Titus flushed since the elements of her story weren't exactly a lie. He wished it had been, it would have been easier to b***h at her later. Instead he focused on his glass of water, nearly spilling it when she asked where he had been.
"N...no where." He said a little too quickly. Coughing he tried to gather his wits about him. "I had some....business to attend to."
"Business huh?" His Uncle grinned, raising a brow. "Must have been important."
Titus made an attempt at looking dignified though the blush across his pale cheeks didn't really help with the image. "....very.."

The ghoul raised a brow, observing the way Titus tinged pink. Her lips pulled into a crooked smirk. “Important business, huh, screecheart?” She echoed.
“Were you caulking the cracks in the bathroom tile?”

The pink hue across Titus' cheeks only grew darker in color and he turned a glare in Hel's direction before he attempted a smile. "I'm sorry, what was that screechie? You want dessert? Can't pass up a chance to stuff you're face. Uncle!" He motioned for the elderly demon to get moving.
Morpheus was almost caught off guard but if there was one thing that Titus knew for certain was that the meal was never complete without dessert. At least not when it came to his uncle. Hopefully this little break would steer the conversation in a different direction.
"Alright, alright. I see we've ruffled your feathers enough," His uncle grinned standing from his seat. "I'll be back." Scooting away from the table Morpheus took his leave of the room and disappeared into the kitchen leaving Hel and Titus in silence.
As soon as he was out of sight Titus turned a flat expression toward Hel. "What. In. The. Hell?" He bit off every word, his frustration evident.
