc asked as it lifted off the ground.
Irzael closed his eyes and enjoyed the feel of the wind against his face, "That may be so, but it may also be the best way to accomplish my task." The two then flew back south towards the ferry dock.

((Collab post with Owle. Because I found an IC reason for turning her into a katamari.
By the way, am I right in assuming we're heading to the shopping district?))
Flare merely smirked, and brought her right hand up to where Nascen's face was. It was glowing dangerously...he could feel the heat coming off of it.
Fortunately, he wasn't so much of a fool, and Flare let it go as a stray, amusing thought settled upon her. Yes, it might put Owle into the line of fire...but at the same time, it would keep her out of the wrong sort of trouble. Most likely. In any case, Rage would be with her, so what was the problem? It would suit most of Flare's purposes...
"We don't want other people to find the petals before us, yes? And we can assume that the other players will be following reports of chaos, yes?"
She closed her eyes for a moment, focusing on the bond between herself and Owle.
How durable are those scales of yours?
Um...very. Flare, listen, something really freaky happened and... Owle gushed, letting the feelings, the memories flow into Flare. The feeling of the blood all over her, the way Rafe had just lost it for a moment, and even just a hint of what it had felt like to be held by him, to be cradled in his arms when she was dressed in nothing but her undergarments.
Flare tried to pay no attention to the last bit of what Owle sent her. No matter how much Owle might think that was something to share, Flare didn't want to feel it. It's alright, Owle. It's over now. The blood never was on you, and never again will be. Now, I need you to do something for me...
Owle listened incredulously to Flare's plan. No way. You've been playing that game again, haven't you?
I don't know what you're talking about, Flare sent, feigning innocence. But, listen. The other petal seekers will be looking for signs of chaos. What could be more chaotic? What better to attract their attention away from where the true petals lie? She smirked, knowing exactly how Owle would react to what she would say next. Well, I suppose I could burn down another church...
Alright alright! I'll do it!
Music to Flare's ears.
But...who's going to be doing the rolling?
Rage, Flare answered succinctly. It's your job to talk him into it.
Wonderful... Owle grumbled.
Then Flare cut the transmission off, and leaned back in her chair and opened her eyes. "If you have other allies, tell them to ignore any reports of a large armadillo being rolled through the streets."

Gregory moved down the beach, the wind that sustained his speed picking up sand and carrying it along behind him. Finding a nice spot and still grinning from ear to ear, he began shedding clothes as he moved for the water, ending up in nothing but a pair of swimming trunks as he made a horizontal dive through a wave. (While trunks might chafe a bit to wear all the time, his training had taught him that it was nothing compared to the discomfort of being stuck wearing soggy underwear, so he never took them off).) He burst into a delighted laugh, bobbing in the water.

Gregory felt like he could play in the ocean forever... but there would be time for that after the "chaos" was over. He left the waters and dried in the sun for a bit, considering his next move. He decided to return to the ferry once he was dry enough to put his clothes back on.
