 Olivia CyprusOlivia smiled at the girl named Aurora and gave the other girl's hand a hardy shake. "Nice ta meet cha! I'm Olivia Cyprus." Olivia caught Noir just as she was about to slide down her arm again, and held the Snivy in her arms. "This is Noir, and my aunt lent me her Arcanine for the day, his name's Archie." The white haired girl patted the pokéball attached to her hip. She smiled when the two said that they would like to join her for lunch and train with her in the forest afterwards."Great!" Olivia commented, walking towards the door. "I know a lovely little café on the mainstreet in town. We can ride my aunt's Arcanine over there." Olivia lead the way outside of the building and tossed the pokéball that held Archie in it into the air while she called out his name. "Ready to go get some food, bud?" Olivia asked him while she scratched him behind his ears. The Arcanine gave a delighted yelp and the Snivy hissed, hanging onto Olivia's back so she could have her mistress between her and the huge fire dog. "Oh, come on, Noir! He's friendly."Olivia jumped onto Archie's back and motioned for Roko and Aurora to do the same. "Don't worry, he's friendly!" Olivia reassured them, patting Archie's huge neck.Noir

Kyte smiled at the new addition to Elena's team. From what she remembered it was called a Poochyena. She could only hope she was right on the dot in all honesty. Eifie looked so happy now that she had been reunited with Bentley, the two rolling around in happiness. Eifie in fact was almost playfully tackling her best friend, showing Bentley that she had, as well, gotten stronger. "I almost forgot I had to drop off a parcel from my dad. I swear, he's just to lazy to fly to Pallet on his own time." She smirked and looked over at the blind-folded male.
From the way he spoke and walked, she figured out that he was blind. However, he seemed very kind and she found him to be a good traveling partner with her and Elena. Moving forward, she picked up Eifie, whom pouted but then happily yipped and walked over to Hunter. "Hope you don't mind if I tag along. The name's Kyte." Eifie yipped, looking intently at the Arcanine that seemed to faithfully stay at Hunter's side. She jumped forward, somehow running into the Poochyena and rolling into Arcanine's leg as a result. Kyte giggled and looked back at Elena.
"And you said you wouldn't battle." Kyte teased, poking her friend's cheek playfully. "I go missing for no more than twenty minutes and you fight without me." She playfully pouted. "I'm bummed."

Turning to face the blind male whom she had just recently encountered, she was stunned to see him battling. That was something that she hadn't expected to see but here he was, handling it like any other trainer. Maybe he wasn't so different. He was up against a pokemon that she didn't recognize but her pokedex went off, beeping to alert her of a new entry. All it gave was the name and the image, and she raised a brow before looking to the creature again. Of course, Hunter had caught it but he had no idea what he had caught, and it seemed she was in charge of telling him. "Well, according to my pokedex, it's name is Joltik." She explained, looking to the riled up creature. Oh, it didn't look happy at all. "Feisty little fella, too! He looks like he's about to light someone up!" She mused, soon looking back to Kyte.
"I don't know about you two but I really need to heal Bentley and Hachiko before a trainer comes along and decides to try and battle me. Neither of them are in the shape for that. Plus, I had a small breakfast. I think there's a park in Viridian City that we can go to, let our pokemon all get acquainted with each other while we eat, yeah?" She offered, smiling to both of them. Of course her and Kyte's pokemon knew each other well but what about Hunter? She didn't want to leave him out.

Hunter tilted his head. "I had a feeling there was someone else around here. Nice to meet you Kyte, I'm Hunter." He smiled, nodding politely to her as he heard Elena's pokedex give him an description on the pokemon he had caught. "A Joltik... hmmm... that's an electric pokemon right?" he asked, smiling as he knelt down. "Feisty, huh? I like that in a pokemon." he smiled, hearing Blaze whimper behind him. "What's the matter Blaze?" he asked, the fire pokemon trying to scurry away from the oncoming Joltik. Feeling the pokemon crawl up his arm, Hunter giggled. "Aww, that tickles!" he giggled, feeling it crawl onto his back. His giggling suddenly ceased as his body went rigid, zaps of electricity running through his body as the Joltik dug in and let loose a devastating Thunderbolt attack. "N-NNGH...!! S-SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING...!! TRENT, GET IT OFF ME...!!" He growled out, his body twitching. "M-MAKE IT STOP...!!"Trent stayed where he was, hidden behind Blaze as he watched the Joltik shock his master in fear. He wasn't about to get zapped, and he didn't want to tackle his master and end up hurting him worse. And Blaze couldn't attack with a fire attack, or else Hunter would get burned. Slowly reaching backwards, Hunter found Joltik's body and grabbed him, the electric shocks increasing. "P-please... stop... Joltik...!! I-I k-know you're... angry...!! B-But that really hurts...!!" He groaned out, falling forward on his face, unable to stay upright anymore. Joltik soon stopped his attack, calmly waddling off Hunter's back and crawling over to his pokeball, crawling onto it and tapping the button on the front, returning to his pokeball. trent only moved after the Joltik was gone, jumping off Blaze's head and running to his master, gently poking him and shaking him. "T-Treecko..." he whimpered, whapping his back with a hand lightly

Kyte blinked and nodded, knowing their group would be just fine. Eifie ran back to her side, somehow gripping her leg as if she were asking to be picked up. "Alley oop." She muttered, picking up the Eevee that then snuggled into her arms. "And yet I bet that hot head is planning to battle me again." She smirked, leaning back against the trunk of a nearby tree. "He has no chance of ever beating me. He doesn't even know the basics of pokemon, let alone battling." Of course she was itching for that next fight. Always would she be willing to put him in his place.
"That sou---" She was cut off as a wave of electricity surged through the air. Her head whipped around to see Hunter's newly caught Joltik angrily shocking him. She reached a hand out in surprise, Eifie tucking back into her other arm. And then it was over and Hunter was on the ground and Joltik had returned itself to its poke ball. "Joltiks are the friendliest of pokemon at first." She spoke up, leaning down to pick up the poke ball for him. "I'll help you here," She spoke tucking the poke ball away in a separate pocket as she moved over and knelled down, slinging one of his arms across her shoulders.
"If you can at least stumble, I'll do the walking for us." She softly whispered, hoping he would take her up on her offer. After all, shocks like that did tend to do a number on the body. He needed somewhere to just sit down and rest without getting a face full of dirt. She looked back at the Treecko and smiled. "Your master will be all right. He just needs time to bounce back from that." Pokemon were well known to worry about the ones that were with. It happened all the time. Eifie in the mean time moved so she was a few feet in front of Kyte, happy to sit and wait until they moved.

"Oh yeah... friendliest thing in the world...!" He snorted, heading over to the bench and plopping down. "That was NOT friendly. That thing was pissed before, and after I caught it. Something must've set it off." Hunter spoke softly, tilting his head to Trent who wrung at his twig anxiously.
"Perhaps it was frightened by the new trainers, and when it saw that I wanted to catch it, it went nuts." He said, wincing. "But goddamn... who knew a tiny little thing like that could do that?! And I only know they're tiny from the lessons my brother has taught me." He winced, Trent climbing up to his shoulder and hugging his head. "Trent, think I should talk to the little guy?" He asked, earning a reply instantly as Trent jumped down and held out his hands for the pokeball. As he received it, he pressed the button with a sticky paw, the Joltik popping out once more. Blaze was a bit more brave this time around, and stood in front of Hunter to protect him if there so happened to be a round two.
"H-Hiya Joltik..." Hunter offered, the small spider pokemon scuttling around to face him. "Now look, I know you're scared 'cause of all the trainers around here, but you don't have to be afraid anymore, 'cause you're in good hands now." He smiled softly. Joltik's fur bristled with electricity as he weighed his options. Commanding Blaze to move, the blind male slowly knelt down with some difficulty, still in pain from the last zapping and placed his hand on the ground. "I'm not going to hurt you, and neither are my friends here... and as long as you trust me, I know we can make this work. So, what do you say little guy?"
Staring at Hunter, the Joltik twitched his legs a little, unsure of what to do. But finally, he started to make his way towards Hunter, slowly climbing into his hand. Hunter smiled as he felt the pokemon's fur against his skin, lifting his hand up and grinning. "Thank you Joltik, I know what I'm going to name you now! Your new name is Richter, how does that sound to you?" He smiled, jumping as the Joltik suddenly spat a web at his face.
"Ugh... I hope that was out of happiness for your new name..." He groaned, Richter laughing in his hand and scuttling around in a circle. "Would you like to meet my friends here?" He asked as he tried picking off the sticky web from his face and hair, the little spider wiggling his front legs and nodding. "Alright! The girl with the Eevee is Kyte, right? And the girl with the Chikorita is Elena, I believe. Geez, I hope I got that right..." he mumbled, tilting his head to his shoulder where Richter sat. "You'll have to tell me if they're pretty or not, I'd know myself, but I can't see." he explained. Richter blinked at his master, seeing his eyes, then glanced to the two females, looking them over.
"Jooooltik! Joltik!" he cheered, giving them both approvals as he jumped up and down on his perch, almost falling off, but able to pull himself up again. Hunter giggled.
"Glad to know you approve there buddy. I must be lucky to have two beautiful women to travel with." He laughed, blushing a bit. "So, Elena wants to go to Viridian City, I'm game with that. It'd be a great place to get a bond going with our new pokemon." He spoke, hearing Richter chatter in his hand as he scuttled up to his shoulder, waving his front legs around. "And now that Richter got a good greeting shocking into me, I think he won't have such a temper anymore." He spoke. "At least I hope he won't..." He added nervously.

A L L E R E N xxxA sob story, it wasn't what he had wanted, as Alleren was set on the idea that she had escaped from some looney bin. Of course, it was something else, or maybe she was convinced that she had an older brother? Childish insults hit his ears and he rose a brow at her as if to ask "is this the best you've got?" "Yup, I've heard those ones before." He snorted, starting to walk away until he felt her hit him. Not that it hurt, but he was stunned that she was acting so childishly, daring to hit him. Both of his pokemon watched with interest, neither of them making a move to protect the sandy haired boy. It wasn't in him to hit a girl, despite his normal behavior and Alleren struggled to gently grasp Purin's wrists, holding them away.
"Hey! No! Stop! Stop hitting me, dammit!" He hissed out, struggling to hold her still. Oh, man, this would look so wrong if the wrong person were to stroll by and see him holding her, and her seeming to struggle. But it wasn't like that, there was no way Alleren would stoop so low, she looked like a fourth grader! Releasing her, Alleren did his best to keep her away, even resorting to holding up Boy, his Charmander in front of her. "Okay! I'm sorry for being mean! Hey, stop! You're hitting a little Charmander who did nothing to you!" Using what he could to stop her would hopefully work, her hitting him was getting on his nerves, it was something that he didn't enjoy. She was in no state to be outside, or even wandering around if she didn't know who was who.
Part of him felt sorry for the girl but another part thought her foolish. "Look, I won't do it again. I don't know if I physically harmed you or what, but there, I apologized. Now stop trying to hurt me! Especially before I have to stop you and someone walks by and gets the wrong idea because I am not into little kids!" It was apparent that Alleren wasn't used to giving apologies, especially with the way it seemed to bring on more rude things. Hopefully she wouldn't realize what he had just said, and he kept holding Boy between them, the poor Charmander looking to Purin in hopes that she wouldn't hit him in an attempt to get to the boy.

Standing aside as Kyte took over taking care of Hunter, she smiled and cleared off a near by bench for him. Whatever it had on it, she didn't know but her and Bentley managed to clean it off. Hachiko was lazily following the group around, just wanting to rest though Elena wasn't going to allow that until after they ate. "So, when you two are ready, we can go." She told the other two, soon picking up her tired out Poochyena. Hunter was ready to go but what about Kyte? Would she want to train more? Bentley gave a loud whine of protest as he noticed that the green haired girl was infact holding another pokemon that wasn't him. Standing against her legs, he lightly head-butted her and gave another whine until she picked him up. Holding the two pokemon, Elena gave her friends a grin, waiting to see what both of them had to say.

By this point it was about time for lunch, just in time too as Jace could feel his stomach turn in emptiness. He sighed and sat down on on of the few chairs the visitor center had, placing the bag his sister gave him next to him. He was grateful that his sister was kind enough to give him a bag with a general starter kit. It included enough money to support him for a few days, 5 pokeballs, 2 potions, a revive, and even a packed lunch! Smiling when Jace saw the packed lunch, he pulled it out. It seemed that it was two parts as there were two bags. Upon further inspection, Jace saw that one bag was for him and the other was intended for a pokemon. How thoughtful of her!
XXXXX Jace released Isac out of his pokeball and smiled towards him. The squirtle rubbed its face and flicked its tail before looking up to Jace in inquisition. "Hi Isac. Would you like some lunch with me?" Jace asked his squirtle. He didn't want to feed it if it wasn't actually hungry. Though, when Isac ran up to him trying to get to the food in the bag Jace took it as a yes. Laughing lightly, Jace took out the food and began to feed it to him. Then Jace pulled some food out of the other bag and began to eat. Though, there was a small envelope in the bottom. Picking it up, Jace opened it. It was a letter from his sister! "Hey Jace, I got a few of these a couple days ago. I don't really need them so how about I give you a few? These are Rare candies! If you feed them to a Pokemon it makes them stronger! Maybe you should try them! I love you, Amy." The note said.
XXXXX Jace blinked and looked in the envelope to, sure enough, see two small blue striped candies. He took one out and looked at it. He put it back in the envelope as he finished his lunch and watched Isac finish his. When Isac finished he picked up the bowl and set it on Jace's lap. Jace was genuinely surprised at how mild tempered and well-behaved the young pokemon was. "Thank you Isac. Here I have some dessert for you!" He said patting Isac's head and putting the food dish away. Jace pulled the two candies out of the bag and showed them to Isac who seemed quite interested in them. Jace handed the candies to Isac and watched the excited squirtle eat them happily.

With: Aurora, Olivia  Roko would nod as he followed Olivia out of the office and on to the first road within the city. Mudkip had only just started to wake up once the sun was on him again. Yawning, Roko couldn't help but smile down on the tiny water pokemon. In a flash though his attention was back in front of him as a flash of light from a pokeball started to take shape.He'd heard her say something about the Cafe that they'd be eating at, but he'd assumed they'd simply be walking there, not riding a pokemon. Now in front of them was a massive Arcanine, and while he'd seen them before, Blane had told him that on the mainland the breed didn't get as big; Something about the food and temperature. Still though this fire dog was huge and more than able to carry the tree of them.
"Don't worry, he's friendly!" Olivia would call back as she motioned for the two trainers to hop on. Smirking at how friendly and yet confident the Olivia was the male set his Mudkip down and pulled out his pokeball.
"Sorry bud, I know you just woke up, but I promise it'll only be fore a moment then we'll eat something delicious." Roko would say as he returned Mudkip to his pokeball and walking over to Arcanine. in all honesty, he'd never rode on a Arcanine before despite being from Cinnabar; plenty of Ponyta though and he figure it couldn't be much different. Hopping up on the the fire dogs back, Roko grip his fur and scooted up just enough so that Aurora would have plenty of room, but not be huddled up on top of Olivia. "Okay I'm all set!" He said with excitement since he knew from watching that know matter what you said Arcanine's had a habit of going fast no matter the distance.

Essa had been traveling for quite some time, she wasn't the best when it came to directions and having to travel from one region to the next was no easy task when you didn't have any Pokemon of your own. Originally from Goldenrod City, Essa's family had moved to Lavaridge Town because of her brothers health. They had heard that the hot springs there had healing properties. The move form the big city had helped but, her brothers health still deteriorated. It was her fathers final decision to move them to Verdanturf Town for one final try at a cure for his problems. There his health had thrived, the most lively Essa had ever seen him. She knew once he had felt better that she would leave, she was a week shy of her 18th birthday. All the moving and helping her parents with her brother had severely cut into her wanting to be a Pokemon trainer. Family first, right?
She wasn't about to let anyone know she was that old, she'd have to explain. And she wasn't about to be some tragic, old, weirdo trainer. She'd been travelling for nearly two weeks at this point. She knew she had to be at Professor Oaks today without fail. Or she'd have to wait another year to start her journey. Waiting on the older couple taking her from Cinnabar Island to Pallet town was the easy part... time wise, emotionally it was the longest since she was so close. First she'd hitched a ride with some merchants from Evergrande City to Cianwood, it had taken nearly five days. Then she hitched a ride with a merchant on his way to her old home of Goldenrod. It wasn't too hard after that to make her way to New Bark Town, although she had gotten lost a few times. Not that she would admit it. When she had again hopped into the water with an old man and his wife on their way to Cinnabar and Pallet Town riding their two Lapras together.
She hated traveling like that. Having to rely on the possibility of their kindness. But she was so close now! The brunette scooched closer to the old woman so she could peer over her shoulder. As soon as they docked Essa gave the old couple a hug and offered them some money as compensation, which they refused. She received their numbers in her gear and strict orders to visit them when she found herself in the Johto region. She nodded and ran off towards the pokemon lab.
She burst through the doors, "I'm here!" she panted, placing her hands on her knees. She really didn't need to sprint to the lab, it wasn't that far and it didn't look like any other trainers were there at the moment. She sighed and looked over at the pen of what she assumed were the last of the starters. Professor Oak walked over and greeted the messy Essa. She hadn't really taken a moment to compose herself mentally or physically and didn't realize how shabby she was until they passed a large reflective surface, "I'm terribly sorry for my appearance. I didn't want to stop until I got here." the Professor waved her comment aside "It's quite alright, you've traveled a distance to get here." he gestured towards the pen "I'm sure your partner won't mind what you look like either." Essa smiled at him and nodded. She walked into the playpen and began looking at the pokemon, she noticed a Tepig rolling around in some mud and playing with a totodile. "At this moment he would be perfect, we could both roll around in the dirt together." she laughed to herself and just as suddenly screamed. Something had crawled up her back and was messing around in her hair. She startlingly reached up to grab whatever it was when a Chimchar lowered his face down in front of hers.
She sighed with relief, "Oh thank Arceus. I thought you might have been some random Spinda or a Joltik or something." she reached up and picked the small monkey pokemon from her head and held him out in front of her like a small child. She smirked, "Do you want to come with me?" the Chimchar made a shrill squealing noise. She held him close and eventually let him climb onto her back. She heard her backpack unzip and felt him climb inside the bag. She walked towards the aid, "Guess he found a comfy spot" she said and smiled. The aid handed her six pokeballs and nitified her that one of them was for her Chimchar if she wanted to use it. She nodded and left. Looking at the ground outside and noticed all the tracks heading in the same direction. She couldn't get lost by following tracks, right?

Aurora was happy to have met people, but she noticed that the girl had an emergency and had to leave. She was a bit confused, but went with it. She turned to Roko and frowned a bit. "Well, what shall we do now?" she asked, walking through the city and sight seeing. She blushed when her Cyndaquil gently tapped her head and pointed towards a restaurant. She, herself, was a little bit hungry. Her stomach growled when she thought about food. She looked over at Roko to see if he was hungry at all. She could buy him food and hopefully he would repay the favor one day.
She smiled at Roko and asked him, "Roko, would you like to have some breakfast?" She waited for a response and tilted her head a bit. Cyndaquil started tapping her head a bit more then covered her eyes and tried to yank her head back. She circled around gently tickling him to try and make him stop. She laughed and pulled him off her head and into her arms. Gently hugging him and nuzzling him against her cheek she smiled and pet him. He truly was her new best friend and closest companion. She loved him with all her heart. Aries

Hunter suddenly blinked as Kyte pronounced she was leaving, wondering exactly why she had to go. "Okay, uhh... I suppose we'll be seeing you then." he spoke, waving a farewell to her and her pokemon. Tilting his head to Richter, he smiled. "Ah well, at least I still have one pretty lady to travel with." He grinned, turning to face Elena. "Shall we be off then?" he asked, grinning as they headed down the path towards Viridian City.
It was a long trek, or at least it felt long after all the pokemon battles he had gotten into with Trent and Richter. They had both gotten so strong from those little battles, and they were eager to show off as they arrived at last at Viridian City. Richter jumped up and down on Hunter's head happily, letting out happy cries and jumping down as Trent took off, the two pokemon leaving the two trainers in the dust.
"H-HEY! Wait! I know you're excited, but I don't know where you guys are going! Come back!" He whined, sighing. "Looks like they're excited..." He laughed lightly, rubbing his head lightly. "Blaze, keep an eye on them for me, will you?" he asked, calling out the borrowed Arcanine and smiling as he was nuzzled. "Go get 'em boy!" He ordered, Blaze giving a low grunt and bolting off after the two smaller pokemon. "Say, Elena. Think we could stop and get some potions while they explore the place?" He asked, his stomach growling. "...and maybe something to eat...? I kinda forgot to eat breakfast... I was a wee bit late so I had to skip." He admitted with a blush, laughing nervously.
