Suddenly Tedan frowned as he seemed to hear another voice. Or voices? He wasn't sure. Then the ground started shaking and he stumbled a bit, looking around as he tried to keep his feet. It was impossible, though, as the world suddenly bucked under him and then the ground was just gone.

Letting out a scream of his own, the Hunter fell ....

Petro had seen faces, familiar and unfamiliar, disappear into the Haunted House. He had no fondness for the structure, and may in fact regard it with disdain and the faintest desire to have it torn down. But he wasn't going to run, or stay idle. Not while many of his fellow students went to perhaps retrieve those whisked away or consumed with insanity. Even when the fog thickened and disoriented and overwhelmed him, he continued forward and onward.

Before hated the Haunted House. He remembered what had happened. What had almost happened. The things they did. The people they lost. He remembered all the feelings and the day they stopped. And yet somehow, he knew there would be worse coming up. Mostly because he had enjoyed himself in the earlier mission. And the laws of checks and balances dictated for every tiny moment of happiness experienced, a ******** of tragedy and misery must be paid in response. And he was just waiting for it to happen.

Oh Jack, he had only just stepped inside and Clyde could had sworn the voice of someone he had missed terribly had greeted him. He spun around, fanatically looking for the source of the voice but was greeted by nothing but fog. A small sigh of disappointment was all he could give before realization caught up to him. Where did everyone go? A sliver of panic and dread filled the varcolac as he gave his surrounding cautious glance.

He was alone. Oh Jack, he was alone.

He is in so much s**t.

The Mist Trainee had never been so glad that they were here for observation before. At least, not until he ended up smacking into someone (or something). Hey, it was foggy okay? It was hard to see and- "HOLY s**t WHAT IS UP WITH YOUR GUT!??!?!" he gawked, staring slack-jaw at the... gaping jaw where a human's stomach normally was. DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD8

Chaya slunk through the mist. This place smelled strange, and she wasn't sure she liked it. The rise of the fog had interested her, and she'd followed it, but she wasn't at all sure any more than she'd done the right thing. Nobody was here, and voices drifted in the fog; her tail bristled where it was tucked low.

"Hello?" she called uncertainly. "Hello?"

When the ground started to shake Lihua let out a small yelp.

"Whats going on?"

She looked all around her. A voice. No voices were asking or demanding for help.

"Help? Help find what? I can't help someone I can't see."

Lihua screamed when the ground opened up and she fell in.

Staring around, lost within the mist, his eyes grew wide at the sounds he heard. Help? They need help? Help with...what?

But before he could really ponder that, the kitsune found the floor beneath his feet giving way, as he fell with a inhuman yip down the abyss.

He had just been leaving the dorm when the fog has surged from nowhere and swallowed him. Billy had only just finished moving his stuff in, he had been going to walk the school grounds, to see what was about.

Well apparently what was about was fog, and not normal fog either. He liked normal fog. The cool tendrils of this fog brought whispers to his ears, slid around him and enveloped him. He was uneasy. Fog was supposed to be safe, the stuff to hide in and tease others. This fog was unfriendly, it closed him off, he couldn't make anything out. A few steps backward proved the dorm building was no longer there.

Where was he?

"Hello?" he called out nervously. More whispers greeted him.

The very moment Eisheth left the meeting with Medea she felt the ungoodly presence of something: something strong, unusual, unnatural by its sheer structure. Perhaps, that was the Ancient the priestess was talking about: it wasn't at all like a single person, or a creature, or even a collective Fear particles, like the Phoenix, but something entirely different. it was nowhere and everywhere at the same time.

Her first intention was to go with others to the Haunted House, but thinking a bit more she forfeited this idea. Her experience told her the best strategy would be to go in a different direction: the enemy - that particular kind of enemy - would surely find her.

..and it happened. The alchemist heard something: a familiar voice, she even could say she caught a glimpse of some familiar silhouette from another era, from a completely different life, and then... it was fog everywhere around. She examined it, our of curiosity: it was a bit similar to the fog surrounding their Lair, a sign of a middle world, a neither world caught in-between two different realms. There could be no mistake.

Ow, what in Jack did he bum--

"HOLY s**t WHAT IS UP WITH YOUR GUT!??!?!"

Normally, Clyde wouldn't be caught doing what he did, but he was currently anxious as hell and down right paranoid. So he did the only natural thing that came to mind when he was suddenly greeted by that gawking Hunter, he responded with a jump back and a scream yell.

Solia was like her weapon. Open to suggestion, malleable, she didn't fight orders when they were given. Or rather, she rarely did. When the doors opened, fingers tightened into Dakota's coat as brown eyes flicked over to LW. She didn't want to go. She didn't like this mission. But- They were going. They were moving, and Solia didn't want to be left behind. So she clung to who she could, entering the house, trying not to look back.

Madison didn't like this one bit - the fog was disgusting, and seemed to coat the inside of her lungs with every inhale. She'd been with others when they'd gone through the portal, but somehow she'd lost them all. A shadow in the mist could be anything: a friend, a foe, a trap. A mirage.

Quietly, she drew her weapon, one sword held in each hand. The weight of them was reassuring, though Kouki was fluttering anxiously in her mind. He hadn't quite been the same since being put into that golem body.

We're here to investigate. That's all, she tried to repeat to herself inside her own head. Trying to calm herself. But every time she took a deep breath, she tasted fog...

Wandering around in the fog, voices echoing in one's head with a tear stained face wasn't something new to the witch, as much as she hated to admit that. It had happened before, only that time it had been in a totally unknown place. A place she couldn't really escape from, whereas now there was the potentiality to leave. If only she could find her footing, find a way toward the greyed out Amityville she could escape all this.
But that would be admitting defeat. Admitting cowardice and admitting she couldn't handle being on her own. And while everything was rather frightening, alone and cloistered by all this fog, Belladonna felt she was doing fairly alright! All things considered...
"Monkshood can weaken a Reaper's connection to their weapon if used correctly. Mugwort can... Be used in protection and glamor spells and potions. Newt tail is a basic ingredient."
Having progressed through the list of plants and their magical properties once already, Belladonna had managed to get half way through it again before she finally stopped in the midst of the fog. With a heavy sigh one hand reached up and tried to wipe away the little wet trails on her cheeks. At least she'd stopped crying...

It would be another second or two for Before to recover his senses. After his initial shock at how this creature looked (oh God please let this be a Halloweener and not a Hunter that just got his stomach all gouged out oAo!!!) he was about to say something else when the thing pretty much mirrored his reaction.

Oh oh oh, they were having a yelling match now, were they? Before rolled his shoulders back a few times, seemingly planting his feet, and braced himself. "FRIENDLY OR VIOLENT!?" he hollered back. Hey, maybe this creature was hard of hearing too, Before had no reason to think otherwise 8C

His weapon wished she had hands. Or at least one so she could press her palm against her face.

The blasted fog. Again Alexander found himself lost and disoriented, unable to find anybody, friendly or hostile. It was maddening. There were sounds everywhere that he could hear but couldn't see, forever making him turn and look, which likely just had him wandering in circles for what was ages now. He still was too afraid to call out, scared of what horrors he might attract by doing so.

And so he continued to wander, lost and alone. So incredibly alone. The desolation he felt was like a dark and pain filled pit deep inside of him. His friends, they were gone. Either lost in the fog or having become one with it, one of those insanity creatures that wailed on and on about home. He took a moment to stop, the close his eyes, to try and calm down before moving on again. Surely eventually he would run into somebody.

He thought he heard voices ahead, and he turned towards them. If they were even real, if they weren't just more whispers born from mist like and blue eyed figures....
