Gulping he gave a nervous wave to Tobi. God he hoped this awkwardness would end soon. Sighing he hung his head low feeling that maybe he should just give up for the day. He was already feeling down but as he smelled that amazing scent of the food his head popped up again. "Mmmm~." He licked his lips, already forgetting about his worries of connecting with Tobi. The adult's stomach growled sounding like an animal but it wanted the delicious cooking right now.

"That smells nice." He sat up as tall as he could in his chair to see what Moira was doing, though since he was relatively small in the first place it didn't help much.

XXSmiling when the half-angel heard the two boys enjoying the scent of what she was cooking. After flipping the pancakes, she checked on the bacon and put down another pan and put a decent amount of butter in it before sliding in a teaspoon of butter and cracking an egg into the pan, deftly using the 'one handed' cracking method for it. About 15 minutes later, she started to plate everything up - Three pancakes and three slices of bacon and an egg for each. Sure there was more that had been made, but if they wanted seconds, they could get them.
Taking two plates, Moira put them down in front of the two, grabbing some syrup on her way back to the counter where she grabbed her own plate and some forks. Setting everything down, she herself settled into a chair and slid the syrup to Tobias. "I hope you like it - I might have cooked some of the pancakes and eggs a little too long, but the first batch of pancakes usually are a little more done than others..".

It wasn't long before Vic was digging in like he hadn't eaten for so long. Even if he packed it into his mouth he made sure to chew it nice and slow to savor the flavors. Vic felt as if he was in heaven, getting to eat his wife's cooking and now having a child. Could he ask for anything better? Well there were a few more things but he was very pleased with what he had now. Stuffing his face again Vic looked over to Tobi and gave a goofy smile, well at least he tried to as some of the food came sticking out of his mouth.

Tobias stared at the food in front of him, blinking a few times, then stared at a knife for a moment... It wiggled around on the table for a bit before finally raising up into the air to get some butter, then started to smother his pancakes in it. Once that was done, it cut them neatly into little triangles and then went back to resting on the table again. "It looks good, thank you..." He then picked up a piece of bacon and nibbled on that first.

XXMoira smiled, watching the two eat for a little, wanting to know how Tobias thought of her cooking before she herself started to eat. She also wanted to figure out how much he was willing to eat so plate and portion sizes could be thought out, even though Metas were Metas, they still had specific dietary needs like humans. Taking a pancake without anything else on it, she bit into it and chuckled at Vic, "You goof.".

Vic nearly chocked on his food a few times but luckily it wasn't too serious. His excitement was just getting to him so he decided on eating slower until he finished. Pushing the plate away from him, he would normally ask for more but he thought maybe some thinking was needed. His mind filled with all the things his own parents did to prepare and wondered if he should do the same. The looks on his face got more serious as he thought but it was a serious issue. What if Tobi got hurt due to not planning things ahead? It made Vic worry as he thought more about it to the point that he began to grow pale.

Tobi eventually finished his bacon and eggs, and then started on the pancakes. He wouldn't be going for seconds, that was for sure. He already felt pretty full... Vic's antics caused him to stare at the adult with a blank expression a few times... was that considered good table manners?
Avon had scolded him for eating that fast last time he was really hungry during a meal...

XX"You don't have to worry about manners with us, I know when I was little I had no table manners anyways.." Moira laughed a little, remembering that at one point nearly ate everything in the kitchen. Oh the downside of being a Meta with a fast metabolism and large apatite. Happy to see that Tobias was at least eating the food and seemed to be enjoying it, she went on to eat the rest of her food.
Glancing back up to the boy after a moment of silence, she smiled softly, "Just be yourself, alright Tobias? We're here to help you grow and learn as well as protect you.".

Vic didn't listen to what Moira was talking about, Vic was in his own little world of worry. He thought having kids would be full of excitement and happy times but now he was starting or more like think that it wasn't all just as he thought. A headache could be felt as he thought harder about it so he tried to stop and began to rub his head. "God dammit." Vic whispered and gave a heavy sigh.

Tobi finished up his pancakes, shrugging a little. "Avon told me that I should eat slowly because then I won't over eat..." He looked back to Vic, hearing the muttering, and frowned. "Did I do something wrong??"

XXMoira looked up at Vic and then back to Tobi, beginning to clean up and put away the extra food. "No, I think he's just..worried." she murmured, turning to look at the two after she had finished cleaning up, "Considering that we're both new to this parenting thing, we're both worried. Worried that we'll screw up as badly as my parents did with me." She sighed, running a hand through her hair.

Finally Vic looked to the others, he had actually forgotten that they had been there all this time and it made him just a tiny bit embarrassed. Vic was always going into his own little world when he went to thinking. It was the norm for him that even his family knew it. Vic laughed a bit nervously but what Moira said was more true than anything. He didn't want what happened to Moira to happened and he worried he would do the same. Sure he had his own parents as a guide but what if he couldn't be as good as them. Normally Vic didn't care much to be up to someone's standards but this time it included someone else and would have a part in how they became when they were older. Again he was thinking about all the worries but this time he tried to wave it off.

XXThe half-angel sort of nodded, "They said they did, but.." She paused and thought about what she said and decided against blurting it all out now, not wanting to trigger the poor boy. "I'll tell you about it when you're a little older, alright?" She said softly as she walked over to him. "Would you like to see the guest room that we can convert into your own room?" Moira asked as she sat back down at the table.
