Viper 9000
Okay thank you. I'm glad we got them all done.
Ah yeah that's a good point. Let's just go with what you said first. Lol.
Haha I like Jackie Chan. I love the Rush Hour movies!! XD
Oh btw, I found a useful article about character personalities. It said instead of making a 'grocery list' of personality traits, to actually write out examples that SHOW how they act or react to different things.
I.e. instead of saying 'kind', you'd write; (Name) likes to help old ladies cross the street and hand out candy to children. Or (Name) likes to listen to others and try to help with their problems.I think that's the gist of it anyway. They explained it way better than I can, lol.
It's on that site with the world building and character creation stuff. So I've been going through and trying to redo the personalities of my characters in their profiles.
A final boss...oooh! Sounds super fun! I'm sure we can give him some weaknesses and flaws so that the characters can defeat him.
Also, about fights and so on...er, do you know how to work that yet? 'Cause I'm a newbie at them and the last two times I tried I think I did pretty crappily and the person who was meant to be helping me was not much help in telling me when I did stuff wrong.
Maybe we can use a coin toss or y/n counter to find out whether something hits, and then roll a dice to see how much damage it would do on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the weakest and 10 being the strongest....
I also got that idea from the site I'd been reading but it wasn't actually from a battle system, it was from a character creation system so I dunno if that would even work...do you think it'd work? Or should we just write things open ended so...
(name) threw a knife towards the (other person)
(other person) reacted by dodging but it still left a cut where it grazed past. (other person) then aimed a spell at (name)...
and just leave room for people to react/respond each time.
What's easiest? Or should we do a combination of both?
