( xD its not much really, ep 7 of season 3. they are in Wonderbolt academy together. idk if this is too much of a spoiler so its in spoiler tags, but I was hoping to mini plot with you and RD, Wolfs /explanation is in spoilers.
They don't really end up as friends at the end but I was sorta wanting to give LD a newish start in their new home and possibly if its ok with you, have her apologize to RD and at least somewhat make up lol
- also waiting for Celsetia before posting as Luna again.)
"Rainbow Dash, finally!" Lightning Dust said as she zipped up into the air to greet the other pegasus pony, much like Rainbow Dash, she had a faint glimmering trail of blue and gold lightning streams behind her before they vanished into the sky. "OH man I'd totally be up for a race right about now, anything. This is SOO lame." she grunted again, crossing her arms as she fluttered in place. "I think.. were heading that way." she pointed down a path that just led to trees, trees and more trees. "I can't even see anything through the trees." she huffed, staring upwards at the clouds, half tempted to just soar on upwards to see if she could get a clear view of the surrounding area.

Mo froze in surprise at first upon seeing the arrow just barely miss him by inches, but his smile quickly returned as he saw Gulliver come into view. "It's good to see you as well, brother!" he started then nodded. "And something is indeed happening."
"Chief Rais is on edge. I can see it." he started then shrugged a bit. "But he also seems to be excited about something. He can sense something coming. Something big. Even the Spirits of Laisidhiel seem to be telling him and Miss Vanya something, but appear to remain cryptic in their efforts.
He began walking towards the masses that were approaching - even though they weren't in sight yet - and turned briefly to make sure Gulliver was coming along. "Miss Vanya even told me something before I came looking for you by Chief Rais' order. She said... 'Do not fear. I sense no malice in this new presence. Wariness and fear, but also excitement and anticipation. The return of something lost; like a wayward child in a strange place, but knowing that home is just over the next hill, if one keeps moving...'..." he trailed off a bit then looked towards his older brother of the Circle.
Gulliver followed after Mo, noting this was not the direction of the Tree. With a silent hand gesture, the few Rangers that had become visible disappeared back into the foliage. Learn to trust in Vanya's visions and words, he repeated in his mind. It was hard, because his very nature had him believing in only what he could see and tangibly feel. Which meant when he became the Captain of the Rangers for a group of spiritual creatures, it was a big adjustment in faith.
"Are we to meet this ... presence?" He thought about the rest of what Mo relayed to him. The return of something lost ... "Maybe it has to do with those acorns lost in the storm a few seasons ago?"

Faroth frowned, mentally deflating a bit at the purple-haired Pony's answer. Any place to stay? Well, it didn't sound menacing anyway, especially not wanting a bath...unless you asked his son of course...but, for some reason, deep down inside, he felt he'd been expecting another answer. Or hoping for at least.
"Oh, well...maybe I could think of some place," he started to say, attention diverted for a moment by the white Pony with odd headgear dropping into the conversation. He blinked at her, but before he could say anything, the white male stepped forwards and launched into a speech.
Well, that was a lot of information and rather hard to absorb all at once, but...Faroth had to admit, this 'Shining Armor' was proving much more helpful and informative. Maybe he could work with him. Visitors from a foreign land...so, further than Telrunya proper, obviously. At the explanation, Faroth's blue orbs followed the male's gestures towards each type of 'Pony', noting the names and differences, but somewhere deep down, thinking that something about this seemed...wrong. Not like, bad wrong, or dangerous wrong, but like...not quite exactly right.
Then, the truth. A strange pull, leading them to Laisidhiel? Could it be? He'd heard similar tales from Chika and the others who had come with Lady Artemis. They'd been a bit different too, but they'd been Faun, called all the same to the Tree. Home. It was a bit of a leap, looking at these beings and thinking of them as Faun as well, but....was it possible? Who else could feel Laisidhiel's call?
Unseen, spirits lifted, he felt much more confident about what he was about to do. With a sudden, warm grin, Faroth shook his head at Shining Armor, chuckling, "Not as hard as you might think. Come on, gather everyone together and let's get moving." Grinning, steps lighter, Faroth glanced over to his son, playing with Pinkie, and Raina watching on, somewhere between bewildered and amused. A sharp whistle sounded from the grey dappled Faun, and both Ranuin's and Raina's ears twitched. Ranuin, on all fours, promptly shook himself, throwing dust into the air, then bound off on his paws after his dad, closely followed by the wolf.
Turning to Shining Armor once more with a grin, Faroth held out his hand. "Name's Faroth. Pleasure to meet you. How about I show you how to get to Laisidhiel?"
[I'm cool with plotz, and I skipped ahead to watch the episode to kind of see how RD acted with her]
Rainbow Dash's head tilted in surprise. It had been Lightning Dust who had been so excited to see her? She wasn't sure what to make of it, but she was alright with it for now, as long as no one ended up getting hurt. "I know right?" In reality, Rainbow Dash had spent most of the day lazing about at the end of the trail, floating on her back. She already knew she was the fastest pony, so there wasn't any point of trying to race the slow moving herd. That had gotten boring a looooong time ago though and Rainbow was ready to find out where they were going and get there. "Hmmm..." her pink eyes were gazing at the roof of the tree's "I don't think it would hurt if we went up there real quick and looked around. It's not like we're going to miss anything..."

Mo tilted his head at Gulliver. "I wasn't aware that any acorns were lost in the past..." he started, then began brewing this over with Vanya's words.
"I suppose it's possible, but there's only one way to find out, right?"
His pace quickened slightly. He wasn't skilled in the art of hiding amidst the trees like Gulliver and the Rangers were, but he at least knew how to talk to other Pae. New acquaintences or old friends.
Shining blinked a moment then tilted his head as he accepted the handshake by offering his hand. Faroth. What a strange name... And Laisidhiel?
"Laisidhiel..." he started, first making a motion for the others to follow their new guide, then tilted his head towards Faroth. "Is that what you call your hometown?"
"Oh YeY! We're moving again!" Pinkie giggled then blinked as the little baby seemed to take off on the path ahead, leaving her behind.
"Hey wait!" she called to the smaller one and bounced her way behind him, giggling. Once she had caught up with him, she swooped him up and plopped him on top of her head - though made sure to keep a hold of his hands to keep from falling. She giggled playfully then snerked! "Gee! You got tall pretty quick! You're growing up so fast!"
Finishing his apple and tossing the core - it's ok, it's biodegradable - Big Mac stretched his arms high over his head and thought to himself. 'Guess it's time ta start pullin' again...'
"Eeey-Yup!" he finished his mental thought aloud and grinned as he picked up the cart and began following the herd again.

Rarity was indeed glad to hear that they would be moving again. "Oh thank the stars of Equestria! I really could use with a bath and a bed." she said, before her nose twitched and she let out a loud unladylike like sneeze from the dirt now wafting off the wolf child. Her eyes went big as she tried to talk and not sneeze, alas it was in vain. "How....ahchernr...... indecent of you! ... AAHHCHCEEWW..... There are ladies around here wh-wh-wh---AACHOOOOOO!!!" she stopped, having to flail around to find a handkerchief to clean herself up while the strange pony left and the others began moving again.
"Then lets do it! I'm anxious to know where we are heading....or if Spitfire will set up another Academy." she said, flexing her wings. "Last one there is a rotten egg!" she laughed, darting into the sky before anyone could blinking, hoping that Rainbow Dash would follow.... and even if she didn't, she could brag about being first...or something. At least the other ponies now seemed to be moving and they might be able to get somewhere.
Cadence followed after Shining Armor, happily clinging to his arm. "Do you think we are finally going somewhere we can... stay?" she said, glancing up at him, twining her fingers deeper into his. And by stay, she meant somewhere hopefully permanent. All this traveling was beginning to wear her out as well and she echoed Rarity's thoughts about a nice warm bed. Though her thoughts were distracted by someone else.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" Luna's loud voice boomed as she strolled over, her hair waving behind her almost naturally as if it had a wind system of its own. Her blue gaze quickly flickered to Faroth, then over to her niece and her mate.
Cadence blinked at Luna. "Oh, this is Faroth." she said, pointing at the faun who had gone ahead and was now going to be their guide. "He is going to lead us to their home." she said softly, smiling.
Luna quirked her brow, a slight angry frown spreading across her face. Already they were following some stranger and no one had consulted herself or Celestia? Cadence was a Princess, but she wasn't exactly the rulers of Equestria. She felt uneasy about this.....but at least it was a direction somewhere. Her sister seemed busy enough as it is. "VERY WELL THEN. WE SHALL CONTINUE ON!." she shouted loudly..... before getting several strange stares and she groaned, having to remember to tone her voice down a little bit.
"Oh finnaalleeh, were moving. I hope the other ponies around here have much better fashion sense than this one." Hoity groaned, shuffling in behind everyone.
Ranuin let out a happy squeal, immediately clinging to Pinkie's bouncy hair, his little paws wiggling in the air. It was a wonderful feeling, and he was so tall now! Tall like Daddy! His tail swished back and forth behind him in childish glee, and he wiggled even as Pinkie held him securely in place.
Raina followed along, keeping a watchful eye on the tot...and another on her bonded. She was torn, trying to decide which one might be more silly: her bonded, or this pink, bouncy thing.
"Hometown?" Faroth seemed amused at the thought, chuckling softly. "You might say that, I suppose...but I'm sure it's not what you're expecting..." Interrupted by the shouting Princess, Faroth paused, quirking an eyebrow, but letting the pink Princess handle it. This was her business, not his...besides, she seemed to have things well in hand.
He didn't seem willing to say any more at the moment, only grinning to himself and looking up at the canopy from time to time. He'd glance back at the 'Ponies', then back up, then ahead....then up again. Finally, he found a break in the canopy. It wasn't much, and they still had quite a ways to go, but, even at this distance, it would be visible.
Beckoning his new friend over, Faroth guided Shining Armor over to peek up and out through the clear spot in the trees. In the distance, far in the distance, an enormous tree towered many, many, many times over the next tallest tree near it. A mountain surrounded by tiny trees.
Blue eyes glittering as he followed the line of his pointing arm, he chuckled. "That...is Laisidhiel."

Shining squeezed his mate's hand gently and smiled at her with some mild hope in his eyes. "I sure hope so..." he half whispered to her then gently touched horns with her.
They walked a few moments before Faroth gestured him over. He broke away from Cadence momentarily to see what it was that Faroth was pointing at.
His eyes grew wide. "Are you talking about that tree up there?" he asked in awe. He quickly gestured Cadence and the other Princesses over. "It's beautiful, Faroth. Are there more of your kind living there?"
Vinyl backed away from the royal couple, grinning 'cause she'd not only gained some info on what was going on, but they were moving again! Moving was better than just standing around with no purpose. Drove her nuts. Made her all kinds of antsy.
Stretching her arms over her head and twisting to pop a few joints, she felt better and ready to move on again. "Alright, let's do this!" she said to herself, fist-pumping the air with a grin. She had to keep her spirits up...it was a bit too quiet out here for her tastes, and her batteries for her music had run out on the trip over on the ship. Until she found some more, or found a way to recharge the ones she had, she'd have to find some other way to entertain herself.
Hmm...someone to talk to maybe. Glancing around, some Ponies had paired up to talk and were moving on, but a few remained alone. Spying a decked-out unicorn, she grinned and sidled over. Yeah, she'd heard a few things about this one, but...hey, she'd give anypony a chance just once. She raised a hand, matching pace with Trixie and asked, "Hey, what up?"

Namaqua had decided that he and Selah needed some fresh air, away from the cave. Besides, they were in need of more food, and he's still teaching Selah how to forage effectively. "Look here," he was saying to her, crouching down to point, "this plant has berries that are good to eat. And how do we know?"
Selah had been distracted all morning. Normally she loves lessons out in the woods, spending some nice, quiet, solitary time with her father. But today...something was strange. Adventure was in the air, and she was more interested in traipsing through the brush than actually looking for food. "It's because the berries are white and the leaves have six points," she says, reciting what her father had taught her so many times before. "Papa, I hear something."
Namaqua's ears twitch. So does he, now that she mentions it. Well, no better time to practice tracking. Even if they were vegetarians, hunting and tracking were still invaluable skills. "Well, let's follow it," he says with a soft chuckle. Then he grabs Selah's elbow as she goes to take off. "Quietly, softly," he reminds her. "And remember that your wings are stealthier than your footfalls."
Selah rolls her eyes and begins to hover, her leaflike wings beating almost silently. "C'mon!" she says impatiently. She's sure this isn't anything small they could make a little trap for and then release. This was big. She flits toward the noise, every so often pausing to let her father catch up. Silly Papa, moving slowly, deliberately. They'd played this game when she was little. It was always amazing how quiet his hooves were. She looks down at her soft feet. Her more homebound father had always worried about her gallivanting off without any kind of foot protection, but she'd never gotten hurt... "Come ON," says Selah, widening her eyes at Namaqua.
"What's gotten into you today, Selah?" asks Namaqua with a short laugh. "Did someone wind you too tightly before we left?"
And then they could see them. A huge group of Pae'il, in all sorts of bright colors. Some flew, most walked, all had a sense of shifting nervousness about them. "Strange..." he murmurs.
"Papa, look!" exclaims Selah excitedly. "Who are they?" She's transfixed on their bright colors, their soft-looking coats, their upright-pointed ears. "Look, they've got hooves like you! Are they other Faun, do you think?" she asks, tilting her head, still hovering. "They haven't got antlers, though," she points out, making a face.
"Hey look!" she exclaims suddenly. "That one's got a neat hat! Maybe they're friendly! C'mon!" and before her father can protest, she's off.
"Selah, wait!" exclaims Namaqua, trying to grab at her, but she'd flew away too quickly. Bloody wings, he grumbles inwardly. He chases after her; he'd never not caught her before.
"Hi!" exclaims Selah, stopping in front of the new person with the big hat and cape. "I'm Selah!"
Cadence watched Shining walk forward a bit, letting him talk while he did his best to calm down Luna. She seemed not to enjoy this idea of having to leave, not like Celestia, but Cadence couldn't blame her. However, when Shining called her over again, she smiled gently and excused herself. "What is it?" she asked, glancing over at the tree, her eyes wide. "Is that where we are going?"
Luna stepped forward, wanting to get in on this as well. If she had any hopes of finding her people... because they were half hers...right. ? ... a nice place to live and call their new homes, she needed to know as much information as possible. "A Tree?" she tiled her head, eyeing Faroth a few moments, her mind warped in thought. She guessed they could live in worse things than a tree..... "HOW LONG UNTIL...." she paused, cleared her throat a bit before continuing on. "..How long until we arrive and can get some rest?"

Trixie paused for a moment, her thoughts now broken by Vinyl. Her grey eyes peered over to the new pony. Ah - she knew of this one she'd thought... at least heard mention of a similar looking pony. "Thinking." She answered after a little bit of observing the other matching her pace.
"Hoping to find an answer here, where I can still be The Great and Pow--" Her thoughts were interrupted again though perhaps for the better. Startled at the new being Trixie tilted her head a bit... "Hello..." She greeted and after a few moments and realizing the other had introduced their-self, "I'm The Great and Powerful Trixie...." A small sigh, "No so powerful anymore, but still great." She made a point to indicate that while she might not have her powers anymore she was still the best unicorn ever, as far as she was concerned.
Trixie could occasionally give props to others that had their specialties but admitting it aloud? Neverrrr.
'More of my kind...' Faroth thought to himself in amusement. "Oh, yeah...a few," he said with a grin that implied he was grossly downplaying the truth of the statement. "We're called Fauns, by the way. And as I said, that," he made a grand sweeping gesture, " is Laisidhiel. Or the Great Tree, if that's easier to remember. It can be a bit tricky to remember at first."
"I don't know about a spa," he said, stepping away from the view to continue walking when the Ponies were ready. "But, we do have a decent bar and tavern...good food and drinks. And a warm place to sleep. We'll talk to the Chief when we get there, see about getting you all settled in." He was rambling a bit, but he couldn't help it. From what they'd said, the looks on their faces...he knew it had to be true. But...how? What did it mean?
