Shukri had not intended to become the center of attention but he was more than willing to accept the bit of fur that represented to him his help in triumphing over the beast. His injuries would fade with time but he would always have a memento of what had happened here.
" I can walk if you help me," he determined. It'd likely be a sort of jerky shambling but Shukri felt if he could get his legs under him he'd be able to manage to not be completely dependent on someone else. " Or I'll try anyway." If his body couldn't hold up even with support then dignity be damned he'd accept being carried vs freezing or bleeding to death.
The first step though was still getting him up off the ground, a feat that he assuredly could not complete alone.

With the battle won, it came time to tend to the wounded. Kadriye's magic training had included no healing thus far and the best she could do was jog over to Tahira's side and help her kin offer her knees and to stand again.
"I have you sister, it will all be fine," she reassured the younger prentice, as they walked towards where the others were gathering, to tend to those more grievously injured.
~~~ Tahira leaned on the young mystic as they walked, her pride a little wounded by the necessity of it. Still, they'd all gotten out of this mess alive and that was what counted. "We should get some trophies too," she murmured and tilted her head in the direction of the downed Wight. Not that anyone would think they were lying but it was still traditional almost and several of the others were doing it.
Aminah followed the others' lead and picked her own tuft of fur. She wasn't altogether happy about storing it with her belongings, but she already had a rock scale as a momento, it'd be a shame to stop now.
She ran to Keilana's side, afraid to touch her wounded friend. She didn't want to make it much worse for her. "Kei... are you sure you're ok? If you're going to help carry her then I should hold your hammer for you..." She noticed the way it dragged on the floor. There was no way Keilana was going to manage both it and a person.
Briella nodded, she understood that the man didn't want to be carried. She would help him walk, though if he couldn't move fast enough or was having a hard time she was going to just pick him up. His health was more important then his dignity.
"Just let me know if the walking is getting to much. And feel free to put all your weight on me." she said as she helped Shukri to his feet, being as careful as she could with him. She didn't want to aggravate his injures more then necessary when helping him up.
