Raven nodded at her team and stuffed as much flayrah into her large mouth as possible, resembling a large cranky chipmunk by the end of it. She knew with her mouth full that orders were no longer possible but she had told them what they needed to know and standing around wasn't an option. As the rowf barked she could swear the ground began to rumble under her paws - it was now or never, the farmer would surely be out here soon. Taking off in the direction they had come, she did her best to stay in a straight line whilst keeping an eye out for her team and possible places to hide behind should the need arise. -  ((OOC: Will edit this post after staff post ^^;; - Nope, will make new post after staff))

Sure as sunrise the barking had awoken the Farmer.
Not that he knew why that blasted hound was barking his fool head off again, just that no decent person could sleep with all that ruckus.
Tumbling out the front door in not much else but his pajamas, the farmer started screaming at his dog until he noticed what all the commotion was about.
Rabbits. A whole bunch of them too, stirring up trouble. Ducking back into his house, he went to get his gun.

 +Swan-Song+ Swan ran fast as he could, he was nearly tripping over his own feet. He heard the dog; but the wave of new panic made him glance back and there he saw the farmer. Panic, was all he felt; cold and dark it made the food in his mouth taste like ash. He wanted to go home, to safety in the warren. Shivering he lowered his head to try and make himself smaller; but oh how his bright fur shown out. (( ooc: ))

 Betony nearly tripped when she heard the farmer yell. Hracka. She wasn't a runner, had never been a runner. She couldn't outrun the farmer - but could she hide? She glanced around for a bush or a hollow, anything where she could hide from the farmer.
It was so hard not to panic.

It was too late to kick the rowf into silence now, Kalei thought. She nearly stumbled when the farmer had come out, but thankfully managed to stay on her feet. Had she fallen, she could have easily died.
The farmer was leaving now, but she knew he'd be back, and with his spitting electric snake, too. Her fangs were bared with a predatory grimace, but she knew now what she could do, at least. She knew she was fast, and if she needed to, she would be willing to play the decoy to help the others escape.

Raven nearly tripped over her own feet at the sound of the farmer's shouting, "Oh for Frith's sake!" she mumbled - mouth still full of carrots. Stopping dead in her tracks she checked for the rest of her team, and with a grumble spat what she was carrying onto the ground, "Everyone listen! If you are a fast runner then head back towards the warren - anyone who is small or slow moving find something to hide behind! Just make sure you don't get caught! I'll stay back with the dawdlers." she didn't like the idea of stopping now, not with a human so close by but there was no way everyone would make it back if they all ran together.

Just what she hadn't want happening. "Oh no.." she mumbled before picking up the pace as fast as she could. They could still hope to get away before he got his gun out... right?! Frith and Inle, please help us! A gun had already taken one of the rabbits in the races, she hoped no one would get taken this time. Everyone, Run! she prayed loudly in her, hoping her team would just scatter and she would see each and every one of them back on the down. But oh her heart pounded so hard she almost couldn't hear her own words as they rattled around in her brain with everything else. -will edit if need be-

Snakeroot skidded to a halt, her claws digging up grass and dirt as she whipped around to stare at Raven. Her heart pounding, she knew now that she had a choice to make. She only hoped Anis would be long gone by the time the cursed farmer came back to murder one of her own. She flinched at herself, and turned to hiss at Anisthary that she wanted to see hide nor hair from her until they were both safely back at the warren, however much to her pleasure, Anis was already gone, dashing ahead at Raven’s command. She would have to thank that doe at a later time.
Still, she had a choice, to keep herself hidden until it was all blown over, or to run and simply keep to the shadows. The choice wasn’t really a choice at all, she decided, and took off with a renewed vigor.
She was only quick enough to keep Anis’s tail in her sights, and when that tail suddenly veered, she could have screamed. Snakeroot dove from tree to tree, cursing her light colored pelt, and followed Anis and her seemingly random trail, wondering if she had gotten ahold of some mind ailing plant.

Pepper cursed under his breath as he heard the hollers of the farmer. He glanced towards Anis who was close to him not far off. “GO! Warn Althea’s team of the farmer. They need to get out of the barn and fast.” He ordered before branching off towards Kalei. “You get to team two and tell them to get out of here. The farmer is awake.” He barked before falling back to push the other’s forward. “MOVE!”  Ani gave a nod before she broke off from the group. Her speed counting being of major use, she didn’t get a chance to see Snakeroot as she moved but she hoped the other doe was alright. She never stopped moving though, beating wide around the field to avoid detection. Heading straight for the barn at full speed.

Kalei understood Raven's logic. The farmer was a dangerous enemy, and not one they could down like the other elil. It made sense to get the most rabbits and flayrah back to the warren, but... Kalei didn't want to leave the others behind. She knew what a boon her skill could be, but to what purpose should it serve?
Thankfully, that moment of hesitation was not her downfall. At Pepper's words, she nodded, and quickly left.

 Sunheart had joined the raid in order to prove herself. So far she had done nothing of the sort. She had merely been a small figure, scurrying along behind the others, silent and wary. With the dog and now the hunter, she was left stunned, her body frozen and her heart beating wildly in her chest. Brave, no, she was not brave at all.
