Hisashi frowned as the wolves split up and attacked the others. He was not going to be able to protect his nin, they were going to have to make do themselves.
He saw that Abi, who had found a rather inventive hidey-hole was now being industriously dug out, and the old man was screaming and shouting rather profane oaths at the giant, slobbering animal.
Hisashi was not too sure about what to make of these animals as of just yet. On the one hand,they were attacking here and there as if they were nothing more than a threesome of stupid, rabid creatures.Then they made a move that out this into doubt. For example, he was rather sure that the wolf digging Abi out could easily just dive into the bush and pull him out, it certainly had the body-mass for it...
What the bloody blazes is going on? He wondered, but decided to think about this later, as Dosou was thrown like a rag-doll into the air.

Hisashi watched Dosou fly but knew better than to worry about him. If he landed badly, there was nothing much he could do for him anyway, and if he fell right, he would be alright.
Whether or no Ville liked to fight or no, he was going to have to fend for himself, as Hisashi now had to concentrate on protecting their ward, the old man.
He was rather sure he was 'feeling surreal' again. Which generally meant, in his experience, that something 'was up', meaning that he was next to sure that this whole scene was engineered by someone pulling strings. For what reason, he had no idea, but he was ready to bet his balls on it. The ANBU agent had grown up with their current Kachuukage as his team-mate, and knew more about her than most others did. He knew she was highly manipulative and tended to think on many fronts at once.
Uzumaki Reiko, he knew, was fully capable of playing both sides against each other. She had done so on more than one occasion on their past, joint missions. This tendency had worried many, but she had seemed to grow out of it. Hisashi had his doubts; this behaviour was so very inherent in her that he doubted anyone could simple grow out of it, however, he was never bothered by it. The girl was clever and needed some way of keeping those brain paths occupied. That was no skin off his nose.
But now the thought circled through his head: she had been the one who had send us on this mission.
As much as he trusted Reiko, there was always the nagging doubt that this cleverness of hers might lead not only to her own, but to all of their demise. He had never said anything about this to anyone, however, he had made sure to keep a close eye on the woman he thought of as the sister he had never had, thinking of how similar she was to her father, who had taken too many risks and had killed himself as a result....
Hisashi sighed, then shook all thoughts out of his head, and focused on the problem at hand. Kenshin and Ville were on their own, Dosou was out of the picture and there was the wolf he now had to target to keep it from taking a bite out of the old man.
He had to prioritise now.
Running through a series of hand-seals again, he ran towards the third wolf, skidding to a stop right behind it's massive rear.
"Doton: Doryuusou!" he shouted, slamming his hands on the earth again, focusing his chakra right down his arms and into the ground, feeling the ground responding in an instant and shooting out four wickedly sharpened spikes out and into the wolf's thick flesh.

What do you do when there is an evil you cannot defeat by just means? Do you stain your hands with evil to destroy evil, or do you remain steadfastly just and righteous even if it means surrendering to evil? In my case, I commit evil in order to destroy the greater evil!

Hisashi wanted to sigh but didn't have much time as with a quick movement of his right foot behind his left foot he made a very fast spinning side step to get to her side with his maneuver before sending a palm forward with quick speed by use of the gentle fist aimed at her side while still in mid step to send her a few feet away though he was ready to pull back should she be ready and try something
Perhaps this is what I have always wished for since that day. The loss and destruction of all. That's right, one must destroy before creating. In that case, if my conscience becomes a hindrance to me, then I will simply erase it. I have no other choice but to move forward

Kenshin jumped back. The wolf had been hurt, but ti continued to fight. Ken saw aa the Captain protected Ojjisan. He had to win this 1v1 battle to continue the mission. Ken held his sword firm high. He took deep breathes. This was as close to death as the boy had ever been. "Want some more you damn wolf?" Ken screamed.

The Ice Wolf attacking Ojiiisan, was stabbed many times through its torso, and was left whining while Hisashi, dived in for a final blow, but it somehow managed to free itself and ran off, whining loudly, into the depths of the jungle around them.
The wolf attacking Kenshin leaped against the boy's sword and grabbed it in its enormous mouth, the blade cutting into its jaws, but it seemed to pay no attention to it.
The pale woman threw her kunai at the Hyuuga, then landed to see if she had struck. She then muffled a scream as one of her precious wolves was impaled horribly, then sighed in relief as the animal backed of from the confrontation.
She did not know how long they would have to hold out, but she knew they needed to do so for as long as possible.

Wind &Fire Uzumaki Reiko Uzushiogakure Kage
Rekio landed on the shores of the Land of Fire a good day behind Hisashi's team, whom she had all but sent on reconnaissance to the Land of Rain, but under the guise of escorting a rather pathetic peddler on his rounds, whether he wanted to go or no....
Reiko, however, took a different route, with three masked and silent ANBU members in her wake. She was headed northwest and not due west as her team was.
Moving silently through the jungle passes, Reiko had no intention of visiting Konohagakure, the mother and matron village of her own little Uzushiogakure. She was thinking that it was about time that the new-foundling settlement began to stand on its own feet, and she was just the person who was going to try and make the village stand out and say to the world at large: 'we're back and you had better watch out'.
Night fell, and the small wordless team made camp and took turns sleep and keeping watch over the others. This was done in pairs, something Reiko almost missed in her own time with the ANBU, an organisation she had all but taken under her wings when she had become Kage. She had taken the original structure that had been given by Konoha and had re-devised it into an organisation more suited to the needs of the young village and its citizens. It's secrecy remained, and was even improved upon. The three-man cells were kept, as well as the code-names, but the way in which these cells communicated was completely changed, and in a way no one really knew, adding to the already considerable mystery surrounding this group of ninja.
There were rumors that Reiko had hardened them in to a very specialist assassination organisation. Some even said, that Reiko was walking down a path that Danyo had once taken. But no one really knew just how much of this was speculation.
Morning came, and Reiko and her escorts returned to road. They traveled in this way for another silent and thoughtful three days before they finally reached their first inhabited stop along their journey.
Hisashi saw the wolves run off and leave them without any warning. He looked about at the damage sustained and made his team move on to the nearest village for re-coop.

Kaito jumped to the side as the kunai's made a small cut to his arm causing the young boy to grimace,"i really dont like the idea of fighting a woman, but i dont think this lady is going to let me run away easily "Kaito thought but decided to try anyway as he began running away onto the swampy water to the other side

The pale woman did not bother to follow the Hyuuga. She felt her wolves running and breath a small, quiet sigh of relief, then simply jumped off and away in the opposite direction, following her now injured wolves, limping with their pain herself.

Hisashi looked back and saw that his attacker had retreated but all the same he kept on running feeling that it was better safe than sorry in his book keeping watch a bit longer Hisashi would de-activate his byakugan as he kept on running until finally stopping and resting on a tree before noticing a red color and turned noticing that the cut from the kunai had been deeper than he had first thought but as tired as he was he could only bother to tear off a shirt sleeve and tie it over the wound until he got back his energy

Four ninja appeared in the middle of the forested area. Three of the ninja were jounin, and had joined together to use the Flying Raijin technique so that they could drop off the fourth nin, Yumaki S. Uchiha.
"Alright, thanks guys. I owe you." He spoke, giving a wave before the ninja nodded and left the area. The young Uchiha kept his hand on the hilt of his chokuto as he walked through the forest, activating his sharingan just in case.
The ninja was there because he had been told about his team member, Hisashi Hyuuga, getting himself wrapped up into trouble. Apparently some spy nin had watched the entire event unfold. After training for awhile, the Uchiha had went to the office of the Kazekage and learnt about the situation. "Damnit Hisashi, if you're going to be my rival, you can't just run off and get injured in a place like this." He muttered.
Set looked around and realised that there was nobody nearby. "Might as well go over some of those moves that I learned." He spoke, raising up two fingers to perform the most common hand sign. Drawing in chakra, the Uchiha took a breath before expelling two dragon-head fireballs. With his left hand he worked on another jutsu while his right hand prepared to do another. "Phoenix Sage Flame!" After releasing the previous dragon song, Yumaki let out his breath in bursts, expelling multiple fireballs from his mouth. With his right hand finishing the seals for another jutsu, Set rose his hand, sending up fire from the earths core to surround him before waving his hand to push out the fire in different directions. Multiple trees got caught up in the flames, causing smoke to be seen in the air above his location.
"Now, the next jutsu." With a clap of his hands, Yumaki's arms and legs became coated in black flames. Amaterasu. Jumping into the air, he did a spin before slamming his fist to the ground, causing a shockwave of amaterasu to spread across the floor. Letting out a few heavy breaths, Yumaki stood up and rose both hands to the sky. "Now, my A-rank jutsu. Heaven conce-" He stopped, realising that he had gotten carried away. "Hn. I had better start looking for Hisashi."

Hisashi after a little while noted that he was beginning to gain back a bit of his energy and so got up and tightened the know bloody piece of cloth around his arm" First burning know cutting, i think people have it out for my this week "Hisashi said to himself in a carefree tone as he got up and looked around activating his byakugan then noticing a familiar chakra ahead, and heading over to that side, until he got to wear he had been heading to and noticed the fire as he gave a small sigh" Or you stalking me or just destroying the forest " Hisashi said being careful and were he stepped along the ground

Yumaki noticed Hisashi and let his sharingan swirl, the amaterasu getting absorbed into his sharingan. "A little of both. I heard that you were here so I decided to check the place out. Now my goal is to get you out of here alive. By the way, who did this to you, Hisashi?" He asked, looking at the cut on the arm of the other boy.
He casted sharingan once again and looked around the area, though he couldn't find anything. He just felt a little...cold, despite all of his fire crackling around them.
