Ouch, that was quite a disaster. Instead of going around Crow, he managed to stumble over him, greatly reducing his speed.... and also possibly pissing off Crow. "Sorry!" he muttered as he dashed back towards the tree.

It didn't seem to be working. So much for a good start. hyd's spirits fell a bit but he was determined to finish the race.

He had a little bit better of a start but it wasn't by much. He focused and tried to push himself harder.
