*Veria stared at her and smiled, "but that would mean that we would SHARE both shortstraw and the home. Even though we are on the same side now... i'm sure that would be annoying... to have me also clung to him when you are. To always be right there. Wont you tire of that?" She spoke honistly, however she was on the edge of her seat. She seemed too interested in this part of the conversation. And she was wide eyed.*

Kiera shrugged and leaned back in her chair. "I mean I'm not being as welcoming as to offer a place in the same bed as us, but you're perfectly welcome to live with us." She chuckled. "But you being there would be nice. You're a valuable part of this team we have. It would make things easier for everyone to have you around." She nodded and stood up as her stomach rumbled and she scratched her belly. "Is there any food here?" Mai yapped again, he was hungry too, it seemed.

Veria smerked, "well i guess i tried and i can't have it all. And no, due to soflora eats blood, and if he had a fridge down here donte would never do anything. So usally we have to go upside to eat. Though shortstraw hasn't eatten in days so maybe with you back you can convince him." She then smiled, "and i'm vary glad that you feel i am usful sister, that is all i wanted from anyone. I accept those terms." She nodded and giggled, "also i can tell you shortstraws on his way back, he coming through town right now. I'm sure you could meet him out there and convince him to a nice dinner, meanwhile i can feed your dog... Mai." She looked to Mai and smiled.*

Kiera clapped her hands together. "Sounds like a plan." She leaned down to Mai and petted him again. "Stay with Veira for a bit, okay boy? She'll feed you some nice things, I promise." Mai looked uneasily to Veira then back to Kiera and whined. It wasn't that he didn't like Veira, he liked her the same as he liked everyone else. He just didn't like leaving Kiera alone. He'd been around her so much to learn that she did stupid things without him. He whined. Kiera rolled her eyes and rubbed his side. "Don't do that. I won't be long." She smiled to Veira before she left the room. "Thanks Veira, we'll be back in a bit." Before long Kiera was out on the streets, looking to find Shortstraw.

*Shortstraw walked accross the street to find keria there waiting for him. He smiled and walked over to her, "Veria told you i was coming didn't she." He chukkled and looked to Asher, "if you want you can take the rest of the night off. Do whatever you do." He then looked to Keria, "So whats the occation?" He smiled.

Asher frowned at just being shrugged off like that. All for that bloody girl. She hopped off his shoulder and started to walk away. She admitted as much to say that Shortstraw's mentality wasn't the same without Kiera, but even so, she caused so much pain without even trying. She looked back to them both, before she disappeared into the shadows. Kiera smiled to Shortstraw. "Food. Food is the special occasion. I'm hungry, you need food. Lets go eat." Not exactly the most tactful of options she could have chosen to convince him, but it was so simple it might just work. She took his hand and turned him around. "I don't really feel like somewhere fancy. Mostly because it takes so long for the food to get served and there's just all those people gawking. Shall we go to a fast food place?" She didn't exactly give him a choice to eat, but she wasn't about to let him fall into the same non-eating pool that she did. Some kind of hell that was.

*Shortstraw chukkled, "alright alright. Whatever you want, however i'm not all that hungry..." He lied. He was starving himself, but that was becuse of other reasions aswell as not worrying aobut himself nor others. He then chukkled as they walked to a Mc Donldes. "Shall i pay or you?" He asked, "also i do hope you have been eating while you were away."

Kiera yawned. "I'll pay. I've missed the feeling of using my money for things like this." She looked to the variety of food above the counter and her eyes practically sparkled. "The places I went, you were kinda forced not to eat much. Some other people were dying out there, they were so used to their plush diets. I was mostly fine, because I was used to not eating much anyway." She smiled to him. "But I'm starving now. The trip back took 5 days on foot and all I've eaten on the way are hundreds of sugarcubes and fizzy drinks." She chuckled as they walked up to the counter. "Although I suppose this doesn't serve much better as for healthiness." She looked to him. "What do you want? You are having something." Kiera practically blossomed compared to the mood she was in when she came back.

*He shied, "small fry." The women behind the counter nodded and rung up the frys, "alright and you mam?" Shortstraw looked away as she ordered. And when he sat down he nodded finally, "you know i did always wonder what you would look like fat, you would still be butiful and everything, i just wonder sometimes." He chukkled, "and thanks i was broke anyways. Hard to fill a credit card with no one to fill it." He replied.

Kiera rolled her eyes as she put her tray to the side of the table and leaned back in the chair. "Pffft. I can tell you now that I will never ever let myself get fat. Even if I learn to love food that much, I would keep myself on a strict diet." She shuddered and sipped her drink. "I was a chubby child. Trust me, a fat Kiera is not a nice Kiera." She moved onto her food. "And yeah, I'll send you some more money when I can get round to it." She raised an eyebrow at him. "You need to eat more, though."

He was slowly munching the frys, "can't. I get sick now every time i eat. Well almost. That and when i didn't get your alsome food, i guess nothing really was good enough. I even had a fit over it just after i woke up. Once Veria had to force fed me, and thats when all the sick ever time i eat thing started." He looked to her, "and i didn't get to see what that looked like. Like it or not, i still wonder." He smiled, "i bet you were cute." He smerked and about choked on a fry as he sipped a sweet tea he got on the side. Even here, you could tell he wasn't the same, and she could problably tell it all came crashign down after she left. What else was wrong with him?"

Kiera sighed as she looked sadly to him then looked away. "I guess I'll just have to start making you food again. And even so, Hikari's food was still better than mine. Did you not try any of her food while I was gone? That might have done something." She was through the fries and onto a burger already. She was probably eating it in the most unladylike way possible and people who were passing through started to stare. She glared at each of them and crossed her legs casually. "I burned all the pictures of me as a child, too. So there really is no chance of you seeing what I looked like then." She chuckled.

*Shortstraw shook his head, "i had issues. If not for veria convincing me to hold on i wouldn't be here now." He said it in a vary... sadistic way. He then chukkled, "eh then i guess one day i'll just have to forcefeed you to your about to pop." He chukkled playfully and put the box of the half eatten frys down, "but i guess that fact is. If you eat, i'll eat." He nodded, "alot has changed with all of us. So setaling back in will be alittle odd. Sorry."

Kiera nodded as she put down her half eaten burger and stared straight in front of herself. "I'm trying." She looked to him slowly and smiled sweetly. "Things will be fine again. You'll see." She looked Back to the remaining food and swung it around into the rubbish behind her before she finished her drink and put that in the rubbish too. "Fine. If you eat, I'll eat. If I eat, you eat . But you better keep up your side of the deal." She leaned Back in her chair, shutting her eyes. Things Would be fine. Things would be just fine.

*Shortstraw nodded, "well honistly i think i everythin will fall back into place with alot of work. I think the first thing we can do as a together team would be building the house buy our selves, a project us as a familiy can put together to live in. Our own blood and sweat. And best part is, i'm now strong enough at least to pick up a board." He chukkled.
