One more hit, one more hit and maybe this thing would go down? Ofelia didn't want to think about it, it was so damn gross, and she elbowed the creature once more in the head. Nearby she saw several others getting pulled away, getting drug down, and she didn't want that to be her.

Wilson could only sigh as he continued to shoot directly at his elf. How was this thing not dying yet? It would at least comfort the hunter to hear the thing cough a few times or slow down its dragging pace, but no.
Pushing away at the elf that continued to torment her, and pull her back towards the edge, Kat raised her head when her name was called by a familiar voice. Looking up, she caught sight of Ami, just in time to see her pull her into a hug. Swaying slightly, Kat almost slumped forward onto the girl, as if to keep warm.
With Ami's coat pulled around her, she slid herself to the ground, huddling up in it as Ami quickly worked to wrap her scarf around Gale's neck as well. When pulled into a second hug, Kat almost felt like a leech, trying to adsorb the girl's body heat in attempt to warm herself. Nothing seemed to work at the moment, but she was grateful for the articles of clothing each of the hunters had given her. "Thank you.. both of you."
If she did somehow make it out of this mess--and that was not considering she would still have to deal with Caelius and the rest of the hunters--she was going to owe them. Big time.

Chaos and fog cluttered her vision, and a rumbling under her feet sapped Stormy of her momentary bravado. Surely the dracolich would quash her underfoot while she stumbled about in the confusion, but it wasn't so.
Stormy was instead in a strange, cold world where color wanted to be sapped away. And while she was one to like chilly weather, the atmosphere here only made her want to desummon Thane and clutch at herself. As it was she found herself far too close to the sinister smile of the figure and her . . . were those crowns? What on earth?
Thane offered no advice: he was too busy thriving on the Fear he had consumed and was so eager to expel again. A display of power well-suited to him, he added, but Stormy would have no opinion to share for now.
She was about to get accosted by an elf-ish thing.
damien was ever so glad to be able to stand again, even if it was on a weakened body, he was grateful. "thanks again, i mean it." he continued to say, barking at the pink haired ghoul and wagging his tail like all was well.
All was not. The time of rest was brief when the white fog began to seep in and put the hound on full alert, ears up and holding onto the spider ghouls hand. The little fog shrouded elves had the same idea when Damien began to n** at their little bodies, kicking them back as they tried to pull them closer to the ghoul and her try of shiny items.
The black fragments began to quicken in their pulse, the feeling taking over and his vice like grip on the ghouls hand was gone, the elfs dragging his closer to the end but not by much. "Stay back, away! don't get any closer!"
Sharra was very certain the elf had bitten him. And it was dragging him further towards the void that loomed, a place that the Nergal very much did not wish to go. Scanning the crowd again, he took a deep breath and backhanded the elf, doing minimal damage, but at least it distracted the pest for a second.
Zhi was not amused about the little elf thing that was attempting--and surprisingly successfully--pulling him along to the odd vortex below the strange figure's leg.
He decided that the only logical choice was the summon his bow and arrows and hopefully punt the elf into that vortex instead.
Nodding quietly to AJ, Shun glanced over to where Xiu stood. She seemed to have snapped out of whatever was going on with her. Though there was still a certain sort of lingering feeling within him. That power..
He shook his head. He needed to focus on the fight. Looking down, he saw one of the grey elves tugging at his leg. Narrowing his good eye, he went on to try and stab them in the face.

This time he was grimacing as he opted to bash the elf's head rather than douse it in poisonous gas. Obviously, it wasn't as effective, but it was doing wonders for Wilson's temper, or what little he had of it at least.
Persistent, annoying, horrible little creature. It just wouldn't stop pulling at her. "No, I said. No, no no." She placed the glaive between them and tried to pry the little thing off. No luck. She hit it, still nothing. Why wouldn't it leave her be? Why wouldn't it die?
She knew those were silly questions. She expected no answers. She did expect this terrible little thing to leave her alone, though. She wanted it to.
"Ugh. These things are awful!"

Ofelia didn't waste any time in destroying her elf, a final elbow to its head making it vanish entirely, and the teen turned her sights towards the foggy creature. She wasn't going to have this, she wasn't going to allow this. "Cherry, take care'a yer elf an' then get ta work on takin' down that thing! We gotta get rid'a it b'for sommin' bad happens."
Call it hunter intuation or a gut feeling, but Ofelia figured if they destroyed the creature then everything might get a little better. Maybe.

The tendrils continued to increase in number, and Mmur's gaze followed them curiously. For the briefest of moments he felt happy, at least until the stripey mist thing began to speak. Her cheery voice grated in his ears, and he wanted nothing more than to rip her apart.
He stepped forward to issue his challenge, lowering his precious helm over glowing eyes.
"You shall not—!" The soldier looked down at his bare feet. Something... elf-shaped was trying to tug him into the vortex at his enemy's feet. Ew.
Missions were never simple. Never. While he was getting pulled towards the center, Deryk swiped at the fog with Tooley, hoping to fend it off of him. The elf let out a small shriek, but it managed to hold onto him.
"Aaaaah... letgoofmepleassee.." he whined.

"Well then if you want me to leave you to your business, you had better give me a damned good reason why I should just ignore all of this." He sniped back, a low growl forming in his throat, while another elf tried to tug away at him.
"For the last time, I said bugger off!"
His shout was accompanied by a blast of blue light, raining down on the elf in the form of several bolts of lightning. It was still living, but barely.
