Human Leila moved about the town alone. She felt a bit strange and vulnerable without her brother nearby but she would eventually have to learn to be independent. They could not always be together, and now that he possibly had found his Mate....well Leila would not be the only person on his mind.
She walked around, kind of hoping to see the twins, but not sure what to say to them if she saw them. She was a bit upset by the appearance of this new She-Wolf. She had not wanted Kieran to find a Mate yet. She wanted him to learn to use his Shifting ability, and how to get along with his Wolf.
This left Leila alone with her thoughts. She was back to worrying. What if they were to be separated? What if her Mate was not a member of this Pack? Or any Pack! What if he was Human?! Would that mean her and her brother would never see each other again? So many thoughts, and even more questions flew around in her head.

Allison stopped at a diner for something to eat. Running around town and doing odd jobs takes a lot of energy which she'd been burning all day. "Rare steak with curly fries please," she said as she sat at the counter of the diner. She usually comes to the diner during her shifts. "And three more steaks to go." The waitress jotted down her orders. Since she's having steak it would be mean not to share what she had with the others.
Keagan ran around the forest chasing after the animals for fun while he patrolled around the perimeter of the forest. He had to be careful in case a human decides to go hunting. They don't usually have that problem but outsiders do tend to come around during hunting season. Tales of large animals attracts curious people.

Leila stopped to watch a show that was taking place in the middle of the square. It was nothing fancy, just a few men playing some lively music. Several people traveling with the group started to dance and lead people from the crowd into the dancing group.
One of the male's who appeared to be a bit older then Leila held out his hand to Leila. She found her cheeks warm at the smile he gave her. She placed her hand in his and he pulled her in. Immediately he started to dance with her.
With his help and the help of the group around her she quickly caught on to the dance for the most part. The group continued to grow and dance. Finally after what seemed like forever the music stopped. The dancing to an end. She felt flushed and extremely warm from the vigorous dancing.
The group said their good byes and continued on their way. Leila hated seeing the traveling Pack go, but she did want them to share their music with others. It had been just what she needed to cheer up.
Leila found herself walking aimlessly. Back along the perimeter of the woods. Her Wolf wanted the scents from the woods. She indulged her and walked along near it, so the sounds, sights and smells were available to them.
She hadn't been walking that long before she felt that unsettling feeling. She felt like she was being watch. In fact she was sure of it. The hair on the back of her neck were rising and her Wolf had started a low menacing growl that rumbled throughout her small chest.
She began to walk faster, hoping to get out of sight. She heard the quiet rustling. She paused and started to walk fast. The sound grew louder. Her walk quickened and the rustling did as well. She turned and caught glimpse of what she thought was in pursuit of her.
It was a large almost completely black Wolf. It's eyes shined a rich golden color. It growled at her and she ran as fast as she could. She could hear it crashing through the woods but she was now running deeper into the town. The Wolf dared not leave the woods she noticed.
She wondered if this was one of the other Alphas she had been warned about. She wasn't sure but she could seems it was in fact an Alpha. A very angry one at that. Immediately she set out to find Allison.

Keagan's ears twitched at the sound of twigs breaking and heavy footfalls from a distance. He was aware of other wolf clans around the community who tends to stay in the woods being close to nature. They don't normally attack unless provoked. He stopped his little game and went to investigate the source of the noise. He gave out a warning bark as he neared the area.
"Thanks," Allison said to the waitress as she received her meal. She started eating her steak while the three she ordered was placed in doggy bags, no pun intended. She started to eat unaware of what’s happening outside. Her ears did pick up the familiar sound of her brother. She’s confident that her brother can take care of himself but she does worry a bit when he puts himself in certain situations. ”Please don’t do anything stupid,” she muttered to herself.

The large male intruder Wolf growled. He was in a bad mood. He walked back the way he came when he caught the scent of another male Wolf. He sniffed and started to follow the scent back to the male Wolf. He was not fully matured, but not a pup either. He smelled like a healthy male and definitely at the very least a Beta.
The growling started deep in his chest, rumbling through his body. After a few minutes he came across the other Wolf. He snapped his teeth at him and slowly approached him. Clearly this male was looking for a fight.

Keagan halted to a stop when a wolf showed itself to him, snapping its teeth at him. He backed up a bit not wanting to engage the alpha in a fight. He watched as the wolf circled him. He didn’t want to provoke the alpha by making any sudden move. If the wolf attacks, he’ll have no choice but to fight back. It’s rare for a beta to win against an alpha. The alpha seems very territorial and definitely wouldn’t let him go without a fight. They were further in the forest far from his pack.

The male looked away as he heard the call of another Wolf. He tilted his head back and listened. It was his Mate calling to him. He growled once more at the male and approached slowly. Another howl went up and again the Alpha stopped. He finally turned and took off. Running toward the female's cries.

Keagan let out a sigh of relief as the alpha took off towards the direction of another wolf’s cry. He wondered who this male alpha is. He hasn’t met him before and this close to the community. The alpha could be another traveler like Leila and her brother. He waited until it was safe to move to head back to his patrol. He’ll have to report the sightings of the alpha to the others. Having more than one alpha wolf is trouble especially within the same territory. Although he would hold off mentioning it to his twin. She’d make a fuss over it. Allison ate her meal though she felt worried and relieved at the same time. Whatever her brother was up to is over now. She will have to ask him what happened later when they meet up. She looked up looking across the counter towards the window spotting a familiar she-wolf running around in a panic. She wondered what’s gotten the young traveler girl scared out of her wits.

Leila paused and sniffed the air. She could smell Allison. The scent was not strong, and the other scents surrounding them made it hard to track specifically Allison. Leila managed, and was proud of herself when she entered the diner and spotted Allison. She moved toward her and paused at her table.
"Hi....may I?" She asked as she motioned to the seat across from her.

Allison looked at Leila and nodded as she asked to take the seat across her. "What's got you all spooked?" she asked the shifter. She had seen her in a panic just outside the diner. "Are you hungry?" she added since it was already placed in order.
Keagan stayed in the forest area a little longer before returning to town. He went home first to shower and change before going to town to find his sister and share whatever reports they've got. He was sure the news of a foreign alpha almost attacking him would have his sister demand doubling their duty personnel.

Leila focused on calming her breathing. Her Wolf was very worked up and wanted out. She had to calm herself and her Wolf. Finally she leaned in closer to Allison.
"There is a highly aggressive male Alpha in the woods. Before you ask, no it is NOT my brother. He also was not with me, so I don't think it was a challenge thing!" She bit her lower lip.
"I am not sure if he is of your Pack or not. He....he didn't smell like this Pack though. Not that I got close to him."

Allison stopped eating and fully gave her attention to the shifter. ”Was my brother there?” she asked though she knew the answer already. This alpha would have ran into her brother as it were his route. She was sure her brother would have confronted the intruder. ”Leila, go find your brother and head to the house. We don’t want to start a war against another pack.” Her waitress brought her requested meals in a bag and she paid for them. She then handed Leila the bag of food. ”Go,” she said simply as she stood up.
Keagan looked at his reflection in the bathroom mirror. He saw the wolf in him reflected in the mirror. It’s eyes glowed bright yellow as it opened its mouth in a sort of grin. The encounter he had with the alpha has gotten his wolf on edge. He knew that the alpha will come back and this time he will have to fight. The alpha has his scent and he will be back for him.

Leila accepted the food and thanked Allison. "I will find my brother and we will go to the house. I am sure your brother is fine, I think he was involved. I could smell him." She stood up and started for the door. She lead the way out, and to where she had spotted the Alpha.
"I think he is an intruder...I am almost willing to bet on it." She motioned out to where she saw him in the woods.
"He was out there...."

Allison walked behind her out the diner and looked towards the direction that the shifter encountered the alpha. She could feel her own wolf tense and on edge. ”My brother’s presence in that forest...would attract a challenge to the alpha,” she said knowing just how territorial and egotistical certain alphas can get, especially a wolf. ”If you run into my brother, tell him I’ve gone to seek council with the elders. Do what you can to stop him from countering the alpha again. We may be of alpha bloodline but we are still betas.
