 Though he had made it to the next section of the labyrinth, the draining effect remained. Fortunately, it wasn't so strong a pull that he figured he needed to discard any of the flowers he held in his arms. So instead he continued to walk. Though this time at a much slower pace. After all, with no yellow eyed monsters present there was no need to carry on at the pace he had set before. Good thing to. If he had to run as he was now, he might just fall over. There was however, some strange coloured creatures wandering about.
Ryan watched them warily from a distance for a moment, but they paid him no mind. They seemed only interested in continuing on in one direction. Which he could live with. Docile creatures he could stand. The savage little ankle biters on the other hand... not so much.
Sacrificed HP to the miasma flowers and moving on to sector E!

Finally, the miasma blooms. A silent sigh as she relaxed a little, picking at one of the flowers. Oh...that felt odd. As though the blooms were draining her own miasma in return.
It was a small price to be paid. She picked a few more, storing them in her robe folds. She would just need to take them to the center...
A few more were needed, though.

She continued to pick more flowers, biting her lip as they took her miasma. It wasn't a very good feeling...but it was something she needed to endure. The tortoise was well protected, and took things at a steady pace. He always came out the winner, in the long run. So she would be slow and steady, and wear a hardened shell. The pain was nothing for the Kingdom.

This place was almost...ghostly. When Sharra arrived he scanned the area as per usual, seeing who he could spot from his vantage point. However, it seemed that the place was a wasteland...as though all life had been forcibly stripped from this area, torn out at the roots. Every now and again he felt as though he were missing something, as though his senses could not be wholly and fully trusted. There was a soft growl of defiance...and he moved forward, wanting to be rid of this place as quickly as he was able. [Entering] All in all it was definitely one of the most eventful sort of days he could remember having... so it sort of had that going or it. He'd made a new associate (not friend, the blue eyed man had made that clear.) coming out of the destruction of his Kingdom, and although it wasn't one of his ordinary tasks, he did at least have something to do. Standing in the first section of the Labrynth he did have to admit that it seemed... so far... simple enough. The sensation of being watched was unnerving, as were the faint whispers that he never seemed to be able to catch, in spite of glancing several times as he contemplated the situation. Eventually having figured out that he wasn't likely to catch the whispers, or the whisperers, he concluded it might well be best to let them whisper, and get on with it. Miasma collection. Right. Sounded mostly straight forward. The catch was probably ridiculously exciting. Could be fun! Definitely not boring. Had to admit that much about today. it wasn't at all boring Time to get going... [Entering From Green Kingdom] Kemnebi looked around her sector, the place looked nearly deserted. Wondering how far the rest of her team moved, she headed further into the area. So far it seemed fairly safe, a few animals here and there, nothing too dangerous. The plants around here were weird though, every few seconds Nebi would turn at what she thought was a vine trying to grab her. Wrinkling her nose in disgust, she moved on. She wasn't about to let her king down by not getting anywhere just because she'd ended up separated from the rest of her group. Pressing on, she finally came to a barrier. Not really a barrier...more like the trees grew closer together, and she could sense more animals. Angry ones, ones that might be hard to summon. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Stepping over the boundary was like stepping into sewage. Kemnebi sank down to her calves in the mud, and a horrifying stench rose around her. Nasty yellow eyes were staring at her and, when she paused, she started to sink. Wonderful. She tried to call for a deer to help drag her out of this muck and, hopefully on to the next sector, but something much different answered her call. Some huge, horrible beast came out of the swamp and attacked her viciously. Managing to escape from a terrible beheading, Nebi notched an arrow and shot the animal. It quickly sank back out of sight. She picked more blooms, biting her lip a little harder as soon as she realized she'd picked one with two heads. That would be dangerous, more than likely. She gulped and sat down to clear her head.
If only she had brought tea...

He decided that he liked this zone far less than the last one... Wrinkling his nose at the stench, the Orychanian examined his footing. Well. This was working out just splendidly now wasn't it. Altogether hesitantly, he took a step into it, as there wasn't really a 'better' path through this muck, so he could only take the movements that didn't seem to be absolutely heinous. Heh. With his luck he'd be pulled into a sinkhole. Somewhere, mentally, he was crossing his fingers for Marosa, hoping that the Ganerie had managed his way across. Then again, the other was nimble...he should be all right.
Should.
Sharra was not so lucky, as he stumbled backwards into the thick of it, the teeth of some vicious creature lunging out of the water to snap at him, drawing huge gashes in the weapon tech's upper leg. Swearing, he slammed at the monster's snout with his fist, green flickering about the edges of his fingers as they changed and hardened, echoes of the claws that could be summoned at will.

Stepping into sector B was far worse than he had imagined. He had thought the overgrowth was distasteful, this... this was somewhat appalling. A thick bog, muddy and... and eyes were watching him. He did not like the looks of those golden orbs.
His feet squelched as he moved forward, trying his best to get through as quickly and painlessly as possible.

Rosciel hadn't taken more than two steps into the place when something snapped at his wing. With a soft growl, he whipped around to face whatever had attacked him, only to find that whatever had done so was already gone. No, he wasn't liking this particular part of the maze at all and would be very, very glad to get out of it.
His steps quickened as he tried to find the exit to the next part of the maze.
