There was no mouth and he paused. So she was like the spirits then? Speaking to the mind? It was strange, and his ears flicked around, trying to pick up any actual words rather than just what he was hearing in his head. His silence lasted a bit lonegr than it should and she shook his head. "Apologies. That is... I was not expecting your words in such a way." He made no motion to his head, guessing she would be used to certain reactions at first meeting.

The claws around his hand only got a small squeeze in reply. Not to hurt, but to acknowledge. They were rival alphas, a limp wrist would not suit. "I admit, I am not the one to stand out in a crowd. Or snow for that matter." He chuckled, despite himself. "You on the other hand... I am curious. I knew about you from when I enrolled around Scarentines, and then I find you died but later returned. Forgive my asking, but what transpired? It's been a large game of school rumors, which I do not place much stock in."

Since her "accident", Mayaa decided she had a knack for mixing and instead of making off with the cupcakes as a snack, she decided to toss some more into the cauldron.

She did still feel a bit peckish, and decided to keep one of the treats for herself. Debating which one to keep, she caught sight of a pretty tasty-looking cookie... that looked like the ghoul running this booth? It was probably best NOT to eat this in front of them, and so she pocketed the scrumptious treat, but not before seeing a plushie... that was FOR FREE. A PLUSHIE. FOR FREE.

It took all of Mayaa's willpower not to take more than 1... or 10... or 50.

In her excitement, she hadn't noticed that the cauldron exloded.

While they were walking around, Shun paused as he noticed... a rather sweet display. Literally. Oh. It looked like it was Riley's booth. The Reaper regarded it a little warily, but then carefully guided Mitsu towards it. A number of the things at the booth looked familiar. It seemed that the mindflayer was running for student council president once more.

Furthermore, there was the cauldron. Unfortunately, it didn't seem that the cupcakes were for general consumption. But it did give the reaper a mental note to find some place to grab something sweet for his lycan.

"It looks as though we're to toss these things into the concoction," he murmured. What was Riley planning with this? With a shrug, he tossed two cupcakes into the pot. Apparently it didn't really come out with anything particularly good.

"I don't believe I quite understand this..."

Billy followed his nose to..... cupcakes? More cupcakes than he could remember seeing in one spot. What was with all those cupcak..... oh a cauldron! How fun! He grabbed some of the sugary treats and tossed them in, grabbing one of the campaign cookies by accident. he was delighted with the result.

"Oh look, Blood Shortcake!" And it was topped with the cookie, that had picked up the sugar flower in it's hair. How cute. He decided to take the cookie for a souvenir.

Shun blinked as the cupcake came back... looking rather mysterious. Huh. Though, he soon eyed it with a little bit of scrutiny. Could... mysterious flavor be spoons?

Nah. That was ridiculous. Shaking his head to himself, he looked towards his lycan.

"Interesting cupcake... What do you suppose it tastes like?"

Shun stared at the cupcake too. He was wary of trying it himself. After a little more staring, he just shrugged.

"I guess pass it off to Riley. These seem to be for her anyway."

If there were spoons in it, she would be able to bypass that right? He wasn't sure if he had ever really... seen the mindflayer eat.
